Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon Welcome Reception 2018

As an individual who lives in L.A. county, I treated this race weekend as a one of a kind racecation. I love wine, and as a former Culinarian, I love to dine in. If you are racing this event, I know it is already expensive to pay for the entry and your accommodation, and another $65.00 to pay for a “welcome reception” will add up. But if you are a wine lover and very social, hey.. I would say $65.00 is very cheap to go home with this unique experience before the race. The wines served have the sexiest legs and they come with their particular pairs. You will also go home with the signature Napa to Sonoma Crystal Wine glass ($35.00 if you will buy it separate). Mix and mingle with Destination Races’ Race Director, Matt Dockstader, and fellow runners including Elite Runners and other VIPs during this festive evening!

The Napa to Sonoma is a spectacular evening to kick off race weekend held last Friday, July 13,2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Cuvaison Caneros Winery in Duhig Rd, Napa. The guests enjoyed a modest culinary offerings including variety of wines from the Cuvaison Winery. The wines served are the best of its class. All smooth and refreshing paired with meticulously chosen Hors d’oeuvres.

2017 Rose of Pinot Noir.

2016 Estate Chardonnay, paired with Ahi Tuna with Mango, Cucumber Pearls and Wild Rice on a crispy Won Ton Chip and Warm Apricots served with Honey-Orange Sheep’s Ricotta and topped with toasted Coconut and .Almonds

2015 Pinot Noir, Mariafeld paired with Warm Black Mission Figs stuffed with Shaft’s Blue Cheese and Smoked Applewood Bacon served with a Balsamic-Honey Syrup.

2015 Zinfandel, Bald Mountain, paired with Hoisin Ginger and Thai Chile Marinated Beef Skewers with Sesame Seeds and Coriander and Mini Chocolate tortes with Organic Strawberries and Crème Chantilly
