Ahri's power is immense, but one of her well-known abilities is that of illusion.

It's not uncommon for Ahri to create an illusion around herself to avoid the looks of strangers. Ahri is a mythical figure in history and sometimes it's easier to avoid the eyes of people who might want to hunt, hurt, or even worship and adore her. This is a more casual use of her ability, sometimes she'll charm those around her to just see a young woman with black hair, completely human, or sometimes she might take on the shape of an Inari Vastaya with only one tail.

The myths of the nine-tail fox are known throughout all of Runeterra; both out of fear and worship. The monsters, the man-eaters, the soul trapper. She is feared and respected and loved in many different ways so her charms allow her to walk among people without them having any clue of who she is.

She can always cause illusions to lure in her prey. These illusions can dig into her prey's deepest desires but it's not uncommon for Ahri to latch onto their fears as well. Depending on her mood, she can drive fear into a man's heart before feeding on them, or she can even give a merciful death where they do not realize what is happening until she gives the final snap of death. These illusions are completely real to the victim. they can touch, taste, smell, see, and hear everything; as if they have been transported to an entirely new world.

Another ability that matches this is that Ahri can change her scent. Her primary scent if not altered is the smell of fox; naturally. However, there are undertones of rosewood (a warm woody cedar mix with spicy floral accents) along with cherry blossom (light sweet air mixed with floral sensual notes). Her ability though, is that she can allow her scent to change and shift to lure in those around her. Her scent is based on what someone might find alluring, attractive, and desirable. To some, she might smell like a fresh pine forest, and to another a citrus tang. The scents that people smell offer to lull them into a sense of safety and comfort. This kind of ability is used on prey, but also around people, in general, to try and quietly comfort them to talk with her easier.

So, I gave this situation a lot of thought and given that it is the end of the year, that marks the ideal time frame to basically reshape the way, I wanna handle the blog and my muses, going forward. These changes include how my roster functions, certain limitations I am going to give myself, concerning the amount of drafts I have, and changes in verses and some alterations on the ask box. Basically, quality instead of quantity is going to be the name of the game, so hopefully, I can better organise my hobbies and interests and hopefully also my eventual career as an author.

That means first of all: Every single thread I have is dropped. I want a completely clean slate thread-wise, however, dynamics, which we established, can absolutely carry over. I am not gonna flush all the hard work, I did with so many of you (you are all amazing) down the drain.

Now, onto what changes. Let's start with the formal bullshit. I am going to limit myself to twenty drafts and try to adhere to this limit. Those drafts will preferably be plotted. That way, I hopefully can avoid getting overwhelmed, but also really dig into the meat of our threads.

That does not mean casual stuff or crack does not happen. It can still happen, but it will occur with less frequency and those things likely won't carry over much. If I happen to send you an rp related meme, then please just have fun with the drabble. I will try to limit how much I continue those threads.

When it comes to my ask box, I will prioritise unprompted asks and scenarios over rp memes. However, I will always accept headcanon-related memes or memes for me the writer. Again, all these changes will be done to limit the effects of being overwhelmed and to keep my rps at a manageable medium.

When it comes to my verses, I am going to do a massive cut in what types of verses I have. Specifically, I am going to stick to the verses, which basically form a narrative throughline. For most verses, this will basically be the pre-canon, the default and the post-canon verse. Ergo the past, present and future of a muse. This is done so I can focus on what I wanna explore instead of spreading myself too thin. After all, it is better to explore an idea and its ramifications in detail as opposed to expanding and adding five half-baked ideas at once.

My muse roster will have a bit of an update on its purpose. Because of the fact that I will lean even more into the concept of storytelling and character development, the split between primary, secondary and tertiary muses still exists. Except, there is going to be a crucial change now. The tertiary muses will now be rebranded as supports and are not technically muses on the blog. Let me explain what I mean.

Because of my desire to be more story-driven, certain characters will serve as the supporting cast for other muses. These characters help propel the plot forward but also give your muse a different perspective on the muse they roleplay with. They might also reveal information, you would not get otherwise. Think of them a bit like NPCs but due to the big role, they play in the muse's life or what they represent for the muse, they have a bigger chance of emerging. Your muses might even meet them before they meet the actual muse. There will also be other classical NPCs, which your muse might meet under very specific circumstances.

Now onto the actual muse roster:

My primary muses (who will be focussed on the whole Zaunite lore and story) are going to be Silco, Jinx and Vi. They are the ones, whose plotting will come the most naturally and easiest for me. Their supports are Sevika and Warwick/Vander.

My secondary muses (who have different thematic stories and lore as they occur outside of Zaun/Piltover) will be Naafiri and Ahri. Writing them might potentially require a bit more plotting and forethought. Naafiri's supporting characters will be Nasus and Rek'Sai. Ahri's supporting characters will be Yasuo, Evelynn and to a lesser extent Vayne.

I hope that these changes I am making will lessen some self-made stressors. Again, I do apologise for basically dropping everything right now. I promise, I still want to write with everybody here. I just need to sort out how I wanna make things work. So please, everybody do not be intimidated by those changes. I promise, that my enthusiasm for writing and roleplaying remains unbroken.

Let's start with her hair- Seraphine has a TON of it and I'm like a kid in a candy store whenever I draw her. There are a lot of hair styles I still want to draw her with but I love giving her ponytails. I can speak from experience that with all that hair she refrains from styling it often, but does like hair decor like ribbons, scarves and headbands to keep it out of her face

Fashion wise I noticed she's both casual but she clashes color and patterns a bit and likes to stand out (also I go heavy off these official notes from riot)

I definitely think she thrifts a lot and does make a lot of her own clothes/upcycles older stuff instead of buying from chain companies and whatever is on trend. I also noticed she wears /off/white, cremes, pinks, yellow and soft blues kinda like Ahri

She does experiment and seemingly doesn't mind being dressed up (seen here from official art with Evelynn)

Another thing I noticed she has in common with Ahri is that she likes to show skin and at the same time likes to layer her clothes like Akali. Accessories are noticed to be a must too. Especially wearing a few necklaces and rings (that's very gay of you Sera)) I also think she makes most of her own jewelry too)

Something I think more people should notice about her is that she has a natural aura of an artist and it shows in her character very well. Seraphine stands out in a way a lot of artists do. We dress and present ourselves differently whether we see it ourselves or not. Just something to think on

Not for the first time did Ahri resist the urge to pull out the compact tucked into the tiny purse she brought to match her gown to check if she looked all right. All those years she covered the Summer Gala, this was the first she was actually attending not as covering press but as a guest. Not to mention with a date.

Said date was looking dashing and extra handsome tonight that Ahri was pretty sure she had made a fool of herself oggling him a bit as they walked alongside each other and mingled.

"I'll be back," She murmured to Ayden now, finally succumbing to the urge to check on her appearance. She had chosen the gown to be comfortable, but she wanted to be able to stand next to her date and looked like she belonged there. Thankfully Arwyn had come through and her gown was designed perfectly. It was not as ostentatious or loud as Hel's, who looked like a conquering queen with the gold and black (and matching tiara) and so Ahri felt quite pretty. At least enough that she was sure people weren't giving her the stink eye.

The gown looked flawless, Ahri had to admit as she tucked a stray lock of hair and looked at her reflection in the bathroom. Maybe it was just nerves? Save for a few casual dates, this was the most grown up date she had gone with with Ayden, so she hoped he was having a good time. It reminded her of the time she would second guess herself around a person because he had intimidated her. Never mind they had both been fifteen and hardly knew things anyways.

As if she had summoned him, Ahri stopped as she reentered the ballroom and stood a bit perplexed as the dancers parted and revealed a familiar face--although was he always that tall? It took a few beats, but she was able to cross the room and see that he wasn't a figment of her imagination but actually here in the flesh.

"Hey," She flashed what she hoped was a welcoming smile. Thank god again for Arwyn for dressing her tonight, at least she looked decent enough and not at all the bespectacled, braced teen she was last time they saw each other. "You're back."

¡Hola, Guardianas! al habla una de las admins de Centuries (por lo que es un mensaje a nivel personal y por eso lo pongo en anon), estaba leyendo los anónimos que tenéis y me gustaría aclarar que es normal que haya muchos foros de una misma temática y más cuando esta no es original, es absurdo que nos sintamos amenazados cuando Centuries abrió habiendo ya tropecientos foros de Harry Potter, y me preocupa que las administraciones de los foros mencionados sientan que les vemos como una amenaza. Así que hablo en nombre del staff, diciendo que queremos desearle lo mejor a los nuevos foros de primera generación tanto si abrieron ya, como si no. Nuestro comienzo también fue muy complicado, precisamente por comentarios que se hicieron en anónimo antes siquiera de que abriésemos, pero quiero decirles que con cariño y ganas se sale adelante. Y, bueno, que si por algún casual han podido sentirse ofendidos/ dolidos o tienen dudas sobre algún comentario que crean que puede venir del staff, nos pueden hablar directamente ¡Nuestras puertas siempre estarán abiertas!

Por otro lado, lamentamos enormemente leer lo del grupismo. Desde dentro muchas veces no se percibe igual y uno no se da cuenta. También es difícil tener los ojos puestos en todas partes. Ves que se cogen las búsquedas y los pide rol y roles libres y más o menos ves que todo el mundo postea y estás tranquilo. Somos ya unos cuantos personajes, si no hay quejas es difícil verlo, no intento quitarnos la culpa para nada. Siento mucho que alguien haya podido sentirse excluído.

De todos modos, adelantamos que tenemos pensadas distintas actividades que fomenten un roleo más heterogéneo, aunque estas no las llevaremos a cabo hasta que no hayan pasado los grupales de trama.

Aprovecho la chapa para invitar a todos los usuarios, tanto nuestros como de otros foros, a que ante la sensación de grupismo hagan el intento activo de coger búsquedas y mandar mps (esto desde la creencia personal de que por lo menos en Centuries nadie nunca ha negado roles a otra persona y lamento si me equivoco) y que, en caso de que esto no funcione, lo comuniquen al staff antes de dar por perdido el foro. Muchas veces son malentendidos los que llevan a tener una mala imagen del sitio en el que se está roleando y es una faena porque al final los foros se hacen con todo el cariño del mundo para disfrute de los usuarios.

Por último, quiero añadir que por nuestra parte hemos abierto un sondeo anónimo para que los actuales usuarios del foro nos expliquen las problemáticas que ven en Centuries. Por el momento, andamos viendo cómo implementar los cambios en relación a lo que nos han referido que no les cuaja.

Pero sí que es verdad que ninguno de los usuarios que ha realizado el sondeo ha mencionado nada sobre posible grupismo así que nos ha sorprendido verlo en un anon de tumblr. Personalmente, soy de la opinión de que si te llama un foro, lo suyo es entrar y formarte tu propia opinión porque puede ser distinta a la de otra persona, pero cada cuál decide sus criterios. Lo importante aquí es que no tenemos ningún problema en dejar el enlace al sondeo en nuestro tumblr y si alguna persona que haya estado quiere explicarnos por qué se fue a través del mismo e incluso proponer soluciones, estaremos encantados de leerlo y de hacer por mejorar. ¡Un abrazo!
