I'm here to spread my Ninjago neurodiversity headcanons

because this fandom does not have enough of it and I felt like it. Also because i missed neurodiversity week by one day.

uhh yeah. I wanted to have an art too but I didn't expect posting this so soon-

Anyways.

Zaneeee the classic yay.

He's definitely neurodivergent.

I don't think he'd identify as anything in particular, but he identifies as neurodivergent cuz he's a nindroid and because of that doesn't fit in or think like neurotypicals.

He's a bit of an outlier because of that tho, even in neurodiverse places.

He's decently public because he's too innocent to see how anything could go bad just because he shared it. Poor Zane, bless him :,) he definitely ended up being harassed at least once.

Cole because everybody overlooks him and I'm disappointed /hj

Okay this man is autistic. Tell me otherwise. Tell me otherwise right now. Like have you seen him.

He's very closed off about being autistic. I feel like Lou was definitely not very accommodating of it and encouraged him to mask n stuff, (which btw can lead to a huge number of anxiety and self worth issues later down the line, so do not force people to mask).

There's a lot of stigma associated with autistic people that I feel like Cole definitely wouldn't enjoy, so he keeps it pretty tight under wraps and tries to mask when he can.

He especially doesn't like telling people he knows because he doesn't want a close friend to potentially start treating him like an infant or helpless, or assume he has no emotions or starting to distance themselves from him.

He hid it from the Ninja for the first few seasons. Around after S4-5 when he and Jay had become close again he decided to tell him. I feel like he was jealous or impressed by how open Jay is in comparison (we'll get to him in a moment) and how accepting the others were. Jay's reaction is easily summed up as *HAPPY NEURODIVERGENT SOLIDARITY SCREAMING* but also "I feel stupid for not connecting the dots" and then they went from bffs to... also bffs. But now they get to make adhd and autism jokes together.

Jay helped him be more comfortable and feel more confident in himself and he finally told the other Ninja after DotD because he ended up experiencing several massive sensory overloads at some point, since being autistic made it so that the issues you'd have from finally being able to touch things after a year or two would've been amplified ten fold, so he kinda had to tell them because it stuck around for several weeks.

He still isn't very public about it towards strangers, but he's getting better about feeling comfortable with it himself and not, yknow, experiencing social anxiety 24/7 around his friends.

He's definitely on like the mild-mid end of the spectrum. He doesn't need too many accommodations, but he does experience sensory issues and might need alternative explanations for some things.

He's usually pretty closed off when he first gets to know somebody, but overtime when he does get to know them and becomes comfortable with them he gets pretty social and sarcastic with them, which doesn't always go well since he can't tell when someone gets legitimately hurt or offended or when it's just part of the joke, so being more public about it with his friends has made it so they can communicate better with that type of stuff :D

...You may notice that this one is substantially longer than the rest and the reason for that is because I'm autistic so I feel more confident about writing about an autistic character. And also because autistic Cole makes me feel represented because way too many autistic characters are either robots (which is fine, but one of my symptoms is I have difficult to relate to those types of characters) or very stereotypical. So.

I try to keep the others shorter because I don't trust myself as much with those LOL.

Also he may be colorblind, but he's not sure.

Uhh Jay

Yeah

He has adhd, probably a comorbidity too like OCD or smthn. He's in the very hyperactive group, and he's pretty public about it because he feels comfortable with who he is and doesn't really care if some idiot takes issue with it (or well, pretends like he doesn't care, except he actually does)

ATTENTION: This is some recent information about the current events with Chris Chan that I've been able to find, plus additional information that I couldn't find anything on that is now public knowledge.

ALL videos about any updates will be linked so you can watch them for yourself, if you wish.

Again, OBLIGATORY trigger warning: This post will be going into very sensitive subject matter, including r@p3, s3xual assault, elder abuse, and inc3st. I will also be mentioning the site Kîwî F@rm$ and the person who runs it (Null). DON'T go onto Kîwî F@rm$. Just stay away from there. It's like 4chan (another site full of REALLY fucked up shit, depending on which forum you go to), but worse.

If anything I mentioned is triggering for you or makes you otherwise uncomfortable in any way, you don't have to read this post. It's not worth putting yourself in a bad state mentally. Take care of yourself, please. Consume media that sparks joy for you.

ALRIGHTY, LET'S GET TO IT. Because there's quite a lot of bullshit that happened since the first post I made about the current events. And some more information that will most likely be the nail in the coffin for Chris. I'm patiently waiting for more updates as they come and I'll share them here as soon as possible.

The person Chris was in a call with was revealed to be a troll under the name "Bella". The screenshots of messages and the audio from the call have all been confirmed to be real.

It's also been revealed that Chris confided in Null about her having a girlfriend, having s3x with her, all that. Here's a list of things to describe this "girlfriend" below, which I will compare to Barbara in bold:

This woman is "in her over fifties". (Barbara is eighty years old. Most people would assume that someone's in their late fifties when this terminology is used. Eighty is well over fifty.)

Her favorite person was the late Adam West in the 60s, as it was "for her son back then". (I don't know if Chris is referring to her half-brother Cole Smithey [he does movie reviews, and he's most famous for being one of the only people to give Toy Story 3 a negative review] here, or if she's referring to herself before she came out as trans. I'm adding this here anyway.)

Chris has known this woman "for a long time", offline and in-person. (OBVIOUSLY she's known Barbara her whole life, since she's, AGAIN, HER MOTHER! DUH.)

They've been having s3x "every three nights". (Like how Chris admitted to doing to her defenseless mother. PRETTY FUCKING FISHY, IF YOU ASK ME.)

They began having s3x on June 27th. (The same day that Chris admitted to doing to Barbara.)

This woman was an accountant when she was younger. (Barbara's job was EXACTLY this.)

Chris said she feels grateful to "enlighten" her girlfriend with s3x play that she (the woman) "missed from even her exes". (I didn't mention this in my initial post, but if you chose to watch the videos that were linked, Chris mentioned that Barbara's boyfriends and ex-husbands "have never been able to make her 0rg@$m" like Chris did. SHE EVEN MENTIONED HER LATE FATHER. THAT'S FUCKING DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL.)

Chris has been "keeping her girlfriend safe" too. (She had been "taking care of Barbara" since Bob, her late father, passed away. This right here is proof alone that she was talking about HER MOM!)

Her girlfriend "didn't want to do it at first", it was "very painful" for Chris's girlfriend in the beginning, and it took a few tries for them "to get going". This included Chris doing it FOR her because she thought her girlfriend would "feel better" due to her lack of mobility and lucidity. (Chris said all of this exact stuff TO "BELLA" during their call.)

Null initially thought that Chris was lying about sleeping with her mother to cover up the fact that she had a girlfriend and having s3x with her. Why? Because apparently people would believe Chris would have s3x with her mother than some other unknown woman. Chris told Null to keep her girlfriend's identity secret because she was afraid her girlfriend would get trolled and she'd end up losing her.

What Null realized was that what Chris told him completely matched the description of Barbara. Note that before he looked into this, he was unaware of the context Chris was giving him about her "girlfriend".

It's extremely possible now that Chris admitted to s3xually assaulting Barbara to Null and "Bella", but she wanted Null to keep it confidential. Chris wanted NULL to keep the fact that she admitted to committing a VERY serious crime A SECRET.

If Chris WAS actually lying, she'd use a lot more CWCisms (her own phrases) or say that she was "using her psychic powers" to have s3x with Barbara's fictional counterpart in another dimension. But no, Chris was VERY straightforward and talked about it casually like if you were to talk about the weather.

Chris, according to Null, slept in a parking lot in her car the other night. At least for a few hours, though I don't remember where the FUCK else she slept (maybe a hotel room eventually), considering she had -$200 in her bank account. I believe some people who are in contact with Chris sent her some money to get food too.

Null revealed that he set up a GoFundMe previously for Chris to attend a Brony convention, which was a test to see how Chris would be able to handle commissions. The GFM was successful, to say the least. Chris fulfilled commissions successfully, DESPITE NOT WORKING ON THE FUCKING COMIC. Y'KNOW, THE THING SHE'S PAID FOR ON PATREON TO DO!

Well, due to recent events, he has since taken down the GFM and is refunding all the money to all the donors. He was debating on sending Chris money (the GFM money, since Chris isn't able to go to the Brony convention), but he decided not to do so. He told Chris to sleep in her car, spend the night under the stars, and reflect on her current situation until the morning, when Null would help her find a temporary roof over her head until August 5th.

Barbara tightly manages Chris's finances. Those are Null's words, not mine. You want to know why Barbara's been having trouble with the house and shit? CHRIS HAS BEEN STEALING MONEY FROM HER FOR YEARS. HER CREDIT IS ALL SORTS OF FUCKED, SHE'S BURIED IN DEBT, AND IT'S CHRIS'S FAULT. THE PERSON WHO'S SUPPOSED TO BE TAKING CARE OF HER.

How did we find out about Chris recently getting more money, specifically $750? Well, Null has had access to Chris's emails for the past few years (Chris knows this), and he found an email that Barbara had sent Chris money.

That's a violation of the EPO (Emergency Protective Order) that was put into affect for Barbara. Chris was NOT supposed to contact Barbara in ANY way, shape or form.

Null asked Chris about this and told her that this was a violation of the EPO. He asked her if her mom sent her money. Chris denied it at first, and then went into the whole goddess bullshit she goes into. She then admitted to accessing Barbara's banking account online and wiring the $750 to HER account. Chris also said that she'd pay her back the $750 after receiving the $1000 that Null was supposed to send to Chris. Null was obviously upset with what Chris had done. Who wouldn't be?

Guess what Null did in reaction to what Chris told him? HE BLOCKED CHRIS AND REPORTED HER TO THE POLICE. I'm honestly surprised he stuck with her this long. He genuinely wanted to see Chris become a better person.

It's only a matter of time for Chris's arrest. With all this information that's out there now, more information probably coming very soon, plus people close to Chris confirming all of this....I feel it's safe for me to say that Chris did s3xually assault her mother.

I don't feel bad for Chris anymore. I have no sympathy for Chris. Any ounce of respect for this person has been long since gone. I don't feel comfortable even referring to Chris as a person. She's a monster.

I talked about Chris a few times a few years ago on Instagram, and I got yelled at for tearing this motherfucker apart. Because apparently I was an "ableist bully" for having my grievances with Chris, despite the fact that I'm autistic too and I've never "bullied" Chris for being autistic. Not even once. My grievances had more to do with Chris using her mother and their animals to exploit them for her own monetary gain INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FIND A JOB. I've even tried to suggest that she go work through a temporary work industry and get paid daily. (At that time, I didn't know that trying to interact with Chris wasn't a very good idea. I've since learned, obviously.)

Ok I was like gonna explain Fate since it’s a new hyperfixation but it’s way too hard to explain as I discussed w/ @mountainashfae so. Instead I will explain Dragon Age! It’s more of a special interest but still.

Dragon Age (sorry if u already know this) is a fantasy RPG/book/comic/that one animated movie nobody likes/that one live action web series with Felicia Day that everybody forgot about/that one Facebook game??/that one phone app game/that poorly written TTRPG/ series about the known world of Thedas. It’s a very (mostly) stereotypical high fantasy setting that takes place in the Dragon Age/Era, hence the name. In MOST content you follow the story of whatever brave hero and their companions, and the choices they make.

🏳‍🌈 do you have any headcanons (lgbt, race, neuro, etc) that are important to you?

YES ABSOLUTELY some of them are:

-Josephine is asexual!!! She’s asexual biromantic. I always had heavy ace vibes from her romance....

-DA2 is being narrated, so many of the things that seem a bit outrageous/break canon are in fact due to an unreliable narrator. Literally Varric is untrustworthy as much as I love him!!!

-Same w/ the way ppl talk about him in DAI. It’s to protect Anders, it’s not actually the truth.

-BI ALISTAIR BI ALISTAIR BI ALISTAIR

-BI CASS BI CASS BI CASS BI CASS

-literally all ur favs are autistic. I mostly HC Alistair, Anders, Dagna, Cole and Merril as such but all of them.

I have a lot of like. Character quirk headcanons too!!

Like, how Bull probably comes and goes and takes from the kitchen a lot, and the staff does so half because. He’s kind of intimidating. But also because he’s one of the only people who stops and listens to them, and tries to talk to them. And that’s why he has food under his bed :)

And how once Anders and Isabella start to talk more again, Isabella will point out and help Anders feed and take care of Kirkwall’s stray cat population. Eventually it becomes a group effort!!! Even Fenris likes to feed the cats.

💎 are there any fun facts or trivia that you would like to share?

YES!!

-Iron Bull canonically wears a knee brace? Which, same hat dude if I actually wore mine orz

-Out of all the lore inconsistencies I actually like the fact that canonically elves have bigger eyes than humans and their eyes have reflective qualities.

-So, there’s a species of lizardmen known as the Scaled Ones. They’re like, a group of people who were warriors and fought with the Dwarves around -1195 Ancient, so a bit after the Tevinter Imperium was founded. They have been mysteriously erased from MOST records, but accounts of them that do survive say their priests can breathe fire which is the most badass thing ever.

-Also! There’s a common misconception that you can call the Qunari Kossith and be correct which, is false. While they did descend from the Kossith, through dialogue w/ Bull and from codext entries, it’s discerned that:

The original Kossith settlement in the Korcari Wilds was wiped out by dark spawn. There’s not another “Kossith” settlement in forever and when there is it’s the Qunari in dreadnoughts, and they cause the Qunari Wars.

Specifically talking to Bull you’re informed they do not associate themselves with the Kossith as, they had to leave for a certain (unspecified) reason, and there’s been SO much selective breeding done (and probable tampering with dragon blood, as evident from the “not your own blood/your blood is engorged with decay” lines) that they most likely are very distinct from whom ever the Kossith were. It’s clear that most people in the Qun probably do not even know of/use the term Kossith outside of Tamassran tales of before the Qun. Most people in Thedas that aren’t Tal-Vashoth also will not know the term.

It Takes Two to Tumble- Cat Sebastian (period romance, have not read a lot of her work but most of her work is about lgbt couple in regency settings so defs check it out!)

Romancing the Duke/Do Want To Start A Scandal?/The Wallflower Wager (HATE the leading lady in this, 10/10 male lead though he is forever in my heart for fucking up rich people)- Tessa Dare (period romance, only white woman romance author I wholeheartedly recommend lol)

More on the Creators vs Tumblr

To continue on the topic about the way tumblr treats content and diversity, I have to elaborate on favourite pet peeve about it.

There is this very strange dictomy found about how an artist and someone who creates content for a living are seen. As in, the artist is respected and listened to but the content creator is reviled and they are often considered ignorant.

One of the strangest and most harmful forms of this I have seen is ironically the erasure of any minority creators. When something isn't up to the fan's snuff, the writers are often sidelined as 'cis white middle-aged straight men' as the reason why the content was bad.

This not only erases the existence of minority writers or artists entirely, but also misses the fact that a white straight male cis middle-aged writer can and should still deliver a quality product and do the needed research to make things as correct as they can.

The general assumption I get from the way professionals are treated here is that there should be more minorities among them, but you yourself should never actually become one. That way, after all, lay things like ratings boards or focus testing. Not to mention the aformentioned assumption that you are an ignorant idiot who has no idea about anything they write about. Taking space away from a better artist is also one common critique I have seen.

Then there is the view that any corporate board is as well automaticly ignorant and filled with the same cis male white straight middle-aged folk as the creators. Again, this assumption puts the responsibility away from these people and undervalues their work and that of any minority actually found on the board.

Of course, this isn't to say there haven't been cases where the criticism hasn't been correct. For me, it is more that the situation isn't solely tied to what these people are, but it is more about who they are. As a World of Darkness fan, I have seen how the setting went from 90s gritty cheese to a very open and inclusive one, simply because the creators took time to make it so. Many of them older white men.

There is also a lot of entitlement among the fans about the content. From the Dragon Age fandom, two examples stand out for me. Cole being autistic in the wrong way and the writers not giving Fenris a definitive race. While Cole is heavily autistic coded, making him actually autistic would have put the writers in a box how to portray him. After all, the purpose of his character having autistic traits was to portray how alien he is, by using the way autistic people weird out others at times. If Cole had been out and out stated autistic, this would have been troublesome. Instead, by having Cole -not- be autistic gave the writers freedom to explore his behaviour without implying autistic people are inhuman.

With Fenris, he is an elf. His skin colour and his race are vague enough that it is easy to picture him as variety of races. I assume this was the point, letting the players themselves decide how they would see him, without locking down any exact human race.

Being critical of content creators for me is about putting them to the task of their bad work, because they could do better. For example, I made this video about the awful art in Changing Breeds 20th edition, explaining why the art was bad and why I thought it was a downgrade in quality. I did not attack these people personally, I did not consider them idiots. After all, it was not just the artists' fault, the art direction should have been better.

fanfic rec list 2018

i spend like 50% of my free time reading fic so let’s go! the title is the link to the fic for each. i tried spreading this out across fandoms but that didn’t last lol. it was also hard to write these summaries without giving spoilers so Oops

An Hourglass of Stars by HomuraBakura (Yu-Gi-Oh GX/5Ds, Judai/Yusei, Jack/Carly) - After the events of Bonds Beyond Time, Judai wakes up still in Neo Domino City, and has no idea why he didn’t go back to his own time. As the WRGP approaches, he joins up with Team 5D’s while they all try to piece together what happened. This one is a longer read, but it’s so, so worth it.

The Perceptions series by Fantismal (Detroit Become Human, Markus/Connor, etc.) - Connor never finds Jericho and deviates on his own, and Markus “dies” in Hart Plaza. Part 1 deals with the aftermath of the failed revolution, and part 3 is about its resurgence. Watch the warnings - this series deals heavily with trauma from sexual assault and torture, and doesn’t shy away from showing it. It’s one of my absolute favorites ever. Also, this is the series that Essie is from, and I would actually die for her.

i have loved you for so long by Estora (Detroit Become Human) - North is rescued from an android trafficking ring by FBI agent Anne Shapiro, who has spent the past ten years chasing her daughter’s murderer. Over time, they bond, and to quote the story summary, North gets the mother figure she deserves. I love this story, I love North, I love well-written North. (Also, side note, North and Connor are friends in this, and I’m crying)

Just Pick a Time, The Right One Is Gone Already by errantwheat (Detroit Become Human, Gavin/RK900) - Gavin wants to propose to his robo boyfriend but he’s determined to pick the perfect time for it, which gets a bit messy when they’re in the middle of a dangerous and baffling serial killer case. So this is my favorite Reed900 fic and errantwheat’s characterizations are A++ (there’s like 1 or 2 hints of HankCon, but not big enough to really notice if you’re not into it)

by my own hand, or none by SunsetOfDoom (Detroit Become Human) - Connor is learning how to be alive, and he and Hank start a list called “Stuff Connor Likes”. Connor and Cole are autistic, Hank is a gay trans man, and everything is perfect

Because by wargoddess (Mass Effect, Kaidan/Steve) - Directly post-ME3, Kaidan and Steve bond over mourning the same man. I hadn’t thought about this ship until this fic and now I’m 500% all for it tbh (there’s a little bit of not sfw content, but it’s pretty obvious when it’s coming up)

Do Not Go Quietly by notnowcommander (Mass Effect, femShep/Thane, femShep/Miranda, mShep/Kaidan) - Modern zombie apocalypse AU. I don’t know how else to explain this without giving away spoilers. I’m so in love with this story, it completely ruined me and I’m not sorry

Connor Backpack by Sharcade (Detroit Become Human) - Hank puts together a backpack he carries everywhere he and Connor go with everything Connor could want/need. Connor is very autistic and Hank loves his plastic son.

march of progress by Calamitatum (Detroit Become Human) - Connor learns how to deal with being a deviant, being alive, and having emotions with the help of his friends and his weird human dad, while also deal with trauma and depression. (Side note: Connor is also autistic in this one, explicitly, warning that he does face ableism for this). This story is very intense while also being soft, and all of the descriptions are very emotional and visceral.

White Lilac by WritingIsMyCoffee (Detroit Become Human, Connor/Chloe, side Markus/Simon) - After a bust gone wrong, Connor is unconscious, and no one knows why he isn’t waking up. They give Hank a tablet full of what memories they recovered from Connor, and as he watches, he finds the secret life Connor has been living away from him, and possibly how to save him. This story is so sad and deep and it hurts to read but I love it so much.

Honorable mention:

The Warden Guerrin series by Sunruner (Dragon Age, Connor/Carver/OC) - Long story short, Connor joins the Wardens, he finds a boyfriend and a girlfriend and they all love each other so much, and also most of his family is garbage. Look I love this fic so much but a) it wasn’t written in 2018 and b) I didn’t read it in 2018 so I didn’t feel like I could put it on the list, but, this is my favorite story ever and I’d kill or die for Evie. I will never shut up about this fic I’m sorry

RULES: LIST TEN FAVOURITE CHARACTERS FROM TEN DIFFERENT FANDOMS AND THEN TAG TEN PEOPLE.

1. Penelo | Final Fantasy XII. Probably my favourite character in fiction period? I loved the whole game but 15 year old me grew weary of the angsty parts (In an Ivalice game oooooh moly) so I stuck to her like glue. She was everything I admired in a character and I still love her to bits to this day.

2. Sam Vimes | Discworld. Whats not to love? I normally just get so pissed of with your typical grouchy detective type character but like all of Terry Pratchett’s characters there’s something different about him. The first book I read was Thud so he was also my introduction to the series. The scene where he shouts through the mountains to tell his kid a bed time story is possibly one of the best things I’ve ever read in a book.

3. Hokuto Sumeragi | Tokyo Babylon. The series is very dated now and something I honestly shouldn’t like but I seem to just be drawn to stories by CLAMP. I have a love/hate relationship with them to be honest but damn... Hokuto. She’s fucking insane??? I love her??? I wish we got to see more of her (or see her at all in other series like Tsubasa)

4. Shiemi Moriyama | Ao No Exorcist. This series is .... it’s bad. It’s so bad but I love it? Shiemi especially, she’s an absolute darling. I love her compassion and femininity. I love feminine characters that kick butt in a feminine way and she literally kicks peoples asses politely with flowers. It does get tiring to read ANE cause of the weird fan service though

5. Cole | Dragon Age Cole is my son and I am very proud of him. When I first played I stuck with the mages so when Cole showed up I didn’t *get* him at first. I was quite creeped out by him but as I slowly got to know him I just loved him. I sort of relate to him as well?

6. Lapis Lazuli | Steven Universe. Lapis Lazuli at any given moment is a direct representation of my mood. She’s my favorite SU character by far and I am glad she is the weird and estranged gay aunt. Which is also a Goal of mine.

7. Symmetra | Overwatch. I was pretty amused by the Overwatch content on my dash when it first came out. Then someone was like “Hey Feeny Symmetra is autistic.” I couldn’t believe it to be honest? Here is a ridiculously popular game that has a playable autistic character? I mean it’s Blizzard so I had (and still do cause of recent shit that's come out) my doubts but I just... love Symmetra. She’s such a cool character and its great that shes not your typical villain? If you can even call her that, because she is starting to have her doubts about the Viskar and I honestly can’t wait to see the fallout of that. I want to see her in more comics... heck even a short. Can you imagine... a Symmetra and Lucio short.

Also I want her to step on me.

8. Isabelle | Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing is just... such a therapeutic game for me. It’s helped me through some pretty dark times? I know that sounds silly but its just... nice? A game that rewards you for being nice to people and making friends. Isabelle is just so cute as well. I want to give her all the holidays (with PAY)

9. Zuko | Avatar the Last Airbender. Holy character development batman. Zuko is a bloody incredible character. The ending of season 2 was gut wrenching but I’m glad Zuko’s healing process wasn’t a straight line. Cause it’s true. Healing from the level of abuse he suffered is hard, you’ll back track, you fuck up and make mistakes. But in the end its worth it. He’s just... such a powerful character and I hope he goes down in animation history.

10. Alisaie Leveilleur | Final Fantasy XIV. OH MY GOD PATCH 3.4 though. Like, I’m 90% sure people are following me that haven’t completed this patch yet so I’ll be vague. As much as I love ffxiv to pieces I was beginning to have *issues* with it, which where starting to cloud my enjoyment of the game. Issues like “this world kinda sucks when you think about it.... why do I even want to save it?” In comes Alisaie fucking Leveilleur. She voiced it, she voiced everything I was having a damn issue with. She just... fixed the whole game for me and was part of one of the best story lines in the whole game. She’s my daughter now

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is an event that takes place in May every year, a day aimed at getting people talking, thinking and learning about digital accessibility.

It did not include any representation of games to start with, but has steadily grown. From a single games panellist on a multi industry panel in 2013 through to GAAD 2016’s six articles, two talks and four videos, including three as part of ID24, and of course the highlight being the unveiling of Uncharted 4’s well known accessibility featureset.

This year there was another huge leap forward, which I think is in line with the huge leap being taken forward in the industry in general. It is now getting to the point where it is hard to keep track of, but hopefully it is still fairly comprehensive!

Some of the events were private, but some are videos and articles freely available online, which make for a great set of new accessibility resources.

There were several internal awareness raising events, the first being at the BBC. They held a live streamed multi venue multi industry event, which included demos of switch-accessible preschool gaming:

Next up cross-industry accessibility consultancy Funka held a dedicated game accessibility awareness raiser at their head office in Stockholm, with 150 attendees:

Gaikai, makers of PlayStation Now, also held an internal event, sponsored by their new Accessibility Committee. Opening talks by Mike Olsen and Dave Perry, demo stations covering a range of game genres, impairment simulations and custom hardware, and a wide range of accessibility resources. And cupcakes.

Hello! Im cookii-moon, but most people tend to call me Cookie!

I’m an autistic artist who studies character design, and I’d say my style is most recognizable by my proportions and colors!

You may also have seen that I write on occasion, though honestly I’m not that good of a writer and it’s just another form of creative outlet for me. I do not post my fics here, but links to them can be found under my AUs!

Cole centric AU set after crystallized! Also known as the Villain Cole AU. After the overlords defeat, some of his power gets transferred to Cole, and begins to grow a consciousness of its own, resulting in a large scale.. problem.. for the ninja, and Cole gaining a very angry and vengeful twin clone thingymajig!

Unnamed Mutation AU:

Everybody gets a bit of focus! Not set in any particular time at the moment! A mysterious phenomena spreads across Ninjago related to the once dormant elemental influence in the world, causing sudden mutations in the residents. Currently all the mutations are based on real animals, but I’m thinking of changing that along with revamping and fleshing out this AU more in the future (alongside an actual name lol)
