My thoughts:

What a game! Both sides played well. What an impressive showing by Heidenheim. I won’t lie, it is a little upsetting we didn’t get the win. We created so many good chances, but unfortunately only 2 found the back of the net. On the bright side, Brandt seems to be returning to his form we saw in the second half of last season. Malen still looks like a threat, and Adeyemi seems to be picking up his slack. I know we are going to be clowned for dropping points to the newly promoted side, but there were good signs in that game. Once the boys figure out how to be more clinical in front of goal; they’ll be a handful for any teams defense. I hope Terzic can keep the boys mental, and their concentration in check. Better luck next time BVB 💛🖤🐝

The rumour mill continues to churn out uncreative rumours as Liverpool are once again linked with Mario Gotze. Klopp is said by the Mirror to be contemplating a 20m pound move despite the German only returning to Dortmund this season and lacking in both form and confidence. Gotze has featured 15 times for Dortmund this season, scoring just 2 goals as his bid to reignite his stagnating career has taken another hit. I’d personally be very surprised to see this come to anything.
