Language of Flowers: Field Lily
In the language of flowers, each day has its own flower. For today, November 13, that flower is Field Lily, which signifies humility. Image above from Wikipedia. In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus mentioned “lilies of the field.” Tulips, poppies, daisies, and other wildflowers have been suggested as candidates for “lilies of the field.” Did tall white lilies once grow in the fields and terraces…

*ISRAEL REALTIME* - "Connecting the World to Israel in Realtime"
🔻Anti-genocide peace rockets fired from Gaza today (2) at Sderot, and friendly neighbor welcoming rockets and friendly homicide drones were fired by Hezbollah at Kiryat Shmona (3), Arab al-Aramsha, and Katzrin today.
▪️From Wednesday to Friday, 70 buses with "pilgrims" crossed the Iraqi-Syrian border. It is clear that these are not pilgrims, but Iranian and Iraqi fighters who cross into the territory of Syria and Lebanon.
▪️ABOUT ALL THE WARNINGS OF WAR IN THE NORTH.. The IDF does not inform the public or countries near and far about future military operations that it intends to launch into an operation or war.  The messages you have been hearing are NOT from the IDF, but rather efforts of the political echelon to deliver a message to Hezbollah that Israel is getting serious.  And in response you get the opposite, the item above, Iran moving militia fighters closer.
▪️Houthis: American and British ships (war and merchant) became legitimate targets after their attacks on Yemen.
▪️4 U.S. bases attacked in Syria and Iraq overnight.
▪️ANGRY SOLDIERS SAY.. he media does not reflect the reality, we are mowing them down in Gaza!!  According to US estimates, Hamas had approximately 25,000 terrorists before the October 7 war, and that the IDF has eliminated about 10,000 Hamas fighters since Oct. 7 with thousands more are missing and wounded.
▪️JUDEA-SHOMRON STATs.. since the beginning of the war, over 2,950 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division and the Bekaa and Valleys Division, over 1,350 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
▪️FRANCE has joined the suspend-UNWRA club.
▪️Heavy snow on Mt. Hermon, the site is closed.
▪️(How info spreads…)  Min. Of Foreign Affairs contacted foreign embassies in Israel and checked whether they have generators and satellite phones for backup in case of long power outages.  And noting that all these facilities are in Tel Aviv, Hertzilya or Jerusalem - that spreads the thought “what does the government know that they would ask such a question?”
▪️Noting 10 days after “medication” was delivered with the promise of delivery to hostages - with evidence.  No evidence provided.  Remember the last deal, visits by the Red Cross… never happened.  Why do we keep doing this?
▪️NBC news says Biden administration considering slowing down arms shipments to Israel to force Netanyahu to follow U.S. orders to reduce fighting in Gaza.  WHERE ARE THE BABIES?
▪️Min. Of National Security signs regulations automatically extending gun licenses that would expire in Q1, 2024 for months.
▪️IDF: Two reserve units are withdrawing from Gaza, one reserve unit is DEPLOYING to Gaza.

Another interesting fact, the top of Mt Hermon is named Sion. It is where the Priory of Sion get their name.

Asbury
The following is a Facebook post from a friend of a friend.
I’m hesitant to post my thoughts on what’s happening in Wilmore. A few of you may have heard about the “Revival” at Asbury University. I attended the gatherings from the first day til now. A chapel service that didn't stop but continued spontaneously for 8 days now. It was an intimate space for students but it is now the focus of global intrigue, mass pilgrimage, and digital evaluation. I am aware that not everyone has a paradigm for this form of spirituality but I want to be honest to my own understanding.
I come from a spiritual background that has left me weary of hype in a culture of spectacle. I’ve grown tired of disintegrous representations of divine work but it is clear God is moving in a surprising and transformative way. However, when you think of “revival”, what comes to mind might not be what’s happening.
To quote Professor McCall, a theology professor at Asbury Seminary, “what we are experiencing now—this inexpressibly deep sense of peace, wholeness, holiness, belonging, and love—is only the smallest of windows into the life for which we are made.”
The movements of the spirit in western evangelicalism always exist in the middle of a cultural moment. A generous interpretation of these movements reveals unique traits for each one. For example, fervor for the great commission at the Mt. Hermon Conference, overwhelming joy in Toronto Outpouring, zeal for the lost in Brownsville Revival, acts of healing at the Kansas City awakening, and manifestation of tongues at the Azusa Street revival. In each move of the spirit, God clearly manifests in a specific way for that generation. I find it interesting that God would mark this outpouring with:
A tangible sense of peace for an generation with unprecedented anxiety.
A restorative sense of belonging for a generation amidst an epidemic of loneliness
An authentic hope for a generation marked by depression.
A leadership emphasizing protective humility in relationship with power for a generation deeply hurt by the abuse of religious power.
A focus on participatory adoration for an age of digital distraction.
It feels as if God is personally meeting young adults in ways meaningful to them. My generation was formed differently then previous generations and so the traits of this revival are different then revivals of old. The new outpouring is not the signs and wonders nor zealous intercession nor spontaneous tongues nor charismatic physicalities nor the visceral travail. It is marked by a tangible feeling of holistic peace, a restorative sense of belonging, a non-anxious presence through felt safety, repentance driven by experienced kindness, humble stewardship of power, and holiness through treasuring adoration.
It is important to reflect on the words of Jesus ”no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.”
I don’t want to make the mistake of trying to fit this new work into old paradigms. The new wine cannot be understood with the old expectations of revival.
As the revival has grown, people attempt to evaluate and participate from their old expectations. You cannot keep new wine in the old wineskin; or it may cause disappointment, disillusionment and divisiveness. In humility, we must receive the new wine with an open hand without trying to force this spiritual movement into our well intended but old expectations of renewal. We must strive to humbly participate, appreciatively celebrate, and intentional respond to this surprising work of the spirit with openness and hunger.

Israel - Day 2
I woke up this morning and wanted to go right back to sleep... I was so tried... But adventure was calling! We started our day by driving past Bethsaida where the feeding of the 5,000 took place. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop, but it was still great to see the location on the Sea of Galilee.
We then went to Gamla in the Golan Heights, which actually used to be part of Syria until 1967. There we saw ruins from a 1st century synagogue where it is highly likely that Jesus preached at. Crazy! Our tour leader John read Luke 17 and discussed how Jesus shared about the Kingdom of God, which was about allowing the reign and rule of a God in our lives, that the Kingdom of God is within us. We also got to see mustard seeds fresh off the plant itself, which was very cool. I don’t think I’d ever seen the size of a mustard seed, they are very tiny! We talked about how Jesus knew the Scriptures so well, helped by the fact that Jews memorised the whole Torah by the time they were 12. Yikes!
It was quite a steep walk down to the ruins of Gamla and back up the hill, and I was so out of breath, hot and very sweaty! Welcome to Israel in the peak of summer! As I was walking back up the path, I overheard some people from my group talking about the passage in Job 1 about how the Lord gives and takes away. I was so tired and weary that I teared up hearing them talk about it. I’m still trying to process the fact that I’m going to be away from New Zealand and the people I love dearly for quite awhile... And with the Gaza stuff going on here, my anxiety is heightened, so my emotions are definitely on edge. It hasn’t even been a week since I left New Zealand but I’m already so homesick it’s crazy. Even with all the fun things I’m doing and seeing.
After Gamla, we continued to drive through the Golan Heights to a spot where we could see the Syrian border. It was so close, it was unreal! There was even a United Nations base really close. We then drove to Mt Hermon, passing Nimrod Castle which was pretty cool. We didn’t stop but it was amazing to see. So, Mt Hermon. It is actually a mountain that is shared between Israel, Syria and Lebanon. Since it’s a mountain, in winter on the Israeli side there is a ski field! We went there today and rode the gondola up the mountain, then walked down the trail.
Luckily since the elevation is 2,000m above sea level, it was a bit cooler and there was also a lot of wind, making for great walking conditions. It was a bit scary being able to literally see both Syria and Lebanon from the walk, especially given they are both enemies with Israel. Practically, the walk was very difficult to say the least! Absolutely beautiful, but very difficult! There was lots of loose rocks and we all slid down the first part, trying not to fall on our butts. There was a boulder section where we had to climb over giant rocks. Welcome to the adventure tour!
My mum and I agreed that our good friends Rachel, Jeff and Quentin would love this hike. They’re very outdoorsy and adventurous, and would love the Biblical connections. I could picture them running ahead of the group, smiling the whole way. The best Biblical connection is that it could be the site of the transfiguration! Woah! Jesus could’ve brought Peter, James and John here, and they could’ve seen Moses and Elijah! Woah!
After our hike down the mountain, we drove past Caesarea Philippi, where sadly we didn’t get time to stop, but it is where Jesus asks his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” We then went to Dan, where there is a large natural water spring. Our Israeli guide Shlomo played us a traditional song on the recorder and John read to us from Psalm 42 which was really good.
Then we went to the border of Lebanon and got even closer than we had to Syria. Crazy! Pretty sure New Zealand travel safety websites recommend staying away from the boarders... After that we went to a secret walkway where we got an incredible view of almost the whole width of Israel, from the Sea of Galilee all the way to Mt Carmel. Apparently on a clear day you can even see the Mediterranean Sea. It is John’s favourite view in the entire country and I can see why. At this point, We hadn’t had a toilet stop for over 4hrs and weren’t going to get one for at least another hour, so, I had a loo with a view, the best loo view in my life! Haha.
Then we fiiiiiiinally got back to our hotel at like 8pm, after 12hrs of adventuring. It felt like all I did today was hike and go to enemy boarders, which is pretty much what we did. Even between stops, there wasn’t much time in to catch your breath. We didn’t even stop for lunch! Luckily I’d stashed some food in my bag from the breakfast buffet, which was so needed. I ate soooo much food today, which I needed to with all our hiking in the heat! It was surreal seeing Syria and Lebanon so close up and hearing all about their conflict with Israel over the years. Makes me very glad to be a New Zealander, where we are safe and have a functioning democracy, at least for now.
Unfortunately the conflict with Gaza is on my mind 24/7. I know I’m supposed to trust God and not fear, but I’m not very good at doing that it turns out. Rocket sirens and explosions were heard West Jerusalem today, which is where we are headed in a few days... Gaza shot rockets at both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, of which 97% were apparently intercepted by Israel, meaning no one got hurt... But I’m definitely worried about our time in Jerusalem coming up in a few days, as it’s an obvious target. Particularly the Temple Mount which we are staying very close to... The Israeli’s and American’s don’t seem to be worried at all, saying it’s just the same old same old... But that doesn’t stop me from being freaked out...
I’m trying to speak these passages over my life, heart and mind right now. Please pray that I could believe this and live it out.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41.10
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
“Aren’t five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. Indeed, the hairs of your head are all counted. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows!” Luke 12:6-7

ANIMAL PETS
It is a type of animal living with humans and includes all the types of animals that are kept as pets or domesticated. It is considered unique among the different species because they are able to interact and get along with their human caregivers in a way that no other animal can do. However, not everyone knows how to care for an animal properly and how to maintain its health condition during its long life span.

Several things on this COP27 event. It is stuff like this, that helped me realize how evil these people are, and that when I say they "worship satan", I'm not just saying it as an extreme over the top way of condemning them. This is a straight middle finger to God. They are going to this Mt to declare their allegiance to Satan in a very very bold way. I made a post a while back about the ties to where Jesus was when he declared the gates of hell will not prevail. He was at Mt Hermon. To those who don't understand the significance of that just look up Mt Hermon fallen angels. When you understand what Jesus did, you understand these people are doing. Now, remember I've been telling you these people, the bloodlines, they trace their bloodlines back to gods, to ancient babylon, Egypt, and more. So they view themselves as gods with a right to rule us. So this action right here should be waking some of you the hell up. While so many of you are caught up with republican vs democrat bullshit, these guys are taking everyone on a direct path to the battle of Armageddon. They want this fight, and the ONLY reason it hasn't happened yet, is because God hasn't let it happen. The only reason we haven't entered into the Days of Noah yet is because Michael hasn't been told to stand down and drop the restrainer, but that is coming. These people tell us and show us their intentions but people just stay stuck in the very distractions they create.
Now, all this climate garbage is a cover (and most of you reading this would agree to that extent). But what they are covering is what the plan on doing with these agendas. Look at who is all going. It's not just politicians (remember I said to be checking out iconic podcasts videos because they talk about the ngo's and their power). Catholics?!?!?! You need to wake the hell up and come out of that church. Your pope is heavily in on this. And to call yourself a Believer in God, but then push this, you are saying God is not powerful enough to regulate what we do. It's saying we as humans have more power than him and we have the capability to destroy what he created, and that he doesn't have the power to stop it. And if you think for one second God will grant you grace just because you do not agree with the pope, do you think God granted grace to the children of Israel who turned a blind eye to the idolatry going on in Israel and Judah? No he did not. God brought judgment and they were butchered or enslaved along with everyone else. You will be NO exception.
So if you're reading this and you are a lost sheep, a prodigal son or daughter, realize God has given you another day to repent and come home. He has done it for me and so many others. He does not wish to lose anyone but he will not wait forever. This agenda? This open rebellion to God is only going to get more bold. Judgement is coming whether you are ready or not.
Repent. Turn, and come home.
