Wadi Gaza
Does Gaza have a river? Yes and no. There was a river in Gaza called Wadi Gaza. Israel diverted the rainwater upstream away from Wadi Gaza and turned it into dryland. Israel also stole most of the underground water from Gaza for its own irrigation. Israel's overusage of the water for irrigation also dried up Jordan River in recent years. Israel has been stealing Palestinian water for decades and made Palestinians rely on the desalinated water from Israel while charging them a high price. If this is not pure evil, then what is it? By the way, the Sea of Galilee is drying up too because of both overusage and climate change. Wadi Gaza has turned into a sewage system, thanks to Israel.

The Sea of Galilee, known in Hebrew as /kee-'ne-ret/ or /ha-kee-'ne-ret/, holds a mirror to the skies of the Northern Israel, encased in historical splendor and natural serenity. It's more than a body of water; it's a place where history and spirituality interlace with the tranquil beauty of nature.
As Israel's largest freshwater lake, the Kinneret has been a lifeline, nurturing the land and its people for millennia. Its shores are dotted with sites of ancient and religious significance, drawing visitors who seek solace, inspiration, and a connection to the past.
For Christians, it’s a canvas of biblical narratives, where Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm.
But the Kinneret's allure isn't just historical; it’s also in the here and now. The gentle lapping of its waters against the pebbled beaches offers a calming respite from the rush of life.
The surrounding regions, with their lush greenery, are a haven for hikers, nature lovers, and those who just want to bask in the scenic beauty.
The lake also boasts of enriching the land with bountiful harvests, supporting local agriculture and fisheries. Its significance is deeply woven into the cultural and economic fabric of the country.
The Sea of Galilee is not just a destination; it’s an experience. It's where sunrises paint the sky with hues of hope and where every sunset is a moment of reflection. It’s a testament to the beauty of creation, a precious gem in the heart of Israel, ever inviting, ever serene.

Language of Flowers: Field Lily
In the language of flowers, each day has its own flower. For today, November 13, that flower is Field Lily, which signifies humility.
Image above from Wikipedia.
In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus mentioned “lilies of the field.” Tulips, poppies, daisies, and other wildflowers have been suggested as candidates for “lilies of the field.” Did tall white lilies once grow in the fields and terraces…
