Blanket Fort Day

((( I’m sorry, I know I still owe a few people replies - which I will try to get out a little later in the day - but... )))

Toothless is just going to re-construct its blanket fort today and hide and be comfortable. Anybody who needs to retreat as well is welcome to join it there.

GAAAHHHHH...

Okay; listened to ep 33, 'Cassette', right after I got settled in to work this morning (I tend to put WTNV eps on and listen to them via my earbuds while I work on stuff that requires less creativity than other projects or are... appropriate.  Reading and codifying autopsy reports and death certificates, for instance; don't ask.)

I did NOT get much work done.

I'd ask if anybody else freaked the fuck out too, but considering some of the comments I read, obviously they did.  The fact that Cecil actually listened to his own murder happening (or what sounded like it, that's for sure) rattled me but good.  WTF?

So, I tried to think logically afterwards.  And being that everyone and sundry seems to be posting their own theories, I'll post a list of possibilities.  

1.   The Cecil on the tape and the Cecil of present day are the same person. 2.   The Cecil on the tape and the Cecil of present day are NOT the same, with the following variations:       a.  Present-day Cecil killed and replaced the original.       b.  Past-Cecil was killed by another and Present-Cecil was put in his place       c.  Past Cecil was NOT killed and exists elsewhere 3.   Past-Cecil has/had a brother.       a.  The brother is Kevin, and is alive       b.  The brother is someone else and is alive       c.  The brother was Kevin, and died/was replaced       d.  The brother never existed but was a delusion

I'm not saying that any of these are right; they're just thoughts I jotted down after listening to the episode to clear my mind a bit.  I wish there could be an episode that wasn't an episode, but a conversation between Carlos and Cecil while they try to work this out; I suspect it'll be quite a while before we figure out what the hell is happening.

Chompchain is going to push aside a few bits of cloth, snuggling down next to the tiny predator.

Toothless blinks and looks up as something disturbs its small nest.

While mostly recovered from the allicon attack, the scraplet tires more easily than normal, and has some trouble maintaining its body temperature. Dune has pampered it through the process, making an extra-soft pad and bringing bits of cloth to help the small creature keep warm.

It has seen the new hatchlings from a distance; now one has decided to share it’s nest?

Toothless chirrs and draws one of the mini blankets up to better cover the baby sharkticon.
