SuperCorp Crack Fic Recs

A while ago I read a twitter thread started by the wonderful @SupercorpFics about Supercorp crack fics and I realized I had read a lot of them. In this post I have collect a few of my favorite and a lot of noteworthy Supercorp (Kara Danvers/Lena Luthor) crack fics. Most are funny, some are smutty and some are really out there. And of course there are also some Puppy!Kara and Cat!Lena fics.

Notes: In contrast to my more extensive fic recs this post only contains the fic name, author, link and author's summary. For a few fics I've added some of my thoughts and/or favorite quotes. Please note the ratings, author's warnings, and tags once you've clicked through to AO3.

The most crack Supercorp fics (my top 5)

a) The one in which Kara breaks Lena's fingers with her vagina

b) The one in which Kara has the remains of a broken vibrator stuck inside her

Summary: Sometimes super strength isn’t all that super and things get broken. When Kara finds herself in a rather embarrassing predicament there’s really only one person she can call to help. The consequences are not at all what she could have predicted. CW: Sexual content, embarrassing situations, having things stuck inside your body

My Notes: Very explicit and smutty and a bit cursed. And no happy ending (which you can avoid by stopping to read when Lena leaves the office).

 e) The one in which Lena thinks Kara is a stripper

Summary: Of all the ways Kara thought Lena could stumble upon her secret she never thought that this one was even a remote possibility. Lena found the snaps on her shirts; the snaps that Alex had insisted she get because resewing buttons took forever. Kara was ready for this to be the final piece of the puzzle for Lena; Lena would realize that she's Supergirl. What she didn't' think would happen was Lena instead thinking that she was a stripper. or Lena finds the snaps on Kara's button ups and thinks Kara is a stripper stuff goes crazy from there.

Puppy!Kara and Cat!Lena fics

I'm Here by RinkuWolfe207 When Kara Danvers was changed into a Golden Retriever puppy, the first thing she did was panic but she was eventually found by Lena Luthor, whose heart was won over by her puppy form. Lena Luthor swore to take care of her, and Kara couldn't help but do the same in return. ......Alex wasn't gonna be happy.

Kara the puppy by itsgaydude Supergirl is hit by a beam from a shape-shifting alien and is transformed into a dog because it was the only creature close to them and she tries to find Alex but instead she ends up in front of Lena's office and the latter finds her and decides to adopt her. Kara wanted to find Alex but Lena wouldn't let her out of her sight and she was guiltily digging the attention. after a while Kara finds out that Lena is in love with her and discovers that she feels the same so she tries desperately to go to the DEO for a cure and she comes back to Lena and tells her that she loves her in return. Or Kara is turned into a puppy. Lena adopts her and she spends most of her time struggling to fix this and enjoying being around Lena. The CEO accidentally admits to her feelings to her new pet and Kara confronts her about it once she's in her own body again.

Rao's Sauce by Super_Clexa Kara goes shopping at the grocery store one day when she finds the holiest sauce of all holy sauces … Rao’s Sauce.  Lena happens to be in the same store when she spots Kara spouting what sounds like some kind of chant while on the phone with Alex and telling her about this most sacred sauce she’s discovered.  Seeing Kara’s extreme excitement over food is nothing new, but never has Kara ever been so ready to exalt the food in front of her eyes.  This time when Kara finds a surprise in her office, it won’t be full of flowers!

The Blood Bags Saga by Super_Clexa  Kara is with Lena every time her life is in danger and has to fake minor injuries and carry blood bags with her constantly to fake injuries she incurs while Lena is being threatened and terrorized.  Lena begins to suspect that Kara is an alien, specifically Supergirl, until Kara blows her powers one day and she does get seriously injured.  Mayhem ensues.

Переняла интересную идею у @carol-blanka и решила ее чуть-чуть развить и видоизменить, описав каждое из состояний ~

Посередине – обычное; так я чувствую себя каждый день: растрёпанный человек с недосыпом от полуночных просмотров сериалов и парами в университете в восемь утра. Смехуёчки, шипперство, коммуникабельность – полный набор.

Первое – горящее сердце; чувствуешь себя стойким и сильным, готовым бороться и идти вперёд даже через боль, разбитое сердце и наполняющие грудную клетку чувства. Это когда музыка в наушниках гремит во всю, и даже тяжёлые ботинки бегут по асфальту с той же легкостью, что и любимые кеды.

Третья картинка – то состояние, которое не покидает меня уже пять лет; оно просто сидит в уголочке сознания, как зверь, готовый напасть в любой момент. Это ощущение удушья и тревоги, когда ты постоянно чувствуешь на спине чей-то взгляд, даже если находишься в комнате один; это паранойя, вина, бессилие, желание остаться одному, но и одиночество; состояние, когда каждое утро все сложнее встать с кровати, а решив принять душ, спустя час ты находишь себя на полу плачущим.

И во всех этих состояниях Я теряюсь и чувствую себя совершенно разными людьми. Интересно, можно ли считать их за альтер-эго?...

This is not a spoiler free rec. However, for many potential readers the following will be helpful to be aware of (and I think this is also not substantially more than what the author mentions in the author's notes and tags).

Due to the theme, this no powers AU one is probably not everyone’s cup of tea. These tags used by the author give a good overview: Secret Child AU, Ex-Girlfriends, Supercorp in the background, present reigncorp relationship.

The focus of this story is less the Lena/Sam relationship but the (somewhat tragic, the circumstances are a mystery at the start of the story) end of the Kara/Lena relationship (that happened several years before the time the story is set in and left a devastated Lena). And that Lena and Kara trying to build an amicable relationship so that their daughter can have Kara in her life.

If this premise is something you are interested in, then check this story out. I liked it.

Her downfall is not slow, it is not graceful. She crashes and burns and her image does too. It is when she’s at her lowest that the eyes of the public turn to watch her fall. AKA Lena has a very public celebrity breakdown post reveal. Luckily, she doesn’t have to deal with her pesky emotions alone.

This is a powerful, intense and very well written story. There is a happy (Lena/Sam) ending but most of this is not a happy or romantic fic. In fact, this fic is painful: Lena is suffering and hurting through most of the story and thanks to the talent of the author, I felt this quite intensely. If you can stand the angst, highly recommended.

This is a well written AU, that is told exclusively from Kara's point of view. Considering that with less than 5k words, this is not a very long story, the author manages to flash out a nicely constructed AU.

I love fake dating and witness protection AUs and this well written story is an excellent one. Apart from 2 angsty moments, this is a sweet and romantic story in which Sam, Ruby and Alex settle into small town life and go to lots of parties.

Sam looked down at her outfit. “They’re kind of the only clothes I like,” She explained, blushing slightly.

“I mean, they look nice.” Alex wasn’t lying. Sam’s style was definitely a highlight for Alex.

Sam blushed at Alex’s comment. “Do you only own dark clothing?”

Alex laughed, the majority of her clothes were various shades of black. “Okay, I deserved that.”
