Assistant Thrawn is happy to help the always-working @myevilmouse! He will say goodbye on the phone for a few moments, and he is all yours!
But ahem, boss-lady, you must discipline your employee! That's one of a messy table, and snacking this openly during work hours!! I'm sure she can figure out some way to teach him a lesson!  🤭😏

So I haven’t been keeping up with Mando S3 at all but I had to go and watch the Shadow Council scene because oh man.
Oh ho ho man.
I love it????
It’s just so delightfully late 90s Legends EU ham and cheese with all the quarreling Imperial warlords in holoconference together bickering about where to spend their limited resources and infighting about who’s going to be heading up the Imperial Remnant.
Palleon desperately reassuring everyone, “Not to worry, Thrawn’ll be back soon and he’ll have a plan, ha ha ha, no for real guys promise, he’s totally coming!”
Gideon snarking back like, “SURE WOULD BE NICE TO SEE HIM OCCASIONALLY.”
Project Necromancer, AKA what I assume is Sequel Trilogy rehabilitation.  An admirable effort on the showrunners’ part, some kudos deserved there. (Though I’m one of the people who thinks the sequels are unsalvagable I do admire other writers’ efforts to at least try.)
And all around just the juiciest plot developments to marinate over.
I’ve not made it a secret that I am resistant and actively hostile towards any efforts to lionize Thrawn or downplay him as a villain so this was yet more petty vindication on my end, with his return to leading the Imperial Remnant implied to be all but a foregone conclusion.
With Ahsoka title-dropping Heir To The Empire in her show’s trailer and this scene confirming general plot ideas from that Legends series I am definitely a lot more intrigued by what exactly Thrawn has been up to in the interim.
What did you do to my blueberry son, you bastard?
My prevailing theory?  It actually comes from a bit of Thrawn’s dialogue with Nightswan in the first new canon book:
“Perhaps I have a more optimistic view of my fellow beings than you do.  So you consider tyranny to be a bulwark against evil.  For how long?”
“Explain.”
“How long will you accept tyranny as a necessary part of Imperial rule?” Nightswan asked.  “Until all resistance is silenced?  Until all evils are vanquished?”
“Perhaps your optimism is not as strong as you claim,” Thrawn said.  “The tone of a government is set by its leader.  But Emperor Palpatine will not live forever.  When it comes time for his authority to be handed to another, my position as a senior officer will allow me to influence the choice of that new leader.”
Basically, I think Thrawn still wants to have some control over who it is that will take over the infrastructure, supplies, scaffolding, and heirarchy of what remains of the Empire, so he can direct the machine more favorably towards his own interests and the interests of the Ascendancy.
Ultimately arriving at the conclusion of course that it’s himself. :)
The only other burning question is of course where has Ezra been in all of this and like I’ve said before, I hope he’s being a lovely thorn in Thrawn’s side and annoying the absolute crap out of him.
We’ll see!

GET TO KNOW THE MUN.
respond to the prompts out of character!
what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have? Hard to say. I gravitate towards obscure and tertiary characters because of the freedom that gives me to develop them beyond what we were given, but I also have some characters who have A LOT of lore (Obi-Wan, Luke, Leia, Han) because of how much information there is to pick from. I guess something else that most of my muses have in common is that they are, to different degrees, confident and passionate about whatever goals they have, no matter how different those goals might be or how different their alignments are. They might not be too sure about who they are as individuals, but they know where they stand, they know the role they play, and they're either embracing it or actively rejecting it.
is there anything you don’t like to write? There's a few. A big one is smut for the sake of smut and violence for the sake of violence, for both I need a certain amount of plotting and some kind of chemistry between the muses + understanding with the other mun of how things might go. Cheating plots are a huge no, I don't want my muses to cheat nor to get cheated on. Obviously incest, non-con, anything involving bathroom stuff in the bedroom. Also I don't enjoy writing one liners-single paragraph replies, the shortest I can give is 2 paragraphs without counting dialogue lines and even that is super rare.
is there anything you really enjoy writing? I love fleshing out dynamics that didn't exist in canon (e.g: Han and Dryden, Maulkiller and Maul, Myles and Din, Koska and Paz, Roan and Anakin, Nuru and Thrawn) or didn't get explored as much as they could have because they were more background dynamics (e.g: Quinlan and Agen, Sabé and Anakin, Garen and Obi-Wan, Medrit and Boba, Bossk and Jango, Elodore and Dooku). I also love writing the scenes in between, the things we didn't get to see but that could have led to how things went.
how do you come up with headcanons? I look at a character and focus on the gaps in the story. Be it a blank in the plot like what Sabé's family life was like for her to so quickly and happily leave them behind and never look back, or something small like what about hoi-broth makes Obi-Wan have such dire allergic reactions (it's the oxidized spices).
do you write in silence or do you play music? either with instrumental/repetitive music or with some random YouTube video (analog horror and AITA compilations are very useful for this lately) in the background. A personal favorite for writing or Under Giant Trees by Agnes Obel.
do you plan your replies or wing them? I plot them a bit. First, I figure out what my character would do and say in response to what my partner's reply said, if it's a longer reply I even do bullet points, and then I actually put it into words.
do you enjoy shipping? I love shipping. Romantic, platonic, familial. It's all awesome!
what’s your alias/name? Mica.
age?  23.
birthday? October 29th.
favorite color?  Green, red, purple.
favorite song?  Zombie by The Cranberries.
last movie you watched?  Diary of the Dead by George A Romero.
last show you watched?  The Simpsons.
last song you listened to? Ainsi Bas La Vida by Indila.
favorite food?  Rice and tuna with butter and cheese.
favorite season?  Spring.
do you have a tumblr best friend? I have a few. Tanya (corruptedforce), Vani (galaccias) and Luna (foundjarin) have been here since my humble beginnings. Break (mutatiio) is a more recent addition but I'm just as attached. Cato (monstarousmythos) isn't in this fandom but has put up with me through it and through so many other fandoms, and then there's Liz (nieithryn) and Viktor (@virulentmastermind) who I've been talking to a lot lately and really enjoy our conversations. Special mention to Dylan, who -while most of our interactions happen on discord- first interacted with me through Tumblr and I wouldn't be this deep into Star Wars roleplay if it wasn't for them being the first nice experience I had in this RPC.
TAGGED BY: Stolen from @nieithryn.
TAGGING: @galaccias, @corruptedforce, @d4gangera, @monstarousmythos, @mutatiio, @k4ssa, @tacticalvalor, @foundjarin.

Round 10 of Star Wars bullshit/shitposty headcanons: we’ve hit double digits ladies and gentlemen.
Enjoy!
-Padme and the handmaidens had sleepovers where they are junk food and watched trashy holo-comedies 100%.
-Obi-Wan is a better athlete than Anakin but lets him win because he knows the kid is selfconscious about his abilities because of the chosen one prophecy. However Anakin and Ahsoka are the only exceptions to his hyper competitive nature. He will destroy anyone else at any sports based activity.
-Luke Skywalker lives off freezer nuggets and fries because he can’t cook properly.
-Fenn Rau is Scottish, so any clone that took pilot training understands an angry Scottish accent. Many of those ended up with the 212th, and Obi-Wan only figured out they understood properly when he had a rant under his breath and half the troopers around him started crying with laughter.
-Chopper used to be in charge of making Jacen’s cot at night, and sometimes he’d use one of Kanan’s shirts instead of a pillowcase so that the kid would know how his father smelt. Hera would curl up in the cot on these nights so they could almost feel like a complete family for a bit.
-The Clones have a tiktok/vine account.
-Jesse and Kix hoard blankets basic medical supplies for clones that are afraid to go to the med bay. They’ll fix them up in the barracks as well as they can, and if it’s serious Kix will just drug them as a last resort. They’ve used this strategy on more commanders and Jedi than they’re willing to admit.
-Thrawn hates being interrupted, but as an alien in the Empire he tends to keep him mouth shut about it. Back home? He has on more than one occasion slapped Thrass or told Ar’alani to shut up when they cut him off. Eli laughs everytime it happens and will always bring it up as a joke to Thrawn later, but never actively interrupts Thrawn after the Chiss told him how much it infuriated him.
-Fenn Rau is shredded and no one can figure out how or why. It’s actually because the other clone trainers roasted him for sitting down all day so he got buff out of spite.
-Thrawn has a cowboy hat the Eli finds...enjoyable.
-Finn is every resistance members first choice to babysit because the kids love him and he loves hanging with the kids. He is the hide and seek champion on the base.
-Faro has so many gay thoughts for Ar’alani that Eli will have to go over any brief she gives with Faro again later because not one word of that is going in. Head empty, only pretty blue lady.
-Clones play capture the flag paintball. 501st are reigning champs because they’re feral and no one can compete with that.
-The Rebels frequently roast Kallus over his ISB helmet cos it looks like cheese.
-All of the clones can sing well. (This is a public service announcement for clone/boba/Jango simps to check out temeura Morrison’s album on Spotify cos it proves this as canon.) 79’s Karaoke nights result in a lot of business. Especially when Alpha-17 gets drunk and breaks out the ABBA for Shaak-Ti.
That’s all for part 10, my Star Wars hockey team shitpost headcanons are also up, I’m thinking of other stuff too because my brain is very pro procrastination right now lmao. Also Im rereading the Thrawn books so there is a weird amount of that atm my bad. Enjoy lads 😁
