preference: sexuality? what’s your ‘type’? Well, for the people who don't know yet, I'm aroace hahah I've always just been ??? about irl romance xD As for my type, can't say about irl preferences, since see above. But my types in media are usually kind/nice in some way (gap moe works well with me in this sense, with cold/grumpy who is actually sweet. But also just plain old kind and sweet). And also prince/ss-ish elegant and pretty I also like. But I feel like my type is all over the place sometimes hahah Ah, and I don't really care about their gender tbh.

blush: what could someone do this valentine’s to make you feel special?

Eh, not sure. I never did anything for Valentine's Day in a romantic context. I guess showing their appreciation and having a sweet gesture towards me would be enough? Just knowing they care and view me in a special way. I don't need anything fancy, really ahah I'm a simple person(?) (in this sense XD)

What ideas come from when you were little

Not sure if it means past projects that survived to this day, or just general motifs/parts of my artstyle that have made it to my present. If it's about past projects… none really, all my past OCs and stories have died some way or another 😔 My oldest OC right now, Diana, I plan to use in my new project as a supporting character, so maybe her! As for my style and such, I think the "I wanna draw pretty girls, with pretty hair and pretty outfits" of my childhood never left hahah Those are still my fav, and easiest, thing to draw~

4. Fav character/subject that’s a bitch to draw Well, there's a few like this? Idk, Ruggie and Sebek fall in this category for sure 🤔 Malleus too. And then, some of my other favs that are "manlier" from other media as well, like Xander from FE:Fates. I can't think of more like that rn, but I am working hard(?) to be able to draw muscles and manly so I can have the best of both worlds 💪😔 hahah

14. Any favorite motifs This is a bit broad for drawing 🤔 But I'd say some stuff for mine would be: pastel/soft colours, really blended shadding borders, flowy fabric with lots of details, frills, etc. and cute things. Also, I love drawing blushes, so adorable!

28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)

No zines, but I've joined oc x canon week and a couple Twisted Wonderland October events in the past (not the same both times so asklhfaslk). I also participated in a fem!twst collab in the past! And I'm active right now in the twst-charity project, does this count here?

What piece of yours do you think is underrated

TBH, any full rendered art that takes me a few days or even weeks. Those usually are the one with less interactions/appreciation 😭 (Still sad about my Epel Harveston drawing XD. Or how my van Zieks polished art got less interactions than the Susato one, which was doodle-ish with colour 😭) I mean, they're not perfect, but I put so much effort in those arts 😔 Forever sad about this topic.

Hi so this is the first oneshot I have ever published and this is the first oneshot I wrote so please be kind thank you :)

info: Fluff, port mafia (dark era) dazai x reader (slight language warning?)

"You're such an asshole!" you giggle at Dazai lightly bumping into him.

It's not unusual to find you, dazai, oda and ango at lupin bar occasionally on Friday nights. Your little squad had been spending most Friday nights together for a little over a year at this point it was nice, the atmosphere was warm and cozy the dim lighting the blissful lack of noise and commotion aside from the giggles and moving of stools or clinking of drinks to be heard from you and the boys. Nights like these made this bustling city and your at times overwhelming job feel like an after thought in the back of your head, too distracted by the evening banter between the boys and the occasional teasing between you and dazai. Tonight felt so joyful and happy considering the morbid mission you and the port mafias youngest executive in history aka your crush none other than osamu dazai had just returned from. You couldn't help but think of how blessed you are to have met these three dorks you called your close friends. Eventually you're snapped out of thought by dazai hugging you from behind.

"Right y/n!" the bandaged idiot said leaning his head on your should and hugging you tighter.

"Oh uh... sorry what dazai? I was lost in thought." you blushed.

"Wellll" the boy exaggerated. "I was just explaining to Ango that if any of us has a chance with you it would be me!" he smiled looking over your shoulder to face you, still yet to let go of the pull he had around you.

"W-What?! Who said anything about me dating anyone of you! And how are you so confident!" you squeaked squirming out of dazai's hug and blushing like crazy.

"Wow i'm hurt!" Dazai pouted folding his arms over one another. "But ya know y/n you look really cute when you get all flustered like this." he teased poking at your side.

"Shut up you weirdo!" you mumbled swatting away his hand.

"aha! told you didn't she!" oda chimed in chuckling.

You could never seem to figure out if you loved or hated the constant teasing your fellow mafia executive put you through. Despite the constant flirting between the two of you, you genuinely had no clue if dazai had any feelings other than the platonic kind towards you but you sure as hell weren't going to confess to him. After a few more drinks, ango decided it'd be best for him to head out; despite the fact he was a decent driver, the poor boy was a total lightweight. Just as ango was walking up the stairs to headout he tripped upwards and fell right back down. After that oda decided he'd better drive ango home before he wrecks his car so the two older men grabbed their stuff and said goodnight and with that it was just you and dazai.

"So y/n, tell me something" dazai asked, resting his chin in his palm admiring your stunning e/c eyes.

"Sure, what is it?" you say turning back to the bandaged boy you cared so deeply for.

"Would I ever actually have a shot with you?" he asked with out any hesitation or embarrassment, you admired how fearless he was all the time this being just another example despite it being something so small.

"Uh-ah why do you ask?" you look away in attempt to hide the obvious fact you are a blushing mess, despite the bravery you show on the battlefield you're actually quite a shy person.

"I know I tease you a lot, but I genuinely adore you and you are one of the few people who has ever made me feel happy..." he trailed off mumbling the last bit, for once the always bright and confident lunatic was blushing a bit.

"Are you telling me you have feelings for me dazai?" you grin getting all giddy at his confession.

"If I am?" he smiled gaining some confidence back.

"Well if you are i'd have to tell you i'm both flattered and shocked, to be honest i've always had a crush on you." you say with a bit of hesitation nervous and yet eager to hear his response. You patiently waited watching him becoming increasingly more nervous by the second. For about ten seconds all of which felt like an eternity added up he seemed shocked and then before you could process it dazai pulled you into a kiss. It wasn't a long or heated kiss but a passionate one none the less. After a few seconds he pulled away smiling and patted your head.

"I'm glad to hear that" he spoke smoothly his voice was soothing, you felt relief knowing his feelings were mutual despite the fact you weren't technically the one who confessed and at this moment everything felt blissful. you looked around realizing the lights had gotten dimmer and the bar had somehow gotten quieter and it was then you realized it was only you and dazai left.

"Dazai, not to ruin the moment but did the bar keeper leave?" you questioned slightly giggling at the awkward timing of you're question.

"Oh, ahah i'm suprised it took you this long" he giggled. "Yes don't worry though he left me with the keys, believe it or not this isn't the first friday i've locked up lupin." he responded

"Oh okay!" you smiled and then it hit you, it must've been really late at this point you reached out to check the time on your phone. "Oh my god! It's 2am ??!" you squeak. "I guess time really does fly."

"I guess so." he smiled still eyeing you in awe of your beauty. To him you were one of the most beautiful people on this earth, he could never get sick of staring at you or spending time with you.

"I-I should get going, it's late." you frowned realizing this meant goodbye for tonight.

"Wait y/n, let me take you home." he offered smiling "I know you don't live far but I also know you walked here and it's late."

"Sure, i'd love that!" you said with no hesitation, you and him both knew very well you could protect yourself but any excuse to spend time with him you'd take.

Following an advice given by my friend @flamaflavio I've decided to dedicate a series of posts on Northern Italy(because there's a serious lack of them in the fandom:(),whether they might be about culture,history,folklore,stereotypes(could be an interesting addition to characterization)or misconceptions*? Maybe even cuisine ahah

In this post I'll expain what we intend for North Italy, why it doesn't line up perfectly with canon and most importantly why Feli gets called "Italy" way more often than Mano.

Let's start by stating that in our country by North Italy we mean the regions of: Aosta Valley (Valle d'Aosta), Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Liguria(the region your girl's from), Lombardy(Lombardia), Piedmont (Piemonte), Veneto and Trentino Alto-Adige.

So you might ask me, why is it that in Hetalia Chibitalia has been shown as Florence as well??? Is it a mistake made by Hima?? Yes.. But actually no ahah! In this post I'll cover how we came to such a perception of the North in our country and why Tuscany and the rest of Central Italy, isn't included in it and doesn't consider themselves part of it :D

I won't talk about all history until nowadays of course (I'll definitely make future historical posts) I'll simply give you basic information based on early history to have an understanding of how us italians divide our country and why in canon other nations refer to Feliciano as Italy more commonly than they do with Romano(it is indeed based in history, it's not mean spirited!!).

So during the centuries prior to romanization North Italy was inhabited by a different bunch of cultures, among them the long haired Ligures(whose origin is unsure,Celtic?? Or simply celtified by their neighbors uhmm?? Talking about them in detail would take a whole ass post) the Veneti who were known for their commerce of amber and horse breeding, the Etruscans who, coming from Tuscany, colonised parts of the North and founded cities such as Bologna and in a later period a swarm of Gaulish tribes(generally referred to as the Celts).

The latter(most likely the Insubres) founded Milan in 590 BC, naming it Medhelan(the place in the middle of the plain, or among rivers) or Mediolanum as the Roman would call it later(Meśiolano as a Celtic engraving informs us) keep Milan in mind we'll come back to her later. Their domain extended from the Alps to the Adriatic sea.

This would be stopped by roman conquest that would culminate in 194 BC in the foundation of a province under the name of Gallia Cisalpina**,Cisalpine Gaul, id est Gaul on the hither side of the Alps(from the Romans point of view) that pretty much contained the regions which nowadays we consider North Italy.

The area became one of the most influential and rich provinces in the empire and it's strategic role is emphasized by the fact that in 286 the capital of the Western Roman Empire is moved from Rome to,guess where, Milan the main city in Gallia Cisalpina(and later on in Ravenna from 402 to the fall).

Is this why Grandpa is shown to leave poor Romano behind in canon in favour of his little brother??? Most likely!!! Btw if you're interested in the subject you should totally check out jjblue's Italia Annonaria (baby Feli) and Italia Suburbicaria (baby Mano) profiles on DA.

It's really unfair that the other characters call only Feliciano Italy:/ It's actually not true, as my friend flama has talked about in one her posts both Germany and America have called him Italy in the past. The fact that this behavior hurts Romano is long lasting misunderstanding in the fandom: he really doesn't care.

What annoys him it's that he's often referred to as "Italy's older brother" but not because he's Italy as well, but because that takes away his individuality: he's peeved by the fact he's only considered in relation to his brother, he's Romano besides being Feliciano's older brother ahah.

If his identity as Italy truly mattered to him he would have some kind of reaction out of being called Italy, especially by someone he has a bad relationship with like Germany, but he was left completely indifferent by that. I've often seen fanfictions where he's moved to tears by such action by it actually seems like he doesn't mind. He just wants people to understand he has a persona outside being Feli's big brother ahah.

There's actually a reason why Feli is "Italy" and it has been actually brought up recently in the fandom. Let's go back to history ahah.

A germanic general named Odoacer overthrew the last Roman Emperor, whose name for some reason I always found funnee, Romulus Augustulus.

Now the Eastern Roman Empire was having none of that and decided to invite Theodoric the Great of the Ostrogoths to rule over Italy under their approval(btw if you'll ever visit Ravenna do check out Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and Theodoric's Mausoleum). Ostrogothic rule was short lived (lasted pretty much Theodoric's reign) but greatly improved the economy and the arts. . . Too good to be true of course, because Justinian I(Eastern Roman emperor)decided he wanted to revive the glory ™ of the empire and this brings us to Gothic Wars.

Italy, especially the North, was left devastated by them, as they brought death(duh),poverty and were accompanied by a good dose of famine and plague. Byzantine rule wouldn't last long as a Germanic tribe***, the Lombards, took advantage of their weakness and took over italy and gave birth to a reign, which had Pavia as capital.

Said reign was called Langobardia, in particular North and Central Italy were named Langobardia Maior(The great Langobardia), which is the name under which North italy would be known as for a good part of the middle age and that gives the name to the modern region Milan and Pavia are located, Lombardia/Lombardy.

For example Boccaccio in his Decameron(in particular in the first novella) uses Lombards when referring to Italian merchants because that's the name they were given even if most of them came from Piedmont and Tuscany.

Lombard language and culture slowly was assimilated into the previous one and that can be seen in names, words and laws created in that period. This came to an end in 774 when Charles the Great, king of the Franks(and future Holy Roman Emperor), conquered Pavia and annexed the Lombard kingdom... Under the name of Kingdom of Italy!

So in other words the reason why our boy is the one who's called Italy the most is because he's simply been "Italy" for longer or more specifically for more than once(as I explain in the notes:)!!). Mano on the other hand would have most likely known as Kingdom of Sicily, Kingdom of Naples or Kingdom of the two Sicilies :). And I'm very much sure he would have been proud of such identity.

But what about central Italy??? You see the Papal States forged a document the Donation of Constantine, according to which Emperor Constantine assured Pope Silvester I(in 321) and his successors the exclusive domain over the city of Rome(btw Rome isn't part of southern Italy!!the fact South Italy is called Romano is really weird and so is North Italy as Veneziano ngl). This gave the Church access to "temporal power",id est material power and with it came territorial power. And so little by little (with the exception of Tuscany that flourished on it's own) it ate up the whole of Central Italy, which would develop a linguistic group, a culture and history of its own.

And that's pretty much what you need to know to understand Hetalia's confusing lore ahah. It's not everything I could go on explaining the era of the Commons and the Renaissance and go all through medieval and modern history to make you fully grasp it but I think it's enough for today:D let me know if you want me to talk about the subjects I mentioned in detail and if you want me to go on. *I've often seen Feli wearing tarantella clothes, because it's probably assumed as the italian™ traditional dance and the music is misused in videos about Italy(all of Italy!!)when it's really characteristic of the South:)! Would be nice to see more fan arts of Mano in those garments lol really nice

**Napoleon would found in the 18th century the Cisalpine Republic in North Italy, a sister republic of France, that would later become known as the Italian Republic and then the (napoleonic!!!)Kingdom of Italy:) not to be confused with the Kingdom of Italy that would be born on the 17th of March 1861,ring a bell ahah???Read Hetalia's Risorgimento strips if you want to know about that:)))Milan djdbdb was once again the capital of all these.

***considering Romano is stated to have Arabic blood which is definitely brought by the moorish occupation, I'd assume Feli's Germanic one has to do with daddy Lombards. The longobards ruled over the South as well so ehhh, but hey it's Hima we're talking about. Genetics work in a weird way in hetalia, they're like acquired??? Hima explains that Canada, America and Seychelles don't have England's bushy eyebrows because of France's influence. Wtf. Oh btw if you might be interested in the Lombards' origin in Historia Langobardorum Paulus Diaconus informs us they came from Scania(a region in Sweden) and the settled in "Scoringa".

If that's too much feel free to just assign me a vision + partner, ehe/// Preferably male for a romantic match-up, but either gender is fine with a friend and enemy match-up^^ I tried to be as detailed as possible but I think I ended up just ranting, so im v v sorry if it's long! I sort of fluctuate when it comes to being an introvert/extroverted. W// strangers and irl, I'm very introverted and shy!! Rarely speak and if I do it's just the usual "Hi how are you? That's good. I'm good too, thank you for asking:)" yeayea I'm not too. Keen on social interaction irl. But I always do my best to be very nice!! I never wanna come off as mean bc wow what a bad first impression that would be. But with friends / ppl ik online?? Whew I am very very friendly n chatty ^^ Either very high energy or very chill, there's rarely any inbetween. Sometimes I like to jokingly tease my friends but I'd never go too far / make them uncomfortable!! And if I do I always apologize right away!! I like to say that I'm affectionate?? I also really like to listen to other people talk abt things they like!!!! Its so nice :) I'm protective over people I care about!! I've never done it but 100% would bark at someone who messed with someone close to be. Arf arf yaknow. I tend to he impulsive. I'll do something, and be all "YEAH>:D" and then regret it later. And then I'll do it all over again in a fun little cycle :) I consider myself an optimist, but quickly turn into a pessimist whenever it concerns myself. Fun funfun. Should probably mention that I am. A very insecure person w/ dangerously low self esteem, which is super fun esp when you mix that with the fact that I'm rarely ever motivated to improve. Yayayay Also sort of a pushover?? Like most often than not I'll be convinced to do something, even if I'm not too keen on doing it. I think I get along with kids!! I have a little sister,, around like. Nine? And we get along really well!! I also try and match a kid's energy whenever I'm tasked with looking after them. I take pride in the fact that kids like me >:].... even if they sometimes scare me-- Ok, interest time!!

I like art!! Quite a bit!! Less of a realistic artist and more of a cartoonist!! Idk there's just something fun abt drawing cartoons, hehe. I also like self ships - I have quite a bit of them, actually ! Idk its comforting drawings your fictional crushes loving you idkidk. I like writing too! Both original stories, and one-shots or personal fics that are associated with already created media!! Writing character backstories and personalities and stuff is also fun too! I've even made my own fictional world with a full fledged backstory n everything! It's very fun to think about. I'm a day dreamer!!! Yea remember when I said I write stories? I day dream abt potential stories even more. Mmm daydream world so nice so warm so fun I read aswell!! Mostly fantasy books, or stories where animals are the protagonists. Think Warrior Cats. But my favorite book series has got to be Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Fantasy owl books, anyway! X Readers are also things I enjoy reading :) Again, s I m p Also gaming!!! Is something fun I do sometimes!!! Although it's usually Genshin Impact, or Wii Sports/Resort w// my little sister. Oh, also pokemon! I rlly like Primarina, Vaporeon, Sylveon and Vulpix/Ninetails! I absolutely adore sweet foods, and baking is smthn I'm def interested in! Don't like foods w// weird textures though, like beans or mashed potatoes. Also I. Love spice so much. Mmm love it when my mouth burns so bad. Don't have a favorite animal but I've had three cats in my lifetime (btw not important but my current cat is named Sylvester and. He's my baby boy) so I am. A very big cat fan. Probably not needed but I really like sword and claymore characters. Literally all of the characters I main are either sword or claymore users. Although I did get Diona, so I miiight start forcing myself to learn how to aimmm. I see that I tend to like people/characters that are a little more extroverted than me. Upbeat, happy type beat!!! My very first redraw from my very first edit posted here, so it deserves an honorable mention. Back then I was young and inexperienced, I didn't even apply a gray filter (lmao I was so unskilled I even unintentionally scratched the picture, I hadn't realized until today). I'm actually very happy my first redraw was of Don, boy deserves all the love.

#2: Emma and Ray - Chapter 140: I’m Here!

Back then this looked like so much work to me!!! And to this day, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm particularly proud of how the bow turned out. This is one I was really proud of right after having finished it; it gave me the confidence to try redrawing bigger areas. Probably the single panel redraw I'm the most proud of. That Norman panel was beautiful and very poignant at the end of a chapter I adored, so I believe it deserved all the time I've spent working on it. It's far from being perfect - the back of his head is too plain, and the difference between my brushes and the original brushes is pretty visible - but I still like it very much and am extremely attached to it. The horn looks kinda big but I honestly believe it to be more of an issue with the original than with what I had redrawn lol. Funny enough, the whole picture didn't make it to the final edit and had to be trimmed.

The very first edit I'm actually proud of; I'm really attached to it. It's the first edit I had put all of my effort into, and I remember feeling anxious people would have left it without notes. It kinda feels weird to think about it now, because I really don't care about notes anymore; yet, it somehow makes me happy to think that past-me wasn't let down. #3: Emma - Chapter 174: A New World (part 1)

I think the panels that were selected work very well together, especially considering the close-up / full body alternation. I love Emma, and I've always been kinda sad noticing that edits that focus one her take the less notes... She deserves all the love. Also, fun fact: for the last but one panel, I had redrawn Emma's whole left ear before remembering she doesn't have one, so I had to redraw the panel from the start. Besides from the error with the ear, the reason why this (and all the others after) took so long is because official panel take way longer to clean.

Lmao tbh I can't understand how this has so few notes it's like. Technically speaking, probably the best edit I've ever done. I was so glad to finally be able to make a Norman / Ray edit, and it turned out it was just in time before the series' finale. I like how it turned out and I'm pretty satisfied with the redraws (even though my sister helped me with the lineart of some panels - it was exams time and I really couldn't afford to spend more time on it), too bad we didn't have more chapters that focused on the boys. Ray sweetie one day I'll fix your ear it's just today's not that day.

Btw, I justed realized I have never done an Emma / Norman centered edit? I'll have to make one eventually. I remember considering focusing on them alone for the chapter 154 one, but then I thought "even if the manga is gonna ignore Ray, I will chose to do not" lol.
