The Way Of Warrior (1983)The still single best documentary series on the martial arts.Here is part two 'Shorinji Kempo : The New Way.'
And yes, those are swastika (manji) symbols on their tops etc. But these are from the original Hindu/Buddhist source, an ancient symbol meaning the 'myriad' 'all and everything'.
Which was subverted by fascists.
Shorinji Kempo emphasize the the intimate link that existed in the past between Buddhism and the martial arts. In my opinion this matches our medieval, all encompassing link between the Church and the Knights and aristocracy.
