Ancardian Pantheon Series
Jurovit
Jurovit is the God of the Moon, Inspiration, and of the Altered State of Mind, and while sometimes feared for his unpredictable method of incarnating himself, is a well-respected member of the pantheon amongst the Underground peoples as well as among Frost Giants (the only Night God they are known to venerate at all). Among Hobgoblins, Dark Elves, and Gnomes there are paladin orders devoted to Jurovit which are known to be highly chaotic forces for good, with their signature polearm weapon called a Half-Moon being readily recognized among the Underground.
As the Moon God, he is often falsely-associated with bringing the Were-curse upon Surface communities, when in fact Jurovit is very much known by his respectful followers to be the patron of curing Werebeasts and staving off such transformations. He typically incarnates himself in the form of an anthropomorphic rabbit or grasshopper—sometimes a mixture of both species—dressed in finery and walking with a silvery-hued cane. As one might expect, offerings to Jurovit are as changeable as he is, and differ with the moon phase. Most of these phases involve recreational substances, with New Moon nights being the time to offer psychoactive mushrooms, and Full Moon nights being the time to offer forms of alcohol. A range of other substances fill out the rest of the calendar, though these are matched differently depending on region and culture. His symbols are the full moon, the smoking pipe, and the rabbit (occasionally grasshopper, among certain sects of Trolls and Dark Elves).

Lagowere
The Lagowere is the form of those under the Were-Curse should they be most strongly devoted to Jurovit, God of the Moon and the Altered Consciousness. Most who end up becoming Lagoweres belong to the gnome, dark elf, and other Underground peoples. Such creatures may sound like they are not terribly threatening--but those who have encountered werebeasts consider this incarnation to be even more dangerous than Werewolves.
