What is going on?
The Meghans bullied Charles's parents into an early grave. Now Catherine is ill because Charles won't discipline his darling boy and that daughter in law from hell.
The press knows Catherine never had a discussion with Sparry (or anyone) about his future children's physical characteristics and yet Catherine took the blame for Camilla.
They have been relentless in the bullying of a sick woman who was far more OPEN about her medical situation than the king in his two (2) sketchy press releases, but the press suddenly has glowing stories about Charles and his positive influence on Catherine.
Charles hasn't spoken about his own cancer, but he's taking credit for Catherine's courage and strength.
Not a peep out of BP while Catherine was supposedly AWOL, but suddenly they have "stories" to share.
Oh and no man is wandering around the wards of any hospital (even VIP) with a foley catheter inserted into his penis while his bloody urine is collected in a plastic baggie just to have heart to heart conversations with his daughter in law on the 1 of 3 days he's lucid. 🙄
Make it make sense.

The first sign that there was going to be a PR fiasco regarding The Prince & Princess of Wales was back on 26 March 2023. Almost a year ago.
And what happened then?
Oh, yeah, the "ball-breaking" new private secretary Kate had selected for the job suddenly decided she no longer wanted the job. Huh?
The “straight talking” PR guru hired as the Princess of Wales’s new private secretary has opted to stay with chef Jamie Oliver rather than take up the role, The Telegraph can reveal. Alison Corfield, 51, is understood to have been uncomfortable with the prospect of having such a high-profile position and decided instead to remain under the radar.
Huh? How could she not understand the job was going to be "high-profile"? How?! She would have known that before any discussions took place about actually hiring her.
“She loves the work and is an integral member of the campaigning team. “She decided she just wanted to keep her head down and get on with the job she knows so well in the background. She didn't want the publicity that comes with working at that level for such a well-known institution.”
Tumblr media
Nope. It doesn't make sense, particularly when you think of all the PR fuckups that have happened in the last few months.
Because Kate having a private secretary who had a reputation in handling pr would have been quite the asset in a situation that has been unfolding right now.
A source who worked with Corfield on Oliver’s campaigns, said: “She’s a ball-breaker, a real straight-talker, very passionate, dynamic and genuinely funny. She makes things happen and will really push things forward at the palace.”
That doesn't sound like someone who would have been intimidated by working a more public job. Most people don't even know who private secretaries are to begin with.
What seems more likely at this point is that the Alison Cornfield realized she was going to clash heavily with the communications team headed up by Lee Thompson. Alison has a background in public relations (pr). It's not surprising that she would have different opinions on how to handle things regarding public communications.
And Alison--as Kate's private secretary--would not out rank the communications secretary. She would be in a situation where she had to fight constantly with with the head of communications and be losing those battles due to rank. Because the head of communications, Lee Thompson, reports up to William & William's private secretary. He may officially report up to both William & Kate, but, as I said earlier today, Kate is not on equal footing with William in the hierarchy.
Tumblr media
This man's job should already have been on the chopping block. He should have resigned or been fired yesterday. No reports that has happened yet. Sounds like he's still working at KP. Still throwing Kate under the bus!
Look at this illustrious career:
Tumblr media
In less than two years, this man has decimated the once sterling reputation of The Princess of Wales. You know, the reputation that her fans take pride in, and what keeps her up at the top of the YouGov polls.
And with what happened yesterday, it has taken a huge drop.
And with further events that are coming up, it will take an even bigger drop.
And cause her husband to also be humiliated and have his reputation ruined.
And yet Lee Thompson still has his job right now.

The hospital heart-to-hearts that brought Kate and King even closer
by Roya Nikkhah
A source close to Charles said: “The King has always had a close, warm and unique relationship with the princess. She has a great love and respect for him and his position. When they were in hospital together there was a lot of toddling down the corridor to spend time with her. He has been encouraging and supporting her throughout.”
With both families fighting serious illness, some of the oldest tensions have fallen away. William and Camilla, whose relationship was strained for many years, have also become closer. The two have been in regular phone contact in recent weeks.
Not all relationships are as easy to heal, however. The tighter bond between the King’s family and his heir’s only highlights the wide gulf remaining between the Waleses and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whose Californian exile seemed further away than ever on Friday.
It is understood that Kate’s cancer diagnosis was not shared in advance with Harry and Meghan, whose short statement soon after the announcement said: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.” A Kensington Palace spokesman would only say: “We do not comment on private conversations.”
However, several sources confirm that there were no such conversations and it is thought Harry found out about Kate’s diagnosis from television, at the same time as the public.
In truth, Kate’s decision to go public in the way that she did flowed from her concerns, not about the royal family but about her relationship with the public.
“It allowed her to speak directly to the public who, overwhelmingly, have always been with her and her family and who don’t buy into the noise and gossip,” said a close friend. “It was all her, she wrote every word of it, it came together very quickly.”
Friends last week told The Sunday Times that William and Kate “planned to be more open and honest” about her condition: “They will want to be clear and more open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready. I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They’re not going to be rushed.”
But her candour in delivering a video message with so much detail about how she and William have processed the news and handled it with their children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, surprised even those closest to her. “I didn’t expect this,” said a close friend who Kate turned to for advice when she had decided to make the statement.
The timing was determined by Kate’s keenness to quell further speculation about her health and her marriage, since her cancer diagnosis meant she would not be returning to royal duties as quickly as expected. “What had shifted in the last few weeks was the sense that she felt: ‘I’m not going to have a normal return to work after Easter that everyone is expecting,’ and everyone was anticipating some kind of update around Easter.”
More profoundly, Kate felt a duty to share her condition with the public to offer hope and solidarity for others experiencing the same challenges and to reassure the world that she is “well and getting stronger every day”.
The friend said: “It wasn’t really about the drama of the last few weeks, though obviously that has been upsetting. She felt she had to do it because of who she is. It was more that she knows she is a public figure and has a wider leadership responsibility. She knew she had to share the news because of how it was going to affect her work and her short-term future role, and [it was about] what was the most compassionate way she could deliver the news, so that it would land with the public in the least shocking way.
“A written statement, she felt, would be too jarring. It was about people seeing her, and her reassuring people that she was positive about it. Knowing it was news that was going to shock people, she wanted to do it as compassionately as possible. When things are really tough, that gratitude to the public for their support is their mantra.”
There were two other motivations. “She also wants to be able to carry on with as active and normal a routine as possible and not have it become a huge issue when she goes to a farm shop near their home in Windsor, with people then suggesting that’s a PR move. Moving forwards, they will be very strict on enforcing their right to privacy.”
But the greatest concern and top priority was Kate and William’s three children: the couple wanted to avoid an announcement while they were still at school. Lambrook School broke up for the Easter holidays on Friday afternoon, at the same time the media were told by Kensington Palace of Kate’s imminent announcement. “George is ten now and can’t be shielded from any of this now,” a palace source said. “Once it’s at the school gate and in the school playground, he won’t be able to avoid it.” The children do not return for the summer term until April 17.
Some friends of Kate are also frustrated that she felt the need to be so frank, in part to quell the (often wildly inaccurate) rumours that have been swirling about her on social media. “Catherine’s message was so honest,” a friend said. “Isn’t it sad that she has to be so honest and share that because of all the nonsense that has been around? I feel like the whole world has been gossiping about her and there is so much bullshit out there about her and her family. It was almost desperate that she had to do it.”
Her announcement also illuminates the dynamic between the Prince and Princess of Wales. While William was closely involved in Kate’s decision, it was one he dearly wished she had not felt compelled to make. “She did it with his full support and advice, he joined all the conversations around it,” a close friend said. “On every level he wishes she didn’t have to do it. But it was her decision, it wasn’t begrudged and he fully supported it.”
Some commentators questioned, on social media, why William wasn’t sitting with Kate when she made her shock announcement. “This was her as a strong woman sharing an innately strong message to the nation. She didn’t need anyone sitting next to her,” said a royal source. “He has been supporting her and the family in the background.”
Those close to William speak protectively of the prince, who lost his mother when he was only 15 and must now confront a situation where he and Kate have three small children of their own and where their mother’s health is part of the public discourse. “Undoubtedly what has happened to him in his life [with his mother] has led him into the protection mode he is in now,” said a friend. An aide said: “All he wants to do is protect his wife and children. The family just want to go away for Easter, spend time together, the five of them, close off from the world and move on.”
Those close to the Windsors are keen to play down any wider constitutional significance. “People need to calm down, take a medium-term view here, batten down the hatches and realise that the princess is positive, the King is positive and they will work together to come through it. In a decade, the younger generation will be out doing their thing. This is still a family fulfilling its duties.”
Insiders are also keen to quash any suggestions that the King’s cancer treatment would see him permanently withdraw from public life. In fact, planning is already under way for Charles to start to “ramp things up” from early summer. The King is “hoping” to attend an Easter Day service at Windsor next Sunday. William and Kate will be absent, but aides say Kate may attend some engagements in the coming weeks if she feels well enough. She will not return to full public duties until cleared to do so by her doctors.
William’s household is equally optimistic about the durability of the monarchy. “From the Prince of Wales’s perspective, he has looked to balance his private life supporting his family and his public life quite successfully for the last couple of months, and he will continue to do so,” said an aide. In that, he has the support of both his father and his wife, bonded tighter than ever by hospital heart-to-hearts and their determination to overcome cancer.

Roya Nikkhah wrote an article for The Times and here are the most interesting points.
The Waleses and Sussexes will exchange gift for their children: Believe it or not, the Waleses and the Sussexes are exchanging Christmas gifts this year.
In the absence of goodwill between the couples, William and Kate will not deprive three-year-old Archie and Lilibet, one, of a present under the tree. And in one royal tradition that Team Sussex is still on board with, Harry and Meghan have also dispatched gifts for George, Charlotte and Louis, who are nine, seven and four. There will be no presents exchanged between the adults.
About Meghan not receiving any help about how everyone works: It can also be revealed that six months before the couple married in May 2018, Harry’s then private secretary, Ed Lane Fox, known as “Elf”, presented Meghan with a 30-point dossier, studiously researched, brimming with information and contacts for the life she was taking on. It covered fashion, the royal family and the constitution, the institution’s heads of department, ladies-in-waiting, arts in the UK, the Charity Commission and public life. Each section suggested an expert who could help Meghan.
“It was huge, the amount of work Elf put into getting her access to anyone, and he gave her books on the stuff,” a source said. It is understood that Meghan took up just two meetings with the suggested experts, one with Sir Christopher Geidt [now Lord Geidt], the late Queen’s private secretary, and another with a “very well-connected, trusted fashion person” for advice on clothes.
About Meghan blaming the palace of not being able to invite her niece: All of which is a myth, say impeccably placed royal sources of the decision to have only one family member, Meghan’s mother Doria, on their wedding guest list of 650 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. “That just didn’t happen,” a source said of Meghan’s account. “We never gave any advice, steer or guidance on who of her family or friends should or shouldn’t come to her wedding. I have a very clear memory of her [Meghan] saying that she had a niece who she would in other circumstances have liked to invite, but she didn’t want to invite her because it would have put her under intense scrutiny. It was not a question she put to us. We would never tell her not to invite her own niece to the wedding and we would never get involved in any management of personal relationships.”
Another royal source confirmed: “Harry had concerns that Meghan had no family at the wedding which would look weird. Meghan didn’t want the media to know about Ashleigh. No one on earth would have said don’t invite family to the wedding. That’s a complete and utter lie. We wanted more family there to make it look less weird for her.”
About the engagement Interview: A source involved with the interview said everything went according to Meghan’s script: “Every word of that interview was what they wanted to say. She controlled every micro-detail of how their engagement publicly went.”
About what harry said about the men in the family marrying women who fit the mould: An old friend of both brothers said: “That was so cheeky, that’s a love match if ever there was one. Catherine doesn’t even fit the mould — she’s not an earl’s daughter or blue-blooded. The sadness is Harry was so close to Catherine.”
Another close friend of the royal family, who saw the King on Thursday when Harry & Meghan aired, said: “It is so awful. What on earth are they doing? I want to say to them: ‘Think of your futures. Think of how you may regret this in years to come.’
On what William has allegedly said about the reality show: However loaded the missiles, William has instructed friends not to retaliate: “William does not want us fuelling the conflict, he’s been very clear on that. He’s keen to have as much of a normal week as possible.” Another friend has given him sage advice: “I reminded him to keep his rifle pointed at the target and not to be distracted, even though it’s all f***ing tedious in every sense of the word.”
On Friday a source close to the Waleses said William was “on great form” and “looking to the future” as he chatted to winners of his Earthshot Prize from his family home, Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, and worked with Kate on projects for next year. “They know the British people expect them to roll their sleeves up and get on with the job.”

Not to be all Wales stan, but Diana was William's mom too and I really want to know how he feels about the Roya Nikkhah piece gloating about how Camilla "won Game of Thrones" literally over Diana's dead body. Maybe he thinks nothing of it? This seems like a similar piece to the Prince William article she wrote two years ago, just more ego-stroking propaganda passing as journalism.
The article is just as terrible as you'd guess and it's obviously palaced sanctioned since named friends (Marchioness of Lansdowne, for example) of Camilla and staff like her former private secretary are quoted.
The article tries to pull at your heartstrings with just how hard it was for poor Camilla during the 90s but she was just so darned resilient and "rose above" the mean, nasty people condemning her.
Oh, but Camilla is also graceful. Even though she did "win" over Diana, she's still humble enough to not want to overshadow the Princess's memory. She didn't attend the 10th Anniversary Concert for Diana because that would have been a PR move that generated more criticism than not attending. It doesn't matter what people think, she's with the man she loves.
But Camilla isn't just naturally empathetic, she's also "the operator" with a steely resolve and a savvy nature suited for court life. When Charles's cash-for-access scandal broke the front pages, it was Camilla who ousted Michael Fawcett, chief executive of the Prince's Foundation. She was merciless in chasing him out the door: WOW!
Camilla and Charles are truly a love match that has endured the years, Camilla understands how to truly make him happy. When they were in Germany last month, humble Camilla graciously allowed Charles to soak in all the limelight when they walked on separate sides of the road. This is something egotistical temptress Diana never would have done. Ignore this, though.
With PR pieces like this, what is there to love about Camilla? Literally, what is there to like about her?

And in today's edition of
Tumblr media
we see the smattering of articles proclaiming that Kate is super duper close with King Charles III.
Roya Nikkhah's article in The Sunday Times over the weekend:

Have I made my point yet that Roya Nikkhah gets a LOT of EXCLUSIVES from Kensington Palace yet?
Well, here's one more just to get it the message through:

And now KP has briefed US media about this relationship:

This is unquestionably organized by Kensington Palace comms team.
I have no doubt that Kate will be on the cover of People magazine in the US this week with inside details about how Charles & Kate are besties.
I know why this is happening, and it's because there is some upcoming news that won't make Kate look so good. Gotta have these articles on hand for people to refer to once the news hits.

Follow up comment to Roya Nikkhah's article manifesting by Harry-- just to clarify, Roya Nikkhah published that article in The Times and Buckingham Palace was quick to publicly deny on the record that the Royal Family was looking into getting Harry a residence in the UK (e.g. Kensington Palace). Harry's trying to get Charles to cave into his demands and so far Charles is refusing to comply. I'm surprised Charles has said NO on the record to Harry's demands via Roya Nikkhah's Times article.
Hi Nonny,
Thank you. I referred to this exact article earlier today in a reply (I think - I get confused about which article is which), so it is good to know that the palace has denied the claims of giving Harry a UK residence.
I am surprised and pleased that King Charles found the strength to say a public No to Harry. Not that his word is 100% secure - he did lie to us for years about Camilla being Princess Consort and not Queen - but it is nice to see, however fleeting my cynical side thinks it might be.
I am wondering what is going on behind the scenes for these sorts of articles to be coming out. They are manifestation by Harry articles, I do believe that, but why now? I am wondering if this is part of something bigger that is going on, hidden from the general public.

Roya Nikkhah acting like her claiming Harry being uninvited to the coronation is going to hurt him, when really all it does is free him to be with his son on his birthday...

as per Roya Nikkhah, the Prince of Wales will resume a full diary of engagements after spending half-term in Norfolk with his family and father. At the Commonwealth Day service next month, the Queen will represent the King, but still being discussed is whether William will read out Charles’s Commonwealth message.
