my friends I have a big big personal win to share that is not exciting to anyone but me. years ago I bought the perfect dress. it was kinda wednesday addams style— black with a white collar and cuffs and nice button closures and about knee length with three quarters sleeves and a very delicate fine merino wool knit with an extremely flattering fit through the torso and slight flare at the hips and I looked banging in it and wore if for like every interview and loved it… and then it had a terrible washing accident that ruined it. I’ve kept it hoping to maybe one day find a way to mend it enough to made it wearable again in a professional setting but never found anything that seemed suitable. and then. out of a desperate stab of missing that dress and wild hope, I did a google search, thinking maybe I’ll find something similar made by the same brand or something I doubt I could find the dress again it’s been like seven years…..and my friends my friends my friends.
