Spirituality first addresses the emotional aspect of mind’s crisis. But gradually it goes deeper and enfolds the intelligence, whose wont is ever to seek enlightenment. Once the intelligence is illumined, the mind’s turmoil subsides.
This much-needed alliance between the mind and intelligence does not usually take place for all. Intelligence, if at all, comes to play much later. Till then, mind rules the scene; and conflict, distress and helplessness inevitably result, as in the case of Arjuna in Kurukshetra.

The goal of Spirituality is to make us master of the world by making us master of our own mind and intelligence.

The entire spiritual pursuit and perfection rest upon the fusion of the emotional mind with the rational intelligence. For a discriminating thinker, the whole subject of spiritual wisdom and attainment is thus a pursuit and achievement of the intelligence and mind. This subtle integration clinches the issue. Make no mistake about it.

Tattva-manana, truthful-introspection, is the only way to purify, sublimate and enrich the mind, to make it exclusively devoted to the Self and its realization.

My dear devotees, the whole day has to be divinized. The Gopikas were fondly thinking of Lord Krishna always. We are not. We are thinking of all other things. Every moment for us is full of anxiety, tension and fear. Our pursuit should be to make every moment, every thought, every word and every action divine.

Meditation is an essential part of spiritual seeking and sadhana. But that does not mark the finale of it. The seeker’s mind has to become purer and lighter every day. Only when the mind becomes sufficiently pure and sublime, Brāhmic vision and the resultant blessedness can be felt freely. Let the attention be more on gaining sublimity of the mind than on anything else.

Worldly interactions do not appear to be divine or sublime only because the seeker regards the world as different from God or the Supreme. As long as this difference prevails, conflicts will torment the seeker’s mind distancing him from the Supreme.
A true seeker must outlive this bheda-buddhi (differential notion) the mind inherently clings to, and install in its place the Knowledge of all-fold divinity. Then the world interactions will themselves bring the touch of divinity, instead of distancing the seeker from the Supreme. This is the secret of devotional wholesomeness.

The mind, remaining entangled in plural and divisive notions, cannot find its peace and poise. Once given to the exclusive contemplation of the Supreme as the only source and support of all the varieties, the mind starts rejoicing in this singular wholesome attitude and vision. This transformation does not alter the state of things anywhere outside. The world continues to be what it was. The interactions with it also proceed as earlier, but with one marked difference: None of the objects or interactions can now dislodge the mind from its poise, stability, lightness and expanse.

Whether we are sweeping, washing, cooking, sitting at the computer or working in the office – all the work we should associate with the Lord. How? We should think that today God has given me this work. I will do it with all perfection, with utmost attention and devotion, so that He is pleased with my performance.

The interactive session with Nutan Swamiji on the Global Gita channel yesterday was quite enriching! It's always refreshing to encounter well-articulated responses that resonate with young audiences. Nutan Swamiji's ability to provide insightful responses to the questions posed by the youth demonstrates a deep understanding of the subject matter. We encourage the viewers to like and share the content as widely as possible, as discussions like these are incredibly valuable for the new generation and can be catalysts for deepening the understanding and sparking further exploration of philosophical and spiritual concepts.

Detachment is the call of life at every point. Remember that everything you now have and will further gain is only to be left in the end. There is nothing one can take from here. All relationships, together with whatever acquisitions you strive for, are only to be left behind. Even the body by which and for whose sake every acquisition is sought, is to be discarded. Therefore, be detached now itself. With attachment, life becomes miserable. With detachment, it will be pleasant and fulfilling.

By worshipping God, by thinking about God, by preserving the devotional attitude, you must be able to assimilate everything. You must have a cheerful disposition, depth of vision, loftiness of thoughts, and an all-embracing attitude. If you are not able to generate these, your worship is defective and the purpose of your worship is not being fulfilled. Look into your mind and find out where lies the insufficiency in your devotion. Eliminate the defects and deficiencies.

The sole aim of devotional pursuit is to take the mind of the devotee to that supreme level where it will no longer depend on anything in the external world for its delight, stability and fulfillment.

To be a seeker is to be wholesomely identified with the spiritual Teacher – to be abiding by his words unquestioningly. In fact, all questions and doubts would rule the mind only until this implicit loyalty graces the seeker. The words and the actions of the Teacher are the ultimate confirmation and clarity for the disciple in spiritual seeking and enlightenment."
