[Translation+Lyrics] 囚われの魔女 by Ariabl’eyes

Back at it again, this time I’ll be translating the album 終劇のロマネスク (Romanesque of the End) by our usual suspects, Ariabl’eyes. They released this album in 2016 and as soon as I heard it, I was entranced and became a fan, however I was saddened to find out there was apparently no translations for it on the whole wide internet. As such I had to take it upon myself to make sure there is one. If you find me to be grossly wrong and feel the need to call me out on my bad work, that is exactly what I want, please do so.

As is usual for this circle, this album also tells a story, this time it features a Prince, a sleeping Princess and a Witch. It’s a bit of a dark sleeping beauty kind of deal. This first track is rather short, and simply acts as a setup. The prince seems pretty pissed that the witch just won’t awaken his beloved princess despite him courteously keeping her alive in a dungeon. Also the princess seems to have a demon sleeping in her, typical stuff.

Luna seems to play both the Prince and the Witch for this song, but step on to the next song and it’ll be Rena playing the prince for just that one song. I’d like it if each character had sort of their own voice but there’s only so much you can do with only two singers. Anyway, keep reading down below for the lyrics, it’s an alright song.

(yes, the video says it’s the second track but the first track is just sort of a short intro, this one’s good enough for a beginning and more importantly it’s the one that the booklet actually transcribes)

Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Duel Monsters Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary with Memorial DVD/Blu-ray

Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG) Duel Monsters will celebrate its 20th anniversary in February 2019, while its sixth TV anime Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS has been aired since May 2017. As a part of the anniversary project, a 100-minute special DVD/Blu-ray "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists & Monsters Memorial Disc" to introduce 30 popular monsters/duelists from the six TV series will be released on March 20, 2019.

What if Aspiring Emperor Hope's effect was... a barrier against the new moon. Shingetsu's name. With that in mind, Yuuma protects himself with hope whenever he's attacked - once for every overlay unit. In the Duel, that's usually only two. But in real life, what if that translates to his friends? The people who remind him to keep going no matter what and defend him when he's down. Who remind him what he's fighting for and power him up with that. Think about it though. 'Moon Barrier'. Shingetsu. It might not be guarding WITH the moon... but FROM it. Which would be foreshadowing at its finest.

Once I saw that yugiohpixels had a Kibou ou Hope pixel, I had to re-do Yuma and Astral with it.  I would have used Astral Force for the background again but I wanted the Ou’s Key to show more and Halfway to Forever gave me exactly that.

There seems to be an unwritten rule that all Yugioh main protags must be able to pull never before seen cards from their asses. I mean,

Yugi/Atem: Legendary knight fusion monster that destroyed Dartz' serpent(first example I could think of)

Judai: Neos contact fusion monsters(Ok yes, he drew the orginial neospatians for each attribute, but you cannot tell me aqua neos/grand neos/magma neos/flare neos/etc were NOT ass pulls)

Yusei: Shooting Quazar dragon(Shooting star may have come from a tablet but THIS fucking thing is the definition of ass pull)

Yuma: Literally ALL forms of Kibou Ou Hope execept the original and the rank up magics used to summon them excluding Barian's force let's be real here, and future number zero on top for good measure

Yuya: Rune eyes, Beast Eyes, Odd-Eyes Rebellion, Odd-Eyes Wing, Odd-Eyes Venom, and then we have Yuto with Dark Requiem, Yugo with Crystal Wing, and Yuri with Greedy Venom. Methinks the Arc V protags are the kings of ass pulls.

Yusaku: I haven't seen enough of Vrains to know yet but I would be shocked if he DIDN'T pull a card out of his ass before Vrains ends.
