people just love to lie. like there's so much wrong here that is nowhere fucking near how it is pronounced jesus christ !! Like I get that it's kind of hard to explain to someone how the 'ng' sounds (it's the same as the end of running, btw) but. then it would at least be NOH-roo-ho-ee. like most people pronounce it wrong but you're not even pretending to try here

second, that's SIR Peter Jackson to you. those movies were so phenomenal that he got knighted, so show some respect.

Tongariro Northern Circuit and Around the Mountain - Waihohonu Hut to Rangipo Hut

The third day of an epic six day hike around Tongariro National Park, an 87km loop covering the Great Walk Northern Circuit and the Around the Mountain Track. 28.02. Zweiter Tag im Tongariro Nationalpark. Heute laufen wir beim Mt. Tongariro (1968m) und Mt. Ngauruhoe (2291m). Die Mondlandschaft ist schon beeindruckend.

Neuseeland Tag 10 🇳🇿

Ein Auge 👁️ und ein Ohr auf.... ahh es regnet... da kann man sich nochmal beruhigt umdrehen und den Wecker um 6Uhr getrost ignorieren. 🥱 Gegen halb 8 haben wir das gemütliche Bettchen doch mal verlassen. Auf zum Frühstück in der Gemeinschaftsküche. Auch das Wetter wurde besser, es regnete nicht mehr und die Sonne kam etwas durch. Nach dem wir aus dem Hotel ausgecheckt hatten, begaben wir uns bei frostigen 5°C 🥶 auf Wanderschaft. Heutiges Ziel- der Taranaki Wasserfal im Tongariro Nationalpark. Nach gut 1h Gehzeit kamen wir am Wasserfall an und konnten auch endlich man den Blick über den Mt. Ruapehu 🗻 schweifen lassen, auf dem momentan immer noch Skifahrer ⛷️ unterwegs sind. Leider blieb uns aber der Blick auf den "Schicksalsberg", dem Mt. Tongariro und Mt. Ngauruhoe verwehrt. 1h Retour inkl. Aprilwetter 🌬️🌦️ und wir waren wieder am Auto. Die knapp 4,5hige Autofahrt führte uns wieder durch endlos grün-hügelige Landschaften, vorbei an duschelähnlichen Waldabschnitten 🌴 und hohen bezuckerten Bergen 🏔️, bevor wir in Wellington (Neuseelands Hauptstadt) ankamen. Da wir früher dran waren als gedacht, gönnten wir uns noch eine Fahrt mit dem 'Cabel-Car' 🚋 um die Stadt von oben anzuschauen, bevor es uns dann wieder in ein Restaurant zum Dinner verschlug. 😋 Wohl genährt gingen wir zum Hotel zurück und fiehlen endlich ins wohlverdiente Bett! 😴
