Rubí Paola Belladonna: [29] Ultimate Hunter in the Bloodborne universe. She is the killer of beasts and men. She accidentally cursed herself after ingesting several Great Ones' blood, and became a massive swan like monster, with the legs and tail of a wyvern, pure white feathers and wings, and a long neck that bears her large human head, for three days. She is Italian and has curly blood-cherry red hair, pale Ivory skin, emerald eyes, a mole on the top right corner of her mouth, and a beautiful face and body. She uses a hunter's axe that can become a halberd, and a hunter's gun. She uses the clinic in the beginning of the game as a base to experiment on mad villagers to find the cure for the disease within the game. Her secret power is the ability to bloodbend, using her curse as a funnel to channel her energy to bend her enemies' blood. She uses the Yharnam Hunter's outfit that is dyed a dark red and is made out of expensive leather. [Straight] (Bloodborne)
Tumblr media
"La Melagrana" Dente di Leone: [25] Rubí Belladonna's cousin. She is training to become an a hunter, but accidentally became cursed in the process, becoming a owl-like monster in the process (much like Rubí's swan-like form). Half-french, half-italian. Titanium-blonde and long, layered hair, fair skin and crimson red to gold eyes (used to be emerald green before the curse). Turns into a large owl-human abomination with white, black, brown and tan colored feathers. Uses a hunter's silver sword that can be elongated to become a greatsword, and uses a hunter's golden engraved hunting rifle. She uses the Yharnam Hunter's outfit that is made out of silver cloth with gold trim. Unlike her cousin, her curse gave her the ability to metalbend. She carries around Vitals of mercury. [Bisexual/prefers men] (Bloodborne/The Last Faith)
Tumblr media
Meditrina, the Beastly Hunter: [28] Surrogate daughter of Mergo's Wet Nurse, Meditrina is a hunter who uses her talent of communicating with the Great Ones to help others understand them. She has wild black hair that goes past her shoulders, pale skin, and deep blue eyes. She uses the Burial blade, and has a pet man-eater boar. Due to her eldritch blood, Meditrina can change into a raven-bat-vulture abomination with power that can rival her mother's. She wears the Old Hunter set, never putting down the mask to hide a deep scar that goes over the left side of her cheek and lips. [Bisexual] (Bloodborne/The Old Hunters DLC)
Tumblr media
Margo, Pthumerian prince: [30] Secondborn of Queen Yharnam, the Pthumerian Queen. He is a tall, athletic man with curly black hair, white skin and blood red eyes unlike his mother's. He uses a chikage made out of moonstone and silver, and is in love with vicar Amelia. Due to his eldritch blood from his father, Oedon, he can change into a holy lion-dove-goat-white snake chimera (head and frontal limbs of a lion, wings of a dove, rear legs of a goat with the head on the back, and a white serpent for a tail) that inflicts burning damage to all infected, literally burning the disease away. Margo wears a white with gold trim variation of the Knight set, using a silver monocle on his left eye. [Straight] (Bloodborne/The Old Hunters DLC)

Ten Characters Tag
Ava: I was tagged by the lovely @hoshizorei for this. Thank you very much, I look forward to filling this list out. ^^
Rules: make a new post, name 10 of your favorite characters from 10 different fandoms that you like, and then tag 10 people.
                                 ┕━━━━━━━♔━━━━━━━┙
1. Reiji Sakamaki - Diabolik Lovers
Tumblr media
Funnily enough, Reiji was my least favourite when I first entered the fandom. Now, he will always be my first choice, hence by he is the top of my list. Everything about him is perfect, he is such a gentleman. I don’t wish to fangirl too much on a little tag-game, but I adore him.
2. Kaname Kuran - Vampire Knight
Tumblr media
Vampire Knight was one of the first anime series I ever watched when I think back upon it, and I think it is fair to say Kaname was my first ever anime interest. I mean, can you blame me, though?
3. Sebastian Michaelis - Kuroshitsuji
Tumblr media
Look, I was going to put Claude Faustus instead, but Sebastian was really one of the first men I fell for (which I expect was the case for many). Almost everything about him, admittedly, enough to make me weak.
4. Sousuke Yamazaki - Free!
Tumblr media
Sousuke is just-- *chef kiss* Absolutely gorgeous. He was never really an interest of mine until I rewatched Free! (for the plot of course) and managed to take my eyes off of Haru. I’ve never looked back.
5. Jumin Han - Mystic Messenger
Tumblr media
Ah, yet another handsome, tall, dark-haired man that captured my heart. I feel like there is a running theme here. His route was the first real one that gave me all kinds of feelings in Mystic Messenger. ^^
6. Chikage Kazama - Hakuouki
Tumblr media
This one was tough. I REALLY wanted to put Toshizo Hijikata and Soji Okita here too, but the rules are only one, ugh. Look, when coming into the Hakuouki fandom, Chikage was the first to catch my eye and, still, something about him has forever kept me drawn to him.
7. Levi Ackermann - Shingeki no Kyojin
Tumblr media
Okay. Look. You can’t call me out for this one. Everyone has fallen hard for Levi at some point if they’ve watched Shingeki no Kyojin. I haven’t followed the fandom for a year or so, though, admittedly.
8. Aki Myojin - Amai Choubatsu: Watashi wa Kanshu Senyou Pet
Tumblr media
NSFW and TW warning for anyone that wishes to watch this anime. The series, and that man, left me weak. It’s a complete mess, but he is too devilish to resist. Another favourite of mine from the series is Higa Yamato.
9. Yato - Noragami
Tumblr media
I didn’t put Yato on the list for the same reason as most of the others, but because he an absolutely wonderful character. I really enjoy the Noragami series, and Yato, as well as Yukine, made the series really entertaining. I really recommend this anime to anyone who hasn’t seen it. ^^
10. Haruhi Fujioka - Ouran High School Host Club
Tumblr media
Definitely one of the first anime’s, alongside Vampire Knight, that I ever watched. Many fan favourites involve the boys, but mine is Haruhi simply because of her situations she finds herself in and how her character develops throughout this anime (which is wonderful by the way)!
                                 ┕━━━━━━━♔━━━━━━━┙
Ava: I must tag ten people? I don’t wish to disturb many, but I have one in mind: @reijisama . Anyone that wasn’t tagged is still free to do this! ^^

Chapter 1:
“Sorry, I’m not interested. It’s clear to me you have plenty of loyal bitches already.”, the girl scoffed at the tall man trying to “pick her up”, “Besides you’re not my type at all.”. “Aw c’mon. Don’t be a tsundere~”, the man Chikage Rokujou said with a wink. “Yeah no, sorry. I have more important things to do than sit around with some womanizing scum.”, the girl shot back, “And also, let me know if any of these girls aren’t in high school.”.  She began to walk away, heading to her job’s location, a maid cafe in Ikebukuro.  She thought about how much men sucked, all the way from her father, to her “fiance”, to the random men on the streets. Her only safe haven was the maid cafe’s owner, an old woman who’d started it for fun, Amai Fukiro. All the girls called her “Grandma”, though. She was wise, kind, and well old. A perfect grandmother figure. The other girls, however, were jerks. As Hanako opened the door, she heard the bell ding, and the cheery call of her co-worker, a fellow high schooler, Sakura, “Afternoon, Hanako-San!”. “Please drop the ‘san’. I’m only a year older than you.”, Hanako replied, cringing. She was a third year at Raira Academy, being eighteen years old, and the younger girl always called her “Hanako-San”, which only added to Hanako’s stress about what would be happening when she graduated. A domestic life was the scariest thing about her future. She walked to the employee locker room, and changed into the maid costume, and walked back to Sakura. “We go on in three minutes, once the other guy’s shifts end.”, Sakura reminded. Hanako nodded, “You ready?”. Sakura nodded happily. Hanako cracked a small smile, “You’re adorable, y’know?”. Sakura’s cheeks tinted light pink, and she shook her head. Hanako returned her attention to the door that led into the main part of the cafe. Sudden;y, Sakura piped up with a question that startled Hanako. “A-are you… in the Dollars?”, she asked nervously. “That gang?”, Hanako asked, confused. “Yeah… just wondering.”. “I’m not.”. “Ah ok.”. “Why?”. “I just thought that y’know, someone as cool as you would be in something cool like the Dollars.”. Hanako laughed, “I’m not cool, and neither are the Dollars. Gangs aren’t cool. They may seem like it, but they really aren’t.”. “I know but still… being without rules or guidelines, or even a leader? They seem so… well, cool!”, Sakura gushed, and turned her face to Hanako.  “Rules and guidelines keep the world functioning, leaders guide people away from mistakes in principle.”, Hanako replied, though she didn’t mean it. She hated all the rules she had to follow.  “I know but still… chaos is kinda fun!”, Sakura giggled. “Chaos is not ‘kinda fun’. I can’t tell you what to or to not do but please, think about the effects before you take any leaps of faith and dive into anything remotely illegal. It ruins lives, you know.”, Hanako said, grabbing the girl’s hands and looking into her eyes, “You don’t want to wind up in jail, pregnant, or with a criminal record.”. “Pregnant? What part of the Dollars makes you think I’ll get knocked up?!!”, Sakura exclaimed. “Nothing… just something I saw earlier. My bad.”. Sakura blushed and looked down. Hanako released the girl’s pale wrists, “Anyways, please don’t do anything illegal.”. “I didn’t ever say I was going to join the Dollars, Hanako-San.”. “I can see in your eyes you’re thinking about it.”. “I forgot you can read me like an open book.”, Sakura giggled, “And I’m still thinking about it, nothing’s set in stone.”. Hanako nodded, and bit her lip. How much she wished she could be in the Dollars, free. She wanted to be like the Headless Rider, a free spirit that did what was good. She also wanted to bike like it did. She’d seen it once, for a moment, and her vision and dreams were captured, whether or not they could come true. Three girls came rushing in, and sighed, “Your turn. Good luck, it’s a riot out there. There’s a group of four with endless stomachs and two otakus. Some sort of party.”. “Thank you Rio, we’ll do our best.”, Sakura replied with a smile. “Yeah, yeah.”, Rio said, “Now get out there.”. Sakura and Hanako rushed out, and were greeted with various regulars, and a group of four people, in their late teens and early twenties, who sat by the window chatting away.  “I can handle them if you can get the frequents.”, Hanako whispered, and Sakura nodded, looking relieved. Sakura was good with people older than her, not so much people her age. Hanako walked over with a smile painted onto her face, and asked sweetly, “Hello!~ My name is Hanako, and I’ll be your server today! What can I get you to drink?”. “I’ll have some of the cat coffee!”, a girl in a long black dress said, her hair covered for the most part by a black hat. “Alright!”. “I’ll have water.”, a level headed guy said, his slicked back black hair was under a black do-rag. “Mhm!~”. “I’ll have the green tea.”, a man with shoulder length brown hair said. Hanako nodded, and turned to the final customer, a boy with light brown hair. “I can’t pick between the sakura blossom tea, or the cat coffee…”, he said, “What would you get?”. “Well it depends. If I’m sleepy, sad, or angry, I’d get the cat coffee. I’d pick the sakura blossom tea if I was calm or relaxed.”, Hanako said, “The cat coffee is more chocolatey, and the Sakura Tea has a distinct tea-like taste.”.  “Hmmm….”, the boy said, “I think I’ll go for the cat coffee, in that case. I want something sweet.”. “I’ll have those right out!”, Hanako smiled.
Finally out of that damn dress, Hanako thought, retrieving her cell phone from her pocket, and reading her messages, which only bored her further. She was supposed to go home after work, but she wanted to see the sakura trees in the park, as it was spring, and they were in full bloom. She hoped she’d get to see the Headless Rider, or something cool. Maybe then her mundane life would be a little more interesting. She was so sick of the same cycle she went through everyday. School, then work, the straight home for homework and studying. Sometimes she was able to watch TV, if she got done with all her assignments by 10, her curfew. Hanako knew she’d be in trouble when she got back home late, but she couldn’t care anymore. When was she not in trouble? At this point her father was more mad at her than not, and her mother was in America, like always, working at her fashion company. She had finally made it to the fountain, in the center of the park, to which she sat on. She pulled the book she’d been reading out of her bag, and silently read it. It was about “How to Live Life Like You Want”, another inspirational book her mother had given to her. She thought it was a sign from Mom, that maybe she should break out of the mundane, but had quickly written out the thought. Mother wanted her to marry Makoto  just as much as her father did, for the same reasons too. Money, power, and title. The three things that fueled all of her parents decisions on her behalf.  She’d be forced to forfeit free will for as long as she could remember. Makato was… nice, but when you’re forced to marry someone, you only see their flaws. He was quick to anger, and spoiled. He didn’t know suffering, and she supposed she didn’t either, but it doesn’t make her any less resentful of him. He was never yelled at, didn’t have to work for his good grades, and did horse-back riding. He was annoyingly perfect. Hanako hated him. She let the words of the chapter sink in, about making your own choices that benefit you. Wish it was that easy, she thought, Wish I could just leave and never look back. She shoveled the book back in her bag, and shook off her crazy ideas. She couldn’t leave. Not in a million years. She sent a text to her dad, a quick, “I’m ok and I’ll be home soon.”, text. She began her walk home, and paused for a moment when she saw two of her underclassmen, Anri Sonohara and Mikado Ryugamine, walking together, most likely heading home. She was slightly jealous of them, but nothing she had confirmed, or had been confirmed. She could tell by looking into their eyes that they lived a life that was anything besides normal. She looked away for a moment, and thought hard for a moment. I could run. I could make it. I could join the Dollars. I could look for the Headless Rider…, she thought, before again, shaking the thought away. She owed it to her parents to do what they wanted. They had given her a good life, and given her life to begin with, the least she could do was pay them back in doing their wishes. Besides, she couldn’t leave her younger sister, Asumi. Asumi loved the way they lived though, and wanted to marry Makoto instead of her older sister. Makoto was good with kids. Hell, he’d make a great dad. And a great husband. But he was to tame. He was too domesticated. Hanako didn’t want children or to be a housewife. She wanted to be free. Something she’d never felt. She was bound by chains of gratitude, and the feeling of owing her parents. She’d thought about the group of friends from earlier. Erika, Walker, Kyohei, and Saburo. She’d picked their names up from their conversations, which she’d been listening to as she waited on them. Sometimes, they included her, asking her questions or for her opinions. She wanted friends like them, a group of people she could trust with her life and secrets. Their smiles were genuine, their laughter full and bright. She felt her fingernails dig into her palms, and she pressed them harder, snapping herself out of her daydreaming. She let out a sigh and continued walking. Anri and Mikado were long gone, she couldn't even see them walking behind her. Friendship and… love, she thought sadly, Something I can’t have.
She made it home with no complications, which disappointed her, but what more did she expect? Her father went into his usual rant about her being late, told her that Stella, their housekeeper, would bring her dinner at her room because he needed the dining room for “work”. Hanako did as she was told, and sat herself at her desk, retrieving her red folder for homework, and began on her chemistry homework. Stella opened the door softly, and said, “Here’s your dinner, Hanako.”. “Thanks Stella.”. They were on a first name basis, as they had been for years. Stella was the daughter of one of her father’s workers' children, who couldn’t raise her, and asked him to take her in.  She was Hanako’s closest thing to a friend, as they had grown up together basically. Only difference was that Stella was being paid to be a prisoner of the Ito family home. Stella placed the plate of food on her desk. “Hanako, something appears to be bothering you. You can talk to me, anytime.”, Stella said. “I’m fine Stella, really. Just a bit stressed from balancing work, school, and training. Nothing I can’t handle.”, Hanako replied, grabbing Stella’s hand in her own, “But some green tea might help, if you wouldn’t mind.”. “Of course.”, Stella replied, “I’d be glad to get you some tea. Is that all?”. “Yes ma’am, it is.”, Hanako said with a smile, releasing Stella’s hand. Being eighteen, a student, an heir to a multi-billion dollar company, and a full-time maid café worker made life… hectic. She enjoyed her job. More than anything, really. Little did she know, the customers from earlier were talking about her.
“Dotachin, don’t you think that girl from the café was really pretty? Her boobs were big too! She was a perfect dating sim character.”, Erika exclaimed. “For sure! She’d be the mature older sister type, right?”, Walker chirped. “I don’t know, and I don’t care. She was nice, boobs or not.”, Kyohei replied, “Don’t make comments like that about any woman or girl, got it?”. “Aww man! It’s just true statements though!”, Erika whined. “We don’t wanna seem like we don’t respect women, do we?”, Saburo said. Walker and Erika nodded, “We aren’t like that at all!”. Kyohei nodded at Saburo in thanks. “HeyHey! Dotachin, we should ask her if she wants to join us! She seemed so bored with her life!”, Erika exclaimed, “She seems super kick-assey too!”. “Yeah for sure! She seems so mysterious. She’s actually like a protagonist! Super bored with their life and looking for change! We could be the supporting characters of her story! I bet she has daddy issues too!”, Walker gushed. “Here we go again.”, Saburo groaned. “We can’t just walk up to her and ask if she wants to join our gang.”, Kyohei explained, “It’s a surefire way to get reported to the cops.”. “Aww man! I wanted another girl on our team…”, Erika mumbled. “I wanted a big sister type girl!”, Walker pouted. Kyohei sighed. Saburo laughed, “So you thought we were going to just ask her, and she would say yes?”. Erika and Walker looked at each other. “Joining a gang isn’t the kind of thing someone says yes too.”. “Well yeah but-”, Erika started, but was cut off by Kyohei, “Saburo's right. No one joins a gang because someone asks them too.”. “Unless there’s blackmail! Or threats!”, Walker exclaimed. “Right…”, Kyohei replied.
Hanako gripped the pencil in her hand harder, her eyes scanning the algebra questions, and answering them easily. “Simplify…”, she muttered, before furiously scribbling things down. Stella’s home brewed green tea always made her focused, most likely because of the caffeine. Stella had left a while ago, and Hanako missed the presence of her, as she acted as a big sister in a weird way. She was five years older than Hanako,  and was wiser and less driven by emotions, not to say she was emotionless. She had a very logical view on life, and passed on her opinions with reserve and grace. She was dignified, and way more suited to be the Ito’s next chairman. Suddenly, her door burst open, and she heard the voice of her twelve year old sister, Asumi, who exclaimed, “Hana! I want you to paint my nails!”. “Asumi… I’m doing homework, maybe later.”. “No I want them done now~”, she whined, “I’ll pay you ten bucks!”. “I don’t need your money, Asumi.”. “Well I want you to paint my nails, so make it twenty.”. Asumi had no idea how much twenty dollars really was in her young mind. “Fine, if you insist.”, Hanako sighed. She was almost done anyway. “I’ll go get the color!”, Asumi cheered, looping her skinny arms around Hanako, burying her face into her breasts. “Ok, ok. I get it.”, Hanako said, rubbing the girl’s blonde hair. Asumi ran out, and was back two minutes later with a pearl pink color in her hands. She thrusted the bottle into Hanako’s outstretched hands, “Thank you Hanahanamura!”. “I told you to just call me Hana.”, Hanako sighed. “Okok fine!!”, Asumi giggled, “Do you have time to do my feet and my fingers?”. “A mani-pedi? Don’t you know dad would let you get your nails done any day of the week.”. “I know but it isn’t the same as when you do it Hana!”. The sentiment warmed Hanako’s heart, and she began painting her sister’s nails.
“Your twenty dollars, m’lady.”, Asumi giggled as she passed Hanako a crisp twenty dollar bill. “Thank you my peasant.”, Hanako teased. “Hey! I am at least a princess!”, Asumi cried out. “You sure are. Princess Asumi, Queen Athena, King Mirio and…”. “Princess Hanako! If I'm a princess you’re a princess!”. “Umm… ok, Princess Hanako.”. Hanako wasn’t the same as her sister, not at all. Her sister wasn’t a closed door rebellion, a secret disgrace. She didn’t hate her father, or Makoto. She wasn’t selfish. “Mhm!~ Princess Hana and her Prince Charming, Makoto!”.  Asumi had said it as a joke, but Hanako cringed at that statement. “Yeahhhhhhhh.”. “Mhm!~”. Stella broke the awkward situation, “Ms. Asumi, it’s your curfew.”. Asumi pouted, and hugged Hanako goodbye. “Night Night Hana!”, she said softly, kissing Hanako’s pale cheek. Hanako wrapped her arms around Asumi, and kissed the crown of her head, “Goodnight Princess Asumi.”. Ausmi released Hanako, and bounded behind Stella, heading to her room. Hanako finished her homework, and took a shower. As the hot water ran down her body, she found herself singing. “I hope you know that I’m trying to build a life I can love. I hope I never stop dreaming, I need something I believe in.”, she sang, projecting her thoughts and feelings into the words she sang, “I dip this world in black and white, monochrome igniting. I'm gonna be a neon sign. Let the ship rest 'cause I'm lighting up the city. I don't ever wanna wake up wondering, where the youth have gone. Not gonna be another sell out zombie, wondering what went wrong.  I'll never give in,  I'll never back down, I'll never be another zombie in a life that's not my own.”. By the end of her “song”, she felt a little better, a little less confused. She stepped out of the warm shower, and dried herself off, putting on her pajamas, and laid down in bed. She decided to read, and picked up where she’d left off in the book her mother had given her. “Chapter Five.”, she read aloud, “Don’t Be a Slave to Obligation”. She was shocked by the chapter title. It was exactly what she was suffering from. She read more, engrossed by the chapter’s calling out of her lifestyle. A slave to obligation is what I am, she thought, but I don’t have to be, do I?. But of course she did, she had no choice. She shook off the thought, it was ridiculous. She had to stay. For her parents, for Asumi, for Stella. She looked out the window, at the city below her, a large and vast place of different people and different groups she could become a part of. AShe could create her own group if she really wanted to. Her mind flickered back to Kyohei and his group of unlikely  friends, and their connection. A bond stronger than steel, that nothing can peirce, ever. She longed for that, and not in the negative way she was feeling currently towards her family. Her mind flickered to Sakura, who was thinking about joining the Dollars, to her anxiety around people her age. Hanako ran a brush through her brown hair, her chocolate eyes fixed on the small handheld device on her nightstand. I could sign up for the Dollars right now… it would be so easy. “No!”, she commanded herself, “No more stupid thoughts!”. She grabbed her phone, but not to join the Dollars, instead to text her mother. “I’m enjoying the book you sent me, it’s very eye opening! Thank you Mother!”, she typed, and sent. Her mother didn’t respond, which she expected, as it was eight A.M in New York, which meant her mother was working. Athena Ito had a strict work schedule, which included not taking breaks for texts or calls that weren’t directly related to Ito Fashion.  Ito Tech and Ito Fashion… the company's her parents owned. She finished brushing her hair, placing both the phone and brush on the nightstand, plugging the phone in, and fell asleep quickly.

my love : my dream home
this will probably change as i get older, but for now i like "cozy scandinavian" style~ though if there's anything i'm sure of it's that i want a lot of plants!!! and a big garden!!! aha, although i prefer the bedroom to have a lot of pictures w/ friends and clutter... oh, but my eyes usually draw to rooms like below (ty pinterest)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
princess : if you could live in any other time period, which would it be?
let's ignore all the problems of those time periods first haha 😅 i'm a big fan of the romantic era bc of the art & fashion + my favourite composers (Liszt & Tchaikovsky) fall under that era~
button : do you have a type? what is it like?
in terms of fictional characters: sort of? it's changing a bit more now, but...
appearance wise most of them tend to be either [1] blonde/green hair, tall, probably glasses, intelligent, has a sharp tongue (tsukishima, midorima, chikage to name some)
or [2] strong muscle men who are really nice, actually (ushijima, rio busujima, tasuku, omi)
my irl type: best friend/older brother type person? as the mom friend (TM) i'd DIE for someone who will spoil me... give me sweets & lots of cuddles & for once someone who can make me look nice in a photo and i will do anything for u pls TT
darling : what romantic gesture makes you feel the most loved
genuinely so affection deprived that most romantic gestures make me soft and swoon
honestly i appreciate it most when someone goes out of their way to help me out? sincere compliments & spoiling are rly good too lol
LET'S GET THIS BREAD!!!... i want bread rn lol

(Text Meme) 💌no.10 from kazama to chizuru
A loving text letter from Kazama to Chizuru ♥
Note: Contribution to the Inaugural KazaChi Ship Week hosted by @hakuoukishippingweek !
Tumblr media
My dear Chizuru-sama,
The cool autumn wind blows the leaves along the streets and reminds me that I am back in Edo after several months in the far south. I may one day learn to call this city Tokyo, but more likely I will not bother.  I have no need to appease the sensibilities of the human Emperor, after all.  (Ah, I can see you smile with fond disapproval at that comment - quite a feat! You continue to believe that my views on the empty vanity of humans are themselves vanity, I’m afraid.)
I will not ask after your health, as I saw you yesterday and an Oni of your lineage is unlikely to be unwell.  Nevertheless… I was sorry to see you looking rather tired and thin.  I do not dare comment that this is the result of trying to live a lonely, human life, for fear that the lovely but overly-belligerent Sen-hime will descend upon me with her fan, despite being miles away in Kyoto.
[Ed.’s Note:  It is remarkable how often people say that they won’t comment while in the midst of commenting. Also, such comments are rarely favourable.]
I will visit you again later today, so that we can continue to discuss what our next steps together should be.  You will note the use of the word we, which is intended to assure you that I have not forgotten that although you appear to be demure and rather shy, you prefer to be consulted about certain matters (i.e., most things!), rather than leave decisions to your husband-to-be.  I suppose that you believe this to be a reasonable preference, and I am more disposed to agree than I was in the past.
I am not always good at expressing myself, Chizuru.  Moreover, I am not a sentimental man, and that makes me appear cold to you. The Shinsengumi of whom you were so fond were undeniably sentimental men, which I believe appealed to you. Nevertheless, after all of the months that we spent together searching for those overly-sentimental fools men,** I cannot help but know that you embrace sentiment with fervour and are an immensely empathic creature. Therefore, I will allow myself the indulgence of sentimentality for a moment to say that I have come to admire you greatly.  You show the true courage and steadfastness of your family.  I believe that your Clan would be proud of you.
[Ed.’s Note:  Kazama-san followed in the steps of the Shinsengumi for an extraordinarily long time for a non-sentimental man.  Even supposing the journey to have been in part on Chizuru’s behalf, which was not the case at the beginning, the Editor must admit to skepticism regarding Kazama-san’s claim to only marginal interest in the Shinsengumi.  There are different types of sentiment, after all.  Even Kazama-san’s determination to marry Chizuru strongly suggests a significant depth of sentiment, at least for traditional Oni beliefs.]
Six months ago, I kissed you to remind you that we had developed a bond, something quite apart from any requirement to marry for the sake of our people (as real as I still believe that to be). Strangers may wed, and often do, but I hoped to convey a particular understanding of and affection for Yukimura Chizuru.
Yesterday, I kissed you because there was such joy and relief in your eyes when you turned and saw me.  You are utterly transparent, Chizuru!  Perhaps I should not have taken advantage of such a moment, but I cannot truly regret or even condemn my actions, especially as it was extremely pleasant to eat dinner and spend the evening in your company afterward.
What I am trying to write is that I hope that our true first kiss is not long delayed.  That is, I look forward to the first kiss that is neither an assurance nor (as some would see it) stolen from you.  A shared kiss.  I can hear you now, Chizuru, saying that this is sentiment!  Perhaps it is. I would call it the logical next step, although… honesty impels me to confess that I wish for it with more emotion than logic can reasonably explain.
I will see see you in the early afternoon at your father’s home.  Tea is more than acceptable to drink, since it is clear to me after yesterday evening that you keep little decent sake on hand and have neither the head nor the palate to enjoy it. [Ed.’s Note:  The brusqueness of this final comment suggests that Kazama-san felt impelled to restore a less “sentimental” tone to the letter.]
Most sincerely,
Kazama Chikage

How did you fall for each of your biases? Even the more, er, unmentionable ones. I won't tell them. ;D
Okay, @labyrinthofleah. Top 5 Voltage.
Takuto: Truly a match made in fictional heaven. Hes grumpy, into technology, smart mouth, blond, tsun, with a love of pork ramen. It took maybe two screens and I was sold.
Chikage: Took a minute, honestly. He got initial props for being a tsun and well, I like tsuns (if you didn’t know) but truly, he has Koten, and I’m not sayyyying that I chose Chikage because he has Koten to tag along with... but I’m also not saying it didn’t hurt his chances...
Meh-Meh: I unfortunately knew he was going to be a keeper from early on. And let me tell you why. Because here I am playing Hanai? (I think hanai’s route was first... or Kirisawa.... anyway) and that stupid mug would show up and say something stupid and I started fussing at him in real life and then MC would fuss at him and he would react. And it was really unfortunate. And I’ve said this before, but I am MPD’s MC and most specifically HIS MC because... she’s the toughest of the MPD’s MC’s and she’s great. I would marry that MC she’s just so damn funny, I love her. And she’s feisty and punches Meh Meh, and throws people over her shoulder, and eats steak and pork cutlets with no abandon. She’s great.
Jinpachi: Well, hes a long haired muscled bound adonis with a camera. He ALMOST snagged first bias out from Takuto. He was REALLLY close. But then his game died. so ... he’s always in my dreams.
Prince Edward: I’m so sorry. Like I know in some respects Keith should probably be the BMP Prince bias... but I dunno man, if I’m gonna be a Princess... I’m gonna be a Disney Fairy Princess. Plus like sometimes I want to know if it’s roses he’s sniffing all the time or other... ‘herbs’... yknow what im saying. He’s just so other worldly sometimes. Plus he’s tall.
----
Kazama: If you don’t think for one SPLIT second that a hot blond villain demon with a deep voice (Tsuda-Ken) that screams lust and sin could make someones (mine) panties drop, we don’t know each other very well. He keeps telling MC he’s gonna steal her away in all the other guys routes and Im sitting her screaming “TAKE ME DAMNIT TAKE ME NOW” So. Things happen.
----
Van Helsing: (Impey is like a close second but i think Van wins overall... just not with our AU, right leah) Again. Blond. Tsun. Deep voice (Daisuke Ono). Guns. Glasses (hot megane alert!). I see a trend. Plus that epilogue cg I still have dreams about. hot damn. He’s my vita background.
----
OMG. MYSTIC MESSENGER, I TRULY CANNOT CHOOSE BETWEEN JUMIN AND ZEN. Like. Fight me, I won’t choose. A fluffy white cat helps a great deal. Plus you know... money and men in suite. But find me weak in the knees every time Zen calls MC honey, or baby whichever it was. Like. No dice. Not choosing. (Jumin’s my tumblr icon atm)
-----
Okay for Norn (I still havent played Natuhiko, who is who I believe I would pick again... Daisuke Ono) but in light of that. I love Nanami MC. Is she not the best thing thats ever happened ever? I love her. And by extension I’m choosing the great Ron “I wear my sunglasses at - ALL TIMES” Muroboshi. Deep voice. Tall. Like he is the definition of a hot mess. And I love that he’s practically non-existent in most the other routes. He’s almost non-existent in his own he sleeps half of it. And then it’s all cute at the end.  Plus it’s Gintama.
----
Amnesia - EASY choice- Kent. Again.. Blonde. Tsun. Tall. Nerdy. Deep voice. He attacks people with math questions. YOU HAVE TO ANSWER MATH QUESTIONS DURING HIS ROUTE. NERD. I love him. He brings a cake for like your 1/2 month anniversary. WE GO TO LONDON. I dunno he’s perfect and beautiful. He’s my ipad homescreen.

Hunter and Vileblood
Short sort of fluff-ish thing I just wrote with my OCs as hunters. Been a while since I wrote anything but wanted to take a break from the smut for something I guess cute. And I forgot how terrible and unoriginal I am with titles lol
The habit had become normal for many hunters. Go out into the night as soon as the sun settled, kill as many beasts as possible and those that survived returned to their homes. The following night most gathered at Arax’s home to swap tales of their heroic deeds and close calls while the listeners either laughed or gasped in horror. Some hunters had a reputation of being excellent storytellers, among them was Latoya who would entertain the masses with her vivid words and close attention to detail, her loud booming voice commanded the attention of all hunters within the hall as she acted out her tale of the hunt. Even the night itself would settle down when Latoya spoke. She stood on her chair as she held her trusted Bloodletter in her hands while every hunter laid their eyes on her.
“And there we were facing down that nightmarish creature, teeth bare and slick with saliva, claws and fur caked with its victims’ blood, eyes beady and ready to feast on two more hunters. It stood tall as it let out a roar! Stench of rot and blood made us gag but we stood equally tall and ready. It made a run for us and when it was close it drew back its arms and just as it swung them towards us Angelus shot it in the throat! Wasn't enough to kill it but it stun it long enough. I jumped into the air with my Bloodletter in hand, Angelus ran forward with his blood-covered Chikage. He cut through the beast’s belly! I slammed the Bloodletter right into its skull! That is how the Beast-possessed Soul ended at our feet!” Latoya exclaimed as she slammed her Bloodletter onto the table with a loud thud.
“A Beast-possessed Soul? I don't think I’ve ever seen one before.” Ginger said as she looked at Latoya in awe.
“Wasn't easy but when you have reliable partners alongside you even Great Ones will tremble in fear.” Latoya said as she looked to Angelus which caused everyone else to look toward him as well.
However, the comment, or better said, the entire story had fallen on deaf ears. Ever since Angelus had noticed that one lone hunter of hunters walk back outside he kept staring at him through the window and completely ignored most of what was said in the hall.
“McGrath?” Latoya teased as she stepped off the chair and smiled.
“Hmmm?” He turned his head towards Latoya though he kept his eyes on the hunter. “What is it?”
Latoya chuckled while walking over to Angelus and sat next to him as she looked towards where he was looking. “You know, if you really want to talk to him I think you should.”
“I don't wanna bother him.”
“Something tells me you wouldn't be bothering him.” Latoya reassured him as she looked out to see the hunter sitting out in the cold by himself. She felt slightly bad for him, apart from Ginger, he didn't seem to have any friends. She'd met his brother before he died but it seemed as if he never fully recovered from his death. Most of the time he kept to himself and barely spoke to anyone.
“If you ask me,” Cyrus spoke up from across the table, “You should stay away from him. He’s nothing but trouble.”
“No one asked you, Cyrus.” Ginger bitterly said as she stared down at the older church hunter.
“I’m with Cyrus, that boy is trouble.” Trevor said as he swallowed his second shot of whiskey.
“How would you even know he’s trouble? Neither of you have ever bothered to even talk to him.” Angelus retorted defensively as he glared at Cyrus and Trevor.
“Even if we understood half of what he said---”
“Oh, here we go! That charming Yharnamite attitude towards outsiders! Do you people even consider the fact that most hunters are foreigners? In fact, Cyrus, you and Trevor are the only damn Yharnamites here. Where are the rest of you? Huh?” Angelus said.
“It doesn't change the fact that Ingvarrsson is dangerous.” Trevor began as he tried to calm the hall down. “He’s reckless, acts without thinking, constantly putting himself at risk, he doesn't care about anyone, incapable of apologizing---he’s a passive-aggressive sociopath.”
“Borderline psychopath if you ask me. He doesn't feel any remorse and can't feel anything for anyone but himself. You should be careful, he might be using you.”
“How dare you assume anything of someone you don't even know! Shame on both of you!”
The hunters in the hall turned to where the familiar voice had come from. Standing at the end of the hall was Arax staring down at the two Yharnamites who had lowered their heads when Arax began to speak.
“You don't know anything about him. He’s been through a lot and has lost everyone so excuse him if he doesn’t appeal to your standard of charming. Jelani is as dependable and as skilled as any of you in here, maybe even more than most of you. So I would appreciate it if none of my hunters spoke ill of each other.”
With that Arax left leaving the hall in an uncomfortable silence as the hunters gathered in it looked around at each other. Most had lost some loved ones while some had lost everything, Jelani included, but it seemed like Arax defended him the most. Truth be told many hunters indulged in many self-destructive activities, becoming a hunter was merely the first step for many but there were rumors about Jelani, ugly rumors that most ignored yet still whispered to one another.
Latoya shook her head at Trevor, she expected better from a fellow Vileblood, especially when Jelani had come to defend Vileblood hunters from Executioners. She then turned to look at Angelus but the smaller Vileblood had left her side. She smiled as she looked at the front door and saw it close.
Angelus closed the door carefully as to not frighten the hunter sitting at the top of the steps though he remained still and quiet at the sound of the door closing. He crossed his arms and slightly shivered, the night was a little colder than he had expected but he still sat next to the hunter who still seemed unreactive to his presence. Both men remained quiet for a while as the hunter took in the sight of the old city. When it was quiet, free of beasts and mad men and back to a degree of sanity Yharnam was a beautiful place. The Vileblood kept his eyes on the hunter.
“It's cute how they think I can't hear them talking about me.” Jelani finally spoke up. “Never been called a passive-aggressive sociopath before. Hmm, been called worse.”
Angelus had no way of replying to that. He felt awful that Jelani was so isolated by most of the hunters. The only ones who'd even give him the time of day were Arax, Ginger, Latoya and him.
“I’m sorry about those guys.”
“Det går bra---I mean, it's all right. It's not like I need them to like me.”
“Aren't you cold out here?” Angelus asked in a low tone as he sat next to Jelani. He figured the hunter would push him away or move over since he sat so close to him but he was pleasantly surprised when the hunter sat still.
“Nei,” Jelani shook his head as he kept his eyes forward, “I’m used to the cold. It's a hell of a lot colder where I come from anyway.”
“Norway, right?”
“Ja. Og du?”
“America.” Angelus assumed Jelani had asked where he had come from so he answered. He took Jelani’s subtle nod as acknowledging his question.
“So...why join the Vilebloods?” Jelani asked as he turned to look at Angelus. He was certainly pleasing to be around and to look at as well so he made an effort to socialize with him as best as he could.
“Well, after I lost my grandparents I stayed with Arax for a while but then I took off. I don't know exactly what I looking for but one day I bumped into Latoya and she took me in. Been my mentor since then and I felt it was the right thing to do.”
“I like her, she’s nice and she doesn't take bullshit from anyone or anything.” Jelani said as he drew his left hand close to his face and that's when Angelus noticed the lit cigarette between his fingers. He also noticed the burn scars on his palm and even though he was curious he restrained himself from asking about them.
“I didn't know you smoked.”
“My brother used to smoke all the time, I get absolutely no pleasure out of it but it reminds me of him.”
“What happened to him?”
“We were in Old Yharnam trying to get back home. We took a different route to avoid that lunatic on the rooftop with the gatling gun. Everything seemed fine, we barely ran into any beasts and we were getting across rather quickly. He um...he went to this shortcut we’d taken a few times before but I just had a bad feeling about it. You know when your gut tells you not to do something?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I tried to talk him out of it but he wouldn't budge he kept telling me that everything would be okay. I followed him into the building and right there in the middle was a giant beast. Same one that was down in the ruined church. Around the thing were dozens of beast patients, smaller but just as deadly. We turned around to leave but right behind us were some wolf beasts that had stalked us all the way to the building. From that exact moment it was just one bad idea after another. I locked us in the building after my brother mentioned we could cut our way through the mob and out the roof. Wasn't easy, we’d both gotten bit and clawed, we were bleeding all over ourselves and we were tired.”
Jelani exhaled a cloud of smoke through his nose and tossed the cigarette aside. After a brief moment of silence he continued.
“Once we reached the second floor one of those goddamned wolf beasts had broken through one of the windows and pinned Loke down. I managed to push it off of him and he hit it with a Molotov cocktail. We just stood there and watched the beast fall to the first floor and run around until it died. Thing is that as it ran about it brushed against the old furniture and drapes and everything caught fire. The fire did take out a few of the beasts but now we had to worry about them and the fire. So we kept running until we reached the last floor. Most of the windows were blocked but there was a small ladder that led to a hatch which we assumed led to the roof. Loke figured we could jump onto the roof of the other building and keep running. But…” Jelani’s voice shuddered as he lowered his head and dropped his shoulders.
“The hatch was locked and we couldn't break it or shoot it open. We saw an open window so we ran for it but there were still a bunch of beasts right on us and the fire finally caught up. I remember thinking that they’d follow us and I guess Loke thought the same thing. He told me to go out the window first but before I did he pulled me in, hugged me and told me that no matter what he was proud of me and that he loved me. Before I could even react he pushed me out of the window and by the time I gathered myself and looked up the fire was blocking the window. I ran back down to the street and tried to open the front door but the fire heated up the handles.” Jelani raised his left hand up with the palm out to show Angelus the burn scars and continued.
“I shot the door a few times and broke it open. I didn't care about the fire or the beasts or anything else. I just wanted to find him and get him out but Adam and Ginger were in the area and had seen the fire and ran to it, soon as they saw me trying to go back in they held me back. Tried to fight them off but they wouldn't let go, even after I told them my brother was in there they still wouldn't let go. Adam kept telling me Loke probably got out and like some naive fool I believed him. They dragged me back to Arax’s but as soon as the fire died down I ran back to look for him. There was no sign of Loke; I actually did believe he managed to get out in time and for a while I looked for him. I looked everywhere in Old Yharnam and all the nearby areas. After a few months of looking I stopped believing he made it out and then...well, I’m sure you've heard the rumors by now.”
“I’ll be honest; I tend to avoid rumors and gossip. They aren't exactly useful to me.” Angelus said as he looked directly at Jelani.
Jelani reached for another cigarette and held it between his fingers with his left hand. He held out his left arm and with his right hand pulled back his sleeve to reveal several scars across his wrist. For a moment Angelus stopped breathing as he looked at the scars and made sense of their specific placement. Once the realization of what the scars meant hit him he sighed as he closed his eyes but quickly looked back at Jelani with sympathetic eyes. He slowly reached out his hand and with the tip of his fingers gently brushed Jelani’s wrist as he leaned on his shoulder. Despite the irregularity of the surface he felt soft to the touch.
“I’m sorry.” Angelus whispered.
“Me too. When our parents died it did hurt but I still had my brother and I figured that as long as I had him everything would be okay. Then he died...worst of all was that the last thing Loke said to me was that he loved me and I didn't get to say it back.”
“He knows.”
Jelani nodded and sniffled as he reached into his pocket and took out his last match and last cigarette. He offered the cigarette to the Vileblood who eagerly took it after a shy and reserved thank you that made Jelani smile. The hunter then lit the match and his own cigarette but as he moved towards the Vileblood while covering the match it burned out.
“Faen…” Jelani cursed under his breath as he tossed the match behind him.
“That's okay.” Angelus reassured him as he turned to look to the door, “Maybe someone in there has some. I’ll be right---”
His sentence was cut short when Jelani grabbed him by the chin and pulled him towards him. While the cigarette was still in his mouth the hunter pressed the tip against the tip of the other cigarette to light it. With their faces so close the Vileblood quietly gasped but quickly let himself relax as he inhaled and let the smoke fill his lungs. The hunter chuckled as he pulled back and stood up while smiling at the Vileblood that was trying to hide his face so he wouldn't see him blushing.
“Uh...wait!” Angelus yelled out as he quickly stood up.
“Ja?” Jelani asked as he turned around to face him.
As soon as Angelus saw Jelani looking right at him and waiting for him to say what he wanted to say he looked sideways and began to fidget with his fingers as he usually did when he was nervous. He began to speak with a raspy whisper as he forced himself to say what he’d been dying to ask the hunter all day long. “Um, feel free to say no but maybe if you want we could team up for the next hunt. If it's okay with you, I mean---”
“Sure.”
“Great!” He flinched when he heard himself sound a little too excited and too loud and quickly dropped his shoulders while lowering his face as soon as he felt his cheeks warm up. He thought he must've sounded foolish as he blurted the response loudly and thought the hunter would either be annoyed or about to change his mind about teaming up with him. He was surprised to hear the hunter walking back up the steps. He was even more surprised when the hunter grabbed his hands, gently pulled the Vileblood towards him and kissed him on his right cheek.
“It's a date then.” Jelani said as he slightly bowed at the Vileblood while smiling. “Se deg rundt, Vileblood.”
