Hi!! What's your opinion on Sharon (after ftws)?

Hello! Tumblr is so hard to find stuff on!

Here were my feelings on Sharon turning out to be an antagonist at the end. I didn’t like it, especially when that was followed up by Peggy being made out to be some paragon of virtue in What If. Just feels unfair to a character that has more or less been Steve’s designated love interest in the comics, and who was short-changed the whole time in the MCU.

Feelings aside though, I think it is possible to write her into a villainous character simply because the MCU left huge gaps about her, and I did this meta (tagged onto amotm’s excellent meta) about setting Sharon up as bad from as early as CATWS.

I am not too sure, with how busy the MCU is becoming, there’s any space for her. And to be honest, the MCU has done a disservice to EvC’s career and she’s better off finding greener pastures elsewhere.

Y'know that one hannigram time travel au where they both travelled so far back in time that Will woke up as a 10 year old and Hannibal was able to rescue Mischa??

Well what if: A) Hannibal was much younger when Mischa died (more like 12), and B) they had the same age-difference as Mads and Hugh?

Looking up perfumes by what notes they have, to work out what perfume Hannibal Lecter might buy for Will Graham, or what Will Graham might buy for himself in a 'getting himself spruced up to entice Hannibal' type scenario (y'know, normal fannibal stuff.)

And I discover that there are such things as... Dog Perfumes. Which are apparently just as good but a lot cheaper.

ficbunny for a s1 enemies-to-lovers au I had last night that made me grin:

Will figures out Hannibal is the Copycat before they go to the Hobbs house, and everything else happens the same BUT: this time, Hannibal (who knows Will knows he's the Copycat) makes Will promise not to tell on him... in return for saving Abigail's life.

(With the implication that, if Will reneges on their deal after the fact, Abigail's life will be forfeit.)

So it's basically:

S1 but with Will in that seething, post-scales-falling 'I finally find you interesting' mindset from the beginning.

And Just. S1 Hannibal, having an obscene amount of fun, getting to be himself (and parade the fact that he's running rings around the competition) in front of the man he's blackmailing.

Will being forced to attend 'therapy' sessions with someone he already knows is a killer, 

Hannibal tricking Will into attending the opera by casually mentioning he'll be taking Alana Bloom

Will inadvertently breaking bad sooner because he's trying to find some other killer to connect with to send them after Hannibal 

(maybe Will didn't attack Tobias, in this 'verse; maybe he correctly deduced Hannibal's intention and sent him after Hannibal in retaliation?) 

Will deciding to honeypot Hannibal into giving himself away, s2 style, (thereby discovering he's the Ripper). Only now he doesn't have the excuse that he was doing that under Jack's orders because Jack doesn't know, etc. etc.

I had the funny experience of reading this fic this week and coming across a line that referenced Hannibal re-painting this painting to feature Will, which exactly matched a manip I made of that very thing, years ago! (only I had made it into a fake Hannibal sketch).

I hunted down the original file, and found the painting layer was still in there! So I used it to make ebook covers for the fic – and here they are.
