i am walking down the street. it's windy. just bought ten big polystyrene sheets. 1 meter x 1 meter x 2cm. holding it with both my arms. walking down the street. big polystyrene sheets. ten. thin. very fragile. walking down the street. it's windy. very big. I am 1,65 meters tall. these are more than half my size. holding them in my arms. alone. ten big ones. wind comes between the sheets. they're very light. they break. they fly away. busy street. people behind me. ten polystyrene sheets. seven in my arms. three in the wind (they're broken in half) . i try to catch one. breaks in half. six in my arms now. the rest on the floor, sliding in the wind. i can't bend down to grab them. people eventually help me. i want to cry. i don't. because people are looking at me. i just bought them. "it's windy" a woman says. "yeah i know" i answer. 10 polystyrene sheets.
