----- I know this is an extremely late post but the reason for that was being afraid of what I perceived as an implicit threat to hurt me further if I ever spoke out. I've been told by the friends(?) of people who are associated with those who either treated this as a joke or expressed their disliking for me based on the allegations that they genuinely do not want to engage in any further drama about this, so after a lot of support to speak out trusting that everyone's interested in burying the hatchet, I'll be giving my piece. AGAIN, this is not to resurrect old, dead drama, but to amend misunderstandings. I want to make it VERY CLEAR that I do not want this to be taken as an excuse to attack anybody. Everyone makes mistakes, I did, they did, we all did in one form or another. I don't want people on either side to be harassed from what I'm revealing. Of course, I want to make another clear apology to anybody that has either been hurt or distressed by me for any reason. I do not want to hurt anybody, that was never my intention and I'm deeply sorry for it. ----- Now to start, I want to make it extremely clear that I am not a supporter of any racism, pedophilia, anti-semitism or any other hateful, predatory or otherwise stupid attitudes or opinions. Many of those who have investigated me on a personal level or have known me for years can attest to this. However, I cannot blame anybody for misunderstanding my silence on the matter regardless of reason. Understand that a lot of the images shown and things said in the main allegation post are taken out of context. I do not believe it was made by the poster to intentionally frame me wrongly, but I hope the following helps understand what's my and my friend's perspectives on this. ==================== 1. Strimp's Characters Art This was an artwork that he endorsed himself as part of some @#$%posting we would do. I have no idea why he's decided to lie about this, but whatever. Regarding his age, I only recently-ish was told he was 19 by him in an unrelated Kirby server. Prior to this, I had no idea how old he was and it did not help that he'd engage with these kinds of jokes in the past. (I want to note that Strimp said he just turned 19 on January of 2022, his Twitter states his birthday's on August 13 and the artwork was made on March of 2020, which implies he was 18 and not a minor, but I digress.)

==================== 2. The Fairy Queen Drawing This artwork is one of poor taste. However, I remember it showing developed breasts and I think pubes as well. Regardless, I am told by a friend that it's real and we all agree that the art style presented was an extremely poor choice (one I will never replicate for obvious reasons), however I want to note that this artwork was apparently made in response to a request... there is reason to believe it might have been requested to cause trouble as troll accounts have been seen posting a sketched-version with red headphones, but I no longer have evidence of that. edit (12-16-2022): User DeafeningGardenerPanda has suggested that I strikethrough the above comment to clarify that I'm not trying to shift blame onto trolls for past artwork. "Raiding" of TG Server This is something that I do not understand why he calls a raid. This is a situation that was amended long before his post regarding two users egging on Strimp for having previously insulted the programmer , Wynaut, of the fangame " Project Ice Cream" - This situation was de-escalated and taken care of while alongside those who were banned and Light MetaS - we all agreed that tossing "brutal fighting-words" (memes) and egging on him "under his own roof" was grounds for a fair banning - Strimp was with us throughout this entire situation.

I do want to note that I have cought Wynaut starting arguments out of thin air with Strimp in public, which flies at the face of trying to operate in isolation on our project. Wynaut is no longer with us, so I cannot gather their reasoning for this. I cant agree with whatever Strimp wants to call the back-and-fourth, but I understand after investigating the timeline of events alongside Strimp's own friends that there was pointless drama fueling friction. Because Strimp (we believe) assumed that I knew this was going on, he likely thought I was involved in trying to start pointless fights. For more context regarding the events shortly prior to the allegation posts and Wynaut, the below images should detail it.

Edgy Political jokes regarding Kirby Characters To be honest, I fully take responsibility for the "Ultra Hyness", Meta-Knights Adeleine and Haltmann Conquerers memes - these are artworks made to laugh to between friends due to how ridiculous they are - specially as two of them are doing roman salutes. While I do nowadays better understand the sensitivity one can feel towards these types of jokes, I hope it makes sense that making fun of these things is to put them down and mock them, not to promote the context of their joke. I want to note that Strimp and his friends who promoted the allegations post share this type of edgy humor in one form or another, so I don't know why it was brought up in this light. I do want to re-state that if for whatever reason these jokes or types of @#$%posts have offended or hurt you somehow, that I am sorry. I truly mean it when I say that all I hoped was to make people laugh.

==================== 5. Regarding who I am as a person and Final Allegations. I want to note here that the following statements are not mine's but of people that have known me for a very long time. Although some may want to argue there's a bias involved, please take note of their honesty towards me and the mistakes I've done.

Both these statements come from friends/contributors of TG and Strimp, some of which y'all might recognize. In the past, I naively expected anyone genuinely interested in figuring out the truth of a situation to consider these kinds of opinions, but I'm only recently coming with the realization that I need make a statement of my own, as the silence has not contributed at all.

===== IMPOSTORS, ALTS AND TROLL ACCOUNTS ===== === https://twitter.com/MasterUja/status/1590906956843483136 === Below I will explain my experience with harassment campaigns that go back years and how they've affected this situation. Like many others, if you were unaware of this prior, you might come to realize that in this situation it is possible that both me and Strimp are victims and that this whole string of events is all a misunderstanding. Why did I argue that my accusers were/are playing foul? The history between me and harassment accounts go all the way back almost 5-6 years. As stated in one of the statements about me above, it was born from a splintering between people who wanted to use free speech to be rambunctious and those who wanted it as a cherry on top for a space meant for artists to make music videos and games. There are multiple people that can attest to having been invited to the split-off space years ago, they've described to me that this was a space where they would set up literal "fuck star" chatrooms and do nothing but plot raids against me, try to dig dirt non-stop and generally circle-jerk about how awful I am for calling them out as undesirables to the space. (Again, this is what I've been told - I personally avoided this space and had no interest in meddling in their free-will hence my general ignorance of it) PLEASE DO NOT hold the following stuff against those who perpetuated it. I do not want drama, but I want to let the world know what my whole perspective is and why there was friction between me and Team Gamble, friction that lead to the allegations post. For years, I've been begging the admin (Diamond) of the space to please ask that the particular members members involved with trolling tone it down and to not harass my friends. Over time of being told I was being a crazy conspiracy theorist for even thinking that, or be given a fake "safe space" to spill my guts with the admin, eventually limited to only asking those who were mutual friends that did not agree with the trolling but did want to keep in good terms with the splintered group, I've been sent this as a response when openly trying to rationalize if it's all a figment of my imagination or not.

I want to note that the questionable users have told me that this is a thing of the past and that they do not engage in this behavior anymore. However, I want to show this because it is critical to understanding what perspective I hold regarding why all of this has happened. The following Screenshots are public and were published by a twitter account that goes by "@TeamgambleT". In these screenshots, you can see the admin and users that previously thought of slandering me as fun, calling me slurs and other things closely interact with the inner circle of Team Gamble.

Below are examples of troll accounts that reacted to the fallout at DreamCrafter. Note the Date (if it matters)

AGAIN, I do not want to point fingers, but make it clear what shaped my perspective regarding this whole situation - What you make of it should be based on whatever all these things mean to you as an outside observer.

As of the time of writing this, this Twitter block list is exclusively made up of impostor, troll accounts and a few people who would spend time to spread allegations on me. When said accounts are looked through, they often interact closely with Team Gamble. Impostor accounts have a history of sexual misconduct with others, often minors and have a history of posting a lot of racially charged gay sex videos and other types of content making a mockery of skin color or sexual deviation. They've also been used across Discord to do similar activities. These accounts also have a history of harassing TNHGameRemixes for being black, which seems fueled by past friction between him and Strimp when I was being consoled and being helped in putting together evidence of troll account behavior.

Above are examples of impostor accounts interacting with people and even a popular gimmick account in a mock conversation. This account's best known for it's awesome "THE SKELETON APPEARS" meme. People might have noticed that the account is also used to refer to me by name to target me, and only did so once it knew of my new account which contrasts with the prior interactions of "owning" me for fake NFTs. I personally do not mind this, but it's worth noting the same people that participate in a lot of the content above are related to the few gimmick accounts. A reason for my silence has been the fear of the implicit threat to use said gimmick accounts to target me in retaliation for any drama that might arise from explaining my side publicly. It would certainly explain why an account of over 25k followers would target one with less than 50. However, again, this is just an explanation of my perspective and the silence I've held onto. The folks behind this content should be allowed to thrive making content that is fun and meme-tastic. Although i would prefer not being targeted like this, I would lie if I said I do not enjoy the account's content and memey edge. ....

Lastly, I want to make it clear, once again, that my intention is to explain my side for once and let people see what things look like from me and my friend's perspective - to understand my personal reasons to having stayed silent and why I feel like I'm taking an incredible risk to post this online. I've made it clear to many people throughout the whole time, going back over a year in private phone calls and even people who would allow me to vent about this that all I wish is peace with others. That I do not blame anybody for having issue with my past jokes and sense of humor. I live with the shame of thinking I might have hurt somebody, and am reminded every. single. day. But even through it all, I still reach out hope that these things can be amended and that everyone involved could agree to bury the hatchet and move forward our own ways. I've been silent, isolated and trying to only do things in my own space - not bothering anybody, not interacting with the greater fandom, dealing with the unavoidable anxiety and stress that I can only imagine would make anybody weaker-willed think of suicide as a viable escape. People have been hurt from this, including those the people involved with trolling and fake allegations called their close friends. There are victims of this that churn my heart every time I think about them and the guilt they expressed for all this. The following images are posted not with permission, but I hope that those who saw this person as a very close friend can understand the amount of harm they're causing others by enabling all this pointless, overblown allegation nonesense.

I thank anybody from the depths of my heart for reading through this. I genuinely feel like in retaliation I might be targeted with a force beyond my imagination, so please understand how I feel to post this and why I was silent. As a last note, This was a public apology I made on my last Twitter account. It was made under the supervision of Strimp and some friends of his that helped get in touch. Sadly the conversation was not perfect on his part, but I hope it expresses how badly I wish that this can all be put behind and for all this harassment to stop - but also express how deeply sorry I am for anybody I would have hurt in the past.

If Fates' child mechanics could be improved, story wise, what would you do? Because I do genuinely love the kids as characters but they were done DIRTY by the excuse plot and reasons for them to be there.

That reminds me of something else I’ve meant to say about how the Fates child mechanics really really doesn’t work. Actually several things, one big one and a bunch of other little ones.

It’s obvious that the thought process was “well, people liked Awakening and Awakening had XYZ, so let’s add it in again!” without taking into account that Awakening built its story around time travel. Even if you didn’t get any S-supports, Lucina is still there. It’s a major plot point. Grima is still there, also having time-traveled. You can’t separate the time travel from the main plot, so from there it’s natural that Lucina would have some friends who came back with her, and thus you get the kids.

We’ve discussed how Fates’ baby dimension is silly. Yeah hang on let’s all just have kids during a war and throw them into an Outrealm pocket dimension where they’ll grow up real quick and we can have more soldiers for our army. If a tree falls in a forest and nobody’s around to hear it - if a situation so fantastical happens that it couldn’t have been written about in any human rights documentation, is it still a war crime? Several other issues I have with it before I get into the big one I wanted to talk about:

Even if we presume that the ladies are spending the duration of their pregnancy also in a pocket dimension where time passes differently in relation to the outside world, that’s still the equivalent of nine months that they are experiencing. That’s (equivalent to) several months that they’re not going to be able to train when the pregnancy is far along or when they’re recovering. Even if it seems like just a few days passed outside, they’re physically going to be lagging behind where they were when they entered the outrealm.

Azura and fCorrin would do that twice.

After they yeet the first of their female friends into a pocket dimension off the astral plane so that she can time-lapse her pregnancy, you would think that someone in the army would figure out some sort of birth control spell/concoction/herb/something so that they don’t have to worry about this again. That’s just good common sense, something we know Corrin lacks, but somebody else surely would suggest it. I feel like Camilla would have that under control - not to insinuate like that she’s a slut or something, but I mean that her older sister vibes tell me that she has the knowledge and supplies to dump on her three younger siblings to inform them how to have relationships safely without fear of unwanted children “and if anyone tries to pressure you otherwise, tell me and I’ll cut their head off” ;3c. She’s like that, I think.

And then the other big and uncomfortable problem with this setup is: some of the character ages.

Like, in Awakening, you’ve got Donnel, Ricken, and Lissa who seem the youngest. Depending on Robin’s gender and how the pairings fall, I think you could end up with two unmarried guys, so you could just have Donnel and Ricken not have children, but if you want to get every character you’ve got to have Lissa get married. I put her at 16/18 during the two parts of the game. Not a great age to have a kid at - but the thing about Awakening’s time travel is that she’s not having a kid at that age. Owain’s from the future, and the only child born during the events of the game is Lucina. It still felt a little weird to see those younger ones getting married, Lissa might be getting a ring now from someone just as young as she is (in the middle of a war) but kids are still years off. That...somewhat lessens the discomfort.

And then. sigh. then there’s Fates. Where no pocket dimensions and strange flow-of-time can get around the fact of character ages, because their children might be growing up fast but they are not from the future. Those kids are born during the course of the game. And like! Elise and Sakura! They’re my baby sisters! I don’t want my baby sisters to be teen moms during a war! That’s just weird and gross and uncomfortable! They’re my baby sisters. I want to find my siblings good partners but I’m not going to matchmake for my baby sisters if that’s the result.

So looping all the way back around to your question - I have no idea, honestly. Anything except time travel/coming from an entirely alternate timeline in the future has all of the above problems baked in, and then future-kids is just an Awakening rehash. Like I was about to suggest that it’d be interesting if for Birthright/Conquest, the kids came from an alternate timeline of the other path, where their side lost the war, but firstly that’s just Awakening rehashed again, secondly Corrin spares as many people as possible so we don’t have dead parents, and honestly it’s not even a dark dire future in Awakening. Like for Nohr in Birthright, Leo gets crowned king of Nohr, his kid is going to have no drive to come back and change the past because it’s fine, there’s holes in the family where Aunt Elise and Uncle Xander are missing, but this is not dire enough to need to find a way to change fate. And thirdly, for the few characters who do die - since we’re using Birthright as the example, Elise and Xander - that would mean that their kids were born before the end of the route, which runs into that same Elise problem! If you wanted “the kids as refugees from a dire timeline” it’d have to be one where Garon won and then again, just play Awakening for that plot.

Conceptually I think it’s interesting to draw the kids in from a different timeline where Corrin made the other choice - “Roddy what about Revelation?” I don’t fucking know man - and see how they react to Corrin being on that side, fighting for their country, with their parents, but... then that runs into the problem of spoiling the other route. Like if you played Conquest first and Xander’s kid says he died before they were born, well, that’s awkward. And again, Elise - in Conquest you could pair her with like, Kaze, who was with Corrin the whole time, always on Corrin’s side no matter what, and then that creates a plot hole of it having been literally impossible for that kid to have come from a Birthright-esque timeline because they couldn’t have existed then because Kaze could’ve even died before Corrin reunites with Elise. No, that concept can’t work. Too much potential for plot holes and stretching too weirdly to try and cover it.

I don’t know. I don’t know if you can fix it without becoming an Awakening rehash or turning Fates into something entirely different...which, it’s Fates. Might not be a bad thing to do that.

‘Tis almost the season! Sign-ups open on Monday, October 19, 2020!

I’m new in all of this, so I’d like to know what’s the purpose of the check-in dates. What do we have to do in those?

The first check-in is just to make sure that you are still interested in participating and are ok with your assignment. We understand that real life can get in the way sometimes. We ask that people let us know as soon as possible if they think they need to pull out. The second check-in is to ask when the gift will be posted. The reason for this is that last year we had several dropouts who confirmed they were going to make a gift at check-ins but did not post a gift. The second check-in will allow us to assign to pinch-hitter sooner.

Maybe the second check-in is too close to the posting time? If a pinch-hitter is needed.

Thanks for your thoughts, anon. The second check-in is a little late, and we will adjust our schedule to give you five days between the second check-in and the posting period. However, we are keeping it at a later date for a pretty good reason.

Unfortunately, we assigned most of our pinch-hitters at the end of the posting period last year. We had several dropouts who confirmed with us at our midpoint check-ins but did not post a gift. To avoid that this year, we’re having two check-ins, and at the second check-in, we will ask you when you plan to post. We understand that some people need less time than others to complete a gift, but everyone should have started and have an ETA for completion five days before the posting period. A late second check-in might help us make sure everyone receives a gift on time!

Could you perhapse have multiple days for assignments incase someone has a personal issue with someone they are supposed to make content for and can let you know?

We certainly understand where you’re coming from with this suggestion. Unfortunately, since we give people 72 hours to respond to each moderator contact (and we will be asking our participants to confirm that they accept their assignment), separate assignment days would have to take place over (possibly) weeks—6 days at least for 2 assignments, 9 days for 3 assignments, 12 days for 4 assignments, etc.—if we waited for each wave of participants to accept before moving on to the next. We feel that this approach would significantly cut into the creation period. Additionally, the sign-up application will provide a space where you can list people that you do not want to receive a gift from or make a gift for. We encourage everyone to be honest on their application, and if someone is uncomfortable with the person they are assigned, contact a moderator sooner rather than later.

what about art styles that don't really do clean lineart but do include colors/complexity/etc, or multiple sketchier drawings/comic strip type things?

A minimum of 8 gifs could be a lot if it's an edited gifset. I can see it being okay for a slightly colour-changed gifset with a filter over it, but for more creative gifs it can be way too much.

Thank you for this helpful feedback! This is exactly the kind of thing we want to hear. Admittedly, all three moderators are writers. We do our best to make good rules, but sometimes we don’t take all the variables into account. We’ll lower the minimum from 8 to 4.

I tend to write a lot when I get excited; would it be a problem if I write more than 1k?

Not a problem at all! We totally understand this excitement and allow our Secret Santas to produce at or above the required minimum for their specific type of gift. When creating these gifts, please take into consideration your assigned person’s likes and dislikes.

Two things to keep in mind:

1) Please consider the number of days for creation (a maximum of 47 days). Assignments will go out on November 15, with two check-ins occurring on December 1 and December 15. All gifts must be 100% complete before posting between December 21, 2020 and January 1, 2021.

2) If you decide to produce your gift above the required minimum, please do not expect your Secret Santa to do the same. As long as they meet the minimum requirement, it is considered a complete gift.

I think they're mostly fine, although, would ships that have them meet when one is a minor and the other an adult, but they're currently both adults be allowed? I understand that this exchange is a way to build bridges in the fandom, but I'm not sure if that's going to work if one of the most popular ships is completely excluded.

Yes, as long as you portray both characters as adults when including romantic or sexual content in your gift, you are free to ship whoever you’d like to (besides incest) no matter when they met. Our rules prohibit major/minor sexual or romantic relationships—minor meaning 17 years old and under and major meaning 18 years old or older. As long as you’re not including sexual or romantic tones that take place when one character is a minor within your otherwise adult/adult ship gift, we’re good. Keep it all non-sexual and non-romantic until both characters are adults.

(As an aside, some people may remember that this exchange had an additional exception for major/minor shipping for small age gap relationships last year; however, no one took advantage of that exception, and it complicated the rules quite a bit. Therefore, we decided to draw a hard line and leave it at that. There’s no judgment there; we’re just trying to craft rules that work for most people.)

Please also keep in mind that we also allow alternate universes and canon-divergent situations in this exchange. A hallmark of fandom is being free to imagine! We feel it would be almost impossible (and unfair to the differing, though equally valid points of view in the FMA fandom) to set ages for every character and then to enforce such a restrictive rule.

I think the exchange should allow M and E works, and to create/receive them you have to be 18+—but in order to not pressure minors to self-identity, have the question of whether they're over 18 be optional. (So it's basically, "If you're interested in NSFW and meet the age requirement, check this box.") And unless I misread the definition of pedophilia, it seems to exclude kid/kid relationships. Which I don't personally enjoy, but I know some people like kidfic or "through the years" fics, which are pretty harmless IMO as long as they're not physical/sexual.

We hear you anon. My fellow moderators and I have had many conversations about the rating of this event. We think it’s best to stick to a blanket PG-13 rating. However, there is a footnote that you might be interested in:

This Fullmetal Alchemist Secret Santa Gift Exchange takes no stance regarding “Mature” or “Explicit” content added to the original Secret Santa offering. Please post additional content separately from the Secret Santa offering (separate reblog, post, or additional chapter). Such additions or continuations are at the discretion of the gift giver.

The second part of your comment requires a more in-depth analysis. While there are some restrictions, kid/kid ships are not completely excluded. We exclude sexual interest, sexual attraction, or sexual relationships between any character and another character who is 13 years old or younger. We don’t have many shipping exclusions for characters who are 14-17 years old as long as they are shipped to other 14-17 year old characters.

Specifically, our rules prohibit pedophilia (which we define as a sexual interest, sexual attraction, or sexual relationship by any character to a character who is 13 years old or younger) and major/minor sexual or romantic relationships. While we regret that the pedophilia definition is overbroad, in that it can define someone under 16 years old as a pedophile, subdividing the rules further would make them even more complicated. To grasp the intent of both the pedophilia rule and the major/minor exclusion as it affects kidfics, look to our wording, particularly the part where we say sexual interest, sexual attraction, or sexual relationship.

To wit, sexual can be defined as, “relating to the instincts, physiological processes, and activities connected with physical attraction or intimate physical contact between individuals.” For example, if an 8 year old and a 9 year old hold hands and walk down the street having thoughts about how special they are to each other, we would not consider this sexual. If that same 8 year old and 9 year old hold hands and think about wanting to act intimately while jaunting down the street, we would consider that sexual. Innocent physical contact alone wouldn’t break the rule; it’s a character’s intent that matters most here.

Therefore, a participant can make a through-the-years work with a prepubescent setting included so long as any kid/kid shipping is not sexual in nature. To the extent that these rules may appear to allow romantic relationships between minors of all ages, all I have to say is that it wouldn’t be PG-13 to have a 9 year old with a romantic, albeit non-sexual, interest in a 16 year old (or vice versa). I haven’t run across a a lot of media with older minors being romantically linked to younger minors in the fandom, so I’m hopeful that we don’t need to be too worried.

Oh my, that was long. I hope that helps explain our rules a little better.

Just a question: out of curiosity, will this event be having a discord server or some other way for the members to talk to each other?

There will be no discord server for this event. Several reasons include:

1) Secret Santa identities should remain anonymous until posting dates. No participant should be able to figure out who their Secret Santa is,

2) we want to avoid conversations which may allude to a participant’s specific gift,

3) after a long consideration, the moderators have decided that this year’s event will be conducted via Tumblr platform only. All participants will need to have a Tumblr account in order to be contacted via the chat.

Yes, the person being gifted can request for a specific gift. However, the sign up form will also ask for a backup gift type that the participant is willing to receive. The mods, to the best of our abilities, will match up a participant with a Secret Santa who will be able to produce said gift.

Assignments will go out on or after November 15, 2020. Should you have any concerns with the person assigned to you--their gift requests or otherwise, please contact one of the mods as soon as possible.

Will there be an option (if ships are allowed) to opt out of ships of adult/minor characters over the age of 13?

The sign up form will ask your likes and dislikes (i.e. favorite pairing or preferred genre), including what kind of gifts you are not and are willing to receive. If you prefer to opt out of a specific type of pairing, please note it during sign up.

So. A few things before I'd start this: - funny name haha but to be clear: it's not my cs name, obvio; - I'm a total outsider to this drama; - this is all just how I see and understand the situation. - exuse me if I mess up the pronouns, my first language has no gendered pronouns so it's a bit harder for me to remember them.

First, the ages, because apparently this needs to be clarified. According to kraubbage here: "without disclosing too much of the minor’s personal information, they turned 16 in september to december, 2020. cambion turned 18 in january, 2020". Just to be clear. It's literally 2 years.

Okay, so! Let's start with the obvious fact that sending NSFW shit to any minor is bad. But! It's much, MUCH different when it comes to the relationship between the two people and the context/why it was sent. From what I've read, this connection between our two subjects, as described by kraubbage here: "the minor and cambion were extremely good friends at the time[...]". So they were very good friends back then, we have the connection between the two when it happened. And right after that, kraubbage says in the same note: "and often share sexually suggestive content with each other (which i stayed out of btw[...])". There's the context! Just teenagers basically being teenagers. Because you probably know that teens do this - hell, even I did this as a teen with a similiarly good friend of mine, and I'm an adult now. And who's to say YOU didn't do it as a teen/are doing it even nowadays as a teen? - and that's fine. I'm gonna get nuked for this but think about this: teens doing shit like obsessing over a fandom/character and of course all that NSFW that younger people made had to come from somewhere.

Now, let's look at the issue: cambion, as an 18 years old adult sent NSFW art to the 16 years old minnor. Let me just put some more info here about this that most people seem to either not read or just dismiss because they see "Adult sent porn to minor" and refuse to accept/look at the notes for more info: (All of these are according to kraubbage) - as I've said this above, their relationship being great friends who sometimes sent/send each other NSFW stuff - cambion has turned 18 literally just the day they sent the art.

Cambion. Was literally only an adult. On paper. For a FEW HOURS that day. They haven't been 18 for a day, nor two, but only a few hours. Tell me now, does a human's brain/mindset/behaviour switch from a teen's to an adult's at once as soon as the date turns to their 18th birthday? Because I don't think it does. To quote Anonymous here: "[...] just because someone turns 18 doesn't mean they're this big bad scary adult all of a sudden. it was definitely irresponsible and dickish of cambion but they're still a child in everything but name.[...]". Please think about this. Is all this hate really fair?

And just a few more things to keep in mind: People can change. Why do you all think that just because it happened once they'll definitely, undeniably will do it again? Why do y'all think they don't regret it? Don't you think we'd need more info about these before doing what y'all seem to love to do and jump to conclusions? But oh, wait- We DO have that info. Let me quote just the last few words for you lazies here: "[...] but i dont intend on causing more trouble again." Gather more information before reaching for your pitchforks. Seriously, y'all seem to really like not doing more research and asking/listening to what the "bad guys" have to say. If it's obvious then it's obvious. But in this case, where we have someone who knows more about the situation than any of us "outsiders" then please just be a little more open minded and at least LISTEN to what they have to say. Listen to them, analyze what they said (e.g. does the info contradict itself in other of their posts?), maybe even ask for more info if you can, and THEN draw your conclusions. Simple as that. Don't dismiss these posts as "Oh, they're only trying to defend them cuz they're friends!!4!" or some shit. Especially if the person being defended wrote a fucking apology.

In conclusion: - Is it ok to send NSFW to minors? Obviously not. - Was cambion an adult when they sent the NSFW art? Literally only for some hours. It was literally the day of their 18th birthday, they were still practically a minor. - Did cambion apologize for what they did? Yes. This is the mobile version of our FAQ page. While this post will be edited whenever changes are made, the FAQ page will always be the most recent version.

About the Litmag

What is Shall We Read ? It is a recurring online literary magazine. Within each issue we aim to showcase the works of eighteen talented writers and eight brilliant artists within the YoI fandom! Following the Pilot, the issues released in 2018 will have a combined total of 54 writer and 24 artist slots available for content creators to fill.

What’s the point of a fandom litmag? Shall We Read aims to do three things:

Show appreciation for the fandom’s content creators via publication and monetary compensation.

Give content creators a chance to work on a zine project.

Give subscribers a chance to influence the content that may appear in the litmag’s issues.

All contributors will be paid for their hard work with the proceeds of that issue from sales on Itch.io. If you are interested in participating, see our writer and artist applications!

Who is behind this litmag? The litmag’s organisers are Lily, Wrath, Nica, Rae, and Robbie. You can get to know us better on our Staff page!

What kind of content will be in the litmag? A list of all the litmag’s issues can be found here. Each issue will offer both SFW and NSFW pieces. NSFW content will only be accessible by customers who pay 10 USD or higher.

SFW: approximately 14 writing pieces, 5 art pieces

NSFW appendix: approximately 4 writing pieces, 3 art pieces

Each issue will have a theme, though contributors are not obligated to follow it for their piece. Themes will act more as a foundation for kickstarting ideas as opposed to being a strict requirement.

Themes for the Pilot and the first two issues will be chosen by the litmag’s organisers. Subsequent issues’ themes will be chosen through a “theme lottery” from a pool of suggestions by our 5 USD and up customers. More information regarding theme lotteries will be available closer to the start of production for Issue 3.

Content will be varied. Warnings for potentially upsetting content such as major character death will be labeled above each piece, as well as mentioned in the issue’s table of contents.

What kind of content will not be in the litmag? Pieces featuring explicit shows of non-con, dub-con, and/or underage characters in sexually explicit scenarios will not be published in the litmag. Characters must be visibly depicted as adults in order to be placed in graphically sexual situations.

Double-checking: Will there be NSFW content? Yes, a NSFW Appendicks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) will be available for as low as 10 USD. The bulk of the litmag is, however, SFW so as to not bar content creators below the age of 18 from participating.

Which ships and characters are allowed in the litmag? All ships and characters are welcome in the litmag. We will be providing labels for pairings and warnings for readers.

For Prospective Customers

How much will it cost? It’s up to you! Shall We Read is a publication that aims to be accessible to all fans. For 1 USD, the litmag’s Baseline tier grants you access to a SFW issue with approximately 19 SFW pieces (14 writing, 5 art). How do I access the NSFW version of the litmag? The NSFW Appendicks is only available to customers who pay 10 USD or more.

Why does the NSFW edition cost more than the SFW edition? The difference between the SFW and the NSFW prices is that the baseline is to maximise accessibility, but the higher price of the NSFW is to help make sure our content creators are compensated fairly for their effort.

We do strongly believe all of these pieces are worth more than 1 USD, but we also want to make sure everything is as reasonably accessible as we can make it.

For Prospective Participants

Who can participate? All writers and artists—regardless of age—who have created content for YoI, meet our minimum content creation requirements, and are open to creating more YoI works are welcome to apply for the SFW portion of the litmag. NSFW contributors must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

What do I need when applying? You will be asked to provide samples of your work along with your application, which must be uploaded to the anonymous file hosting site we will provide in our application form in order to be considered. The submissions will only be viewed by our review team—no one else will be privy to your application, including your links.

Writer samples: Up to two (2) curated works, in a PDF file without your author name or any other identifying marks in the file or filename, showcasing your writing ability as well as the level of quality you will be contributing to this project.

Samples must be written in English.

They should total no less than 1,000 and no more than 3,000 words.

At least 1 sample should feature characters from YoI.

Artist samples: Three (3) completed art samples showcasing your style to the best of your ability, as well as the level of quality you will be contributing to this project.

1 piece should incorporate a complete, full background.

1 piece should have a person’s entire body.

At least 1 piece should feature characters from YoI.

Do I need anything extra to apply for a NSFW slot? Writers: One additional piece of 500-1,000 words that showcases your ability to write NSFW. It does not have to be YoI, though that is greatly preferred. An excerpt from a larger piece is acceptable.

Artists: One additional art piece that showcases your ability to draw NSFW. It does not have to be YoI, though that is greatly preferred.

As a reminder, applicants interested in a NSFW slot must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

What is the expected length? Writers will be expected to write one (1) English YoI fanfiction with a minimum word count of 1,000 words (maximum 5,000). Artists will be expected to contribute either a single page drawing, a spread, or a comic.

What is the schedule? We are looking at (at least) three issues: one in April-May, one in June-July, and one in August-September. For specific dates, please visit our Schedule page.

How do I get to create NSFW content for the litmag? We will designate specific people for the NSFW Appendicks. Those people must be over 18 and have demonstrated through their application their ability to write/draw NSFW. For more details on the NSFW supplement of the application, please visit our Writer or Artist applications.

What do I get out of it? All contributors get their issue for free, as well as an equal cut of the profits from purchases of that issue, so the more friends you can convince to buy your issue, the more you get paid!

Rinley 'M’ Yatskaya

Not that long ago ago...

"Story!” young Rinley said, grabbing on to her sister’s leg. Rinley was at the age where her sentences were typically only a word or two long.

Caroline smiled indulgently, lifting Rinley up and walking around the temple. She sat down by Grizzly, a calico who liked hearing tales too.

“All right. But it will have to be short. I need to go to the market to get some apples to poison and it’s getting late. So let’s tell a story about someone else short -- you, Rinley.”

“There is one man that all fear. One who is unstoppable. One whose motives are inscrutable. He comes to all. Brave men fear him; fear of him is what makes them brave. Wise men seek to avoid him, though their wisdom leads them to eventually learn this is folly. I speak, of course, of Death.”

Rinley clapped. “Brother!”

Caroline nodded. “Yes. He’s much nicer to you than he was to me growing up. He’s never pulled your hair or put a spider down the back of your shirt.” But she said it affectionately. The childhood antics of Kuroma were just a memory.

“None know why Death chooses to end lives. And none know why he chooses to spare others. But all were surprised when one day, while walking along the shore of Big Lake, he found the wreckage of a boat washed ashore. And clinging on for its life was a baby rat, which he chose to spare.”

Rinley held her little paws up. “Me!” she said.

Caroline nodded. “Yes. You. I don’t know why; normally we don’t like rats very much. But Kuroma took you home. He saw something special in you. You’d been born at sea, and maybe that whispered to him, as our family was founded by a selkie. Or maybe the fact you were barely holding on, on the threshold of life and death, called to the part of him that was death. Perhaps it was the fact that he found you on the anniversary of the day mama disappeared. Or maybe he thought you were cute,” Caroline said, poking Rinley’s belly.

“Yes!” Rinley said.

“To be honest, I thought you’d be eaten within the week --” Caroline began.

“Fish tastes better,” Grizzly interrupted, grooming her paw.

“-- true, but you know some cats are less particular,” Caroline responded conversationally. “But anyway, I was wrong. The cats took to you as well as anyone. And Goro, when he found you, rather than being annoyed said that you should be adopted.

“I wanted to name you Minnie, because you were so tiny. But the rest of the family said you were a Rinley.”

“Yes!” said the little rat.

Background

Caroline pretty much told Rinley’s origin story above. She grew up in the Yatskaya shrine, surrounded by cats, raised as a member of the family. Occasionally Fortitude Rats came to parley with Caroline, or discuss the cat population. They were invariably put off by Rinley, and the feeling was mutual. But for the most part, it was a mystic and mellow upbringing.

Recently, however, she’s been coming into herself, or out of the shell that is the temple. She realizes she’s changing, and believes it’s a good thing. She doesn’t want to hold it back anymore (if Frozen has made it to your version of Fortitude, she probably loves the song Let It Go), and doesn’t want others to hold back either. She’s ready to dive in to life, seeking new experiences.

Skills:

Superior Non-Fortitude Fortitude Rat 2 -- Rinley would never admit to being a Rat of the Far Roofs, but this skill comes in useful when you need to be 18 inches tall or have a tail.

Story Teller 1 -- Rinley has always had a love for stories

Cat Magic 1 -- ...Including their spirits

Connection 1: Death -- She has always had a special bond with her older brother. It’s possible she also has a bond with the Headmaster, though she’s never met him.

Connection -1: The Rats of the Far Roofs -- They’re just so weird.

[Bonus Slot] Perk: Accessory - Evening Primrose jewelry -- Rinley has a piece of jewelry that was designed as a bracelet for a human, but she can wear as a necklace or belt. It is a silver chain with a realistic evening primrose hanging from it. The Primrose is carved from old ivory, so old it has yellowed to the point it is the color of the flower. Its origin is unknown, though probably it’s connected to more than a long-dead animal. (Since I know ivory is a sensitive subject, I’m assuming Rinley knows somehow it wasn’t taken from a living animal, but one who passed away peacefully, and has an association with death. A piece fo the tusk of an elephant god?) See the power under Prophet for more.

Miraculous Arcs

Prophet 2/Creature of Delerium 1

Prophet

Rinley is deeply connected with death, After all, she was saved by Death and raised among nine-lived beings in a mystic environment. But not the “you’re no longer alive” aspect of death. She's connected with the symbolic meaning of Death, its representation in the Tarot. She's associated with the aspect of Personal Change, or Self Transformation, depending on which wording better suits the situation This is her Principle. She’s probably not actively aware of this. She's consciously going around trying to upset the status quo. But she's an agent of this whether she wants to be or not. (She does. Your character doesn’t get to be called The Troublemaker by chance.) Of course, this has created enemies. Obviously, not everyone wants change and the uncertainty it brings. In the Glass Maker's Dragon, she's probably opposed by The Moon Prince, who seeks for people to let go, to stop changing. I suspect she may also be opposed by Billy Sovereign, whose vision is not quite a world of changelessness, but one in which there is but one kind of change, where you become sycophants of Billy Sovereign. It's even possible she'll butt heads with the Dream Witch or someone else who wishes a return to old fashioned ways, though I advise that to be more a friendly rivalry than outright hostility if the Dream Witch is a PC. Rinley has the following powers associated with this Mystic Arc. If you're trying to become more mystical, which isn't the default but there's an option in her quest set, she also has Frantic. Divine Guidance: When Rinley is uncertain what do do, she can form a Level 4 Intention, at no Will cost, to "Listen to the subtle ways that change is all around us." Usually this is an HG hint as to what might foster change in this situation. She also, when using Divine Guidance, may understand symbols and motifs of death, even when unfamiliar with them. When she uses this power to serve the principle of change, she gains a +3 tool bonus. Finally, when opposed by a bleak power, this can shatter the effects, creating a chaotic backlash that affects Rinley and the target, essentially inflicting a Serious Wound. This power can be used once or twice a book at no cost. Subsequent uses cost 1 MP. For 2 MP, Rinley can use this with any intention. Divine Guidance (Powered Up): If Rinley can sustain the Intention of Divine Guidance for an entire chapter, she can cause a major sort of change in the Region. A downtown neighborhood could get a facelift, a school could adopt a new curriculum, or a medical organization may decide that exercise and diet are bad for your mental health, and change to suggesting eating only butter because it feels good emotionally. Materialization of Possibility When you're facing a problem you can't deal with, you (or someone) needs to change. Rinley can invoke Materialization of Possibility to use personal change to solve an immediate problem. This power can take many forms, often a Tool Bonus or temporary Perk. This can be used once or twice a book at no cost. For 1 MP, this can make things somewhat more likely or powerful. For 4 MP it makes something much more likely or more powerful. Example: Rinley is being chased by the First Free Dog, because she stole its favorite squeaky toy on a whim. Materialization of Possibility might give her a +1 bonus to persuade him that rope toys are more fun, changing his outlook. If she runs through a pet store and spends 1 MP, the First Free Dog may see the ideal new toy. For 4 MP, she might decide it's time to change herself and stop treating dogs as inferior to cats, gaining the Superior Dog Speaker 4 Perk to telepathically explain herself to the undead pup.

Inspiration

RInley draws inspiration from places where her aspect of death is not weak. Much of Little Island and the Walking Fields are out of bounds, due to their properties of “things can’t change before they’re ready” and “What happens is what always happened,” respectively, but there are exceptions there where Death and Change are strong enough -- the memorial statue of Jade Irinka; or during a Wild Hunt, for example..

While in these places, she can invoke Inspiration to have her Story Telling and Game Playing Skills transform, becoming The Story Telling and The Games of Transformation. They will always have a minimum Intention of 4, and ignore 1-2 points of Obstacle. They also function as if they were Superior 1 Skills; her stories seem particularly inspirational; the dice seem to favor her, forcing you to adapt your strategy.

In places hallowed by death/rebirth -- important mausoleums, holidays about Death, etc., these skills function as Level 2 Superior Skills. Rinley plays games on a master level revealing the need for you to adapt, and her tales stir the hearts of the most callous person.

Inspiration can be used 1-2 times per scene at no cost. It costs 1 MP for subsequent uses, or 4 MP to use it as many times as needed per scene.

Vestments

In the language of flowers, Evening Primrose is a symbol of fickleness, or inconstancy. A sign that people change. While Rinley doesn’t always wear it, her jewelry can function as if she were in a place where death is strong enough for her to get the lowest advantages of a Superior 1 skill with Inspiration.

(Sometimes Rinley leaves this at the the temple, because cats like to paw at dangling things on chains.)

This is a bonus perk, noted above.

Hallow

Over the course of several months*, or instantly for 4 MP, Rinley can make a place sacred to her principle, giving it the Property People are driven to do something different with their lives.

* Normally Hallow takes years to invoke, but as a rat her lifespan is, like, seven or eight years, so I’ve reduced is slightly.

Creature of Delerium 1

Rinley wants people to change, to achieve their potential. They don’t do that though, and she always wondered why. She only recently realized the answer when a cat spirit spoke to her. “You can’t just wait for the door to open so you’re on the other side You need to yowl incessantly. You can’t wait for the Ming vase to fall; you must push it yourself. They who hesitate are lost.”

And the spirit taught her the truth, feelings of hesitation. This is her Experience. Or course, making a deal with a Cat Spirit to learn more about how to help people has a downside. Rinley sometimes notices it affecting her way of thinking. That’s a curse, though she may not realize it’s a problem.

Also, while on Creature of Delerium, Rinley gains the power Sickly.

Embodiment

Whenever Rinley has been in an area for more than a few minutes, a Region Property forms: Rinley feels no hesitation.

Extraction

Rinley may, by touching someone on the shoulder, remove their sense of hesitation. (Getting to their shoulder may require some climbing, but such is life.) Their sense of hesitation takes the form of a small chain (holding them back, get it?). Someone without hesitation isn’t necessarily going to do stupid impulsive things, but they’re not going to let what was holding them back from what they wanted stop them without a solid reason,

Rinley can affect their sense of hesitation by manipulating the chain, wrapping it around a particular object to make the person hesitate over it. She could also theoretically use Cat Magic to affect it, presumably making the person hesitate over what would make a cat hesitate.

She can return their sense of hesitation with no effort; others face an Obstacle 2 Action.

Using Extraction can be done for free once per chapter; subsequent uses cost 2 MP.

Command

Rinley may see through the senses of someone who she has extracted their sense, or direct their actions. Normally, this faces a Level 2 Obstacle, though that can be waived for 1 MP. While doing this, Rinley is considered the vessel for purposes of any Miracle targeting it.

Catharsis

When RInley targets you with a miracle, the effect can be emotionally powerful. (This includes interacting with command.) Since she wants people to change, this is very convenient.

This can be used twice per book (but once per chapter) for free, It costs 2MP for a third use; and 4MP to use more than once per chapter.

Notes

Prophet is an easy Arc to visualize, and hard to pin down when writing it. I felt I could have made most of the powers’ listings much longer.

The Victorian language of flowers has a few plants that signify death, but I think they signify the I Want You To No Longer Breathe aspect, not the change aspect. Evening Primrose isn’t perfect, but it’s as close as I could come.

If you’re using this as an alternate Rinley for a GMD campaign, a few possible suggestions:

Substitue the Rat Prince(ss) for the Straw Haired Child if you are looking for a lead. They’re the first Fortitude Rat she’s met that’s interesting, then she loses them to something.

Rinley’s quests and emotion XP work pretty well for this character. If you want her a emotion XP to be a little more serious than Groan, I’d consider Fist Shake.

When Rinley interacts with they Titovs, I’m pretty sure that she isn’t going to accidentally free Iolithae. Instead, she’s going to “accidentally” free Iolithae.

General Info & Rules

While erotica (NSFW stories) is within the site's TOS, artwork could potentially cause the blog to be flagged. For this reason, written pieces will be posted uncensored but artwork will be censored. The uncensored work will be posted on an external site which will ask the viewer to confirm their age.

How to Use It

Signing up includes suggesting prompts that will be given to another. These prompts will be paired based on preferred pairings and category of gift and will factor in triggers.

When the sign up is closed, you will be notified of your exchange partner's prompts from which you can choose. The list of exchange pairs will be posted when everyone has been assigned a Kira.

Note: If you notice one of your prompts is not listed in the announcement for assigned Kira-exchange-pairs, it is probably because your partner gave us a triggerwarning that matched that prompt but otherwise you were a good match.

FAQ

“Who can participate?”

We expect all participants to understand that this is an exchange intended for adults and to know the laws and the age of majority of their region or nation.

Though we will show restraint whereever possible, we will defer to tumblr to handle any violation of TOS that poses a threat to any participant. This includes harassment or maliciously revealing their identity.

“How skilled do I have to be to participate?”

We accept works of any skill level, The effort you put into your gift will be what counts. However, be reasonable, please don't send us stick figures or haikus...

“Will I be given credit for my work?”

As long as you want to be identified. (Please, see the template above) If you do not, we can list you as anonymous or you can be named in another way. The submission you send in, if you want to be anonymous will be posted in a now post not related to your blog.

"What is the rating system?"

General (G), Teen+(T), Mature (M), or R-18+.

General is free of adult themes and described violence. (Ex. Light and L holding hands)

Teen+ is some violence and minor adult themes. (Ex. Light and L holding hands while nude but obscured)

Mature is strong non-explicit themes and strong violence. (Ex. Light and L holding hands while nude but unobscured)

"How will work be censored?"

Only art will be censored while there will be an uncensored link to the image beneath that. The uncensored link will either go to a place we upload it with a 18+ prompt or you can give us a link to your site (like if you have it on DA).

This means no n1pples, no reproductive anatomy, and no booty.

We will cover them with hearts unless you want to cover them with whatever you prefer, you can send in a pre-censored and uncensored version. - Hell, have fun with it and put Mikami's shocked face over their prohibited-parts.

Keep in mind, this is necessary to be within the TOS of our Tumblr overlords. We support the liberty of all nipples.

"Can I have particular tags for my work?"

Sure, but keep in mind that the first 5 are usually what tumblr will be indexing. Which means any tag beyond that 5 will probably not come up when someone searches for it in tumblr's main search.

"Can you reblog my work rather than posting it?"

In an effort to keep everything looking uniform so everyone looks equally special, we can link to your post but we will not be reblogging it.

"Does it matter what medium I draw in?"

No. You can draw in pencil or create your work digitally. Try to get it scanned, if it is a physical piece.

1. Your First OC ever? Oh gosh, I'm fairly sure it was a robot/cyborg girl (I think because I really liked the Androids from Dragonball Z) I annot remember her name I do remember, she had some love interest who was blond, and didn't discover what she really was for a while. Her maker was evil, I think I wrote it when I was like 8-ish ugh how embarrassing. 2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OC's? Oh gee probably Riea just because she is the oldest long term one who I've written for, and recreated and built upon many times, but it's hard to pick favourites out of them all. 3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from somebody? I genuinely don't remember ever taking on another persons character, I have made suggestions on how a person could characterise their OC better so I used the, temporarily to demonstrate but never took one on long term to keep. I would though if I thought they were salvageable, or if I felt they possessed a story inside of them waiting to be told. 4. A character you rarely talk about? Does Cyborg girl count ^^' if not, I don't really discuss the Knight Commander with people, even though he's an antagonist. Other than him, there is a blonde female who my succubus character (also female) seduced who I haven't discuss much, mainly because I haven't determined how she's going to be reintroduced yet. I might make her a witch and thus aware of her soul having been stolen. 5. If you could only make only one of your OC's popular/known, who would it be? Viseran ( my deaf/mute character) a scouting party member, from a post apocalyptic future story. 6. Two OC's of yours that look alike despite not being related? That I made similar intentionally? Or I only realised were similar later on? None spring to mind who weren't related. 7. Are your OC's part of any story, or stories? Yes, that's what my entire list of OC's consist of. 8. Little empress is a succubus, on the side of evil, she is a literal empress despite others having turned it into a sort of pet name, much to her distaste, and the story follows her and she sort of ends up working for the other side. 11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a 'sunshine'? Zeriste/Rabbit is the only one who springs immediately to mind. 12. Name an OC who isn't yours but you like a lot? Some of the Dragon Age OC's that people have made are super interesting. I saw a thunder god one on deviant art that was pretty cool too. 13. Do you have any troublemaker OC's? Oh yeah I've created a few. Else witch, Blade, Peydion, immediately come to mind 14. Introduce an OC with a tragic background? Aymia Crewe applies due to having become permanently stuck in a child's body of ten, even though she is like nineteen years old. A number of her childhood years were spent as a child soldier, of which she was only one, another character of mine is also a child of warfare, however refocusing on Aymia due to her being highly skilled, and being one of the longest surviving children, as well as children being more compatible than adults, with the experiments to enhance soldiers on the battlefield. Due to being one of the subjects experimented on, a side effect of that was her body ceasing to age, she also has successfully enhanced battle skills, but she kind of feels trapped in a never ending nightmare. 15. Do you like to talk about your OC's with others? I rarely talk about my writing projects unless they are finished and I am content to discuss them. 16. Which one of your OC's would be the best at Biology (school subject)? Uissade, he is driven to seek achievement and learning above all else. 17. Any OC OTP's? Of my own characters - Riea and Blade though they probably will not end up together given the significant trauma in her past, Novice Witch and the Main Character, Aleksis and Vio, Riel and Lief though sometimes it changes, in other words I have several 18. Any OC crackships? Mine or from other media because I have a lot that belong to others. Sometimes I enjoy one-shots of various interactions between my characters, even cross overs from different stories 19. No, I don't really mind how people view or characterise my OC’s, as the only one who knows what I had in mind when I created them is myself. I am always intrigued to see how another person might view different characters. 23. Introduce OC who has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like? My former slave turned free traveller and fighter for justice, he's kind, sees the best in people and has never become bitter or angry over the hand life dealt him, I admire that. 25. The OC who resembles you the most? Auli, she has some differences from me namely her ethnicity, but she has dark hair and eyes like me, is kind but passionate and fiery whenever defending those she cares about. Also loves her family, culture, good food, and isn't afraid of expressing herself. Therefore yeah definitely Auli. 26. Have you ever had to change your OC's design, or something else about them against your will? No, I am stubborn when it comes to who I perceive a character to be, or how they firm as a complete person in my head. I take constructive criticism, and allow others to suggest things whether a flaw or a positive trait, but I know who they are overall, and I know the story they are telling, so if they need to be rebuilt, I sift through trying to identify what I need to change for it to feel right. 27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song? None that I remember ever creating. 28. Your most dangerous OC? Gees, many are quite dangerous in truth, however the most dangerous character I have who isn't a straight up villain/antagonist is probably Aymia, she looks like a small child physically, but is an experienced, capable, killer, seeking a cure to her current condition, or punish those responsible, so definitely Aymia. 29. Which of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they're going? Serafien out of sheer stubbornness, Aymia, possibly Riea too seeing she can be very impulsive and isn't used to involving others in her plans or business. 30. Which of your OC's would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection? Sayah because she's always acting tougher and more aloof than she really is. Possibly also Jarei. 31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their Tumblr blog would be like? Peydion would reblog the latest fashion trends, she would always be posting hair and makeup tips for others as naturally she has immaculate taste. She would post skincare products, the only other types of things she would reblog would be fundraisers, and anything for a good cause as Peydion despite being vain will always champion the causes of the underdog, she will defend the picked on, indifferent to status. Acera's Tumblr would be a crafty, artsy collage of style and colour, I feel like she would make her own fashion accessories, upload her paintings and drawings, and make eclectic music playlists and suggestions for people, I also feel like she would have sections of her page dedicated to black and white photographs to break up all of the colour every now and then, I feel she would be a sweets and caffine addict to. 32. Which of your OC's would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why? I feel like Jarei, would be a matter of fact and rational protagonist, however she might be far too sensible to end up there in the first place. Therefore...I'm going to say, Iris would be unique in that type of situation. She's extremely different, spends the majority of her time amongst nature, and her powers as an empath would make the entire journey extremely interesting. 33. Your shyest OC? I can't really think of a shy character that I've written, I have expressed pain and distant characters, cautious and uncertain, bold and fiery, I've written introverts and extroverts, good and bad, jealous and vindictive, cruel even but I haven't written shy oddly. I will make that my next OC goal. Out of my characters who exist right now, I guess I would have to pick Iris or Briayla, because they are more introverted, Riea is also. 34. Do you have any twin characters? Yes three sets. Paige and Kat, another set of girl twins who are thus far unnamed still, and then there's Alex and Cole 35. Do yo have any sibling characters? Apart from the sets of twins ^^, not that I can recall. 36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends, etc)? Belongs to someone else? Like another writer with their OC? Or who the character belongs to in the story? I wouldn't say any characters belong to, or with anyone in any of my stories, they are each, their own person. But if you mean as in another writer's OC, no. 37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human? Riel and Lief both count in this case, essentially both are members of a group of beings who possess roles and responsibilities on the earth, they manage a particular job in everyday like that makes society function. A civil war breaks out, Riel is attacked and almost killed, she manages to escape, but at the same time falls into the mortal realm with a tear in her spiritual essence. Each being has an emergency, corporeal body which they inhabit within the human realm, Riel ends up being trapped within hers, and they are only supposed to be used minutely therefore the reliance upon it weakens her, so she's stuck, and during the initial aftermath she doesn't remember until Lief shows up and restores her memories of this, as they were sealed along with her powers within her. They are a part of her spiritual essence, it's intended to both protect the mortal realm as well as ensure mortals never discover their existence. Other stuff happens, war is being waged by both sides, that's all I'll say. 38. Which of your OC's would be the best dancer? Serafien, Else Witch I assume given the time period both women are from. 39. Introduce any character you want. Nine has white-blonde hair in a styled ponytail, with a messy braid running through it, and red eyes due to being albino. She is scrawny, and badly scarred along her right side and hip. Nine has the ability to kill, but she needs to picture how your organs work, in order to cause your lungs to seize up, she has to know how the respiratory system works, and picture it's inner workings in her mind, only then can she disrupt or shit down how it functions. She also has the ability to increase or decrease the potency of medicinal plants, herbs poisons, and all alchemical draughts she makes, making her both a brilliant healer, or killer depending on the necessity. 40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Other than writing for them, being complimented on one or two. One time I made my sisters laugh with one of my OC's. A ghost and secretary working for a organisation of guardians, and although she is incredibly good at her job, she's of course incorporeal. Which means she cannot answer the phone, get the door, sign for packages that sort of thing, so at times she gets frustrated over it and her ghostly abilities act up, so office supplies randomly end up scattered about the lobby and that sort of thing. Also her partner as a receptionist who does answer the phones etc is a male mummy, who roller blades to work because he really enjoys human inventions, of course concerns that he might unravel means that he often puts tape on his bandages to keep them together. That sort of thing tends to make people laugh. 41. Has anyone drawn fan art of your OC's? No. 42. Which one of your OC's would be the most interested in the Greek Gods? Gaia considering her name comes directly from them, I also think she would be interested in her namesake and others among them. 43. Do you have any certain type when you create OC's? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It's time to confess. I lean mostly toward fantasy settings, I confess to liking troubled OC's, and the only physical features that I can say I lean towards is dark hair colours and bronze or tan skin colours. I try to represent as many ethnicities in my writing as possible, therefore I've made, French, English, Greek and Italian, Middle eastern mixed, Asian mixed OC's, a Hawaiian and Samoan OC, Native American, African American, Jamaican, as many as I can because I think everybody deserves representation, in stories and adventures, so it really depends on the setting I'm building, if it's a future society then I use our world ethnicities and say countries and nations have mixed and shifted etc, if it's a fantasy setting then I create and build my OC's and their ethnicities or cultures from scratch, likewise if I make a sci fi story which deals with alien races. 44. Something you like about your OC's in general? I like that they are all uniquely different, I try to explore new personalities and mindsets. 45. A character you no longer use? Well I haven't thought about cyborg girl in well over a decade but I might recreate and build her anew in a future story because I'm feeling some real nostalgia right now. 46. Has anybody ever told you that you treat your OC's badly? I would readily confess to doing so, you have to push characters to their limits, to determine what they are made of, that's how you work out who they are deep down. So yes I do think I act quite sadistically, and I'll kick them when they are down at times. 47. Has anybody ever (friendly) claimed any of your OC's as their child? No, no one has. 48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure. Mayyyybe Zeriste, she's the only character I can think of who falls into the sees the best in everybody, innocent type. Every other character I've made, ever, has been more complicated and more flawed than that. Zeriste isn't an old creation though she's a relatively new OC. 49. Which one of your OC's would most likely enjoy memes? I feel like roller blading mummy would be down ^^ he likes human creations. 50. Give me the good ol' OC talk here, talk about anything you want. All I shall say is make them as varied, flawed, and three dimensional as possible. Be brave when challenging them with a difficult situation, and never hand OC's an easy way out.
