Mention Paper, History, or Magic and Caleb Appears
I wanted to capture all of the times that Caleb has appeared up to this point in the campaign. Had to leave out a second one from episode 34 due to image limits.

GOD i love bells hells so much they’re such a dysfunctional group who both love and fear each other. They all genuinely want to help and be a shoulder to lean on but at the same time unable to actually properly resolve any personal problems. It’s like all of them are giving each other a can of gas and a lighter and saying “i love you and if you want to burn the whole world, know that i’ll be right beside you” which is sweet and so, so loyal but does NOTHING to actually work out their traumas and problems
they do interventions, group therapies, mind-melding and letting the two psychics prod into their brains to recall lost memories but they could take and take and take but have NO idea what to do with this information. The answer is always “we need to talk to x” bc try as they might they can’t fix one another but fucking hell if that’ll stop them from telling each other that they have every right to be mad at the world and just unleash hell on everyone and it’s SO good

Fresh Cut Grass saying "You were never alive" just before they went unconscious while Laudna rage-gripped their head wasn't an insult directed towards Laudna.
It was an insult FCG would have heard before. When Aeor was a thriving city and Aeormatons were fighting for the right to be recognized as citizens, as people. It was probably something FCG heard when they were originally built, whole, made with parts designated for their chassis. Brought to life with an intelligence and soul and a purpose to serve the citizens of Aeor.
FCG was experiencing a trauma so old they still believe it. FCG continuously refuses to believe that they have a soul. That they are not 'really alive.'
And in that malfunctioned state, as they reflected the insecurities and pain they had previously absorbed back at the people they considered friends, FCG reflected the deepest trauma they themself still hurt from. That people treat them as an object, not a person.
