This is Monokicky LINE emoji.
Monokicky is my original character, a white and black monkey.
I tried to make it look like I drew it with a marker, avoiding bright colors and not adding shadows.

[image description: A headless figure stands silhouetted on a white background. They wear a deep blue jacket, violet shirt, black pants and neck tie and stand on one leg with arms spread. Around them a variety of emoji faces spin like a roulette wheel. Their head-du-jour will be determined wherever the spinning stops. Text reads, “63, 絵文字 ~ The Small God of Emoji”]
(Author’s note: None of you will ever understand how hard I had to fight the temptation to write this entry in Wingdings.)
They represent the earliest form of writing, the first method of sharing information between two people.
They straddle the line between literature and art, effortless and succinct.
They are so much older than they seem. The pantheon of Small Gods is littered with gods assumed to be youthful whose histories contain eons, but few are older than Emoji. In Emoji’s arms are a thousand symbols, a million hieroglyphics, a billion painted stones symbolizing all the wonders of the cosmos.
Sometimes they think they need a nap.
They were revered once, recognized as the essential piece of human evolution and intellect they truly were. They were held in highest esteem by scholars, tracked and traced and refined, idea becoming image, image becoming iconography. They were heroes of literary and thought.
Now they are reduced in the public eye to laughing yellow faces in CGI movies, to the incomprehensible language of the young. But they are known and universal, and one thing they know above all question:
They will always, inevitably, rise again.
