Zij vertellen die dag over alles wat daarbij komt kijken, van gezondheid tot verzorging en van revalidatie tot opvang.
Ambities op het gebied van dierenwelzijn
Gemeente Roosendaal wil ervoor zorgen dat alle dieren binnen de gemeentegrenzen gezond zijn en een goed leven hebben. Dit geldt zowel voor dieren met een eigenaar, als voor dieren die in het wild voorkomen. De ambitie luidt dan ook: bijdragen aan het behouden en, waar noodzakelijk, verbeteren van het welzijn van zowel gehouden dieren als in het wild levende dieren binnen de gemeentegrenzen van Roosendaal.
Bewustwording op het gebied van dierenwelzijn
Om dit te realiseren werken we samen met partners die experts zijn op het gebied van dierenwelzijn. Van een Dierenambulance tot de Egelopvang en van dierenartsen tot de dierenpolitie. Daarnaast zijn we voor een groot deel afhankelijk van onze inwoners. De gemeente Roosendaal start daarom dit jaar met een bewustwordingscampagne. Want alleen wanneer inwoners weten wat dierenwelzijn inhoudt en hoe zij hieraan een positieve bijdrage kunnen leveren, kunnen we samen het verschil maken.
