Zephyr: Yeah, alright. I just love him, you know? He’s not just my brother, he’s my twin. We’ve shared everything. He’s always been my best friend. I wish I had known the people I was hanging out with were giving him trouble or else I would have never spent time with them. I don’t agree with anything nasty that people might say about him; I just wish I had known sooner that people were being so awful to him behind my back. I guess that’s my bad, though.

Pansy: I think you should tell him this.

Zephyr: I will, in time. Maybe I was so consumed with my own life that I didn’t notice he was struggling. I didn’t stop to think that perhaps he was hurting because the people I spent all my time with were downright terrible to him.

Heath: It’s a good thing I didn’t ask for your approval, Princess. Sure, people may like you, but do you like yourself? At the end of the day, I’m content with who I am, who I spend my time with, and how I spend my time. From what I know of you, I doubt you could say the same. All you do is hide behind your cheer squad and your stupid hoop earrings. The only reason people “like” you is because they’re scared of you. You make everyone’s life a living hell if they dare to say a word against you. You think you’re so perfect and untouchable, but all you are is mean!

Heath: It’s nonfiction, actually. If I intended to resort to escapsim, I’m sure I’d turn to fiction instead. Zephyr: I could’ve been a better brother to you and you know it, Heath. I could’ve reached out in a different way when I realized what I was trying wasn’t working. I saw you hurting but I never knew how to approach it so I just never did. That’s my fault. My head was in the clouds, to put it nicely. There’s lots I would do differently if I had the chance.
