Last year after the show finale the artist Enrique Corominas shared his cover remarking the details and half joking in the tags saying that D&D copied him and calling himself Nostradamus

This could be just a coincidence, after all GRRM has said that cover art is not his business.  Although he also said that the illustrators of his books have artistic license within certain limits...   
But, is this also a coincidence?
Back in 2011, in this Game of Thrones Season 1 promo called: Game of Thrones: "Iron Throne Preview" (HBO), we can also watch a crow perching on the Iron Throne and Jon Snow killing someone with his sword at the throne room
