In the spirit of Halloween I want to talk about the Tim Burton movie, A Corpse Bride. My hot take on this movie is that that victor ending up with Victoria is absolutely perfect.

A lot of people think he should’ve ended up with Emily. But what actually happened was best for everyone involved.

Let me explain.

Emily was murdered by who was supposed to be her fiancé. Her fiancé, who she was deeply in love with. That type of betrayal stays with her even after her death. Now stuck in this, almost in between of life and death because she hasn’t moved on. Hence why shes immediately so attached to victor, because he showed an interest.

That being said the interest wasn’t in her, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

So now emily has this unhealthy obsession with Victor, and the idea of them being together, because she’s desperate to love and be loved in return.

So now at the end of the movie, we see emily get her closure on what happened to her. She doesn’t need to love someone else how she did before.

She turns into butterflies and flies away, which omg that was literally so gorgeous. Beautiful moment.

That and I think Victor and Victoria are super cute.
