22. Is there anything you regret writing?:: Not really 😅 I mean, some feels ‘cringe’ on later reread, but they were all things I enjoyed in the moment and they all contributed to my growth as a writer in one way or another. No use regretting things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.:: I love all of my fic, for the most part xD I’m very proud of my own work, it’s a problem lmao. I have very few finished pieces, so one of the jonalex (oxenfree) rp fics I wrote with @h4mm132l1c3 (So It Goes) is high on the list cause it’s a finished work with an epilogue (2 epilogues) and all, and I was proud of making Vonnegut references lol. But another I’m super fond of is my (unfinished) emsider (dishonored) fae au Iron and Gold, and the silly (but also emotional friends to lovers!) jonalex reality tv + bartender au fic I did, Lucky in Love. Also my Dead By Daylight Frank/oc fic Unwilling Survivor, cause it introduced Sam. I could never pick a single work, I’m sorry, lmao. 😅

31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?:: I have had some lovely lovely things said, and I remember them all. @anomiidae left these amazing tags on a post about Unwilling Survivor, I love those. I got a couple different comments on A Helping Hand from disabled readers that said I handled things well, and that was amazing to hear, not to mention the amazing rec from Inky that brought tears to my eyes and I read to my family lmao (to be fair I was with family when it posted and I was smiling like an idiot at my phone). Also, when @artpraeda made art for Holy Spirits (the jonalex bartender au), I died 🥹

Hey, I've been following you a long time since I saw your oxenfree fics. I started reading Unwilling Survivor about a weekish ago and I really like it. I didn't know a lot about DBD before but I've been reading up on it since and am hella interested in it now. I love Sam and her dynamic with Frank plus the survivors; I'm excited to see where this goes! This might sound really cheesy but reading this has really brightened my week and I wanted to let you know I really love it, hope that's okay

But seriously, I love Sam: I put her through so much and she still comes out of it. (I mean, she can’t die, so she kinda has to, but still! Having to keep fighting when she doesn’t want to! She does not want to survive! And she does! I fuckin’ love this OC so much!) I’m so glad other people like her, and relate to her (honestly, fighting through things is really hard and she’s the kind of spiteful that’s productive and destructive in equal measure) because BRO SAME. Oof.

AND aaa I’m so happy to have gotten you into something new! 😊 I have no idea how I got into it exactly, though @selene-sins may have had something to do with me exploring the lore a lot more, and then looking into fanfic, and then looking into fanfic made me want to write it because [ha what no, i’m not horny for fear why would anyone ahaha whaaat noooo] you know, reasons!

I’m still working on more, still have a bunch of ideas that I can thank @selene-sins and @artemis-crimson for letting me bounce off of them, and 18 just went up because I have no patience at all!

Man, this makes me so frickin happy, oml. Sam means a lot to me, tbh. She’s not an example for anyone to follow, by any means, but writing other people’s struggle with recovery can be really therapeutic. >< Anyway, yeah. Thank you! So much!

Sitting on Copia’s bed, his cape draped around my shoulders and covered my entire body as I sat cross cross. Honestly it was like a blanket. I remembered when I used to tie a blanket around my neck when I was a kid and zoom throughout my house like a superhero.

A sly, playful smile crossed my lips as I buried the lowerhalf of my face under the fabric, “I took your cape and I’m not giving it back!”

“Yes, yes I can see that,” he chuckled as he walked over to me, “I am going to need that back for tonight, you know. I need to pack it for the tour.”

Sitting down beside me, Copia booped my nose with a gloved finger, a content hum escaping him, “....You know, if you like my cape so much, what if I make another one of this one sometime and you can keep this one? Because it seems you have an attachment to it.”

“Alright, deal,” I leaned in to kiss his cheek before moving my caped shoulder to where the fabric went around his opposite, “Because- not to be weird, but it smells and feels like you. Warm, smells like roses and cologne and a fireplace.”

Raising an eyebrow, Copia blinked, “You’ve got your scents down to a science, eh?”
