(negativity ahead, I'm frustrated by my experiences with android emulation and wondering if anyone knows of any that aren't obnoxious and will just let me run an apk file on my laptop)

------------------------------------------------------ Having used game console emulators since the 2000s, I am baffled by how obnoxious android phone emulators seem to be. I tried one called Bluestacks and instead of just letting me launch a game from a menu like gens+ or visualboyadvance would, it had all sorts of creepy ads and crap on it, when all I wanted to do was make videos of an android game. I've run virtual machines of other operating systems and they weren't choking in ads and visual clutter, I see no reason why android emulation has to be so sleazy when emulating Windows or a Macintosh gives you a normal computer desktop. To top it off, bluestacks refuses to let me uninstall it now. Now I'm trying one called "noxplayer" which was claimed to simple and have "no sponsored ads". First time running it, a creepy anime boobie girl ad is the first thing I see. Then I get to the main screen and it's full of crap just like bluestacks was. It feels like every android emulator I find was made by some shitty corporation trying to sell me crappy phone games full of micro-transactions and 12 year old anime prostitutes. I hope somewhere there is one made by an actual normal human that will just give me a clean blank screen where I can run a game from.

Mở file NoxPlayer vừa tải về > Nhấn vào Custom ở góc dưới bên phải màn hình để tùy chỉnh cài đặt

Nhấp vào Browse để chọn thư mục cài đặt.

Các mục khác thiết lập mặc định như số 2 trên hình.

Sau khi thiết lập xong, nhấn vào Install để cài đặt.

Chọn Reject 2 lần để không cài thêm các phần mềm khác từ NoxPlayer.

Sau đó, Noxplayer sẽ tự động cài đặt, nhấn Start để khởi động NoxPlayer.

Như vậy là đã cài đặt thành công rồi bạn nhé.

Hướng dẫn sử dụng Noxplayer

Để sử dụng Noxplayer nó cũng đơn giản. Bạn xài điện thoại được thì dùng Noxplayer như vậy thôi. Chả khác gì cả. Bạn có thể cài các app từ CHplayer hoặc các chợ ứng dụng khác. Đơn giản hơn là tải file APK về cài trực tiếp luôn.

what do you use to play arknights on the computer? I looked at the official noxplayer app and it looks like spyware, do you recommend any emulator in particular?

I use bluestacks. It’s not perfect but it works. My friend uses I think a like beta google play mobile emulator thing and she seems to like it so maybe check that out. Bluestacks does sometimes have an ad on the side if you’re like idling on the home screen, but it works for me for what I use it for

Sure! You can play it on NoxPlayer on a computer, which is kinda an phone games emulator. I use it sometimes and it works well! and my computer is bad so if it works on it then it should work perfectly on better computers

Do you know if there’s a safe way to emulate Miitomo on a desktop computer? I’m scared to jailbreak my tablet (it’s one of my most prized possessions), and I know there was an emulator for desktop at *some* point, but I’m pretty sure the specific one I used to use has been taken down (the download tutorial video was made private on YouTube)

I use Noxplayer, it works great and it's completely safe! if you have trouble, you can ask for help on the Kaerutomo discord, or you could ask me lmao. (I don't always have an answer tho)

I'm outside of the regions within the region lock so I had to get something called Noxplayer to get a app called QooApp and then get Twisted Wonderland but the thing is I updated Noxplayer yesterday cause it kept bothering me to so I did

Hi! Can you tell me what is the software or extension you used for recording Keiko's instagram live? I am trying to record it in NoxPlayer but the color of the stream turns out to be so bad, everything is yellowish.

Hello there! Sorry for the late reply. I think I have mentioned it already but I am not the one who is recording the lives without comments. Keiko's lives typically happen during my work hours so I have no way of getting to my private PC to record them. A kind follower usually does it and sends me a link.

I am simply recording the normal lives WITH comments on my iPhone using the regular iPhone screen recording function. This works perfectly fine most of the time but I had some issues during Keiko's last Instagram Live.

Good news and bad news:

Good news is, the security camera is working for the time lapse well enough and is my best option out of what is available: it has an external power source, so there's no worrying about how long the battery will last.

Bad news is, it has the most ill conceived data retrieval system possible. There's no way to just plug it in to the computer and access the recording. Plugging the SD card into the computer also yields nothing. In order to remove video, you must record it, minute by minute, to your phone or computer. Who designed that???

And there's no PC program, just the android app. AND the app didn't work with bluestacks so I had to install NoxPlayer (thankfully that worked).

Yesterday I got about thirteen hours of usable footage. Its going to take another thirteen hours to record all that to my computer. This means I won't be able to start today's recording until around noon.

Going forward I think I'll keep things to 8-10 hours of footage a day. That way things are reset and ready to go in time for the day after. Lol, what a problem to have
