Ik it’s pretty early to be asking this, especially since we didn’t even get to the point of her existing- kakuzu x Riki hc wise- but could you share some sycee hcs

I’ve had some time to think about her/what her life may be like, so I do have some headcons

Sycee named after an ignot because Kakuzu chose it.

Shortly after her birth, Riki took her to Konoha to visit her mother’s grave and claim her sword for Sycee.

She was an eerily easy baby, only fussing when she was hungry or needed to be changed

Very observant of her surroundings as a young child

Listening to the wildlife all around and people watching

That’s how she figured out their family isn’t the norm

Most mother’s aren’t mixing poisons in their kitchens/let their kids sample them and most fathers weren’t taking their daughters on bounty hunts

She was given some independence as long as she followed her parents rules; 1. Give no personal information 2. Stay out of villages 3. Always carry a weapon with her 4. Don’t hesitate to kill someone that wants to harm you 5. Don’t follow them when they’re working

She struggled making friends because of how mature she acted and her training compared to the countryside civilians. Play tag? Why? What’s the goal. Want to sword fight instead?

Her being so young and curious led her to break rules 2 and 5, which ultimately led to her being held hostage

She doesn’t remember much but the man’s blade pressing against her face, the burning pain of it cutting her flesh and the rain of blood falling on her.

The thick scent of iron while she slipped on blood soaked stones and stepping over bodies still haunt her dreams

She later learned that her life came at the cost of many innocent people that day and the guilt of that eats away at her

But after those events and her parents war path to retrieve her, Riki would bring Sycee to join Madara in the cave.

She hates being cold, the dark, and she doesn’t know her grandfather so of course she hates it

Listening to her mother and grandfather talk about these delusional ideologies and plans would frighten her

Not as much as Zetsu did though 💀 that creature can stay FAR over there

Honestly helped her develop her poker face and ability to remain silent

On one hand, she’s sure she can tell her father she wants to stay with him, but on the other she’s not old enough to hold her own and not be a burden during his hunts, so she’s essentially stuck

The only silver lining were the times her mother would take her to stay with her father which, thankfully, was a regular occurrence

When grandfather brings home a half crushed boy, she really wants nothing to do with the whole situation

But she is curious enough to watch the bandaging process

Noting how her mother’s attitude started to change after this new kid arrived

Telling her she needs to train harder and always doing that that hand fidget thing she does when lost in thought, more and more

Sycee followed her mother’s wishes and did train harder to put her at ease, but she drew the line at telling her anything she overheard

She actually easily amused and giggled whenever Obito had a little freak out before going silent again

By then, Sycee knew about the Akatsuki, her parent’s involvement, and Madara’s plans for an “ideal” world

And she wants nothing to do with it or the war it would bring. The nightmares from the aftermath of her hostage situation make it so she never wants to be responsible for the lose of innocence

She counted the days until she could claw her way out of the hellmouth she was born into

Once she was old enough, she moved to Amegakure simply to cooperate on a surface level, but avoided actually joining the Akatsuki/her parents suspicions

Working as an assassin, she takes on the worst of the worst. Earning her a reputation as someone with a death wish, but truly it’s just she can’t bring herself to kill someone who doesn’t deserve it

She even was able to make friends with a few of the working women around Ame, who get a thrill out of hearing about her missions

They gave her a copy of icha icha which she threw out her window in shock after finding out it was THAT kind of book.

She wouldn’t be self conscious about her scar anymore, but she also doesn’t like the attention and questions it brings

It’s the most free she’s felt in a long time. With the only downside being she doesn’t hear many crickets or see a lot of butterflies

Occasionally teaming up with her father, just to see him.

Often combining her wind and fire chakra’s to create large fire whirls to capture and incinerate their targets no Kakuzu isn’t happy if the body isn’t identifiable, but she’s also working here

Ignoring Hidan as much as humanly possible. As a result, he thinks she’s hard of hearing

Neither Kakuzu or Sycee correct this assumption and just share knowing glances

Or Sycee will just give him the middle finger

Why does Sycnee’s outfit look like it’s from the future? It’s giving cyber punk vibes?

Scyee’s bodysuit is modeled after Konan’s

And her coat is a mock of the akatsuki robe + Shibi’s coat (because I love it) + and Kakuzu’s mask/headwrap.

Sycee’s fashion isn’t supposed to reflect a village as she’s not truly from a village. So to set her apart, she dressed simplistic and sleek for her occupation. Add on that she’s got a bank of a father and she can purchase/tailor her clothing however she sees fit.

How does sycee feel about the respective akatsuki members

Kakuzu - caring father. Questionable person like herself

Pain/Nagato - saddened

Konan - thinks she’s kind

Tobi - rattled at what he’s become/Weary of what else he’ll do/thinks he’s better than this

Hidan - obnoxious. Next.

Sasori - reminds her of her mother oddly

Deidara - amusing. Would actually want a non exploding bird piece made by him.

Kisame - makes her laugh and smile. Big bro/heals her inner child. Would proceed to wail once she learned her was gone

Itachi - a good person who’s done some unforgivable things. But who here hasn’t

Zetsu - no.

Katsura a été dévasté après la mort de Madara, so how will Riki and Sycee react to kakuzu's death?

Riki would be angry more than anything. It’s just fueling her emotions and desire to have that perfect dream world end.

Sycee would be in disbelief because who could kill her father? But she wouldn’t allow sorrow or regret to sink in (yet). In fact, she’d look at the silver lining of not having to fight him herself as a small comfort.

There would be a time to mourn him, but that wouldn’t be before the war.

for sycee I was thinking maybe utakata (26 yrs)?

They both def didn’t live normal life’s so they could connect on that level, which is important to her.

I can also see utakata being patient with her and waiting until she feels comfortable enough since he himself has his own struggles and can therefore somewhat relate to her mindset. Also he has a calm and carefree personality which matches sycees preference for a more optimistic partner.

They’d get along really well since their both on the quieter and stoic loner side and would respect each others boundaries and weaknesses. They both just want a peaceful unproblematic life away from the cruel shinobi system/ akatsukis forced dream world. Another good quality of his is his authentic elegance and skillset since he even gets along with his tailed beast naturally.

Maybe sycee could’ve secretly sabotaged pains attempt to off utakata since she’s simply had enough of their dystopian methods and just happened to be at the right place in the right time- good for utakata. Obviously they’d had to flee immediately so they could get away from pain successfully and during that journey they’d get to know each other and utakata develops immense respect and gratitude for her. Utakata would live off the grid for his own safety and sycee would check up on him every now and then since she feels like she actually made a friend and also feels a little responsible to ensure his safety since she’s one of the very few individuals who actually know akatsukis weaknesses etc.

After the war they’d get closer and she’d eventually live with him

Also optically speaking they both give me emo vibes so that kinda matches

Helping Utakata would be highly out of character for her and a risky gamble considering she would be on the verge of acting against her mother/the akatsuki.

But if she did help him, she would only do so if she got to him well before Pain’s arrival as they can identify her easily. He would also only be given one opportunity to flee with her, she’s not going to beg or risk her life carelessly for a stranger.

And if he actually agree? I can see them being more like life long buddies than in a romantic relationship.

Could you picture sycee having a partner and if so what qualities would matter to her

Sycee is traumatized

She’s not even sure she can connect with other people who live normal lives or if she deserves one. It would take someone special to get her to think of herself as someone desirable beyond her bounty hunting or swordsmanship

What qualities matter to her:

- good penmanship. Her work has made her take notice of others handwriting and some people have more attractive handwriting than others

- patient with her. She’s got a lot of trust issues and takes a while to open up or feel comfortable with someone

- eats healthy. Her mom never let her try sweets or junk food as a kid, and she doesn’t have much of a taste for them

- preferably optimistic. She’s heard a lot of pessimism in her life, so someone who thinks there’s hope is like a breath of fresh air

- good with money. They don’t have to be rich, but they better not spend money like it grows on trees

I don't understand Kakuzu and Riki as parent. they are ready to make an entire village disappear for their daughter Sycee, but at the same time it is because of her parents that she had the Sharingan 🤧 (you still have to lose a person you love very much to have the Sharingan)

Sycee doesn’t understand them either. They save her life just to try and end it with some moon dreamworld bs? Make it make sense💀

The sharingan can be awakened through intense emotions be that through trauma or love. So while witnessing a loved one die can awaken it, it’s not the only way.

Poor sycee.. why would she fight riki tho

Riki’s Karma (being defeated by her mother’s own blade) and opposing sides (Sycee decided to fight for the allied forces/her and everyone else’s right to live their lives, even if they aren’t perfect lives)

Sycee knows words wouldn’t reach her mother and the only way she can bring her old-stuck in her ways mother to jail with her (alive) is to defeat her herself.

Is there any chance for sycee and megumi to know each other and maybe even be friends since theyre possibly peers and are both half taki women and are close with the antagonists/ outcasts of their time (akatsuki, team taka)

They may cross paths, but Sycee wouldn’t be able to be friends with someone like Megumi who didn’t have to struggle at all.

By the time she would meet Megumi; she would have learned of her father’s impossible death, lost Konan (her friend), she would have had to fight her own mother, saw her grandfather take on the shinobi allied forces after he was supposed to be dead, and survived a war.

Meanwhile Megumi had one village attack, she didn’t even experience because she was off vacationing with her family 💀

Do you think sycee’s sharingan would be the typical red or more greenish? I know you said you weren’t good with patterns but I was curious on the color!

They’re red like any other Uchiha. My reasoning; If the sharingan can turn black eyes red, I’m sure it can override green too.
