Hi it's the Slate anon again um. I love your posts on botw modern AUs just imagining all the antics they would get into. You know they would all have a group chat together, Urbosa writes with proper punctuation and everything, every one of Zelda's messages is programmed to sign with "Her Royal Highness Zelda Bosphoramus Hyrule CCLXXVII" and Daruk writes every single thing in all caps. Link as quiet as he is means every time they see "Link is typing..." it's a national event (and it ends up being "ok" or "🫡")

Daruk would have a long distance game night every week for a "bonding session" but an hour each time is spent in him figuring out how to turn on the camera for the video call. Mipha invites Zelda, Revali and link to her animal crossing island and Zelda does nothing but fill the museum with animals while revali spends an embarrassing amount of time decorating the island. A Mario kart session nearly led to the murder of multiple champions

Friends

The only way Charles will ever start liking someone enough to hang out around them is if they pester him enough

He knows that his personality is enough to drive anyone away after three minutes, so someone who sticks around is special

He’d never admit that he sees Lord as a friend, he says they’re annoying. Lord isn’t an idiot though so it’s all okay

Charles would not initiate meetings to hang out. Telling Lord that he wants to be around them would do something to his pride.

So he invites Lord under the guise that he wants to discuss important political matters, then he steers the conversation away.

Charles is good at picking up small details, so he’s one of the first ones to notice if something is wrong with Lord. Once they had a slight fever, and he took one look at them and went “You look terrible damn, it hurts my eyes to look you, go take some Advil or something.”

Being friends with Lord helped him accept and enjoy childish things even if he never admits it

Lord has forced took him to children’s parades. He acts like he doesn’t want to go but he still goes. Lord being a sadistic lil crap they are once gave in to his resists. They were like, “okay, let’s not go then”

Charles was on the verge of a mental breakdown he never expected someone to not oppose him when he’s being a handful

It lasted two seconds before Lord let out a laugh over his astonished face

He has never forgiven them for that and is out for vengeance.

Charles does those small but effective pranks. Like he knew that one of Lord’s habits is to taste tea given to them with a spoon before drinking it, so he once replaced the spoon with a pen.

When Lord absent-mindedly brought the pen to their face and realized what it was, Charles lost it. 

He takes prank wars really seriously. Prank wars are like a kind of cold war between Rhodon and Avillon except the civilians aren’t affected.

When Lord falls for one of Charles’s tricks, he never lets them live it down

All in all, their friendship is the type that doesn’t go two minutes without an argument.

I’m pretty sure that Charles would confess first from the duo, but I think he’d do it through a letter after Zaira convinced him to

Their first few dates started off a bit awkward, but as their meetings went on, they went back to their normal banter.

Hiding the relationship from the public was one of the obstacles the two had to face. Imagine the political turmoil if the news went out.

This relationship is based more on quality time. It’s like their friendship, except they can be more open with each other.

Face-to-face, Charles isn’t romantic, but he’s different in his letters. He’s way more upfront and flirty. It’s like he has an alternate personality.

He doesn’t want Lord thinking that he doesn’t love them, but he can never bring himself to expressing how much he does. So he gives them a lot of gifts to silently tell them how much he cares for them.

Which Lord told him to tone down, because, they explained, that it’s completely okay to not be expressive and he shouldn’t give gifts out of guilt. He still give a lot of gifts, it makes him happy.

This man is touch starved but he’ll never initiate cuddling, and his first reaction to hugs/cuddles is to push the person away, so Lord will have to be subtle about it.

If Lord puts their head on his shoulder or plays with his hair, he’d melt on the spot. 

Kisses will come a lot later in the relationship. But when they do, the easiest way to make him flustered is with a kiss.

In fact, once he’s comfortable with the relationship, Lord will find it way more easier to make him flustered. Simple romantic words and actions can make him a stuttering pink mess.

Romantic relationships are a new thing to him, so it would take him a long time to get comfortable with normal couple-y things.

Their relationship is like a soft but chaotic one. They argue about the smallest things and tease each other, but do their best to make the other person happy and comfortable.

What a whole tsundere and a half, I love him. Tysm for requesting, I hope you like these!

Alma/Jowd/Cabanela are the OT3 of my heart but I’m perfectly happy with gen fic for them too with bestest friend Cabanela to Alma/Jowd. I’m also happy to see something focused on only one of them here or two of them--I only ask that if there’s a ship situation between 2/3 here it’s a situation with no infidelity please. 

I’m a big fan of hurt/comfort and the more tenderness on the comfort end the better. However you can’t go wrong with pure fluff either.

That said I’m also a sucker for those five years of Jowd jail time and Cabanela’s 5 year solo mission or interactions with Pigeon Man (who is more than welcome; I love him too) during that final year, so anything exploring that is always welcome as is anything post Ch.9 which I can never get enough of.

On the OT3 front I’m always down for that initial get-together, but I’d also love to see the early days and basking in the feelings of ‘oh, this is happening’ and a very sparkly, very in-love Cabanela. Already well-established is also great. What do they do for fun? What’s a vacation look like? How does Jowd tease Cabanela mercilessly? How does Alma come out on top of the teasing game period?

Tio’s love of Mishy is adorable. Elie needs more chances to shine--she’s skilled and knowledgeable and so well-connected; put it all to use! Lloyd is Dad and I love him dearly. We see plenty of Lloyd and Rixia but how about Rixia and anyone else here? Sergei and Dudley interactions are great and have the history. How about some time working together? How about some time off the job?

Jade and Rab are perfect for family feels. Exploring more of their time pre-game is cool. It’s a very different life from what either were used to. How do they adapt and grow together? Any moment in-game is great too. Or post-game helping each other out in Heliodor and rebuilding Dundrasil. Grandpa Rab and adopted granddaughter Jade just makes me happy.

Jade and Hendrik once knew each other. Hendrik’s a knight of her family. How do they reconnect? How does Hendrik adapt to Jade no longer being the little princess he once knew? How do they get along after the world is saved?

Rab and Hendrik have points of connection through both Carnelian and the fall of Dundrasil. Hendrik has also lost his homeland with the fall of Zwaardsrust. I’d like to see interactions between these two explored more.
