mingulay boat song, the longest johns. this one... idk what it is. the lyrics are really simple but it always makes me really emotional to hear this song, and i have not been unknown to start crying at TLJ's version. something about it really captures the sense of distance and homesicknesses and grief but ... paired a sense of community and sense of attachment to the men you're working alongside? it's a lot lol i have to listen to it sparingly.

Damn near every interaction with these two was gold, and don’t even get me started on the doll house scene. Just *chef’s kiss* beautiful.

I really hope we get more with these two. Even without shipping, their dynamic is just so much fun.

It’ll be interesting to see where their dynamic goes as Scratch continues to be Chairman. Especially with Bill and Bob mentioning that, if the whole “the one who vanquishes the Chairman becomes the Chairman” rule didn’t exist, Alister would have taken the role. It’s something that’s been scratching my brain since it was mentioned, and I really hope they do something with it.
