Was interested in seeing how drawn out Kayla Harrison looked this week with the big weight cut. She looks fine. Much leaner than usual obviously. Granted she probably hasn’t cut the last bit down to 135lbs, haven’t seen her on the scale, and we won’t really know til Saturday how it affects her performance. But she doesn’t look like death, like Renan Barao.

Why comparing a cop to an artist and not to Sherlock Holmes tho? Imo, because they wanted to connect Hopper to the artist of the story, Will.

Then, in S4, Hopper tells the prisoners: This is your last meal

And later we see Will in front of L’ultima cena (The last supper) the second most famous Da Vinci’s painting.

Things turned upside down (July 12th). Plus: the town is outraged at the recent mishandling of a young boy’s disappearance.

And I think this title, Policeman shot 12 times survives, hints at Hopper’s curse. Kali, who’s connected to Henry, called Hopper policeman, and it’s interesting to me that the article here is about the massacre at Creel House. So they’re connecting Hopper to another father and veteran, Victor, who thought that a demon had cursed and destroyed his family because of their sins. And Victor’s sin is that he killed innocent people, including a baby in their crib.

And if our theory is correct and Hopper is Willel’s father, there’s another parallel with Victor. Both fathers think that they lost their children, but it’s not true.

I’m also intrigued by what Kayla noticed, Jayne and Mikey’s Palace. A reference to Jane and Mike? But what does it mean? 

Last reference I’ve found. Eleven reads about Kali, who was last seen on Saturday 12th before she vanished. Also, dragons!

Well, needless to say, I can't say I'm a fan of Jo at this point. It's a bit frustrating, because it's very clear (to me anyways) that her characterization is the result of some annoying tropes. I can get behind the idea of her wanting to be like her father, and maybe being a bit reckless, but the treatment of her is just... idk. Really frustrating.

I probably would have been a lot more sympathetic if it weren't for that weird turn around at the end. I understand Helen seeing John in the brothers and having issues with that, but Jo? After surviving all that with them? I can understand feeling conflicted, but the way it was presented... hrgh. Irritating all around.

At least this episode had concrete truck. Keeping in theme with the TMA references, Adelard Deckard would be proud.
