For those of who haven't watched Bojack Horseman, my god...how did you get led down the necessary passage that results in a young adult getting stabbed in the kidneys at their first Death Grips concert? But if you haven't, listen to the song from the best episode of the third (?) season anyway, it managing to be one of the more ethereal songs of the New Tens.
You ever hear a song that just makes you want to take your life into your own hands and live it to the fullest. I forget the world is really out there. Mountains exist, the oceans exist, caves actually exist. All those animals I see in documentaries actually exist. Isn’t it crazy how Whales exist?! Or poison dart frogs! Also jellyfish and just bugs and birds in general. Bugs are so small! Sometimes I like to sit outside and just watch bees. Their wings work, their teeny tiny bug limbs work, it’s insane! Birds too, any birds. Pigeons, Cardinals, vultures, they’re all incredible. Not only is the world beautiful but there’s billions of people on it. I can’t even comprehend how that many people exist but you’re one of the billion, I want to know you. Whether I speak to you just once, or we become close friends I want to know you. Humans are beautiful as well, our faces are unique, big noses, little noses, fat, thin, scarred or not, and our brains all work differently too. You may not feel special but who else has your name, was born where you were on your birthday? Of course your special! And out of those billions of people, I’m one too. You may or may not ever get to know me and I may or may not get to know you, and sometimes life is just like that, but I know that we have one thing in common. We get to live on this Earth together, as far apart as we may be. We’re here together, with a billion other people going through it as well.
