For Dracula fans looking for less well-known film adaptations:
Drakula İstanbul'da (1953) - The Turkish one. Not the most thrilling but pretty close to the plot of the book.
Zinda Laash (1967) - The Pakistani one. Kind of a musical. Plot is extremely similar to the Hammer version and the ending is just as insane.
Dracula (1968) (from Mystery & Imagination) - A pretty slow TV version. Not exciting but good enough.
Cuadecuc, Vampir (1970) - A weird-ass art movie made mostly from behind-the-scenes footage of the 1970 Count Dracula.
Hrabě Drákula (1971) - The Czech one. Haven't seen it in a while but I remember it being solid.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1973) - The Jack Palance one. One-sided reincarnated wife situation. He does a Godzilla scream.
Bara no Konrei ~Mayonaka ni Kawashita Yakusoku~ (2001) - A pretty loose version made by Malice Mizer.
Dracula: Pages from a Virgin’s Diary (2002) - A ballet version.
Dracula’s Curse (2002) - All I remember about this movie is that it kind of sucks.
The Vulture’s Eye (2004) - A modern-day version set in Virginia. Low budget but unique and pretty good.
Alucard (2008) - THE singular most faithful-to-the-book version. Don't let the literal $1500 budget scare you off I swear to god it's perfect
Dracula (2009) - Maybe the worst one ever. So bad it's actually unbelievable. It's like a Birdemic vibe but totally incomprehensible. HIGHLY recommend
Dracula, Lord of the Damned (2011) - A wild semi-animated version with sort of a comic book vibe.
Terror of Dracula (2012) - Another low budget one that I don't remember much about, but it's decent enough for what it is.

Do you ever sit out in the sun for like 5 minutes...
Where is that gif from I HAVE TO KNOW
It’s from the fabulously over-the-top vampire music video movie epic Bara no Konrei ~Mayonaka ni Kawashita Yakusoku~ (Wedding Rose ~The Promise Exchanged at Midnight~) by Malice Mizer. It is delightful, and I really need to watch it again soon.
Behold! The trailer!

Mana's three days of birthday lives are over so let me explain a little that is happening. Starting 2019 Mana and Moi dix Mois began recording a new album. But then the virus hit and everything stopped for safety reasons. Seth has already recorded vocals for about half the songs. So this year Mana will continue recording and hopefully release in winter. And Moi dix Mois was never gone. The band was never on hiatus. Seth is still the lead singer. (squashing rumors I constantly see on Twitter)
btw, it takes money to record and tour. So when Mana is making videos for Moi-même-Moitié, it's to promote his fashion line that he created. It also pays the bills. So if you want Moi dix Mois and Mana to do more, it really helps to buy. I know it's obvious, but sometimes it seems to get lost... Mana does put out a lot of free content, so supporting helps. And streaming, Mana is aware and wants to do it. Sometimes it's complicated.
I think that covers most of the rumors and complaints I see floating around online. Feel free to share if you want.
At this time, there is no paid delivery of streaming of the Birthday Live Shows outside of Japan. I suspect it is because some people outside of Japan put the video on Youtube, plus the use of credit cards for countries that were not authorized for the paid delivery. Doing that meant that Mana and everyone would not be able to collect payment.
ps, it's 19 years since MALICE MIZER released Bara no Konrei~Mayonaka ni Kawashita Yakusoku, Wedding Rose~The Promise Exchanged at Midnight was released. Perfectly good excuse to watch it again
