Picture this,

Serena/Calem get thrown into the past to help AZ. Within that, they realize how bad he had it and then helped him protect Floette.

Within that, the trainer meets the key ancestors of Augustine Sycamore, Wikstrom, and Olympia. I believe their ancestors are going to play a major role.

Please stop saying we need Mega Charizard Z. We need Mega Froslass and Mega Slowking before any of that. Plus, then you gotta somehow justify Mega Mewtwo Z, and this game presumably takes place decades before Mewtwo was ever created! In fact, I still fail to understand to this day how Mewtwo ever got not one, but TWO Mega forms! Like, its Mega Stones would HAVE to be artificial just like Mewtwo itself, so I’m forced to conclude that the Kalos Mewtwo is a separate entity from the Kanto one (Adventures notwithstanding)! Otherwise, make it make sense!

I just had a funny idea:

Pokemon Legends: ZA's gameplay is based on Sims City and similar games. Since Lumiose City is apparently going to get renovated.

Given that it's a "Legend" title, I think we're going to be playing in Kalos' past, like it happened with Sinnoh and Hisui in Legends: Arceus. The first trailer's futuristic look doesn't have to mean it's going to play in the future.

That said. I also love the idea that maybe there'll be two states of time the players can switch between: Past and present / future.

Okay, after looking into it. I'm thinking my one theory of reconstructing Lumiose City was wrong. Now that I'm rewatching the trailer, I'm seeing it as a blueprint more than redoing Lumiose.

So what if I was right in a sense, yeah? What if we DO help AZ, but not in the way I thought of him being. What if we help the “King of Kalos” build Lumiose city from the ground up. But due to the impending Pokémon war, we end up having to take on Olympia's ancestors as well as N's ancestor. It sounds pretty good to me considering the "A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon. Please look forward to seeing it for yourself.​​"

What if it WAS like I had my theory? I swear I'll post it later, 😭 I got super upset yesterday because some weirdo screamed in my ear which made me start shaking and upset so I had to take it easy after I got home yesterday evening. Sorry for that.

I know it’s only been a couple days, but I’m gonna try shooting my shot at the Legends Z-A starters:

Snivy evolves into a Grass/Steel-type Serperior, based on Louis XIV, specifically his title as Sun King. I figure if the Steel-type Solgaleo is based on the sun, then Steel is an acceptable type for sun motifs as well.

Litten evolves into a Fire/Fairy Incineroar based on Puss in Boots. Puss in Boots was a fairy who tricked a princess into marrying his master.

Piplup evolves into a Water/Dragon Empoleon based on… what else? Napoleon Bonaparte. I didn’t want to reuse Water/Dark again, since that’d become the new Fire/Fighting otherwise, but as for why else I went Dragon, I thought it had more of an imperial connotation, which is inportant given Napoleon was the French Emperor. Plus, if a palm tree can be a dragon, why not an emperor penguin?
