“His to own, you’re his no matter what”
“Crystal, your man is here, he’s in the back room” as soon as you get off the stage your manager told you. You weren't in the mood for him right now; as it was nearing the end of your shift, you figured you could help out the other girls before heading home, however he wouldn't let you; all you wanted to do was to take a hot shower, eat your leftover pizza, and sleep.
You replied quietly, "okay," not wanting to argue with her, knowing that whatever Ari wanted was out of her hands.
Ari Levinson. Your city's dangerous don, the mafia boss. Who had them all in his hands, which is why your manager couldn't do anything about him showing up unannounced near closing time and asking for you
You sighed again, stuffing the money you earned tonight into your bag, and went to the back room, where you knew he always stayed whenever he came to you.
In front of the room stood two broad men who always accompanied him, their guns clearly visible in the waist band of their suits, and they were looking around suspiciously despite the fact that there was no one around them.
They look at you and nod, one of them opens the door for you. You smiled at him, but he didn't return the lovely smile you know their boss adores. Fucking statues
You walked into the small room where you first met Ari for a private dance session. The room was cold even though they hadn't fixed the air conditioner; it wasn't because of the weather outside, but because of the cold-hearted man sitting in front of you.
He's leaning against the old couch, which you're still don’t know how it’s still here you swear you saw a cockroach walk all over it once.
His legs were spread wide to show off his size. One hand rests on one of his thighs, while the other holds a cigarette between his fingers and a glass of a brownish liquor, his looks are darker than the night despite the blue eyes this giant monster has.
In front of him a scratched old wooden table that barley stand on it four legs, you would give it a couple of days before it brakes, yet it holds Ari’s belongings.
His custom-made gun with his initials on it pointing at you, his ashtray with a couple of turned-off cigarettes, implying he's been here for a while, and a bottle of his expensive liquor. completing Ari's entire personality in the eyes of others
He's dominating the room he's sitting in, hell, he's dominating the entire club, yet you're not afraid of him.
You fix your gaze on him, and all you see is the same expression he gave you the first time. Lust, how are you going to get through this? How can you not fall into his arms? How can you not fall for him even harder?
"Long time no see, angel eyes," he said as he sipped his drink, his dark eyes settled on yours.
It's been three weeks since he last came here, and each time he comes, you miss him even more than the week before. You despised it, you despised how much you loved him, you were relieved he didn't come for three weeks, but good people don't always get what they want, right?
"It was a lovely three weeks," you said with your fake smile and attitude that you knew he disliked.
"You're counting the days?" he smirked.
"I'm just curious how many days you can go without me," you replied with the same sass you have before.
"I can't live without you, Angel eyes," he said again, knowing how it affects you, 'Angel eyes' had you on your knees since the first day.
"You lost the right to call me that long ago, Ari," you say, losing all your sass after hearing your beloved pet name.
"You still have those angel eyes though, Crystal," he said warmly. "How are you doing?"
You have the feeling that he is reenacting the scene in which you fall in love with him.
"How is your wife?" You retorted, It's been months and he still ignores the fact that it's over between you two the moment you found out about his wife.
"Let's not do this tonight," he sighed.
"Good for me too," you said, turning around to try to open the door to leave, but it was locked, "I paid for two hours," he said, looking at the expensive watch on his wrist, "I still have an hour and a half."
"Fuck you," you said pitifully, to think you and Ari had something real, something anyone would kill for. God, you were so stupid; how could a man like him want anything more than a mistress at his beck and call, waiting for him whenever he wanted to spread her legs? You were naive enough to believe he would want to spend his life with you. to take you as his wife
"You won't get anything from me unless you answer my fucking question, which I've asked a million times before." You became enraged with him and tears began to well up in your eyes.
He wants you, but he will never take you in the way he desires.
"Why are you being so hard on me? I'm trying to protect you," he said, raising his voice at you; he never spoke to you like that before.
"And I don't want to be saved, I'm fine" overwhelmed by emotions, why can't he leave you alone? Why is it that he can't respect you? Why has everything become so difficult? You could feel yourself slipping away in his grasp like a fucking puppet, doing whatever he pleased.
A moment of silence floats through the room, with nothing but the fading music of the club to be heard. "I have a daughter, she's four," he answered your question, but it wasn't the answer you wanted. You truly believed it couldn't get any worse,.
No way, it can't be, you sobbed. You can't be a homewrecker, you can't ruin this little girl's life, you can't let her live what you've lived. "You've got to be kidding me," you exclaimed to the man in front of you.
Ari knows he can't go back to his mansion and live his life as if nothing happened, as if the last few months were just a dream he made up, you got him on his knees in a leach and it's hard to break through, it's hard to leave you alone and go back to his cheating wife, he knows his daughter doesn't want to live in a broken home.
"I want you out of this life, y/n," he says, placing his glass on the table and his elbows on his knees, staring at you. He exhaled a sigh.
"I'll give you whatever you want to come with me. I’ll give you double what you make in a week? Do you earn $8,000 per week? I'll double that, whatever it is, whatever it is! Would you like me to divorce my wife? I'll do it in heart beat” he says, sick of it. He needs you and he will not be ashamed to admit it. He'll take you. And he will make you his for for ever
“Name your fucking price and i’ll give it to you, know this Im not leaving today with out you”.
Are you kidding me?Have you gone insane?" You're enraged and irritated. Nothing will stop you from yelling at him. Fuck, You wanted to take his gun and shoot him in the head.
“Yes. I've lost my fucking mind for you, and nothing can stop me."
"I won't Ari, I can't do this to your daughter," tears stream down your cheeks, a deep desire within you to say yes, to be with him, to escape this lifestyle; just today, a man was kicked out for inappropriately touching you, the fifth this week.
The idea of settling down and spending the rest of your life comfortably with him is appealing; it's what you've wanted for years
You can't separate this little girl from her parents, and you can't take her father away from her, as what have done to you.
He slowly walked up to you, towering over you with all the power he wielded like a fucking god.
He looked at you like a prey, trapping you between his chest and the wall, if you only knew you wouldn't come to this room.
Despite the fact that you were wearing heels, he was still taller than you. He bent down and you felt his lips on you. He's not kissing you, he's just brushing his soft lips against your red-stained lips
"Just say the word y/n," and tears stream down your cheeks like Niagara Falls. ، you body is weak you can feel yourself wanting to fall on him. To let him have you forever like the sweet little girl you are.
"How about your daughter ?" You wanted to remind him of what he's missing in this puzzle: he has a wife and a daughter.
He brushed his lips against your neck, making you shiver in return, you placed your hand on his broad shoulders, and your attempts to push him were useless. "What about her?" he asked.
You can't believe him; is he acting stupid or is he truly stupid? Is he blind to the fact that his daughter is involved? Part of the problem he's attempting to solve?
"Ari, please stop," you said softly, wanting him to stop this stupid game, this affair, and stop treating you like some mistress rich old men have.
You assumed him to marry you and make you his lovely wife.
"The only reason I didn't divorce Charlotte was because of my daughter Mia, who was very young when I discovered her mother's affair with one of my men," he took a deep breath, as if the entire situation was something he dreaded discussing.
"What we have is not a mistake," he continued minutes later. He kissed your lips sweetly and warmly, "you didn't take a man from his family, that man came to you, begging you to spare him a look. So, angel eyes, How much does your time cost?"
You storm your brain out thinking of the number that would be impossible for him to pay you, his words do nothing to persuade you that you did not ruin a small girl's life, even if her house is broken as he said you can't do this, you want him to leave so everything can go back to normal, you dancing to the rhythm of music to thirsty old men and getting paid for it.
It hurts to see him like this, begging you to give yourself up for him, to be his precious doll, the one he took his rage out on.
Without thinking you say the biggest number you can think of “five million dollars per year."
"Okay," he said flatly, as if you'd asked for a dollar. He stood up straight, reached into his pocket, and pulled out a blank check.
Even so, that is what you do in life. Guys paying you to dance It was the first time you felt like a lesser being. An unpleasant sensation arises in your chest and it all because the man asking you is the man of your dreams.
You pushed him away from you, you didn't believe it was possible; but you're crying even harder now. Like a cheap whore, he only wants your body.
"Stop, Ari, I just can't-" you yelled at him, this amount of money would save your life, pay off your debts, but coming from him? It doesn't feel right..
"Don't be stupid, take this money and save yourself; all I'm asking for is your time." Why is he making it difficult for you? Isn't he aware of the entire situation?
You just wish you had met him in a different situations and under different circumstances; why didn't you meet him in a coffee shop or a fucking library?
Your hesitancy is eating you alive; no one would refuse this kind of money; the money is enticing you to say yes;
He looked your tear-stained face, your hair stuck to your forehead, and your body trembling like a leaf.
He sighed and took the blue pen from his pocket, your jaw slack as he began to fill out the information on the small papers, you're mesmerized by his unfazed expression to the amount of money you're asking for.
"You have two weeks to decide angel eyes, you know how to get me," he said as he handed you the check. He turned around and took his belongings with him. He knocked on the door beside your head, expecting his man to open it.
His eyes are searching for yours, you can't tell what his expression means, but his lips say exactly what he wants "there's nothing you could've asked from me that I would say no to" and just like that he’s gone, leaving you with the idea of him and of the money in your hand..
Would you do this!, you thought as you stared at the paper between your fingers. Would you give up everything to be with him? Do you intend on accepting this money?
One thing you realized after this was that you two aren't a normal couple, and nothing that happening to you is normal.

I convinced Ari to let me help with the last movement before Ethan pulled the plug on our mission after we left the prison. My side was killing me, a blood spot was seeping through my shirt. Sammy was quick to redress the wound when we got back to the resort, having to reassure Ari a million times that I’d be ok.
Once Sammy left the room, Ari gently traced my bruising skin around the wound. I knew he was beating himself up.
“Baby,” I whispered, stopping his hand. I brought it up to my cheek, laying into his warm palm.
“You alright?” he asked softly, not taking his eyes off the injury.
“You know it’s not the first time I’ve been shot.” I murmured, whimpering lightly when he took his hand back.
“That doesn’t make it better y/n,” he griped, rubbing his face from exhaustion.
“Come lay with me,” I whispered, gently trying to scoot myself over.
“Sweetheart stay still please,” Ari sighed, halting my movements with his hands gripping my arms.
“I want you to lay down with me,” I pouted, hoping my puppy dog eyes would make him cave.
“Alright, alright.” he caved, shaking his head at my shit eating grin.
“Know you can’t resist me baby,” I giggled, feeling giddy to be in his arms again.
Ari got in bed, carefully sliding under the covers with me. He gently laid his head on my chest, my fingers combing through his hair while the other hand stroked his beard. He kissed my sternum, his eyes slowly drooping from the relaxation my touch brought him.
“Sleep my love,” I murmured, placing a soft kiss to the crown of his head.
Sleep overtook both of us, getting prepared for the days to come…
Tumblr media
After finding out about Kabede being attacked, we decided tonight would be the last group we moved. We got help from the American CIA, a man Ari had run into before that broke him out of jail. He was going to provide us a plane that would fly us back to Israel.
When we got back from aiding Kabede, the Sudan soldiers were sitting at a table with Rachel waiting to eat dinner. They checked our truck for what I assumed refugee’s, I had a bad feeling they were catching onto us. When they found nothing, Ari took my hand and led me to the table. Nathifa brought out our food, and the Colonel started speaking in Arabic to her. Ari leaned close to my ear, close enough I could feel his warm breath on my neck.
“Do you know what they’re saying baby?” he asked quietly.
I didn’t know much Arabic, but I could pick up certain words. I did hear him say refugees, whites, time, find, family, then Nathifa started tearing up. My anger spiked, knowing this asshole probably threatened her. Before I said anything however, Ari ordered her back to the kitchen. I leaned back over to Ari, trying not to be suspicious I kissed his cheek to his ear.
“I think he asked her about the refugees and threatened her family.” I whispered before leaning back and picking at my food.
When Rachel came back a little later, everyone was finished eating. Nathifa came back to clean up the plates, my stomach churned as the Colonel leaned back to look at her from behind. I became more alert when he grabbed her and sat her on his lap, tears shedding down her cheeks.
“Get your fucking hands off of her!” I growled, shoving my chair back as I stood.
“Do you know what I love the most about Hadandawa women? Huh? They’re really wild in the sack.” the Colonel grinned disgustingly, my eyes stayed connected to his as I stared him down.
My hand went behind my back, gripping the handle of the knife I always carried with me since I was a young agent so many years ago. Ari eyed me, his expression angry as he looked from me and back at the soldiers.
“They don’t feel anything down there, they’re father’s cut them when they’re very young, so you have to be rough for them to feel anything at all huh?” the Colonel laughed menacingly as Nathifa screamed when he began to touch her.
I completely lost it, charging at him.
“I said do not touch her!” I screamed as I held the knife to his throat.
“Y/n!” Ari griped, gripping my free wrist.
“Maybe I should take you instead,” the soldier chuckled, my blood boiling even more as I gripped my knife tighter.
Ari cried out, falling to the ground as another soldier hit him over the head with the butt of their gun. My heart raced, wanting to make sure my lover was ok, but I knew I couldn’t let my guard down in front of the Colonel.
Once the soldiers left, I put my knife away and helped Ari to a chair.
“Baby you alright? Are you bleeding?” I asked worriedly, checking the back of his head.
“I’m fine, but we need to go.” he gruffed out.
“Ari-” I tried.
“We’re leaving tonight.” he growled, yanking me along as we went to where Max was hiding the refugees.
Tumblr media
We got the refugees to the landing site the CIA agent told us about, and we immediately started putting glow sticks down to make a path for the plane to land.
“What is taking so long?” I asked myself as I stared at the sky like the plane would somehow appear.
“This better not be a set up,” Rachel grumbled.
“Um guys? We got incoming!” Max shouted.
“Shit!” I exclaimed quietly, rushing to Ari.
“We have to go!” I yelled, tugging his arm.
“Ok, ok everyone get back to the truck!” Ari ordered, everyone beginning to pile up.
Then, we heard the whirring of the aircraft. The team and I laughed relieved as it landed, but then bullets started flying. Ari pulled me to him, shielding my body the best he could.
“Ari! We have to get these people!” I shouted.
“Get on the fucking plane!” he hissed, shoving me onto the aircraft.
“Ari!” I screamed, quickly ducking when a bullet flew past my head.
Once everyone got loaded, Sammy and Ari were at the front with the driver talking to the CIA agent. I waited in a corner away from everyone, looking at all the people we saved. I jumped slightly when suddenly I was being pulled to my feet, crushed to the strong chest of Ari.
“Almost fucking lost you again.” he growled, holding me tight to him as he hid his face in my neck.
I returned his hold, wrapping my arms tightly around him. I kissed every inch of his face I could reach before rubbing my cheek against his, the coarse hair of his beard comforting me.
“You didn’t baby, I’m right here.” I whispered.
“When we land, are you going home?” he asked quietly.
“Well, I have some laundry that needs done.” I smiled as he chuckled against my skin.
“How about after that?” Ari questioned, beginning to trail gentle kisses up my neck.
“Hmmm, I’m not sure.” I said as I closed my eyes, my voice breathy as he gently bit my skin.
“Make no plans baby, you…are mine tonight.” he murmured, a shiver running through me at his deep voice.
Tumblr media
After some annoying paperwork, the team and I were dismissed for the night. I made my way home, anxious for the night that awaited me. I not so subtly slipped Ari the extra key I had for my apartment before I had to go to my office, hoping he’d be waiting for my return.
As I walked in, I could already feel the tension in the air. I walked further into my apartment, discovering a shirtless Ari manspreading on my couch watching TV. I grinned, dropping my bag and pouncing on him. I straddled his torso, not waiting a second more as I smashed my mouth to his.
Ari’s hands slid up my back, inside my shirt, and stopped right at the clasp of my bra. I reached down and took my shirt off, leading Ari to finish what he started and removed my bra. His lips moved down my neck to my pert nipples, sucking on each one as I threw my head back. I threaded my fingers through his hair, holding him to my tits as he swirled his tongue over them.
“I need you,” I groaned, grinding my lower half on his.
Ari slapped my ass hard, a strangled whimper leaving my lips.
“Patience little girl, I’m taking my time.” he grinned, kissing all over my chest.
“Please baby, please.” I whined, pulling at his brown locks.
Ari sat up, taking his shirt off before flipping me onto my back. He hovered above me, his hands flowing down my curves and stopping at my pants. I reached for his, undoing the button and zipper before shoving my hand in and taking his cock out. Ari hissed, the cold air in my apartment contrasting with the heat of him.
I stroked him for a second before Ari was batting my hands away. He lifted me into his arms, carrying me to my room. He laid me gently on the bed, taking his pants and boxers off before climbing between my legs. Slowly, he removed my pants along with my panties.
I gasped as he flipped me on my stomach, kissing up my spine and pulling me to my hands and knees. His face went into my neck, kissing and biting at the flesh. Ari slapped my ass again, gripping each cheek in his hands. I mewled as he pulled them apart, his head coming out of my neck so he could watch my juices drip to my sheets.
“Baby, my love I can’t take it. I need you, no more teasing!” I sobbed out, wiggling my ass in his hands.
“I need a taste first babydoll,” he smirked, leaning down and feverishly licking and sucking my pussy.
“Ari!” I moaned, arching my back more as he took my clit between his teeth.
He licked up to my second hole, the new sensation exciting me as he explored the territory no one has ever been. I wondered now what it would be like for Ari’s cock to be buried to the hilt inside there.
“Such a pretty ass baby, one day I’ll fill up both holes.” Ari moaned into me, sitting up as he soaked his cock in my juices before pushing inside of me.
“Oh, god.” I whined, gripping the sheets for dear life.
He didn’t wait as he began fucking the life out of me, watching my slick coating his cock as he pushed in and out. I could feel him deeper than I’d ever felt before, even when we were together all those years ago it had never felt like this. He was hitting my gspot with every stroke.
“My pretty baby, but her pussy is a whore for me isn't she sweetheart?” Ari taunted, smacking his hips into my ass faster.
“Yes! Yes baby just for you!” I cried out, my head diving in the mattress as one of his hands began petting at my clit.
“Already cumming baby? We just got started.” Ari grinned, my orgasm coming not a second later.
He didn’t let up, keeping the same if not a faster pace than before. I bit my fist as the pleasure overtook my body, shaking as Ari kept making me cum over and over.
I was drenched in sweat, Ari the same as he kept at me. He flipped me onto my back, holding my legs over his shoulder as he pounded his dick in my poor pussy. I wasn’t sure how much more I could take, tears leaked from my eyes.
“Awww baby, I’m not nearly done yet.” he laughed, slapping his hand to my soaking core which made me cum again.
“No more,” I sobbed, but it felt so good I wasn’t sure that’s what I wanted.
“Take what I give you,” Ari hissed, my head shook no.
Ari moved my legs around his waist, leaning down so we were nose to nose.
“I know you can, my girl can do anything.” Ari whispered, bringing his thumb back to my clit.
My legs shook as I came again, screams of his name falling from my lips. Ari grunted as he came inside of me, making sure he was in all the way. Kisses were placed all over my face, Ari praising me for how good I did.
“My good girl, you’re amazing, I love you so much.” he whispered.
“I love you Ari,” I smiled weakly, wrapping my arms around him.
We slept in each other’s arms that night, holding on to each other as if the other would disappear at any second…

Hungry Like The Wolf | soft!dark!Ari Levinson x reader
summary: when you need ari’s help for a secret mission with the CIA, he expects gratitude from you— and he wants a lot more than just a thank you card.
word count: nearly 6.5k
warnings: smut (dub con/coercion/sex as bartering tool), oral sex (f receiving) and vaginal sex, overstimulation, possessiveness/very very slight yandere vibes?, some violence and gun use, mentions of human trafficking/warfare, religious discussions and traditions but not particularly orthodox ones, vague discussions of sexism and misogyny with implied religious background, overall just lots of global politics and all that fun stuff
(a/n: I went ahead and wrote the hebrew and arabic in english lettering because tumblr doesn’t support right to left text so just a heads up.  my arabic is very weak so I apologize if there are any errors.)
Tumblr media
Taking a deep breath, you ran through your pitch in your head again.  Sure, you’d had plenty of time to go over it on the plane, but one last recitation couldn’t hurt, right?  Unable to stall any longer, you turned the knob and entered Ari Levinson’s office.
You’d heard he was good-looking but his appearance still surprised you; his long hair and thick beard made him look like he’d fit in with a rock band better than an intelligence agency, and his half-buttoned shirt put his Star of David necklace and muscled, hairy chest on display.
He must have caught your gaze trailing down because he smirked at you, making your cheeks feel a bit warm.
“Mr. Levinson,” you greeted as you looked up to his face again.
He greeted you as ‘Ms.’ instead of ‘Agent,’ but you let it slide since you were about to ask him for quite the favor.  When he motioned for you to take a seat across from him, you did so with a nod and a quick smoothing of your skirt.
“So, what can I help you with?” he prompted.
This was the easy part; this was the part you’d rehearsed a thousand times.  “There is a group of trafficked women and girls who have been rescued from all over— Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait— and gathered in Riyadh.  We are working on a plan to move them to Cyprus and, eventually, Greece where they will be accepted into a camp there.  Maybe they’ll end up in the States at some point, if we can swing it, but… Cyprus is step one.”
Ari nodded, listening to your story with more patience than anyone else had so far.
“As you can imagine, it would be a lot easier to move through Jordan and Israel and use your ports, rather than go around through Egypt or Syria…”  He stared at you expectantly as you trailed off, and you cleared your throat before finishing:  "The CIA would greatly appreciate Mossad's cooperation in the movement of these refugees."
"How much would they appreciate it?"
You paused, unsure what he meant.  "Um, quite a lot, I'm sure…"
"I just mean that we have missions the CIA could be a useful assist for, too,” he clarified, interlacing his fingers and resting his hands on his lap.  “You guys have a lot more resources than we do.  If we help you out, is this going to be an allyship we can rely on?"
You swallowed dryly, pondering if there was a way to get out of this before you sighed and slumped down in your chair, leaning a little closer to him.  "Alright, I have to be honest with you: it's not really the CIA that's asking for your help."
"Then who is?"
"Me.  Just me.  I'm the only one who believes in this mission; I'm the only one fighting for these people.  The CIA won't help you because they won't even help me and I work for them."
He slumped his shoulders a little bit.  "Then I'm not sure if I can afford to say yes to you."
"Please," you implored, "I know I can't offer you as much as they can, but I'll do whatever I can to make this work.  Please," you repeated as you laid your hand over his, noticing the way his expression shifted a bit, "help me."
"I've been the one person fighting for a mission before," he remembered, voice a little softer.  "I know how hard it is to go it alone."
You smiled gently at him.
"And, I know how far I would've gone to get my people to safety."
His hand flipped around suddenly and grabbed yours tightly, pulling you closer as you gasped.
"How far will you go?"
You shivered, the darkness in his eyes burning right through you even when you tried to look away.  "Mr. Levinson, I—"
"Call me Ari," he instructed gruffly, grip tightening around your wrist until you yelped softly.
"Ari," you corrected, "I have money—"
"Don't want it."
"I can offer you my assistance in—"
"Don't need it."
"Tell me what you need,” you requested softly.
"I need to know you're gonna show me this 'great appreciation' you promised,” he answered quickly.  “I need to know that if I take care of you, then you'll take care of me."
You gulped but nodded.  "O-of course…"
"Good."
He released you from his grip and stood up, smiling at you like nothing had even happened.
"Pleasure doing business with you, madam."
You stood up and left his office in a haze, unsure if what had just happened was a dream or reality.  But, sure enough, he showed up the next day where you’d told him to meet you, and brought some money and fake passports that you desperately needed.  Frankly, just having a man around was going to make things smoother for you, even if it was a white man who didn’t exactly blend in by any stretch of the imagination.  Seeing him again the next day only reminded you how big he was, tall but moreso heavy with muscle; he looked pretty cramped in his tiny coach seat on the plane to Dubai (your connecting stop where you’d spend the night before flying out to Riyadh).
“Bloody mary, please,” he requested from the stewardess with a gentle nod, turning to you.
“Uh, just water, thanks,” you ordered quickly with a tilted smile.  You had brought a book to read, but Ari insisted on barraging you with personal questions about your job, your personal life, your favorite things— he seemed fascinated by the most mundane things, and disinterested in giving his own backstory.
Of course you considered that it wasn’t a great idea to tell him so much about yourself, let him in your head and under your skin.  But then again, you’d put your trust in him enough for the mission, so you ought to trust him completely, right?
So why did his stare send shivers up your spine?
//
There was room for you and Ari at a CIA safehouse outside Dubai; it wasn’t exactly luxurious or anything, but at least you weren’t going to have to share a room… or a bed.
Normally staying in a safehouse meant sharing common areas with a random assortment of other agents, but it being a Friday night in Dubai meant they were all out enjoying the local nightlife while you two stayed in.  Hoping to review a game plan for the mission with him, you found Ari’s door open, peeking around to see him on his knees on the floor, a candle burning before him, and his hands raised to cover his eyes and face.
“Shema Yisrael,” he sung to himself below his breath, “Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Ehad…”
He jumped a little when he uncovered and opened his eyes only to find you standing there.  “Shabbat Shalom,” you greeted.
“Shabbat Shalom,” he nodded back.
“I’m sorry you’re forced to take your Shabbat alone,” you apologized, “and that there’s nobody other than me to appreciate your vocal chops.”
His cheeks tinged pink at that.  “It’s all part of the sacrifices we make for our missions, eh?”
“Then I suppose you don’t mind that you’ll be doing plenty of work tomorrow,” you presumed.
“You probably realized by now that I’m not actually so traditional,” he chuckled, extinguishing the candle and standing up.  “I work on the sabbath quite a lot.”
“I hear work is permitted if it is needed to save a life.”
He smiled, but he looked a little sad; maybe not sad, but tired.  “With me, it always is.”
The silence was thick as you tried to reconcile that this was the same man that had grabbed and threatened you— was it a threat?  You couldn’t even tell anymore.  Apparently he wasn’t going to take whatever it was that he wanted until you’d finished the mission, and that should’ve made it easier to procrastinate your worry, but the extra time to ponder what it was actually going to be only brought further anxiety.
Of course, you had an idea of what he was going to ask of you, but the fact that nothing too untoward had happened in his office when you first met him was throwing you off.  In that moment, you were just waiting for him to tell you to get on your knees and show him how bad you wanted these women rescued, but he didn’t.  Wouldn’t have been the first time somebody tried to bribe you into sex; it would’ve been the first time, however, that you actually considered doing it.
Now, the anticipation just made it worse; you were working with him every day and he always acted normal, as if there wasn’t this looming threat of whatever favor he was going to ask from you in return.
Once you actually got to work the next day, it was easier not to think about that.  You barely had any extra brainpower to think about anything except survival and extraction.  Still, each time you looked at him only to find him already looking at you, your hands shook a little.
//
“You’ve been driving for 10 hours, you’re sure you don’t want me to take the wheel?” you offered, watching him blink a few times to clear his vision.
“Not worth getting arrested,” he frowned.
“We’ll only get arrested if we get caught.”
“Not worth the risk of getting caught.  And I don’t know about you, but if I get arrested here, I’ll probably be killed, too.”
You chewed your lip as you appreciated that it was probably worth avoiding as much trouble as possible.  It’s not like the CIA was popular in these parts, either, and for good reason.
“What’s that up ahead?” he asked, leaning further forward against the steering wheel and squinting.
“Um,” you stalled as you unfolded the paper map in your lap, “I’m… not sure.”
“Looks like a barricade,” he announced, and it did; a gate with two guards and barbed wire on either side.
“There isn’t supposed to be a stop here,” you reminded him as you frantically shuffled around the map, making sure you were where you thought you were and that there wasn’t a mark indicating a vehicle stop on the road.
“What do we do?” he asked, looking around as if he was considering veering off the path even though that would be equally dangerous.
“There isn’t supposed to be a stop here,” you repeated, more anxiously.
“Well, there is,” he replied, his own agitation clearly increasing, “so we’ll have to go through it.”
“They’re going to pull us over.”
“Probably,” he admitted.
“And they will search the back of the truck.”
“I’d be surprised if they didn’t.  How well do you think they’re gonna take it when they see eighty-something women packed like sardines?”
You chuckled a little even though you were anything but amused.  “Um, not good.”
As the men at the stop waved to signal your car to slow down, Ari sighed a little.  "I'll ask once again: what do we do?"
"Act natural," you suggested quickly as you lifted the scarf draped around your head to cover your nose and mouth.
Ari slowed down to a stop, lowering the window to talk to the officer outside and putting on a fake English accent.  “How can I help you, sir?”
“Identification please,” he requested sternly.  Ari smiled as he grabbed his and your passports, handing them over through the window.  It was a long, awkward moment as he flipped through the thick papers slowly, his partner leaning down to look through your window but never taking his hands off his gun.  “What brings you out here?” the man finally asked.
“My wife and I operate a restaurant in Jordan, and we get most of our equipment here because the workmanship is better,” Ari explained.  “Just passing through with our new stoves and oven hood.”
The officer glanced back over your truck, his expression mostly unreadable but overall not necessarily friendly-looking.  “Could you step out of the vehicle please?”
“Hal hdha daruri?” you asked quickly; Is this necessary?
“Alsamt,” he replied in a hiss; Silence.
Ari looked around like he was thinking but nodded and reached for the handle to his door.  You did the same, the second guard stepping out of your way so you could swing open the rusted metal and step out.
The men guided for you to circle the car with them, stopping at the back and staring at the metal sliding door that was latched shut.
Turning to address Ari, the guard’s face dropped completely as he got a bit more serious.  “What am I going to find in your vehicle?”
“Kitchen supplies, like I said,” Ari insisted.
As the officer reached for the latch on the back of the truck, Ari shot you a wide-eyed look and you gave him a quick nod.  He lunged at the second guard, wrestling him for his gun while you went after the first, who was much easier to take down with him being distracted by trying to unlock the back of the truck.  Your CIA instincts told you to shoot him once you’d grabbed his weapon, but thankfully you knocked him out with the butt of it instead.
Loud pops of gunfire beside you made you fear the worst, but Ari had managed to push the gun toward the sky before pulling it out of the officer’s grasp, swinging it wildly until it made contact with his head and he fell to the ground.
Gun in hand and panting heavily, Ari looked back at you with a grin.  “That wasn’t so bad.”
“You almost got shot,” you reminded him.
“A little more than almost,” he corrected, showing you a gash where a bullet had grazed arm.
“Shit, Ari!” you yelped, running over to him and inspecting the wound.  The way he looked down at you as you clutched him made you sort of regret it, though.
“It’s fine,” he assured you, but he made no effort to push you away.
“I… should check on the girls,” you decided, a little bit distracted but making your way back to the truck to roll up the metal back and examine the women inside, who looked scared at first but relaxed when they saw you.
“Kli shay' ealaa ma yaram,” you assured them that everything was fine, “nahn taqribaan 'iilaa al'urduni, wasawf nasil 'iilaa alsafinat allaylat.”  We're almost to Jordan and will arrive at the ship tonight.
They relaxed a bit and smiled at you, a few muttered ‘shukraan jazilaan’s (meaning ‘thank you’) echoing from inside.  You hated to shut the back and plunge them into darkness again, but they had assured you before that they would brave any conditions for a chance at freedom.  You hoped they meant it.
“Please, let me drive, you’re injured,” you offered to Ari as he started to make his way toward the driver’s side door.
“It’s not even that bad, and we’ve had enough run-ins with the law today,” he dismissed.
“Then let me patch you up first, okay?  Is that so terrible?”
He smiled a little.  “No, I guess not.”
And that was how you ended up leaning on him in the passenger seat, supergluing his arm shut, trying not to think about how his bicep was probably bigger than your head.
“You’re a pretty good medic,” he observed, speaking quietly since you were so close.
“When you’re as clumsy as I am, you have to be,” you responded, sounding monotone due to focusing mostly on your work.  “It shouldn’t scar too—”
You stopped when you looked up at him, because the way he was staring back down at you made you completely devoid of the ability to speak or even conjure words in your mind.  You’d never seen him so close before and those piercing blue eyes made your head spin.
“What were you gonna say?” he asked softly,
“It… shouldn’t scar too bad,” you finished, “as long as you keep it clean and dry.”
“I generally aim to keep my entire body clean and dry,” Ari chuckled.
“Right, yeah, well— keep up the good work, then,” you stammered as you wrapped some gauze around his arm and rolled his sleeve back down over it.
“Let’s hit the road before we waste any more time,” he suggested, and with a nod you leaned back into your seat.
//
The radio blasting was the only thing keeping both of you awake as you drove through the dark.  The border to Jordan was easy enough, and both of you sighed with relief as you crossed into Israel.  It was by far the biggest blockade you’d seen so far, but of course, Ari got you in faster than you’d moved through anything else.
“Good to be home?” you asked when you saw Ari smiling as he looked around at the streetlights through the windshield.
“You could say that,” he answered.  “Think we have time to stop for falafel before we get to the port?”
“Not unless you plan on buying for all your passengers,” you laughed, motioning toward the back.  “If they have to wait until we reach the ship, so do we.”
“Yeah, that’s fair,” he relented.  “Besides, probably better to be seen by as few people as possible.  Even if we’re in friendly territory, it’s still a covert operation and all.”
“Wow, so you do have some desire to play by the rules,” you gasped in faux shock.  He smiled and shrugged a bit.
“More like the rules and my desires occasionally overlap.”
It was past midnight when you pulled into the port, surrounded by ships so big that you couldn’t see the tops of them from inside the car.  A cargo ship was waiting for you, along with some Navy men who helped you escort the women onto the vessel.
Since it wasn’t meant to accommodate this many people, the refugees occupied extra crew space while you and Ari were given sleeping bags in an unused office; you were so tired, though, that it actually looked enticing.
As soon as you’d set your pack down and shut the door, you heard a distant horn and felt the ship begin to move.  You let out a long sigh as you leaned against the desk, watching Ari take a seat in the chair and start laughing exhaustedly.
“We did it,” you smiled, “we fucking did it.”
“We’ve still got a long boat ride ahead of us,” Ari mitigated, “but yeah… we should be in the clear, and tomorrow afternoon we’ll be in sunny Cyprus.”
You were so elated from the high of a successful mission that you forgot to worry about Ari’s vague request all those weeks ago; it was probably the first time you hadn’t thought about it since then, truthfully.  That changed when his smile fell as he looked up at you, eyes darkening a little and scanning your body.
“You’re a great agent,” he nodded slowly, “and an incredible woman.  You saved a lot of people tonight.”
You shifted nervously under the weight of his stare, but tried to hide your discomfort.  “I… couldn’t have done it without you.”
“I know,” he informed you coldly, standing up and approaching you.  “I think I’ve gone above and beyond on my end of our deal.”
A pit formed in your stomach, growing with each step he took towards you.  His eyes stayed trained on you except for when he glanced to the side to flip on the radio, American music suddenly piping through the speakers.
— discord and rhyme, I’m on the hunt, I’m after you…
You looked to the radio as well but his hand gently guided your jaw until you looked back at him; he was closer than ever, and you had to look up to meet his gaze, shivering as he ran his thumb over your bottom lip slowly.
“Are you good for your end of the deal?” he asked lowly.
And I’m hungry like the wolf…
You swallowed, hoping it would somehow ease the ache in your gut as you realized what was about to happen, before nodding meekly.
He smirked a little.  “Good girl,” he praised, only a bit louder than a whisper, as his hand moved to cradle your face.  “You want me, don’t you?”
Your brow furrowed as you tried to figure out how you were supposed to answer that.  “I want to repay you, for all you’ve done for me.”
“No, not just that,” he disagreed, “you want me.  I know you do.  You don’t need to hide it, we’re alone…”
Hesitant but catching on to his desires, you nodded a little.
“Say it.”
“I want you, Ari,” you whispered.
It felt like forever waiting for him to kiss you as he leaned in slowly, eyes half-lidded and dark but never leaving you.  As his lips brushed against yours, you finally let your eyes flutter shut and reciprocated his kiss.  His hands felt especially big as one slipped behind your neck and the other rested on your waist; in fact, with the way you had to crane your head up to kiss him back, all of him felt big.  Including the part you were pretty sure just bumped against the inside of your thigh.
His kiss was soft and patient but determined, slow but somehow still moving faster than you were ready for.  You gingerly reached up and rested your hands on his shoulders; they were strong and warm beneath your touch, even through his shirt.  You couldn’t think of the last time you’d been kissed like this, or held so tenderly like this, but then again, you were also sure that nobody had scared you like this in a long time, either.  For a woman who always knew what to do in a dangerous situation, you couldn’t seem to get a read on Ari Levinson— mostly because you didn’t truly believe he was dangerous.  But maybe you should.
When his hands reached up to start unbuttoning your blouse, you pushed him back a little.
"N-not here," you protested, "someone could hear, or walk in."
"There's nowhere else to go, and I'm not waiting 'til Cyprus.  I need you now."
He kissed you again before you could respond, more forceful and desperate.  You let him work open your shirt this time, his fingers dancing over your skin as he pulled it off your shoulders and tossed it aside.  The feeling of him working your bra open made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, but his tongue slipping into your mouth distracted you and before you knew it, it was gone as well.  Your nipples hardened in the cold air— or maybe they’d been that way already, for whatever reason— but they reacted even stronger to his thick fingers gently pinching them as his palms cupped your breasts.
You gasped against his mouth a bit, your breathing getting heavier as he moved his hands down to your trousers.  The idea of being naked when he was still fully-dressed scared you, but you didn’t have time to think about that anymore when he pulled back to drop to his knees, taking your pants and underwear to the floor with him.
He looked back up at you with a mischievous grin as you cautiously stepped out of them.  After guiding you to sit up on the table, neither of you stopping to consider how rude it was to put your bare ass on somebody’s desk in a borrowed ship, he slowly parted your legs.  As he kissed a trail inside your thigh, you felt your hands clutch the edge of the table tightly with anticipation.  You felt so exposed with his face right there, to the point that your cheeks were burning with embarrassment, and yet you couldn't manage to tear your eyes away from his as he leaned in to lick you teasingly with the tip of his tongue.
"Fuck," you shivered, feeling your inner walls quiver as he moved so delicately.  You kept waiting for him to really get into it but he was determined to stay gentle and slow, circling your bud for one glorious moment before stopping again.  "Ari, please," you whispered without even realizing you’d said it.
"What do you want, baby?" he asked darkly, his voice deep and gravelly as he ran his hands up the back of your legs.
Your begging whimper was so pathetic you could hardly believe you were hearing yourself.  "More, please…"
He dove right in after that, suddenly latching onto your clit and letting his tongue explore every fold, every wrinkle, every sensitive spot with thick, wide licks.  Your head fell back and your hands jumped to weave into his hair— that gorgeous fucking hair that had driven you halfway insane.  It was soft between your fingers, and in this light you could see the touches of red, blonde, and maybe even grey scattered into the brunette.  Better yet was the way he moaned against you when you accidentally pulled it, your hands clenching into fists against his scalp each time he sucked on your clit just right.
"Ari, baby, fuck," you groaned, feeling your hips shift a little as if to try to get more of yourself in his mouth.
Sensation was sparking under your skin faster than you knew what to do with it, faster than you had ever figured out on your own, and definitely faster than anybody else had ever managed.  You felt your body shaking and couldn’t suppress it at all, every part of you (inside and out) quivering uncontrollably.  It would’ve been embarrassing except that he seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit, egging you on with his tight grip on your thighs, and his deep moans that reverberated over your body, and the way his brow furrowed like it almost pained him to see you like this.  Your back arched so dramatically that he had to hold onto your hips tight to keep you in his mouth, but he managed to maintain what he'd been doing— in fact, he didn't stop even when you started to whine and cry, feet digging into his back as you tried not to explode from the overstimulation on your sensitive clit.
"S-stop, s'too much, can't take it," you pleaded, looking down at him.
He looked back up at you with dark, dilated eyes that said 'you're gonna take it.'  His tongue lapped at you with renewed vigor, sending you tumbling over the edge again and again and again.
Tears were streaming down your face when he finally relented, standing up slowly and staring you down as he wiped his face with the back of his hand; your arousal had coated his mouth and most of his beard, too.  You bit down on your lip to stop it from shaking as he slotted himself between your legs again, slowly unbuttoning his shirt and smiling as he watched your gaze trail down every inch of newly-exposed skin.
You knew he was in good shape, because it was always obvious, but you still shivered a little when you were greeted with chiseled muscles, dusty-blonde hair, a few stray freckles and scars, and last but not least, the gauze wrapping on his arm where you’d patched him up before.  It was nice to see a piece of your handiwork on something so flawless, like how it must feel to design the frame that holds a Monet.  Your mouth was even watering as you followed the trail of hair down to where it was interrupted by his jeans, which were misshapen with the unmistakable outline of his neglected cock.  Either you could actually hear it throbbing, or that was just your heartbeat in your ears as he made a show of undoing his buckle and fly slowly.
A breath caught in your throat as he slid the jeans down and kicked them off with his boots, his cock bouncing up against the bottom of his abs once he’d freed it.  You hoped to hide your intimidation, but you must have failed from the way he smirked and licked his lips as he stepped forward and pressed it against your stomach; you felt a little dizzy seeing the head of it reach past your bellybutton.  "That's how deep I'm gonna be in you, baby."
For all his delicacy and tenderness in everything before now, he must have had a change of heart; with a little growl, he pushed all the way into you with one brutal thrust, watching darkly as your head fell back in a choked scream.  He didn’t stop for very long, either, setting up a pace that was slow but unyielding, his length filling every part of you and then some with each slam of his hips into yours.
He grabbed your hair tightly and suddenly, pulling your head back to expose your neck to him.  He licked and sucked along your pulse until you were shaking against him, nails accidentally digging into his shoulders a little bit as you held onto him.
His lips trailed up to pull you into a frenzied, sloppy kiss, your mouth slack wide for him to explore however he wanted.
"Tell me how it feels," he growled against your lips.
It feels like my body is on fire but I like it.  It feels like you're shaping my insides to fit you exactly how you want.  It feels like you might split me in half before you're done with me, but if you stop now I'll fall apart even worse.
His grip on your hair tightened at your lack of response.  "Gettin' fucked too good to answer me, huh?  So full of my cock you can't even speak.  Is that right, pretty baby?"
You nodded as you buried your face in the crook of his neck, your hoarse moans and sobs muffled by his skin.
"Aw, poor thing," he purred, wrapping his arms around your back.  His lips brushed against your ear as he spoke to you in a deep mumble, the bass of his voice sending shivers down your spine with each word.  "You don't have to tell me, I know how it feels… you're so wet that you're fucking dripping, your needy little pussy is clamping down on me like it's the end of the fucking world, and you're screaming for me so loud I bet half the ship can hear you.  I know how it feels, baby; it feels so good that you're already about to come for me."
You gasped as he pushed you to lay back on the table, hoisting your legs up over his shoulders; you felt a bit whorish seeing your legs up in the air like that, especially when he leaned to the side to plant a wet kiss on your calf.
Soon he was letting your legs slip back down to his hips, leaning over you and caging you in with his thick arms, watching your face as he started to fuck you harder.  His long hair was at risk of tickling you as it fell down beside your face, but it was that Star of David necklace that was dangling from his neck and swinging right in your face with every thrust.  Slightly annoyed by it hitting your face from time to time, you stuck out your tongue to catch it, holding it between your teeth and finding that biting down on it helped you cope with the slight pain of him so deep inside you anyways.
"Baby," he moaned, inspired by the sight to grab your hips even tighter and slam into you even harder.  "Fuck, I'm close," he hissed.  "Gonna fill you up so good, baby, gonna ruin you for anybody else, huh?"
"Yes, Ari," you whimpered.  "I'm close, too…"
"Go ahead, pretty girl, wanna feel how tight you get when you come— when I make you come."
Trying to hold it back only made it hit you harder, and as your moans grew louder and your body began to shake, you felt your walls flutter and flex intensely.  He pulled his necklace out of your mouth and kissed you suddenly; it kept you grounded as you feared that the rest of you would float away, lost in pleasure so thoroughly that you'd never come back to reality.  His moans mixed with yours as they moved between your tongues, and just when you thought you'd break into pieces if he didn't slow down, you felt his movements stutter and his cock pump inside you.  You couldn't feel the warmth of it because you were already so hot all over, but the way his cock swelled as he came was unmistakable and overwhelmingly erotic.
He broke the kiss but didn't pull away, catching his breath while he stayed inside you, resting his forehead against yours.
After cooling off for a moment, he scooped your limp body into his arms and lifted you into his chest; you wrapped around him and let him carry you to the other side of the room where he set you down on the pallet sleeping bags and blankets.  You whimpered as he pulled out, his softening cock still big enough to make you wince.  The gush of warm, sticky come made your cheeks burn even if it also sent a dulled tingle of arousal up your spine.  He was gentlemanly enough to wipe you off with a towel, mumbling something about how pretty you looked stuffed with his come, but you couldn't really focus on any of that because you were still waiting for sensation to return to your numbed extremities— brain included.
He turned his head and laid it on your chest, and you found yourself absent-mindedly scratching his scalp with your nails.
"That's nice," he whispered, but you could tell that already by the way his skin was erupting into goosebumps, and the way he held you tighter.
You must've laid like that for hours, or maybe it was just a few minutes, but it was one of those moments that felt like a piece of forever.  He lifted his head to look up at you, pulling you down a bit so his face hovered over yours.
"What's next for you after you get these women to Greece?" he asked quietly.
You chewed your lip as you thought about that.  "Back to DC, I figure, and then wherever they send me next.  I hear they might want me undercover in Cuba or Russia…"
"How often do you end up in Jerusalem?"
You squirmed a little beneath him, but he slipped his arm under your neck and pulled you closer; how were you supposed to think with his bicep right by your face like that?  "Uh, not often, but if I'm in town I'll give you a call—"
"Come with me," he requested softly.  "Get to Cyprus, go to Greece, and then meet me in Tel Aviv."
"Ari, I can't—"
"Why not?"
You laughed a little, but he clearly wasn’t joking.  "Because I have a job?"
"You won't need a job," he shrugged, "I make good money and you can just live with me."
Your throat went dry as you stammered, trying to figure out if he had seriously just asked you to quit your job and move in with him.
"You'll like Israel.  You speak some Hebrew don't you?"
"Uhh, yeah but—"
"Then what's stopping you?"
You couldn't answer because you didn't even know where to start with all the things that were stopping you.  Your mouth opened and closed silently like a fish out of water, and he laughed at you lightly.
"Just say yes," he encouraged gently, and your heart twisted as you wondered if this was part of the deal, if you needed to do everything he wanted to keep him on your side.  You were on an Israeli ship, sailing international waters; if he changed his mind now, he could still sell you out and have these people arrested or worse.  But he wouldn't do that, right?
Perhaps the more important question was not 'would he do that?' but rather 'are you willing to find out?'
"Yes," you heard yourself answer before you even realized you were considering it.
He grinned, hugging you tightly.  He was already rambling about how great it was going to be and how he would spoil you all the time and maybe find a way to get you hired as a contractor at Mossad so he could bring you along on missions, but you couldn't hear it past the ringing in your ears. You desperately needed sleep, and his arms were warm and welcoming as you drifted off.  He kissed your forehead before letting his eyes fall shut as well, joining you in unconsciousness.
The swaying of the ship was like being rocked to sleep, so much so that you slept for an uncharacteristically long time: you were just a few hours out from your destination when you awoke, in fact.
Instead of getting up and attempting to acquire some food, you laid there staring up at the ceiling as his heavy arm draped over your chest.   Even in his sleep he had power over you, refused to let you go.  You tried to remember how you'd ended up in this situation but instead you found yourself fantasizing about a chance at love.  After running around the world for so long, there weren't many good men left to settle down with.  And Ari was maybe not an entirely good man, but you believed him when he said he would treat you well.  You'd shacked up with a lot worse in your time, when you were young and reckless and thought the worst thing you could be was alone.  Still, a long-suppressed desire for companionship was awakening in your mind and you weren't going to swallow it back down this time.  Smiling, you lifted his hand to your lips and kissed his knuckles.  If what he wanted in exchange for his cooperation was your affection, you could do that.

can you write an ari levinson imagine where the colonel touches you to piss off ari because he saw how angry he got when he touched the staff
Broke me
Ari Levinson x agent!Reader
warnings: language, sexual harassment, violence
summary: in which he defends you
A/N: sorry if some of the translations are off i’m trying my hardest n if it needs correcting n you can help me then please (bolded are the english translations from the arabic) + using arabic in tumblr was so hard like i genuinely got so frustrated + i hope this is what you wanted
“This… This was delicious! Oh! Maybe I’ll bring Abu Aziz to come cook for me, hey?” the colonel chuckles. The sound brought shivers down your spine and you looked down at the food to shake your head discreetly. You looked back up and Ahmed grabbed a staff member’s arm — Nathifa. Your grip around the fork tightened, “من أين أنت؟”
“Don’t do that,” Ari scolded. You listened intently to what the man says to her — ready to step in.
You knew how to speak over thirty languages and you were an amazing fighter — trained as an assassin to kill people like Ari and Sammy until you realized they weren’t the bad ones.
The colonel hums — urging her to speak. She pauses before replying, “Muhammad Qol.”
“Do you know why I love Hadandawa women? Because they are absolutely wild in the sack!” Ahmed speaks — his English heavily accented. Soldier’s join in his laughter as you stare in disgust.
He pulls her into his lap and Rachel shouts, “Hey!”
Ari slips his knife off of the table. You give Nathifa an apologetic look and tears brim in her eyes.
“Because they don’t feel anything down there. Their fathers cut them when they are very young, so you have to be very rough for them to feel anything at all.”
Nathifa screams as he bends over.
Ari immediately slams on the table and jumps up, “I said don’t!”
Soldier’s point their guns at Ari and you lunge at one of them, but Jake grabs your arm. He pulls you into him to stop you as you watch the colonel laugh at Ari. You could’ve disarmed one man and killed all of them — you’d done so with much stronger men, but then the mission would be compromised.
“Or what? Huh? What?” the colonel asks cockily. You prayed that Ari just pressed the knife in, but also wished for him to stand down. The colonel adds to his little threatening questions, “What is it that you are planning on doing with that knife, Mr. Thomas?”
“Hopefully just eat my dinner,” Ari replies, lowering the makeshift weapon. Jake lets go of your arm now that things had calmed down. The colonel practically throws Nathifa and she runs out. You try to apologize but she just smiles and leaves your sight.
“Funny thing is… Hadandawa women are all the same, so boring,” Ahmed continues. You felt his eyes scan the room, his eyes landing on you. You shifted as his eyes raked up and down your body. He grins that disgustingly cocky grin, “Foreign women… so exquisite. How can I help myself? I just get so excited!”
He grabs your wrist and pulls you to his body. He pulls your back flush to his front and you gasp quietly.
“Let her go,” Ari says through gritted teeth.
“I thought this dinner was you sharing with me.”
The laugh makes you shiver as he licks your earlobe. You look at Ari, a pained expression on both of your faces — you couldn’t take it any longer. You elbow the colonel and turn him around — twisting his arm so his wrist was between his shoulder blades. A soldier hits your head harshly with the butt of his gun and you grunt when you hit the ground. Another soldier does the same to Ari the moment the knife is lifted again.
“Feisty,” Ahmed chuckles. He shrugs, “I’m not hungry anymore.”
The soldiers follow Ahmed out of the resort as Jake helps you up. You wave him away and he lifts his hands, turning back to his previous spot.
“You alright?” Ari groans.
“Fuckin’ perfect,” you reply, “Anybody know where Nathifa went?”
Before you could get an answer you walked off, you already knew they didn’t. You went to the usual building she stayed in but found the refugees instead. You clear your throat and look at Sammy, the two dead bodies still there.
“If my DNA is still on that dude I swear,” you growl.
“We’ll get rid of it later,” Sammy says, “Give us a minute.”
You roll your eyes and run throughout the small resort till you find her. Nathifa looks up at you and frowns.
”ماذا حدث لك؟“ ,Nathifa asks
What happened to you?
“لا يهم” ,you reply ”هل أنت بخير؟“
Doesn’t matter. Are you alright?
”خائف قليلاً، لكني بخير“ ,She nods
I’m a little scared, but I’m fine.
A light knock at the door causes you both to look at Ari, “Just came to check on you two.”
You smile and turn to Nathifa. The woman nods to silently tell you to go with him. The small smile appears on your lips again for her before leaving with Ari — the two of you walking on the beach.
“I’m fine,” you say before he can ask the inevitable question. The sand is cold beneath your feet as the frigid air blankets you.
“That was—” he pauses as if he needed to find the words. Ari Levinson is never rendered speechless in this sense, but right now he couldn’t come up with a description. A moment passes, “That was the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”
“That’s an exaggeration,” you say, stuffing your hands in the pockets of your romper. He shakes his head with a chuckle.
“It’s not. I may have seen people get shot, stabbed, punched, kicked — I’ve seen it all,” he says, “But none of it compared to watching you get hurt.”
You laugh nervously, “Really committed to this role, huh?”
The reference to your fake identities — you two were fake dating for the mission. The only reason that had to be was that they wanted two names on the lease and you were the only one up for kissing Ari — all the men opted out for seemingly obvious reasons while Rachel was just disgusted by it, much to Ari’s offense.
“Do you ever let people worry about you?” he laughs incredulously.
“Excuse me?” you question — confused by what he said.
“You always have these walls up, nobody gets in. Nobody sees the real you ever. And then when someone has any positive emotion towards you — you push them away,” he explains.
“I have no clue what you’re talking about,” you reply stiffly.
“You’re probably the smartest person ever, you know what I mean,” he says.
“Ari now is not the time,” you say.
“Not the time to what? Have feelings? Just because they’re for you, it’s not the time?”
You purse your lips, “The last time I allowed myself to invite somebody in I was held captive and forced to shoot him. They made him put a gun to my head and I did the same. He was meant to kill me, you know? They gave us the wrong guns — his was supposed to be loaded, not mine. I was supposed to die.”
“That won’t happen because I’ll protect you!” he exclaims. He was practically begging for you to at least call him a friend — every night he replayed you calling him an acquaintance in his mind because it was a step up from ‘that one coworker.’
“That’s what everyone says, Ari, then they die. My mother, my father, my sister, my ex,” you say, “They are all dead.”
“But they kept the promise! You’re still here because they protected you!” he says. He grabs your arm and turns you to him.
“I can’t do this Ari. I can’t love you,” you whisper.
“You can because you already do!” he says. His eyes search yours for any signs of weakness and he could see that he was wearing away at the mask you put on everyday. He shakes his head, “Just stop being scared.”
“I’m not scared,” you scoff quietly.
“If you weren’t scared you wouldn’t be running away from your fee—”
You grab the back of his neck and pull him down to your lips. When you two had kissed before, to keep up your cover, it felt nothing like this. The mission kisses were forced and boring — this was full of passion, feeling, love.
“Congrats, you broke me,” you whisper, forehead against his.

The Mission Chapter 20
Tumblr media
Pairings: Ari Levinson x Reader
Warnings:  angst, uncomfortable matters
Trigger Warnings: sexual harassment
Summary: Ari Levinson tries to recruit you for Operation Brothers.  While you weren’t ready for any kind of mission, you obliged after much consideration. You didn’t plan on falling in love along the way.  But will Ari return those feelings? Or will his heart only be on the mission?
You had never felt more alone, yet you were with Rachel and Jake while Ari and Max went to see Kabede, letting him know the mission, for the time being, was over.
You had finally let Ari know how you felt, that you were in love with him.  And while you stood in front of him in that moment of truth, it looked like he wanted to tell you something as well, something important but the knock on the door interrupted your time.  On the surface, you played it out as he didn’t have feelings for you, couldn’t have feelings for you.  The mission was the number one thing you all were working on, but deep down, you thought he had some sort of a semblance of feelings for you.
Making your way to the kitchen, you helped out Chef Aziz and what he was making for dinner.  It smelled delicious as your stomach grumbled, wanting some food.
You heard what sounded like at least one truck in the distance as you raced to the front of the resort; your heart stopping at what you had seen.  It wasn’t Ari; it was Commander Ahmed and a few of his soldiers.
Racing back into the resort, you gasped for air, remembering how uncomfortable you were the last time you saw him.  He was speaking Arabic to his soldiers, telling him how easily foreign women bruised and you were so afraid he would take you, like he had mentioned before.
“What’s wrong?” Rachel came up to you, placing a soothing hand on your back.
You looked up into her worried eyes.  “It’s Commander Ahmed,” was all you needed to say.
~~~
Ari, Sammy and Max got the refugees loaded onto the trucks and they headed back to the resort.  But when they began to get closer, they realized they weren’t alone.
Ari grabbed the CB radio in his hand, ready to let Max know behind him what was going on.  “Max, we’ve got company.  Commander Ahmed is here.  I need you to stay back while I go inside and distract him and his men. Begin to move the refugees into the spare rooms at the far end of the resort.”
“Copy that,” Max’s voice came across the other end of the radio.
Ari hopped out of the truck, rushing through the front door of the resort where he was met with Rachel and Commander Ahmed.
“Commander,” Ari said, opening the front door.  “To what do we owe this pleasure?”
“I was just treating my men to some of Abu Aziz’s famous cooking,” the Commander responded.  Ari noticed Rachel standing behind him, a worried look on her face.  His mind began to panic, but he needed to be confident on the outside; show that nothing was amiss.
“Great, let’s not keep him waiting,” Ari quipped, walking around Commander Ahmed.
“Stop.”  Ari stopped walking, turning around to face him, who then began speaking Arabic to his men.  “Soldier…,”
A soldier came over to the Commander, standing in front of him.  “Yes, sir.”
“Stop the truck.  Check the back.”  The soldier nodded, rounding up a few others to go and check the truck.
Ari looked at the soldiers hustling outside.  He and his crew knew a few basic words in Arabic, but nothing compared to what you knew and he didn’t know what was happening.  He placed his hands in his front pockets and waited for the Commander to speak.
“I just want to see what is in the back of your truck,” he said with a sly smile.
“What for?” Ari asked with a shrug.
“It will please me.”
Ari took his hands out of his pockets, lifting them as if saying ‘ok then’.  He turned to see Jake standing there, but not you.  He was truly beginning to worry about you; not only from this morning, but also because the soldiers were here and he remembered you being extremely uncomfortable around them last time even though you didn’t physically show it.
He looked out the front door to see the soldiers inspecting the truck as Sammy sat in the driver’s seat; his heart hammering so hard he could hear the blood pumping in his ears. He only prayed Max got the refugees hidden in time.
Colonel Ahmed continued to stare at Ari, a large smile on his face as he was sure his soldiers would find them smuggling.
“It’s empty sir,” one of the soldiers came back into the resort.  “No one is in there.”  The Colonel’s face dropped, his smile long gone now as Ari’s shoulders relaxed.
Colonel Ahmed let out a stuttering laugh, looking between Ari and Rachel.  “So.  Dinner.”
“Great,” Ari replied, turning to walk towards the dining area, hoping to see you and make sure you were ok.
~~~
You didn’t know if you could be strong or brave enough this time around.  After this morning with Ari, telling him, well, more like yelling, how you felt about him, you had become such a mess.  And now the military was here and you just wanted to have a breakdown.
Colonel Ahmed sat down right next to you as him and his soldiers helped themselves to food.  Your hands were placed in your lap, wringing your fingers together tightly as you tried to make sure your breathing was under control.
The Colonel leaned over and began talking in your ear in Arabic, thinking you wouldn’t understand what he was saying.  “You are a very beautiful woman Lina,” his voice was low, but held a bit of evil behind it as you tried not to shudder at his close proximity.  “I’ve thought about you being in my bed ever since I first saw you last year.”  His fingers wrapped around your exposed arm and you had a moment of panic.  Looking down, you sighed internally with relief as you saw your tattoo was covered with bracelets.  “So soft,” he hummed, tracing his finger up and down your arm as his soldiers laughed, watching him.
“It seems your boss is here,” he said, speaking English this time.
“Great.  I will make sure he comes straight in here,” Rachel remarked, standing up from the table as your frightened eyes willed her not to leave you.
“I will go with you to greet him.  Soldier,” he said, nodding to one of his men. “Come on over here and keep this pretty little thing company,” he said in Arabic.
Doing your best, you managed a smile at the Commander as he got up from next to you and the soldier took his place.  This soldier was much more intimidating as he was a lot taller and much more buff than the Commander.
Willing your shaking body to compose, you grabbed your glass of water and took small sips, feeling nauseas from the event happening; all the while, the soldier was staring at you with an evil grin.
You could hear Ari talking from the entrance of the resort and you wanted nothing more than to run to him; run into the safety of his arms.  There was no telling how this night would end.  Would you all be killed because they found out you were smuggling? Would there somehow be a miracle and you all would get away with everything?
Feeling a hand at your exposed thigh because of your shorts, you jumped, yelping in surprise.  Eyes wide, you looked down to see the soldier’s large hand splayed along your thigh; his dark eyes narrowing at you with a sinister smile on his face.
“Please-please remove your hand,” you asked nicely, trying to pry his hand off of you but he was much stronger than you, his grip tightening on your leg that it was beginning to be painful.
“What?  You don’t like it when a man touches you?” he nearly growled out; your heart beginning to race and it was hard to breath regularly, and the soldier noticed.  As his hand began to trail further up your leg, Ari rounded the corner, along with Rachel, the Commander and his soldiers.
“Hey!” Ari yelled, seeing your discomfort and the soldier’s hands on you.  He began to step towards the soldier but the Commander stopped him, grabbing his arm.
“He is not doing any harm. I asked him to keep sweet Lina here company while I came to greet you is all,” the Commander laughed, an evil glint in his eye as he shooed the soldier out of the seat and sat down next to you.
Your eyes were wide as Ari kept his glance on you as he moved to sit opposite you at the table; his jaw clenching so hard you could see it in his jawbone.  He saw your lip began to tremble and you quickly pulled it into your mouth to stop the quiver.  The Commander was turned around, facing the resort and talking to his men as you looked into Ari’s eyes across from you, hoping for comfort.
“Breathe,” Ari mouthed the word to you and you gave him the most miniscule nod, letting him knew you understood him.  Slowly, as to not make anything noticeable, you began to regulate your breathing; eyes on Ari the entire time and he gave you a weak smile in return.  Fuck you hoped he had some sort of plan to get these soldiers out of here.
Commander Ahmed turned around in his seat to face Ari as he placed his arm around the back of your chair; his fingers dancing lightly on your shoulder and it didn’t go unnoticed by Ari.
“Is there something I can help them find?” Ari asked, nodding towards the direction of the soldiers walking around the resort with their guns.
“They are just doing their job.”  Just then, Nathifa came out and placed more food on the table.  You gave her a weak smile.  “What’s good today?” the Commander asked Nathifa in Arabic and you internally stiffened.  The Commander had no idea you could speak Arabic and you had been speaking that way to the staff this entire time.  You mentally cursed yourself as you clenched your eyes shut.
“We have fresh sea bass and crab,” Nathifa replied in the native tongue as you saw Jake shift uncomfortably at the table.
“Look at me,” Commander Ahmed said to Nathifa in Arabic.  She quickly glanced up at him as he began to speak in their native tongue to her yet again.  “Pretend we are talking about the food.  Do you ever see refugees, not guests, brought into this hotel?”
Immediately your heart skipped a beat, and not in a good way.  Your breathing grew heavier, your eyes locking with Ari’s across the table as you silently tried to tell him that what they were saying wasn’t good.
Commander Ahmed, with his arm around your shoulder, pulling you hastily into his side; his nose at your hairline and deeply inhaling your scent, almost like an animal breathing in the fear of its prey.
“The whites, do they sometimes leave at night?” he asked Nathifa.  Before, you knew that you were all careful and that not once had there been refugees brought back to the resort.  But now you were frightened beyond belief.
You looked into Nathifa’s eyes as your chin quivered; Commander Ahmed’s breath hot on your cheek.
“Now and then, not every night,” she responded.
“And when do they come back?”
“The next morning.”
Rachel got up from the table, softly saying she would be right back.  You had no idea where she was off to, but you just wanted this night to end.  The Commanders arm was still slung around you and he was much too close for your liking.
“If I find out that you’re helping the whites do something illegal here I will hang you and your family.”
Nathifa choked back a sob and Ari noticed as he stared down the Commander.  “Nathifa,” he said her name calmly and she turned to look at him. “Go help Aziz with the food.”
“Well,” the Commander said with a chuckle, “this was delicious.  Oh!  Maybe I’ll bring Abu Aziz to come ook for me, hey?”
Just then, Nathifa came back out to the table and started to gather up the plates, but Commander Ahmed grabbed her arm, not letting her go.  “Where are you from?”
“Don’t do that,” Ari asked, his voice composed.
He looked to Ari, unhooking his arm from around your shoulder and you visible relaxed, but now you were scared for Nathifa.
“Hmm?  Hmm?”
“Muhammad Qol,” she replied as he kept his grip tight on her waist so she couldn’t walk away.
Turning to Ari, he smiled. “Do you know why I love Hadandawa women? Because they are absolutely wild in the sack.”  His soldiers, along with him, began to laugh.  “It is because they don’t feel anything down there.  Their fathers cut them when they are very young, so you have to be very rough for them to feel anything at all.”
He let his grip go on Nathifa and in one quick motioned, he grasped you around the waist and held you onto his lap.
“Hey!” Rachel said, but he didn’t stop.
“But foreign women are so much different.  You have to be gentle with them.  But being rough with them is also quite fun!”  Just as he said that last line, his hand dove between your thighs and you let out a startling scream.
Ari slammed his fists on the table and shot up from his chair; the Commander doing the same as you fell to the hard ground.  “Knock it off!” he roared, getting in the Commanders face.
Rachel and Jake rushed around the table to help you off the floor and that’s when you noticed Ari had a dinner knife placed at the Commanders neck; all of his soldiers raising their guns to Ari.
“Or what? Huh?” the Commander laughed, raising his arms.  “What?  What is it that you are planning on doing with that knife, Mr. Thomas?”
You were frozen in your spot, numb, as you watched Ari breathing deeply.  “Hopefully just eat my dinner.”
One of the soldiers cracked Ari over the back of his head with the butt of a gun and Ari went down hard on the ground.  Covering your mouth up with your hand as to not gasp, you waited on bated breath for what was to happen next.
The Commander and his soldiers left, after he made the comment of not being hungry anymore.  Ari got up slowly and made his way to the entrance to watch them drive away.
“They’re going to be back soon.  With numbers.”
“Especially when they figure out they’re one man short,” Max announced.
“What do you mean? What did you do?” Ari asked, but Max and Sammy turned to look at Rachel instead.
Everyone followed Rachel to the room where the refugees were stationed.  Inside, there was a dead soldier lying on the ground.
“Ok.  Buy me a day.  Make sure they’re taken care of but completely invisible.  Don’t let the staff in here.  Max and Sammy, take the truck, get the rest of the group,” Ari declared; he then pointed to Jake.  “Get a hold of Ethan and let him know what’s going on.”
Ari placed an arm around your shoulder and herded you out of the room and towards the room you shared with him.

Common Tongues (Ari Levinson x reader)
Type: Ari Levinson x reader (some mentions of smut)
Requested by @peach-acid I hope you enjoy it!! :)
Tumblr media
The sun felt hot against your skin, Ari stood by your side while sunbathing with you, enjoying the quietness. You looked him up, earning a grin from him which made you chuckle.
“I have a class in a few minutes, will you join us?” You asked him, your eyes now closed facing the sun. Ari got up, facing the sea for a while trapped in his thoughts. You opened your eyes again, calling him softly “Ari?”
He looked down at you, a small smile playing on his lips “Yeah... Sure. I will.” He said.
You got up, facing him, your hands caressing both his cheeks. He kissed the palm of your hands, giving them a light squeeze before you were interrupted by Max calling you out for the starting of the class.
When Ari contacted you to join the team on this mission you would never guess anything that happened until here. You were hired as an Arabic translator for the team, but you were going undercover giving pottery classes to the guests.
“Enough isn’t it?” Max teased you both already sitting by the table. You rolled your eyes calling Rachel in case she wanted to join you as well.
Ari gave him a small slap on the back of his head making him wince playfully. Everyone sat by the table as you started the class, enjoying your teaching. You watched Ari as he looked concentrated doing his art, your attention is taken away when one of the guests called you to help.
“Do you need any help, Mr. Thomas?” You asked Ari, sitting next to him.
“I think I’m pretty good with these two hands, but thank you.” He said poking his tongue out, making you blush and now, chuckle.
After finishing the class you helped the guests bring their creations inside so it could bake and later on they could paint it. You entered your bedroom, washing your hands getting rid of the paint and the dirt. You gasped when you felt two hands grab your waist, your body relaxing when you noticed It was Ari.
“You scared me...” You said trying to catch your breath.
“I’m sorry...” He hummed, his nose pressed slightly against your neck inhaling your scent.
“Shouldn’t you be with Max on the diving spot?” You asked him, feeling his hands caress your exposed leg now that he pushed your dress slightly up.
“I should, but... More important things came up, because...” He paused, sucking on your soft skin, making you moan “ A very naughty, and sexy teacher just teased me about how I work with my hands.”
You bit your lip, letting Ari guide you both to bed your body embracing his, holding onto each other showing each other how much you were needed.
“F*ck, Ari...”
“Can you feel me, babygirl?” He whispered next to your ear, your bodies moving. You looked into his eyes, feeling his large hands on each side of your face making you look up at him, lust and love showing on those pure blue eyes, that you would never get tired of getting lost in.

“Whatever it takes”
Staring at the piece of paper in your hands, flipping it over and over, leaving it on the table then picking it up again, folding it between your books then then pulling it out to stare at it again. Putting it in weird places only for you to find it the next day without remembering putting it there in the first place.
You're feeling the effects of how much money you have in your control. It is so heavy that you can't imagine how wealthy people manage it.
Saying ‘yes’ to him having you, ‘yes’ to him loving you, taking care of you, and treating you properly the way you deserve to be treated will earn you five million dollars.
It's now been two weeks, and you need to decide—a decision that will completely alter the course of your life.
You feel shame for even thinking about accepting his offer. Sure, you work at a strip club but stripping was never a choice, in your situation it was a need, a necessity for you to live.
At first, you were scared to think about stripping off and dancing for old, scary drunk men who might actually hurt you. But thankfully, you overcame it all on your own and you have lived.
When you first met Ari, he was a regular with one of the girls, he would meet her every two weeks. until one day you arrived at work to learn that his girl had run off with someone, he then was assigned to you and became your problem.
You've never seen him before at the club; all you know about him is who he is and what he does for a living. He was a generous man and surprisingly kind to you as a result of your caution with him, compliance with his requests, and total lack of argument or upsetting him in any manner.
Months later, you started to sense a heavy, profound attraction to him that you were unable to pinpoint the beginning of. Coming into work was more than simply for earning money, you would look forward to the day he would show up for you. You knew that you love him no matter what. Soon enough you started to met outside of the club, he took you to his casino, introducing you to his most loyal men and his business partner.
You've at last discovered someone who doesn't care what you do for a living and accepts you for who you are. After your mother passed away, he was the first person you confided in.
You once lived in the finest neighborhood, attended the best school, and had a large social circle. Your mother was a stay-at-home mother, while your father worked as a real estate agent.
You were that spoiled girl who her cousins were envious of; your mother was your best friend; and you were your daddy's sweet princess.
That lasted until your dad had an affair with one of your mother's friends. He came clean with your mother, not to seek for forgiveness but to want a divorce because he wanted to wed his lover; his exact words were "I love Hannah and I want to build a new family with Her."
It was difficult for a ten-year-old to hear that, and it was heartbreaking to learn that your dad had so simply replaced both you and your mother with another woman.
Soon after, you moved in with your mother in a tiny apartment. She was heartbroken about being replaced after fifteen years of marriage and after having a child together, and you can't even remember how many times you saw her crying in her bed.
But it didn't take her long to get back on her feet and support her family; after a few weeks of looking for work, your mom began working for an elderly woman who runs a tailor shop. Ms. Julian gave your mom flexible shifts and helped a lot with you; you spent a lot of time at her shop because your mom couldn't afford a babysitter.
Your mother earned enough money to maintain you both while your father continued to pay for your education and send a child support payment each month.
You continued to see him, and at first everything was normal. He took you out to lunch with him and bought you toys before bringing you back to your house. However, years later, after he and his wife had a total of three children, he stopped paying attention to you.
Being around him was more than flesh and blood can stand; it hurt you beyond repair. By the time you were old enough to recognize your father's favoritism, you stopped going to him and blocked his number. In some cases, he even forgot to pick you up from school when it was his turn to do so. One of your teachers ended up taking you home.
When you turned nineteen, your mom was diagnosed with stage three leukemia، you were just beginning college, so you left to be with her and support her. It was heartbreaking to see her in such pain and be helpless to stop it. At the time, you wanted someone to be with you because you felt alone and helpless.
A year after her treatment she collapsed due to the new treatment not working out because of her weak body. She died quietly in your arms a month later.
That was the second breaking point for you; you recalled spending days sleeping in her room while telling yourself that you need to gain a sense of her presence before all traces of her disappears.
You were unable to return to school because you had to spend all of your savings on your mother's medical expenses. Yet, half of the amount were unpaid.
You used the money you saved by stripping to pay for necessities like your rent, water and electricity, transportation, food, and drinks. You couldn't save enough money to pay for your mom's medical expenses or to put yourself through college
You could have benefited from having a cheque for $5 million in more ways than you can imagine, including, your mother's medical bills, paying for college tuition, getting into the school of your choice, and becoming the lawyer you've always wanted to be.
The harassment you experience on public transportation could be avoided if you spent the money on a car. You could afford a lovely apartment and spend your days with the person you love enjoying the life you've always desired.
A deep voice in the back of your head telling you to be selfish; you deserve it. You can't live your entire life as a stripper.
Standing in front of his casino, you came to this place before, very frequently. When Ari made a bad deal and needed to vent his rage on someone, sex was usually the best option.
You were dressed in the nice black dress he had bought you, paired with matching black heels, and wearing your beige coat to keep your warm.
The large, tall man who stood in front of the door saw you and opened it for you. You were met by the strong aroma of expensive perfume and cigarette smoke. As you looked around, you noticed that everyone in the room was a politician or a business owner, celebrities you only see on TV.
You recall how to get to his office. You moved up the stairs. As you reached the top, a woman's loud laughter caught your attention.You turned to see a few of Ari's friends seated around the table.
One of Ari's guards called out, "Ms. y/l/n," and you glanced at him and said, "Yes”
“Follow me please," he led you to Ari's office, opening the door for you. When you entered, you looked back at the guard "He will be here in a minute," and you merely nodded. He left you after closing the office door.
Every thought is competing with one another, and the only sound you can hear is the loud pounding of your heart. You just wanted to scream to turn off your brain, and you wanted your heart and mind to agree on what you should do next. Your anxiety is increasing every minute.
After waiting for ten minutes, the door finally opened to reveal an eager man behind it. His face was as red as the couch behind you, his hair was messy, and he had no gun on him. His white dress shirt was stained with blood, and his bruised knuckles were proof that he had been punching someone. Was this the sweetest man you had ever met?
“have a set, angel eyes” you didn’t even notice you didn’t sit down since you came to his office, you sat on the couch, your hand clutching to your purse for dear life, looking down at your feet.
He waited for you to begin as he sat in front of you. He is ready for whatever you say.
“This money” you took a deep breath “a—god— I don’t know what to say”
“You want more?” He simply asked, like you just asked him for more food in your plate.
“NO!” You quickly told him, you sighed again “this money would save my life right now” a tear fall down your cheeks, admitting it out loud is not like thinking it.
When you finally met his eyes, you said, "I could pay my mom's bill, I could finally go to college and pursue my ambitions”
Until today, you had no idea how someone might fall in love or how his eyes could reveal it, but you can already see it in his eyes. He showed you a different kind of love than you had ever felt.
"I can't accept it if I know it will ruin someone's life; I can't ruin your wife's life, or your daughter's life, as much as I want this money, or at least a fourth of it."
He sighed loudly and stood up from his chair to sit beside you on the couch, He rotated his body to face you so that you had his full focus. He asked your permission before placing his hand on your thighs, you didn’t react which gave him the okay to do so.
“I divorced her” he told you simply in such a quiet way like it’s nothing,
You got quite for a second, did you actually do it? Did you ruin the innocent girl’s life? Did you ruin her mother’s life? Like what happened to yours?
“W-why?” The longer he grew quiet, the more you feared his response.
He said, "She asked for it," hoping you would just accept him.
“I didn't hesitate though” he said as he stared down at his bare finger on your thigh.
You touched his hand on your thigh, where he was looking for a minute now, wanting to get his attention “don’t lie to me, Ari”
"I'm not" Once his eyes caught yours once again, all you wanted to do now is kiss him. You wished you had met Him under different circumstances “she’s pregnant with someone else’s child”
“Did you hurt her?” You worriedly questioned, if he did hurt the mother of his daughter, god knows what he will do to you. His answer to this question will determine everything.
“No, never” getting closer and closer to you “I didn't expect her to stay faithful to me; her father forced her to marry me. she didn’t have a choice we weren’t meant to be” he explained “i just let her go,” he continued “So for fuck sake, just accept this money and come with me”
“What about your daughter?” The heat of his body are radiating into yours, making you feeling warmer. You long for the sensation of his body pressing up against yours.
Your lips were almost in contact with his as he said, "She's my top priority, then you, nothing else in between”
“i don’t want to be hurt again”
“You won’t” he assured.
“Do you really want me?”
“Oh angel eyes, you have no idea what would i do to make you mine” His hands brushed over your cheeks as he wiped away your tears, his thumb touched your bottom lip, and your eyes never left his.
Finally, he launched himself at you while holding you even closer with his hands wrapped around your torso. Heat erupted in your chest at the sensation of his lips pressing against yours. The next time you breathed, you felt the brokenness inside of you disperse and you lost awareness of your surroundings.
His perfume's distinctive, pricey fragrance. was unsettling. Your stomach bursts in flames with butterflies. His white shirt's collar is tightly gripped by your hands, drawing him nearer to you.
He only broke the kiss when you both needed to breathe. He leans forward, pressing your forehead to his while you both breathed simultaneously.
He sighed “i’m going to take every tear you dropped and turn them into laughs for the rest of your life”
Your palm caressed his cheeks as you opened your eyes to discover his blue eyes smiling back at you. You smiled lightly as tears continued to fall.
“you promise?”
"Reach to my right pocket," he said while grinning at you.
your hand is resting on the fabric of his suit, You gave him an odd look. You reached inside his pocket and pulled out a velvet black box, you knew exactly what was waiting you inside.
With your lips as wide as the letter ‘O’ ,you stared stunningly at him but refrained from peering inside.
"I really want you, Crystal, and the money is merely there to save you. But this ring—this ring is for you to be mine forever and I'll be yours,” he said, gesturing to the box in between your hands.
You looked at him again “if I agreed to this, what will change?
He declared without any hesitation "You're going to be my wife, and you'll have my last name; you'll be Mrs. Levinson.”
God, Mrs. Levinson, you really love the sound of it.
He continued “you said you wanted to go to law school? You’re are going to do that baby, you’re going to be the best lawyer”
He remembered! you find it hard to believe. He recalled asking you in one of his first private sessions about your dreams, and you remembered telling him about all of them
“I don’t want you to regret anything, Ari” your voice is a little bit shaking.
His hand is still around you, caressing your hips while his finger presses against your skin, "I've never been more sure of anything more than this in my life, Angel eyes."
You opened the box, looking inside at the most stunning ring you have ever seen, It must be more expensive than the cheque he gave you.
You spent a long time examining the ring in front of you, It was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen. If you said yes, it is yours.
"It must be expensive." You remarked, “no it’s not” He answered right instantly, dispelling any concerns you could have had about him spoiling you excessively. It's just getting started, sweetheart.
You took the ring out of the box and carefully examined it before turning to face Ari and said, "We need to take things slow, for your daughter."
“Obviously, she needs time to adjust to this new situation, as much as I want you to meet her”
You nodded your head repeatedly agreeing with him, “we will do things my way.” you looked at him sternly “you won’t disrespect me ever, Ari, I’ll use what i need from the money and i’ll return back what I don’t use”
“You don’t have t-“ he replied.
“I need to, please” you interpreted him, he sighed but nodded anyway, he just had you; there's no way he's ruining that for himself
You gave him the ring after giving him a nod. He put it on your finger while grinning broadly. He kissed your hands, and you massaged his cheeks one more before giving him a sweet and adoring kiss.
“People like me had warned me about falling in love. It dangerous, it only will bring us weaker. Yet, we all did it, and i have never been happier, i love you ya ruhi” he whispered to you
“It been long time since i have been this happy, i love you Ari”
He kissed you again, and as the night went on you realised Ari is nothing like your dad, he won’t hurt you, he won’t leave.
Turns out, falling for the dangerous man is not as bad as you think, he’s the monster who will die to protect you and you know it by heart.

The Mission Chapter 9
Tumblr media
Pairings: Ari Levinson x Reader
Warnings:  swearing, angst, fluff, mild smut (oral, male receiving)
Summary: Ari Levinson tries to recruit you for Operation Brothers.  While you weren’t ready for any kind of mission, you obliged after much consideration. You didn’t plan on falling in love along the way.  But will Ari return those feelings? Or will his heart only be on the mission?
The next morning you woke up early to find your bed empty, again.  Ari had come back to bed with you that night, holding you close and you slept peacefully.
Throwing on your bikini, you placed a white tank top over it, along with a sarong as you headed out to the main lobby.
You made a list of some things the resort would need before Ari caught your eye walking around the resort. He had a mug of coffee in his hand and wasn’t wearing a shirt; just some shorts.  Biting your lip, you took in his glorious body, feeling suddenly awake at the sight of him.
Watching him from the corner of your eye, he walked to the front of the resort to see Max teaching a Tai Chi class for the tourists before heading into the back towards the sea. Taking the clipboard with your list, you picked up your glass of water and went to sit on one of the lounge chairs on the patio outside.  The sun was warm on your face as you got back to your list.
“Morning,” Ari spoke, standing in front of you with his hands on his hips.
Your eyes were narrowed because of the sun, forgetting your sunglasses in your room.  “Morning Ari.”
His eyes roamed over your body, your leg showing from the slit in the sarong and your heart skipped a beat from his heated gaze.  “We’re taking the tourists out to go diving.  Did you want to come?”
You saw the group of tourists standing around the docks, wearing their wetsuits.  This is what you wanted to do since coming here, but Ari, along with Rachel, Max, Sammy and Jake were all going out there.  Deciding best to have a crew member stay back, you shook your head.
“Not this time.  I’ll stay back and keep an eye on the resort.”
Ari smiled, giving you a nod.  “Maybe I’ll take you out diving sometime.  Just us two.”
“I’d really like that.”
You waved them off as they started boated into the sea.  You had heard about the beautiful coral reefs and wide variety of fish in the Red Sea and you couldn’t wait for Ari to take you out himself.
~~~
Ari was having a great day. The operation last night was a complete success, he got a good night’s sleep as he held you, and now he was diving; something he loved to do but hadn’t done it in a long while.
He felt the string tugging on him, Sammy trying to get his attention so he swam to the surface.
Pulling off his mask, he looked up at his friend sitting in the dinghy.  “What’s up?”
“Turn around,” Sammy remarked, looking at the resort.
Ari turned around in the water, his heart sinking at what he saw.  They looked like government officials, decked out in dark clothing, all of them carrying guns.  But what angered him the most, was seeing you up against the wall of the resort, a terrified look on your face as someone loomed over you.
~~~
Sitting in the sun, you became hot so you removed your tank top, leaving your torso bare; your breasts pushed together from your bikini top.
That morning, you worked on your list, along with watching everyone diving.  They looked to be having a blast, which was great as you hoped it would bring in more tourists, making your cover story even more convincing.
Before long, there was a rumbling of vehicles from the road.  Setting your list down, you peaked around the corner of the resort to see three large trucks stopping.  While your heart began to hammer in your chest, you put on a smile as you waited for them at the side of the resort; hoping Ari would see what was going on and come back to the shore.
A man in camouflage hopped out of one of the trucks, an air of authority to him.  He saw you and marched right over.  He towered over you, a menacing scowl on his face and you backed up into the building.
“Can I help you gentlemen?” you asked with a German accent, just like Rachel’s.  Ethan had told you about Rachel’s alias and you thought it would be a good idea to make it seem like you and Rachel were friends, business partners.
He was standing in front of you, so close, and took of his glasses.  His eyes seemed threatening, a smile pulling at his lips as he stared at your chest.  You were terrified on this inside, and while you tried to keep your cool on the outside, you knew you faltered a bit.
“I’m Commander Abdel Ahmed,” he spoke with a rough voice.  “Are you the owner of this resort?”  He placed one hand against the wall, caging you in as his men walked around with their rifles and guns.
“I am not.  I am one of the managers however.  My name is Lina,” you spoke as confidently as you could, even though you felt your legs begin to shake.
He laughed, turning to face his men.  “Look at this woman.  She is nearly shaking in her skin.  Do you know how amazing it is to be with foreign women?  They are so delicate and it is quite fun to be rough with them in the bedroom.  What I wouldn’t give to take her back to my room right now,” he spoke in Arabic to his men and you had to hold back the disgusting shudder your body wanted to give off.  This man could easily just grip you in his arms and take you to where he wanted you to; you had no combat training in your life and you would be easily overcome by him.
Your heart was beating so fast, you could hear the blood pumping in your ears; all other sounds completely ceasing to exist in this moment.  He smirked again at you, his eyes descending and stopping at the scar on your side.  Just as his free hand came up to touch it, Ari’s voice broke through your head.
“Hi.  Can I help you?”  The Commander pulled away from you, putting his sunglasses on and turned to Ari.  You let out a silent sigh, relaxing just a bit as he walked away from you.
The Commander began to talk about how there was an accident the night before; trucks plowing through a road block and he wanted to check the backs of the trucks here, for bullet holes.
Ari eyed you as he walked by, a hint of anger on his face, his jaw clenched and you were uncertain if it was directed at you, or at the Commander.
You stayed close to the wall, feeling Rachel come up behind you for moral support as the two of you watched Ari and the Commander look over the trucks.
“I hope you come and visit us again real soon,” Ari said, hands on his hips as the Commander and his men made their way back to their trucks.
As they drove away, you finally let out a deep breath, but the events of the last fifteen minutes made you nauseas.  Backing away from the group, you turned and ran towards your room; a hand over your mouth.
Barely making it to the toilet, you purged what little food you ate for breakfast; your hands shaking on the toilet seat.  Sinking onto the floor, you ripped the toilet paper off the roll and wiped your mouth of your vomit.
“Y/N?” you heard Ari’s frantic voice calling through the room.  In your haste to get to the toilet, you didn’t even shut the door and that’s where he found you.  He took in your frame, slumped on the floor and he bent down to you.  “Hey, you ok?”  You could see his jaw still clenching, your arm waving to dismiss him.
“I’m fine.  I just need a minute,” you responded.  He shut the door behind him and you flushed the toilet before grabbing your toothbrush and brushing the smell from your mouth.
Hearing Ari shut the front door of the hut, you went to your bed and sat down.  Bending over, you placed your head in your hands, feeling utterly useless with what happened today.  You were unsure as to why Ethan thought you would be a good fit for this mission; it seemed like you didn’t have the useful skills as the others did.
You just needed to get out of your head for a few minutes; sulking and coming down hard on yourself wasn’t going to get you anywhere; you needed to remain poised and collected for the mission.
The door opened and you saw Ari walk into your room with a glass of water.  With a smile, you took it from him, sipping the cool liquid.
“Are you mad at me?” you asked, placing the glass down on the night stand.
His head whipped to face you, hands falling to his side.  “What?  Why the hell would you think I would be mad at you?”
“You just seemed mad when you walked passed me out there earlier.”
“Y/N,” he said your name softly, coming to cup your face with his large hands.  “I was not mad at you.  I saw you from the boat and the way the Commander was standing so close to you. You did amazing out there.”
“I was terrified Ari,” you said, nearly snapping at him, feeling guilty.
“I couldn’t see it, and neither could they.  You held yourself confidently and did everything right.  Hell, if you hadn’t stayed back at the resort, they could have gone through some of our rooms and found things that could have easily blown our cover.  I’m proud of you.”  You nodded, not bothering to tell him what the Commander said to his troops, making you feel frightened.
His praise was exactly what you needed to hear.  Gripping him by the back of his head, you crashed your lips to his.  Ari’s hands wrapped around your back, pulling you closer; but you had other plans.
Turning so his back was to the bed, you pushed him to sit down; your hands making quick work of the zipper on the front of his wetsuit.  He saw the glint in your eyes and helped you move it down his body.
Your hands at his chest, you gently pushed him onto his back.  His chest hair looked so inviting as your hands racked down his naked front. A guttural growl escaped his lips as your hands traveled south; the bulge in his pants evident of his arousal.
With slow teasing hands, you peeled down his swim trunks, his thick cock springing free and laying against his stomach.  Your mouth began to water at the sight of him and you needed him inside of you.
Wrapping your fingers around his shaft, your tongue darted out, teasing his slit.  Ari’s hips jutted at the feeling; his chest heaving.  You loved seeing him fall apart so easily at your hands.
You began to pump his softly as your tongue danced around his tip.  After teasing him long enough, you sunk your mouth onto him, taking as much as you could and hollowed out your cheeks, slowly moving your head back up. Keeping your eyes on Ari, you saw him fisting the sheets as your mouth assaulted his cock.
Placing your left hand at his base, you right hand traveled south, cupping his balls.  “Fuck that feels so good Y/N,” Ari rasped out, his hand coming up to card through your hair.  He leaned up on his elbow, one hand in your hair as he watched you work on him.  His eyes were dark, watching his cock disappear into your mouth as you swallowed around him.  His eyes rolled into the back of his head and fuck, he looked so good right now.
Your hand pumped his base where your mouth couldn’t fit, your head bobbing up and down quickly, wanting to see him let go.  “Yes, right there baby,” he cooed, his hand gripping your hair tighter.  His hips began to jut upwards and you knew he was close as you worked your hand faster.  “Shit, I’m going to come.”  Winking at him gave him the only encouragement he needed to let go.  His hot seed coated your mouth and throat as Ari collapsed back onto the bed.  You swallowed everything he gave you as your tongue began to lap around his dick, cleaning off the mess.
Ari looked utterly spent, splayed out on the bed and you could only smile, knowing it was all because of you pleasuring him.

The Mission Chapter 3
Tumblr media
Pairings: Ari Levinson x Reader
Warnings: swearing, slight fluff
Summary: Ari Levinson tries to recruit you for Operation Brothers.  While you weren’t ready for any kind of mission, you obliged after much consideration. You didn’t plan on falling in love along the way.  But will Ari return those feelings? Or will his heart only be on the mission?
The breeze and mist of the Red Sea felt wonderful on your hot warm skin.  The man steering the boat killed the engine and everyone turned to look at you and you gave them a small smile.  Glancing at Ari, he was grinning at you before he finally decided to speak.
“Guys, this is Y/N. She came highly recommended from Ethan. Y/N, this is Rachel, Jake, Max and Sammy, my crew.  Everyone has a little bit of a different background as to how they all fit into this. Sammy is a field doctor, Jake is a diving instructor, Max is a sniper and Rachel is,” he paused, lowering his head and chuckling.  “Well Rachel, what is it exactly that you do?”
Rachel playfully punched Ari in the shoulder before turning to face you.  “Currently I’m a flight attendant, but I’m a communications transmitter and I’ll be communicating between the refugee trucks and the rescue boats.”
You nodded, impressed with the crew Ari had put together.  Looking back on land, you took in the resort once again.  From this angle, out at sea, the resort itself looked beautiful, but deserted.  There were many small white buildings lined up and down the beach.
“So what about you? What’s your story?” someone asked. Turning around, you noticed it was Sammy who asked you the question.
“Well, my parents are Jewish American and moved to Jerusalem to work for the American Embassy.  I was born and raised there my whole life and when I turned 18, I joined the Peace Corps, much to the dismay of Ethan as he wanted me to work for him and the Mossad.  After a few years in the Peace Corps, I took a break and did eventually work with Ethan. And then after another few years I went back to the Peace Corps and got out of that about a year ago.”
“And what specialties do you have that will help us here?” this time it was Max who spoke up.  His eyes were narrowed and he had a hard gaze on you, but you could tell deep down, he wasn’t anyone to be intimidated by. In fact, you had a feeling he was a major softie.
“I’m multilingual,” you answered easily.  There were nods of heads from everyone in the boat, except from Ari.  No, Ari had yet another large grin on his face.
“What languages do you speak?” Ari asked.
You snorted, shaking your head.  “You name it and I most likely know it.  I’ve been told I have a rather unique memory.  I graduated school when I was 14 and finished college by the time I was 18. I read something once, and for some reason, I have it memorized for life.  I learned about this gift when I was young and over the years, I taught myself as many languages as I could.  I didn’t really have too many friends when I was younger, so it was easy for me to just sit and read books all day long.”
Glancing at Ari, he seemed a bit saddened at your last sentence, his face dropping.  “Can you speak the languages from around here?” Ari asked again, although his face seemed saddened, you could tell his interest was in doubt piqued.
You nodded, lying against the back of the boat and letting your hand trail in the warm water.  “I can speak, read and write both Arabic and Amharic.”
“Damn, that’s really going to help out, especially with the Mukhabarat if they come snooping around here. But don’t let them know you can speak Arabic.  If they try speaking to one another in Arabic, we can use Y/N to translate what they are saying and it could end up saving our asses,” Ari said with determination, a grateful nod in your direction making your heart flutter.  You had no idea where these lustful feelings were coming from all of a sudden, but at the moment, you didn’t care.  Who knows how long you would be working here for? And it didn’t hurt that Ari was absolutely gorgeous to look at for your time here.
“Yeah, that helps out a lot actually.  None of us fully speak or can read the language.  We just know basic words and you can definitely help out in speaking with the staff too,” Rachel said.
“Do you have any questions Y/N?” Ari asked, looking at you with a smirk.
“Umm, yeah I actually have just one for the moment.  Why are we out here talking?  Is the resort bugged or something?”
All five of them let out hearty laughs; Ari shaking his head.  “No!  No of course not.  When we got here, we had no idea there was Sudanese staff that lived and worked here. It wasn’t something we were prepared for, so now we need to be extra careful so they don’t get any ideas of what is really going on here.”
“Makes sense,” you replied, feeling your face blush under the intense gaze of Ari.
“Alright, let’s get back to shore and find you a room!”
Making your way back to land, you took in the beautiful surroundings of where you would be living for the next foreseeable future.  Sure, you were in the desert, but the sand was warm beneath your toes, the landscape was astonishing and the sea; the sea was something you had never seen before. It was so clear and you only hoped that at one point that you could actually go diving.
Ari gave you a quick tour of the resort before stopping in the doorway to one of the rooms.  “Hmmm,” he said, carding his fingers through his trimmed beard.
“What is it?” you asked with mild concern.
“Umm, well it seems the only room available is in my building.  All the other buildings and rooms haven’t been put together yet, and the ones that are, are taken by the others.  My little hut has two bedrooms in it.  But if you would feel more comfortable, we could ask Rachel if she would be willing to share her room….”
You placed your hand up, silencing him as you smiled gracefully.  “It’s fine Ari.  If you don’t mind me in the room next to you, I have no problems with it.”
His arm came up and pulled you into his side.  “Alright then roomie.  I’ll leave you to get settled and I’ll meet you back in the dining room with the others for dinner.”
“Thanks Ari, for everything.”
“Hey, I should be the one thank you.  With your vast knowledge of languages, especially Arabic, I should be the one thanking you for coming here especially after you shot me down without even knowing what the mission entailed.”
You chuckled, moving your gaze to the ground as your feet shuffled.  “I’m sorry about that,” you whispered softly.
“Hey,” he spoke, but you wouldn’t meet his gaze.  He placed a finger under your chin, gently lifting your head so he could look you in the eyes.  “Ethan never told me any details of what you endured in the Peace Corps.  But I’m here if you need someone to talk to ok?”
Your vision grew blurry as you willed away your tears.  Ari tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear and you shivered at his touch; your body instantly craving more.
His soft eyes gazed from your eyes to your lips, making your heart skip a beat.  With a soft smile, he walked out the door and left you to unpack your suitcase, and left you utterly breathless.
Taking a seat on the bed, you bounced up and down and realized that the mattress itself wasn’t that bad; you’ve definitely slept on worse.  Opening the few drawers of your dresser, you quickly unpacked your belongings and went back to lay on the bed.
With your arms underneath your head, you stared up at the ceiling, hoping that everything would work out well with the mission.  Your mind danced with ideas and input, but you found it increasingly difficult to pay attention to your thoughts when all you could picture was Ari.  You didn’t know why, but there was something about him that you felt pulled to; drawn to.  Not only was handsome in every way possible, he had a good heart and wanted to do what was best.  You were always attracted to those who served to help those in need, and Ari was just that person.
With a sigh, you sat up and decided to get ready for dinner.  Now that you were in the safety of the resort, you pulled your long sleeved, loose see through shirt off; having a rusty orange tank top on underneath. It was warmer than you were used to, but you knew when night came, with the windows open, the breeze of the sea would cool off your body.
Slipping into your sandals, you made your way to the dining room and were greeted by Ari, Max, Jake, Sammy and Rachel.
Ari, using his foot, pushed a chair out from across from him for you to sit in.  With a smile, you sat down at the table, joining in on the ‘conversation’ of how to start getting the resort ready for guests as the Sudanese staff started placing delicious food around the table.

The Mission Chapter 11
Tumblr media
Pairings: Ari Levinson x Reader
Warnings:  swearing, angst?
Summary: Ari Levinson tries to recruit you for Operation Brothers.  While you weren’t ready for any kind of mission, you obliged after much consideration. You didn’t plan on falling in love along the way.  But will Ari return those feelings? Or will his heart only be on the mission?
Another few successful months at the resort and with the mission and everyone couldn’t have been any happier with how things were turning out.  It was now well into September of 1980, six fully successful missions under the crews belt.
After your fun little diving excursion with Ari, yet again, nothing had happened between the two of you and to be honest, it kind of hurt.  Ever since you were younger, you had always been a giving, caring and passionate person with a big heart.  And when it came to having feelings for people, or bonds, you couldn’t just stop them. It was one of your biggest flaws. But you pushed those feelings away and still had fun around the resort with Ari.  His personality was infectious and you found yourself always in a good mood around him; even if he was pissing off Sammy.  You trusted Ari and his decisions, even if they were risky because you knew his heart was in the right place; to save refugees.
Ari would sometimes come and sneak into your room in the middle of the night and you would wake up to him snuggling you; his arm secured tightly around your mid-section.  Other nights, when you couldn’t fall asleep, you would slink off into his room and do the same.  It was on those nights, where you would sleep in bed with Ari that you found the most restful night’s sleep.
The warm sun shone on your face as you stretched your limbs that morning.  Ari had snuck into bed with you, but as usual, he was already gone by the time you woke up.  With a sigh, you got up and went to the bathroom to relieve your full bladder. You splashed some cold water on your face, brushed your teeth and got dressed for the day.
As much as you wanted to wear you swimsuit with a tank top and sarong, you had other plans today. Instead, you put on a pair of long pants and a long sleeved shirt, covering your head in a scarf.  You had talked to Chef Aziz last night about making a few fresh loaves of bread for you this morning so you could take them into the nearby village for trade.  It was one of your favorite things to do; go into the village and trade fresh food for some gifts and knickknacks.
Over the course of the last few months, you had really gotten to know the locals in the village and they loved that you spoke their native tongue.  Naturally you didn’t tell them anything about you or the resort, and you used a completely different accent than your German one as well.  As much as you wanted to be truthful to them, you knew it could cause great risk.
Placing your sunglasses on your eyes, headed towards the main lobby where the crew was dining for breakfast.  “Hey guys, I’ll be back in a few hours,” you said, noticing both Sammy and Ari weren’t around.
Rushing into the kitchen, Chef Aziz greeted you with a smile as he produced three fresh loaves of bread for you.
“Thank you so much,” you gushed in his native tongue as you placed the bread into your canvas tote. Grabbing the keys to one of the trucks, you began to drive to the local village nearly a half hour away.
~~~
Ari was breathing deeply, the music blasting through the speakers of his Walkman as he ran down the beach.  He felt a nudge to his right and he turned to see Sammy now running next to him.
He took the headphone off his ears, nodding at Sammy.  “Hey man, what’s up?”
Sammy shrugged, yet had a smile on his face.  “Not much. I’ve just noticed how close you and Y/N have gotten since we’ve been here.”
Ari shook his head. “If you haven’t noticed, I’ve gotten pretty close to everyone since we’ve been here.”
“That’s not what I meant and you know it.”
“There’s nothing going on between us,” Ari denied.  He wasn’t lying because he was shameful of you or anything; it was nothing like that. It was the fact that he was the leader, the one in charge of this crew and he didn’t want the others to think his mind was on anything else but the mission.  Truth be told, he was truly starting to gain feelings for you.  He loved spending time with you, whether it was just eating lunch and dinner together, doing workout classes with the tourists together, or sleeping peacefully next to one another.  Based off your experience, he knew you weren’t someone like Rachel; someone who could defend themselves.  And while you haven’t really needed to use your skills all that much, he was genuinely impressed with how well you had handled things when the Colonel first came sniffing around.  You held it together and didn’t blow the cover; he couldn’t have asked much more than that.  He also saw the way you bonded with the staff of the resort, being able to speak Arabic with them had really helped.  He saw what a big heart you had and how dedicated you were to this mission.  But he needed to put forth his leadership, no matter how much it hurt him to sometimes step away from you.  He couldn’t deny it though, the few times you had kissed and had gotten a little frisky, were the best days of his time spent here; besides successful mission days of course.
“Hey, I’m not saying it’s a bad thing.  Hell, Rachel and I have grown a lot closer too, if you know what I mean.”
Ari chuckled, nodding his head.  “Yeah, I’ve noticed.”
The two men ran back to the resort together, heading towards the tables where the rest of the crew were sitting and eating breakfast.
“Ok, I got some intel late last night and I need to make an announcement,” Ari said, placing his hands on his hips.  “The Hadandawa have been invading a few of the local villages lately, taking girls and women for human trafficking and since we just finished our sixth successful operation a few days ago, I want everyone to stick around here at the resort. We’ve got plenty of food to go around. I just don’t want there to be any risk, especially with you Rachel, and Y/N.”  His eyes scanned the table, noticing two things.  One, you weren’t there at the moment, and two, the dropped faces of Rachel, Sammy, Jake and Sam.  “What’s the matter?  Where is Y/N by the way?”
“She mentioned the other day about going into the closest village to trade some bread for a few items. This morning she took a truck and said she would be back in a few hours,” Rachel spoke up, fear lacing her voice.
“Fuck!” Ari growled out, his jaw clenching.  “When did she leave?”
Rachel looked at her watch. “About a half hour ago.”
“Max, you’re with me. Everyone else stay here in case she comes back.”
Max dashed out of his chair, rushing to the truck with Ari.  Ari placed the key in the ignition, put it into drive and slammed on the gas. His heart hammered in his chest, fear encasing him at the thought of you being taken.  He just needed to get to you before anything could happen.
~~~
“Thank you!” you spoke in Arabic to Amina, one of the vendors as you gave her a loaf of bread. She handed over a stack of beautiful hand crafted beaded bracelets and you placed them gently in your canvas tote. You had known Amina for a while after you started coming to visit the village to trade food for items.  She always had the most beautiful jewelry and no matter what, she was always the first person you went to when you visited. In reality, she was a great friend to you.  The two of you always chatting for long periods of time each time you came here. She had a beautiful smile and you were instantly drawn to her wonderful personality.
The peace of the late morning had soon turned to dread as worry began to etch across the faces of the local villagers.  Turning to see what they were looking at.  Your heart dropped at the sight of the many trucks billowing down the dirt road, heading straight towards the village.  Your hands began to tremble, thinking it was the Mukhabarat; your body shaking at the thought of seeing Colonel Ahmed again after the last encounter you had with him.
But your thoughts were quickly shaken by someone grabbing your hand; it was Amina.  “Come quick, we must hide.  It’s the Hadandawa and if they find you, they will take you,” she spoke in her native tongue.
Your eyes began to water as you remembered Ari speaking about it with you and the crew the first night you arrived.  They were known for human trafficking; especially going after girls and women.
Amina quickly began to pull at your arm and you turned to face her, dashing off into the long grass; praying you would be able to hide good enough until they left.

The Mission Chapter 6
Tumblr media
Pairings: Ari Levinson x Reader
Warnings: swearing, fluff, sexual tension (I promise smut in future chapters! Don’t you worry!)
Summary: Ari Levinson tries to recruit you for Operation Brothers.  While you weren’t ready for any kind of mission, you obliged after much consideration. You didn’t plan on falling in love along the way.  But will Ari return those feelings? Or will his heart only be on the mission?
Over the course of the last two weeks, everyone worked tirelessly around the clock to get ready for the first mission to smuggle the Jewish refugees out of Sudan.  Ari made frequent trips to visit Kabede and check up on the refugees.  Wanting to go with him to meet Kabede, Ari refused; it was way too dangerous for you, because you were a woman.  As much as you protested, he wasn’t budging from his decision; but deep down you understood.  It was very risky for you and Rachel to be here.
The day of the first rescue mission, Ari and Jake were fixing up the trucks getting ready to go. You stood by Ari, handing him the tools he needed.  Once Jake got the CB radio working, he was connected with the Navy ship.
“They’re on,” Jake announced from inside one of the trucks.
“Good,” Ari responded, jumping off the side of his truck he was working on.  He looked down at his watch, checking the time.  “Leaving here in 12 minutes.”
You and Ari made your way back into the hotel where Rachel was standing in front of the staff.
“What did you tell them?” Ari asked coming up behind her.
“That we are diving scouting spots and wouldn’t be back until the morning.”
“Good.”  The three of you were about to get ready for the mission, but there was what sounded like a very big vehicle coming towards the resort.
Heading outside, you all saw the large bus pulling in from down the road.
Ari turned to Max. “Up on the roof.  Grab the spear gun.”  Max walked away, piling his sandwich into his mouth as you stood behind Ari.  From what you had gathered, the five of them have had some sort of combat training, but you didn’t.  You would be utterly screwed if any kind of fight broke out.
The bus stopped right in front of the entrance and a bigger man came out of the bus, holding a clipboard with papers.
“This was not an easy place to find.  You should think about getting some better signage,” he said with a chuckle, dusting the sweat off his face with the back of his hand.  “It’s so hot in there, but with the windows open, all the dust flies in.” He had a German accent and Rachel moved forward.
She was speaking German, but you understood each work precisely.  “I’m not sure what you are looking for but I’m pretty sure this isn’t it.”
“Isn’t this the Red Sea Diving Resort?” the man asked, looking up at the sign on the front of the resort.
“Well yes, but you see we are still under construction and won’t be open for a long time,” she replied.
“That’s not what the brochure said,” the man handed over a brightly colored brochure and Rachel glanced at it before handing it over to Ari.  Peaking over his shoulder, you could see why tourists would actually want to come here; the brochure really caught your eyes.
The German man waved everyone off the bus and you retreated back into the hotel and into the room behind the front desk, knowing Ari and the rest of them would be joining you quickly.
You paced around the small room, trying to come up with a plan.
“We have to check them in,” Ari stated as he marched into the room; everyone following behind him.
“No, I think we should send them in the direction of a real hotel,” Sammy pipped up.
“Look, they were sent here by Colonel Madibbo and if they tell him what’s going on, our whole cover story could be blown.”  Ari looked at his watch.  “Fuck, we’re already an hour late.”
You stood up from the chair you were sitting on, ready to finally step in and do some sort of help since you hadn’t been able to help much yet.  “Let me check them in,” you stated confidently.  Ari looked to you, his brows raised.  “Seriously.  You guys get in the trucks and go get the refugees.  And Rachel, you can head back to your room and get started on the communications aspect.  I’ll man the front desk and the staff and get everyone situated into their rooms. Tomorrow, when the first operation is successfully over, we will begin running a fully operated resort.”
A slow smile crept up on Ari’s face, making your heart skip a beat.  He took two long strides over to you and picked you up into his arms; his hugs were the best.  “You are amazing!” he beamed, placing a kiss to your forehead.
The four men headed out and Rachel went to her room to get her technology ready.  Taking a deep breath, you put forth a smile and walked out into the lobby; standing behind the desk.
“How many rooms will you need?” you asked with a smile, folding your hands in front of you on the desk.
It took almost an hour, but all of the tourists were booked into rooms and resting before dinner. You went around, thanking all the staff, in Arabic, for their quick efforts of getting rooms in order for the guests.  They told you they were just happy to have the resort open and running again as it gave them a job and something to do.  You remembered Ari telling you at one point that when he leased out the hotel, he gave Colonel Madibbo an extra $100,000 for the residents of Sudan, but he made sure to tell Ari that it wouldn’t go towards paying the staff. You made a mental note to ask Ari, since now there were actual paying tourists, to use some of that money to properly pay the staff at the hotel; they truly deserved it for all their hard work.
Watching over Chef Aziz, you praised his cooking skills.  As he served the guests dinner, you snuck off into Rachel’s room.
Knocking quietly on her door, you opened it before sneaking in quickly.  Her room was more homey than yours as she had placed some personal touches here and there.  There were photographs and small nicknacks placed around, which was something you wanted to do with your room now.  Maybe it would help you sleep a bit better at night.
“How’s everything going?” you asked quietly.
“I-I don’t know right now. Ari called for radio silence a few minutes ago and I haven’t heard anything yet from him.”
Your heart sunk, dropping to the pit of your stomach as you held onto the edge of the bed for support. No, this couldn’t be happening. The first operation couldn’t be a fail. As much as you loved your quiet life back home, Rachel, Jake, Max and Sammy, along with the staff were starting to really grow on you; let alone Aria.  The two of you had spent a lot of time together over the last two weeks preparing for the first operation.  And you couldn’t deny the fact that your feelings had grown for him too.
Rachel sunk to her knees, head in her hands as Base kept asking repeatedly if Yacht One would copy.  Your knees gave out on you as you sunk to the floor beside her.
“Yacht one to base, we copy,” Ari’s voice came over the radio and you blew out the breath you didn’t realizing you were holding.
You grabbed a hold of Rachel’s hand, squeezing gently as she gave you a comforting smile.  Now there was nothing to do but wait to hear back from them; to see if the operation was successful.
During the entire waiting period, you held onto Rachel’s hand.  Over the last two weeks, she became like a sister to you, which was soothing as you had always wanted a sibling.
“Base is on the way home, with the entire cargo.  See you in a few days,” a voice said over the radio and you had to control yourself from screaming in happiness.  Both you and Rachel shot up to your feet, hugging each other before jumping up and down with joy; hands in the air.
The two of you waited in the confines of Rachel’s room for the men to return back.  It didn’t take too muchlonger, as they were only a few miles down the coastline from where the resort was.
There was a knock on the door and Rachel went to open in.  Standing on the other side was Ari, Sammy, Max and Jake; all with bright smiles. Rachel hugged Ari first before he came into the room.  The minute his eyes landed on yours, you burst into tears of delight knowing the operation was a success.  He made the few strides with his long legs to reach you, pulling you into a tight embrace as you sobbed into his chest.
“174 people we saved tonight,” Ari whispered into your ear.
“That’s amazing Ari. I want to help save them all.  They don’t deserve the war and famine they are going through, nobody does.”
You couldn’t help but to place your right hand on his head, your fingers weaving through his locks and scratching at his scalp, earning a low growl from him which turned you on like nothing had ever before.
“Now we can really celebrate!” Jake roared, causing Ari to pull away from you, but his hands stayed on you, placed at your hips.
Looking up into Ari’s eyes, you smiled as his hand came up to wipe away your tears with his thumb.  “C’mon, let’s go get a drink and celebrate the success of the night.”
