I'm happy that Kazuki, Rei, and Miri are going to become a family once again, a real one at that. But I'm still shocked they offed Miri's mom so fast. It left a really bitter taste in my mouth.

I did not hate her, sure I had mixed feelings about her when she suddenly came, asked to take Miri away from Kazuki and Rei after both of them tried their best to raise Miri for the past year. She was also the same woman who sent her daughter alone to Miri's human trafficker father, told Kazuki she never wanted to see Miri anymore, and I had my own doubts as well because maybe she only came after Kyu-chan's warning?

But in the beginning of episode 11, we see her genuinely trying to become a better mother for Miri. I don't think Miri's mom is a bad mother (aside from sending her daughter to that kind of father part) since when Miri was with Kazuki and Rei, she only talked positive things about her mother, how she was a good singer, how she made a delicious hamburger steak, etc. and Miri seems to be having a good childhood prior meeting with Kazuki and Rei.

Maybe during the time she was raising Miri alone, she felt everything she did for Miri was forced? She never planned to have Miri after all, and her baby daddy did not get involved at all - not even sending a tiny bit of money even though he was rich. She was struggling and frustated, and she felt that she was forced to take care and love Miri. I think she still prioritized herself before Miri at that time, like how she blamed Miri for her careers, etc. Hence, at some point she was sick of it and sent Miri to her baby daddy. She probably knew that her baby daddy was a human trafficker, totally not a good person, but she couldn't think clearly and the only better option was him. He had money, he could buy anything easily. Misaki on the other hand seems to be struggling with money.

But after she has lost everything, she finally knew the only thing that's most important to her was her daughter. Now, I've seen a lot of soap opera with the same plot, mostly the bad husband suddenly turned back to his ex wife after losing all his glory. Misaki probably felt the same. And she was starting to regret how she treated her daughter before. She still took a good care of Miri back then, but maybe she felt forced thus why she gave minimum effort in raising her (like buying cheap hamburger steak from the convinience store).

With the scene where she tried to cook better for Miri, she was shown to be genuinely trying to change. And I was shocked when, after she was trying to become a better mother, Ogino had to offed her. (Not to mention, he did came after Miri as well. A literal child!)

Sure, her absence allowed Kazuki and Rei reunite with Miri, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Maybe it is expected from a series with the protagonists being hitmen and trying to escape from it while making their own family...

Misaki's such a complicated character and it's amazing though I get why people dislike her (I had my doubts on her too), I can't believe they offed her so fast.

Now sifting the focus to Ogino, the bastard who took Misaki's life, Mr. "I want to write your last words in my book." I want Kazuki and Rei to come after that man so bad... That man also took Kazuki's wife and child's lives away and I'm also surprised it never been brought up in the series, as of now.

This is getting long. In conclusion, I cannot be satisfied yet because 1) Misaki's gone (how would Miri react😭), 2) Ogino and Rei's dad still watching after Kazuki, Rei, and Miri. I need them to do something about Ogino and Rei's dad in the next episode, because I don't think Rei's dad would allow them to run away.
