Etoiles just announced that will be doing a virtual tour of the Louvre LIVE with famous vlogger and YouTuber Léna Situation this Saturday on January 13!

Not only are Etoiles' virtual museum tours always very educational and interesting, but he also says it's been his dream to visit the Louvre for a long time. He's very excited to explore it with chat, and he says he hopes that international viewers will also be able to watch and enjoy the stream with the help of subtitles, since he knows not everyone has the opportunity to see the Louvre and it's a once in a lifetime experience.

I took a bit of a break from GW2, as is normal for me, but upon coming back to it I'm kinda disappointed there's STILL not a suited Canach mini... or even a normal Canach mini for that matter, the only Canach mini we have is the captive one... which I suppose we take what we can get but god damn it I want a tiny dapper Canach to follow me.

God I'm just. ToTK fucking sucked and I'm mad about it.

Gameplay was amazing but the story what fucking story. It broke its own series' canon which I would've forgiven if it hadn't done it in a SEQUEL. Which not to mention it felt like it was SO embarrassed to be a sequel. It had Ganondorf do fuck all, not even use Puppet Zelda like TP did. It didn't even care to name its sages from the past and they all delivered the same stupid speech. The biggest most heartbreaking part of the game goes undone because reasons. I felt nothing during the final part of the final boss. It's a rehash of BotW without the wow factor. Treasures are aesthetic in nature and you can't even improve them. The sky is empty so why's it even there. One if its major characters just sits there to deliver exposition and send you places and does nothing else and then is inexplicably also in the post credits scene.

But I liked the Depths I fucking guess!!!

ok but i'm actually so angry ☺ if there was fairness charles would be pole sitter. he did a hell of a last lap in a car that is always on the edge and after ferrari screw the set ups one more time. he arranged his pace and the rhythm of the car during the whole quali preparing for that last lap. so he deserved it so much. am i being a sore loser? ofc! but i don't care 😭😭😭

Why Hiccup Cares For Toothless So Much

I don’t really know how to start this, so I guess I’ll just start putting my thoughts here and then put them together as things come up.

In the first movie Hiccup feels trapped. He’s got his father trying to protect him because he knows how un-Viking like he is but he also wants him to be more Viking like so he won’t have to worry about him. Then we see Gobber trying to help Hiccup fit in but only in the Viking way, not the way that Hiccup actually needs, although Gobber is trying his best it’s just the only way he knows. And then there is the rest of the village that despises Hiccup for all the problems he accidently creates while trying to fit in. Because he feels trapped in this world he doesn’t fit in so he looks for a way out and finds only one way for him to be the person everyone wants him to be; kill a dragon. If he can then he’ll prove he’s a real Viking after all.

So when he finally shoots down a dragon he can’t wait to finally kill it and be accepted. Except killing things isn’t so easy, especially for one so kind as Hiccup, so he finds he can’t do it. It’s at that point he resigns himself to never being a real Viking, to letting everyone down, to becoming just some ordinary person in the village. Even at dragon training you can tell he’s not really putting in any effort, he doesn’t care, he knows he won’t be able to do it.

So when he befriends Toothless and finds someone that cares for him not because of his achievements, but because of who he is... he latches on to that bond so tightly. He never thought he’d ever get this kind of love, didn’t even consider it an option, always thought he had to be some big tough guy to fit in and be loved, but this dragon, a supposed wild beast, cared for him and forgave him for taking his flight, for crippling him, when the village scorned him for breaking a few structures. That’s something far harder to forgive and yet he was forgiven and even became friends with the ‘beast’ he’d hurt. So to repay him Hiccup puts his all into making him fly again. And that makes Toothless care for Hiccup so much. It’s just, such a pure love that started with a need but, as shown in Gift of the Night Fury, ended in a want. I adore these boys and their friendship and it’s that friendship that made me love this to begin with.
