--- anyways, so i know i haven't been around much in the last month or so. i've been dealing with a lot of personal issues and my job picked up so the hours there have been hectic. in addition, there was...a thing here that i guess really stung so it took me a second to sort of deal with that. mentally. but.

--- hoping to maybe get back into the swing of things and apply some mental energy here again. i've purged (not necessarily purged, but. trimmed my muse list to a manageable state) and adjusted some shipping status' on my muses so feel free to go back and peek through them if you'd like.

More late night Helena thoughts

I love how she knows her killing is wrong, she understands that it’s wrong against the moral code she was raised with, but she still does it because she has no other thing that is herself.

Like yes she has The Doctor but she has it in her head that if she slips up at all, at any time of her life, she will lose them. She thinks they will abandon her as soon as she becomes to much of a killer, that they will find a planet to dump her on and leave.

Like those months living in New York’s alleyways River Song in 1969-1970 had changed Helena, no matter what face or AU she’s in/has. Her years with Kovarian and how Kovarian trained her still affect her.

And she will never be able to run away from it at all.

Hey! Haven't seen you around in a couple days, how's it going? Everything good?

Hey! ^^ It has been a hot second since I’ve bounced around on here and I do apologize for that. My mental health took a pretty harsh and sudden decline that I anticipated was coming—however, I didn’t prepare for how bad of a toll it was going to take on me. It hasn’t been a very fun week for me and my brain, to say the least.

I’m starting to do better, though! I won’t sugarcoat it, it’s rough and I’m still struggling quite a bit. I’m slightly at a loss of words right now because I’m still very overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings. But fingers crossed that I’ll be able to start posting again soon and then get back into my writing groove once more. :)

Thanks for reaching out, Anon!! Your concern (I assume?) is appreciated and hopefully, that clears things up <3 (Sorry for taking so long to respond!)

Siblings Reunited, Part 3

In the Steamworks, workmen ran everywhere, supplies, paintbuckets, tools and whatever else they would need stashed in their arms. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as they looked at the engine they all had been working so hard on. "We're almost ready to start on your paintwork! Any requests?" A workman asked, standing beside Polly. The express engine pursed her lips in thought for a moment. "British Rail Brunswick Green with orange and black lining, please." The workman blinked. "Brunswick, huh? I'll try and get some in. All we have readily on hand is NWR Apple green!" He grinned, rushing off to place the request. Polly smiled, watching them all rush about. "I still can't believe how quickly you all have brought me back from the brink of death. An engine in my condition would have taken absolutely YEARS to repair and rebuild! Especially considering they dont make parts for us A3s anymore.." That gained the attention of a nearby worker, who just beamed. "We at the Sodor Steamworks pride ourselves in getting our engines back on the line as soon as possible! We've been working in shifts around the clock, all day every day, trying to get you back in operational condition in time for August. Thankfully, we have Gordons blueprints on hand already, so we can make you new parts based off that. Granted we have had to make some adjustments, seeing as Gordon is technically an A1/1 Gresley/Stanier hybrid after a 1939 rebuild.." Polly looked worried at that. "Oh dear.. I hope that hasnt slowed you down too much. I do hope my repairs and recertifications get finished in time.. I can't wait to see Gordons face when i surprise him come August!" She beamed, her eyes alight with excitement. "We're working as fast as we can. Its going to be a time crunch, definitely, but we'll pull it off. Besides, we've gotten alot of help from the Mainland, too. Thats definitely helped to speed things up." The workman gently patted Polly's buffer, before rushing away again. "Just a little longer, Polly.. August is almost here." The engine told herself, looking out a nearby window.

i hate a forced romance oml. The book I’m reading has a really unnecessary romance plot that feels like it develops far too quickly, and will likely be used as a “our love is so powerful that it unites the feuding clans” type thing. Oh and the clans? Obvious plot twist. It’s right there.

Also, main girl lead? Love her, but she has repeatedly stated that “I’m not used to feeling this love” or “I’m not used to kissing” making the entire thing feel like this boy she’s known for a full 72 hours is the one to “fix” her.

so many unfounded, stupid, common gripes. Sorry for that
