Q!SLIMERIANA RADIO SHOW HOST ADDITION!! (brainrotted and created with @vertical-suns <33)

Basically slime and mariana both work at separate radio show stations (or wherever you call them) and they have a rivalry with each other. It’s because they both air around the same time (both shows are popular in their own right and have fans/listeners of their own!!)

despite this slime and mariana are the way they are and started talking shit about each other live. No ones sure who started it or when but its a thing now and its everyones problem

mariana (in spanish): have you seen this charlie guy?? he’s so muscular he’s so fucking sexy-

slime, reacting on his show: HOLD ME BACK WHATS HE SAYING ABOUT ME WHATS HE SAYING

slime will 100% listen to and react to whatever mariana is talking about when he’s live like hello sir?? what are you doing?? aren’t you suppose to play music?? or talk about the news?? what is this?? (it’s fine i feel like regular listeners live for the drama) (it’s free entertainment). no i don’t think slime knows what mariana is talking about half the time and i don’t think that woudl stop him either. slime spends company time thinking about mariana and sometimes that’s just how it’s gonna be

Wilbur and Slime work at the same studio and wilbur use to have a segment but it got cut because he became a touring musician so he doesn't have time to go on air anymore. He still goes on sometimes as a special guest and to answer calls/questions but its not common

He and slime are best friends tho which means wilbur is subjected to whenever slime decided to go on hour long rants about mariana

Roier and Mariana also work at the same radio station but roier actually does a segment regularly!! he takes callers and it’s like a giving advice/self help thing. he answers calls like “ayy whats your problem today?” Its psychologoier, it’s free therapy, it’s not great but it is interesting so at least there’s that?

sometimes roier helps run mariana’s show like behind the scenes (like if mariana’s producer isn’t here or something else) (he just tells him the things to prepare to say, what’s coming next, when to do certain things, shit like that.)

anyways a special thing that happens on mariana’s radio is that usually once a week for the entire segment of time he has he’ll just answer calls and talk about stuff or give advice which is a 50/50 on being useful or being a joke. yes he gets flirted with on air, yes almost every caller wants him its okay

One time Slime for fun calls in and then it’s just them arguing live on air for like idk 10 minutes MKNAJHFIJW they’re 50% arguing and 50% saying innuendos and the most absurd shit you will ever hear

mariana’s mic got cut off 5 minutes in and they played music until he got off the phone with slime but Slime happened to be live during the call so anyone on his show could hear the entire thing

slime probably stop talkign all togther at one point just to hear whatever insane shit was coming out of mariana’s mouth and he’s going to be thinking about it days to come. slime ends his show a bit after and lays down in the studio flushed entirely and staring blankly at a wall. eventually he looks up and the first thing out of his mouth that he says to wilbur is “i want to have sexo with mariana” wilbur burst into laughter

slime: no i’m not joking stop laughing i’m being serious

wilbur: so am i, i don’t want to hear about how much you want mariana

slime: WILBUR PLEASE SHES SO FUCKIGN HOT

wilbur: YOU HATED HER BEFORE THAT PHONE CALL

The tardis duplication did kinda bother me though I think it would’ve been a lot more meaningful if 14 entrusted 15 with it as an acknowledgement that it’s his time now while at the same time trusting the tardis to come back when (and if!!!) truly necessary

Kaito trying really really hard to put his protectiveness aside giving miu some growing room by distracting himself with dating and hanging out with people he barely is able to tolerate due to his experience in the other world, wince dating and making friends is what normal highschoolers do.

Miu developing very /very/ messy feelings regarding Kaito seemingly having no more time for her, while at the same time pushing him away when he does since that's just how their dynamic has always been as siblings and she wants him to feel like everything is fine with her, get really mad at girls he brings to the house, her even worse ability to relate to other people her age. . Also gender stuff unrelated to the main plot.

Takuma and Ryo being the only still decently well adjusted ones.

Shuuji developing a bad rebellious streak due to his father treating lopmon like a stray animal at the best of times.

Saki having anxiety since, now that she's improving in her physical self she has to prepare for rhe future.

Aoi being a mess with the fact their group is starting to drift apart due to their own issues and worrying she won't have anyone that really /gets/ her if they do stop talking together.

The concept of Kaito trying too hard to be a "normal" kid as a distraction from Miu even though he's clearly bad at it and doesn't like doing it is honestly really interesting. It's almost funny in a fish out of water way, but also really sad thinking about him being stuck with nothing but fake friends after having spent time with real friends.

Pretty much everything you said about Miu is like,,,exactly how I imagined she'd act post game? Like yeah Kaito being clingy annoyed her, but that doesn't mean she wants him to never be with her. Not having friends her age AND having this new distance between her and someone she's used to having around a lot would be really isolating and tough. I actually talked a little about this one before. Lowkey love that pretty much everyone seems to agree that this kid has gender stuff going on.

I actually imagine Ryo would have a similar problem to Aoi. He went to camp to make friends because people at his school already didn't like him, so drifting apart from the friends he DID make would be hard for him since they're all he has. Well, other than Kunemon.

Takuma probably would be the most relatively well-adjusted person here but he is still a kid trying to pretend life is normal after having to save the world so ladfkjakj idk maybe as former team leader he'd be a little adverse to taking responsibility for things for a while. Y'know like having trouble finding ordinary things in his life important compared to saving the universe. I think I accidentally just described ant man quantumania never mind ignore me.

Shuuji WOULD have a rebellious phase. He didn't go through an entire self-acceptance arc to watch the other half of his soul be mistreated ToT It'd probably be a bit awkward tbh tho like sunk cost fallacy is real and I don't think he'd want to throw away everything he's worked for academically when he's this close? Local rebellious bad boy still top of his class? But then again what better way would there be to spite his dad than failing aldkfa idk

I actually. Really really love that idea for Saki. Her being someone who didn't plan about the future before because she didn't know if she'd even have one now realizing that Life is Happening and she doesn't know what she's doing. Obviously she's still young but tbh can confirm that at any age it's extremely stressful when everyone seems to know what they want and where they're going but you.

What is a squad mom without her squad ToT It probably would be jarring for Aoi going back to school with classmates that just take advantage of her after having friends who truly appreciated her. Being unable to feel the same way about her old "friends" anymore.

Honestly I think they would all be afraid of drifting apart. In a lot of ways, most of them are each other's first true friends who care about them and not just for the masks they wear or the help they can give. None of them WANT to move on from each other, they just don't have the time, and most of them don't go to school together. ...Digimon Tri Joe moment. Joement.

so back in the stone ages when i used to run the BWB twitter, i came across a post that you might remember me retweeting/replying to a tweet with a picture of fingerbang kyle and regular stan in it.

at the top of the post, someone retweeted it saying something to the effect of 'ugh, i hate celebrity x fan plots, so boring lol' and maybe it's petty but that made me heeeellla overprotective and Viciously Angry bc that's the plot premise of my entire fanfic and i literally don't think it's boring at all??? yes, i'm insane.

that pissed me off, lmao.

but anyways i was looking at that picture of finger bang kyle and regular boy stan and was like...oh my god it's just rm in reverse???

so here's my pitch for the reverse remember au fic aka...

so i think that the plot premise or chapter one would hinge on the fact that it is shelley's birthday. and for shelley's birthday, she and her friend got two tickets to go see finger bang live and in concert, world famous boy band, like one direction, beatle-mania level famous.

buuuuuut her friend backs out at the last minute, so she's left with this extra ticket and that girl was her ride so she basically can't go.

let's leave that off to the side for a moment though, so i can tell you a little about what i think forget au stan marsh would be like...

who i think...

is an absolute fucking LOSER.

like i am talking major loner-stoner energies, has literally one friend and i think its butters who is also his roommate, never goes outside, literally just holes up in his room playing his guitar, writes a bunch of really dark edgelordy songs no one will ever hear — they are actually quite good, but again, sort of political and bleak and beat-poetic, is a serious music snob, like really really fucking annoying about music...might bring him working at vinyl tap back, but i also support city wok delivery boy stan, basically only goes outside to barely pay attention in class ( he's a music major at cu denver ), go to work so that he can buy more pizza, beer, video games and i think he's saving up for a really fancy guitar or to see shows which are his safe place.

i predict that he probably is still bleach blonde stan, i maintain that he can still be half mexican like ravenstan, could be really cute if he brushed his hair and stopped slouching, vegetarian, wears the same beanie from high school, rotates the same like four or five tee shirts which are all covered in stains, full of holes, etc. most of them are band shirts or 100% hemp tegridy farms work shirts from when he was working there in high school which he barely got through, btw, cs get degrees, probably wears the iconic stan leather jacket that is obnoxiously covered in pins, big baggy jeans, like, huge, and ofc, the stan marsh combat boots bc he's an midwest emo king.

i assume he has all the stan piercings, certainly the nose one...should i give him the ravenstan lip piercing for shits and gigs? some tattoos?

but yeah, i love him but he's pathetic. he has like zero social skills. he had one girlfriend and it was wendy and they broke up a million times because he kept accidentally fucking up by boyfailing too hard. bi but i don't think he really knows that. like i feel like he has some bi panic moments but he kind of just takes a shot and swallows those down and tries not to think about it so stan probably thinks he's straight.

anyways! stan is gearing up to go to this gigantic metal festival that he's ben waiting for..Forever but then gets a call from his mom who is like "stanley marsh, it is your SISTER'S BIRTHDAY! you are driving her to this concert and that is final!" he complains soooooo much like shelley why are you fucking ruining my life to go see gay one direction????? holy shit???? i hate my life????

but the hotel room(s) are already paid for and stan has the tegridy farms family truck ( riley made me moderately obsessed with little beat up pick up truck farm boy stan i love him ) aka weed for speed aka mary jane ( she is stan's baby ) so he picks shelley up who tries to play finger bang the whole way there but stan is a snob and he is like i am driving i am picking the music, but shelley and him keep fightng and probably break the radio and they have to sit in silence hdlksah, the whole time shelley is going on and on and ON about finger bang and how obsessed she is specifically with kyle, who stan doesn't know much about other than the fact that he is little and ginger?

sigh we can have tall boyfail loser midwest emo weed farm skater boy stan and short cute fresh faced world famous popstar kyle as a treat, you are welcome to everyone, but mostly riley.

also because i gave jersey an accent, i mean, i don't think forget finger bang stan has a super strong accent but there's probably a little twang there just from being all the way out there in super hick nowheresville rural colorado, it kind of embarasses him so he doesn't talk much or very loudly at all, might have a slight stammer?

idk i love him he's a qt. <3

anyways they get there and it is PACKED!!!!! it is literally hell, stan is so overstimulated holy shit, like forget ( why am i calling it that like that is so fucking funny ) stan is so introverted, he is not vibing. also because it's all mostly screaming girls with signs and stuff, shelley is one of them, she is holding up this really obnoxious one that says 'DEFILE ME, KYLE' on it like gOOOOOOD.

he's in hell fr fr fr.

but it gets worse because right before they are about to get in, this group of rabid fans runs by and one of them knocks her red sugary drink all over stan and completely douses his shirt. he's ready to die. the hotel is too far away, so he has to go into the stadium store and buy something to wear but sigh...the only option...

is black tee-shirt with the words FINGERBANG ME <3 in a big pink glittery font...but sigh...*raven vc* at least it's black. he has no choice but to buy it rip the guitar fund.

he goes back in with shelley and the finger bang boys come out i think its cartman, kenny, kyle and wendy but...wendyl? might be kinda spicy if stan's ex-boyfriend was in fb, also bc that makes him confused about his sexuality...nina rm/fb trans rights, baby!

stan hates everything about their upbeat, capitalistic, commercialist vibe, all of it is really obnoxious bubble gum pop stuff meant to be peddled to teenage girls, its almost propaganda and makes stan sick.

which, speaking of, the songs are bad, but the singing, he's realizing, is actually quite good, particularly the singing done by the little ginger finger bang boy who shelley is obsessed with who...for some reason stan really cannot take his eyes off of. he also thinks he might be crazy but he swears they accidentally locked eyes a couple times, which meant stan had to take a swig of flask he stashed in his jacket.

but i'm gonna finish this post out with a bang or, rather, a finger bang if you will, because i think ala the virigin sacrifice schtick in rm, they probably single some audience members out...

shelley picks the extremely oppurtune moment before that happens to use the restroom and basically pawns her gigantic DEFILE ME KYLE SIGN off on him, so he's just holding this kyle sign and the FINGER BANG ME teeshirt so naturally, fingerbang kyle thinks he's a fan, gets really close to him, winks, steals his beanie, replaces it with his white, blingy, fluffy ushanka and says

"Hey Cutie,

Wanna Get Finger Banged?" <3 ;) xxx

#and that's a wrap people!#i really liked it #it was cute and a lot of fun #i do wish we got a bit more character development but otherwise i didn't have too many issues #looking back early episodes don't show the bowzock as they are like in the first few episodes they're perverted in a sense but that #basically diminishes a lot very quickly just in case that's not something you want to see #there's a lot of flashing lights early on but they lessen over time but do note they are still there #i didn't talk about it much but i really enjoyed kosuke and zonnette's romance and how that played out #i think minoru and kyosuke had the strongest character focused episodes and are standouts for this one #natsumi is close behind with naoki and unfortunately youko just didn't get the time like the others #although a lot of the characters shined through antics and bc kyosuke and minoru were very carefree and silly they did draw #attention hence why i could say more for them than the others #this is really just a fun sentai with a lot of antics and out there logic so definitely something i'd enjoy #next will be megaranger and then we'll see from there :)#umbrella.thoughts #umbrella.posts #carranger lb #super sentai lb

like i don’t.. really wanna be that person who’s like ‘clearly the author is wrong about what they said about their own work via word-of-god interviews because that doesn’t line up with this thing in canon!’ because i mean sometimes the author legitimately does get their wires crossed and misspeak but a lot of the time people just can’t accept that the story isn’t what they thought it would be

but still. i have sort of felt for a while that certain nomura interview tidbits of information have been maybe not the most reliable. i don’t want to act like we as fans are better than him or anything because that’s really disrespectful but i don’t think we can deny that he is a wild writer and does change things around a lot. remakes, remasters, changing story plans, etc…we never know what thing we think is established as true might be thrown out the next day. i just want to take things with a grain of salt sometimes maybe

#this is about the ‘xehanort’s mom is related to skuld in a way we’re gonna talk about bloodlines next’ thing #that would heavily imply that skuld is xehanort’s ancestor unless she had a sibling we didn’t know about which is kinda silly tbh #which would therefore almost certainly deconfirm her as subject x unless something totally wild happened #i mean the end of ux was super ambiguous about it #it kind of seemed like neither ephemer’s nor skuld’s pods took off cuz they got buried in rubble #but then why not show us skuld in the ending #if they do end up going with ‘she stayed behind as well’ i’d be forced to conclude they hadn’t thought it through while writing ux #either that or they hid that info from us in ux just to bait us just to be mean #kingdom hearts #mine: kh

not tagged this time except by dint of “and anyone else who wants to” but I’m so excited about my newfound ability to Make Words that I’m posting another wip snippet! this is from the multi-chapter post-finale Mob fic i’m working on:

As they left the restaurant, Reigen dropped a hand on Teruki’s shoulder.

“You know, this got me thinking,” he said. “Your parents are working overseas, right?”

“Yes,” said Teruki, with the sort of practiced ease that Reigen exuded at the office every day. “But I’m perfectly happy with the independence it’s provided me!”

“Yeah, yeah, of course. But I imagine not everyone sees it that way, yeah?”

Teruki’s mouth was a thin line. “Mm.”

Reigen produced a business card from his pocket with a flourish. The effect was somewhat spoiled when his foot caught on the sidewalk and he had to windmill his arms to stay upright, but the card floated over to Teruki’s hand with a flash of yellow and a whiff of ozone.

“All I’m saying is,” Reigen told him when he’d recovered his balance, “I’m an adult who actually lives in Seasoning City, if your school ever needs you to produce one. Standing offer. Think of it as a thank you for helping out around the office.”
