My Prime Mover
Papa Emeritus l (Primo) x Reader
Summary: Sunshine wanted the truth to Primo, but it was more than she could've imagined. Especially since all Ghouls knew except her.
Warning: Angst, mentions of death (of a child and mc), 5 stages of grief, and eventually comfort.

Mountain was always the first Ghoul awake, while every Ghoul ate breakfast, he was off to Primo's room. The Earth Ghoul always helped the oldest Emeritus out to his gardens each morning, as the Ghouls watched.
Almost all Ghouls knew why he helped Primo, except for Sunshine. She was a newly summoned Ghoul, as she watched every morning. She had heard horror stories about the Papa, that his cruelty knew no bounds. Yet, Mountain made him look like a fragile, broken old man.
Whenever the Earth Ghoul was questioned about it, he would always reply that it wasn't his story to tell. It always made Sunshine frustrated, so as she sat with the Ghoulettes watching the pair, she sighed loudly.
"What's wrong, Sunshine?" Cirrus asked, looking up from her breakfast, tilting her head to the side.
Sunshine crossed her arms, nodding towards the window showing the garden, "Those two. I don't know why Mountain does it every day."
Cumulus looked up at Cirrus, her shoulders dropped as the two looked at each other in sorrow. Sunshine instantly knew there was something more than just two friends going to the garden.
"What is it?"
"You were never told…" Cirrus sighed, standing up as she motioned for Sunshine to follow, "Come on, you're going to learn either way."
Cumulus stood up and followed Cirrus into the living room as Sunshine scrambled after the two. She was excited to finally learn the truth, but nervous by their solemn tones. As the three reached the living room, Cumulus grabbed a scrapbook from behind a couple of books.
Sitting down on the couch, Sunshine was in-between Cumulus and Cirrus as the Ghoulette put the scrapbook onto Sunshine's lap. The cover of the book was plain, only with the name Y/N Emeritus scribbled on the front.
"Who is Y/N?" Sunshine asked, gaining no response as Cumulus turned to the first page.
The first page had a single photo, though it was big enough to take up the whole page. The photo looked old, its age apparently by the looks of it. A younger looking Primo stares lovingly at a Sibling, who smiles brightly into the camera.
"Long before Copia became Papa, there was a person. Their name was Y/N, and they were a Sibling. They came to the Ministry, offering their skills in exchange for shelter. Primo was under Papa Nihil's wing then, he had been taught his purpose and he followed it without question," Cirrus explained, pointing to the Sibling as she turned to the next page.
The next two pages held a couple of big photos, with small photos placed randomly. The most eye-catching one was Primo obviously upset at what looked like Dew and you laughing at him.
Cirrus continued, showing the other page where a photo of you two kissing laid peacefully, "They maddened him, he infuriated them, but respect grew to admiration and admiration to love. Does it surprise you that Primo loved?"
Sunshine stared at the joy in the photos, Primo looked like such a different person. There was a gentleness to how he cupped your face, love hidden in his closed eyes. She swore to Satan that they were two different people. The Primo she knew held no joy, no love, he was stone cold. Yet, the Primo held so much love.
"They were meticulous and gentle, strong willed, stubborn, fearless." Cirrus smiled fondly, thinking about you as she turned the page. The next page had you holding a baby with Primo, "It began with an infant, orphaned at the Ministry's steps."
The baby was clearly neither of yours, it didn't look like either of you and didn't have the Emeritus mismatched eyes. Yet, you two looked so happy to hold the baby, to have the baby in your arms. The photo was clearly taken from gardens, with all the flowers around.
"Papa Nihil had taught him duty, Satan, and the church, but Y/N showed him that he was more than an instrument for the church. They had one life and they wanted to share it together," Cirrus cleared her throat, catching Sunshine's attention again as she focused on the other page.
It was clear that some time had passed, the baby looked older. Not enough to be a toddler, but he had more hair. You stood with the baby in your arms in an apartment, though Primo wasn't in sight. Sunshine guessed he was the one taking the photo by the joy you had in your eyes as you looked at the camera.
Slowly, Sunshine held Cumulus' hand as she sniffled. She could sense how much her fellow Ghoulettes loved you, just by how the two radiated comfort by talking about you.
"They called the boy Malacoda and he called Primo, father. In his joy, Primo thought to abandon his Papa title as he had abandoned Nihil's ways."
Cirrus flipped the page and the two pages were composed of photos of the three of you. Your son slowly aging with the photos till he looked around the age of seven. Even as he wasn't your biological son, he looked similar to you two.
Sunshine smiled at the happiness of you and Primo. She had never seen the Papa with a smile, much less the smile he had in the photos. She saw Cirrus and Cumulus smile at your joy, Cumulus wiping some of the tears that pooled at the edge of her eyes.
Cirrus slowly closed the scrapbook, even though there were more pages as she spoke sadly, "That joy ended as it began, with their son. When Malacoda followed his father back to the Abbey, Primo could not protect him and Y/N could not save him."
Sunshine gasped, covering her mouth in shock as Cumulus hugged her. Cirrus looked down at the scrapbook, tears threatening to escape from the Ghoulette as she tried to keep it together.
"Malacoda died in Y/N's arms. Primo wanted their forgiveness, but they knew there was nothing to forgive and that giving up his title would be no absolution for him," Cirrus sorrowfully explains, her head leaning onto Sunshine's shoulder.
"What happened?" Sunshine asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She was afraid that Primo would hear her, despite being out in the gardens.
"They returned to the lives they once led. Y/N became a Sibling again and Primo returned to being Papa," Cirrus answered, "Though, it didn't last long. Just like Malacoda, Primo couldn't save Y/N."
By now, tears were falling from the two Ghoulettes as they thought about you. Sunshine opened the scrapbook again and flipped through some of the pages. Slowly, there became less and less photos till they stopped. Despite there still being more pages, they remained empty.
Some of the photos were just Malacoda, others held a ton of Ghouls, like Alpha and Mountain. In every photo, there was so much joy. Sunshine could feel the love from the photos, especially from the Ghouls towards Malacoda.
There were some photos with the other three Papas, all looking younger. Even Secondo looked happy to be with his nephew, a small smile on the Papa's face. Yet, in all the photos, Sunshine didn't see Papa Nihil.
"Primo shut us all out, he insisted on being alone," Cumulus cries, wiping the neverending tears, "We all grieve differently, but he… He didn't want any support."
Standing up, Sunshine made her way to the gardens. The two other Ghoulettes tried to stop her, calling out to her as she carried the burden of the scrapbook with her as she entered the gardens. Mountain was standing by as Primo made his way around the garden, mumbling something to himself.
Mountain went to step in front of Sunshine, not wanting to let her bring the scrapbook near Primo. She quickly stepped to the side, rushing over to the Papa as she kneeled down, offering the scrapbook.
"Papa," Sunshine whispered, handing him the scrapbook as he shakily held the scrapbook, "You deserve to hold this again."
Primo says nothing as he opens the scrapbook, taking out the first photo. A slight smell of lavender came from the photo, calming the Ghoulette down as she stared at the eldest Emeritus.
"Tell me, does it still smell like lavender?" Primo asks, not daring to take his eyes off of the photo, "Or has that long passed with my amore?"
"I can still smell the lavender."
Primo walks over to a large tree, closing the scrapbook as Sunshine slowly follows. In the corner behind the tree, the Ghoulette sees two graves. Moss covered, cracked tombstones with pedals from the tree falling onto them. She quickly notices that it says Y/N Emeritus on one and Malacoda Emeritus on the other.
With the help of Mountain, Primo sits down in front of the graves. He silently pats the spot next to him, offering the spot to Sunshine as she quickly takes it. The Papa slowly opens the scrapbook again, putting the photo back on the first page.
"Y/N was the love of my life, I loved them with everything I held. This photo was taken a couple of months after they became a Sibling," Primo explains quietly, a soft smile on his face as tears kissed his Papal paint, "I forgot how beautiful they were. Mi mancano. I haven't spoken about them since…"
Sunshine finished his sentence, "Their death. Papa, you must understand, the others miss them too. You are not alone in your grief."
Primo scoffed, tears angrily spilling into the grass below, "How would you know? You never even met them."
"I miss them. Y/N and Malacoda both," Mountain admits quickly, afraid that it'll send him back to Hell, "Malacoda was such a sweet boy, he had your green touch and I loved visiting. I miss Y/N's gentle touch, their cooking."
Primo squeezed his mismatched eyes shut, tears falling fast as Mountain looked away. Despite not seeing it, Sunshine knew that the Ghoul was crying. It was the first time she had ever seen him cry.
"You're right, I never met them. I never got to, but I see everyone's love for your son and Y/N." Sunshine stopped herself, thinking about what she wanted to say next before continuing, "Papa, do you want to talk about them? If you want, the others can join."
Primo opened his eyes, looking over at the Ghoulette with the soft eyes she only saw in the photos. Sunshine bit back a shocked face, as she awaited his answer.
Slowly, Primo nodded, "I would enjoy that. Thank you, Sunshine, for all of this. I almost forgot…"
Sunshine pulled out the photo of you and Primo kissing, admiring it before handing it to the Papa with a smile. She quickly spoke, "You don't have to go through it alone anymore."
"Oh mio Primo Motore," Primo sobbed, holding the photo close to his heart as he leaned forward, "Mi dispiace, mi dispiace tanto. Ti prego, perdonami."
"There is nothing to forgive," Cirrus spoke quietly, making the three look up from the graves, "Y/N knew that. It wasn't your fault."
A couple of the Ghouls found themselves around Cirrus, some with forgiving smiles while others held tears in their eyes. Even some of Primo's Ghouls, who Sunshine saw a lot of in the photos, were there.
"We all loved Malacoda and Y/N. I still remember when they first became your assistant," Omega started, looking at the grave as if it'd raise you from the dead, "The yelling from your office was crazy, though you never fired them and they never quit."
"You're not alone, Papa, all of the Ghouls, even the other Papas, were touched by Y/N and Malacoda."
Primo placed the photo back into the scrapbook, laying it quietly against your tombstone. Tears wet the grass underneath the Papa as he gripped his robes tightly.
"It's okay, Primo, everything will be okay. We are going to get through this together. Just like Y/N and Malacoda would want," Alpha speaks quietly, "And when you are ready, when you are done here on this Earth, our Lord is awaiting with those two."
Primo doesn't stop the sob that falls from him as he thinks about you. You were waiting for him weren't you? You were with Malacoda, waiting at the edge of death for him. He could see your smile as you held a laughing Malacoda in your arms.
"You aren't alone."
I got inspiration from Destiny 2, but this made me tear up. I hope you all enjoyed it!

Worshipping Aether timeee <3
Aether/Era V Ghouls; explicit; WC 2,390
Body writing (cute->empowering->erotic), mirrors, very brief mentions of a daddy kink and hinting at pet play
Mountain had been mindlessly drawing on his hand for comfort, that's all it should have been. Little squiggles and triangles until the earth ghoul went higher up his arm, hearts and shitty stars decorating it. But soon enough the etching turned into an 'I love you' over and over in the same place. And this got Aether squirming in his seat as Mountain added more script onto his arm. 'My little blossom'. 'My love'. 'My loving mate'. Mountain was becoming well aware of the blush rising up Aether's neck, goosebumps visible on his exposed forearm. He shouldn't be feeling like this from some pen marks of all things.
Mountain kissed the written words and scribbled some more. 'Sexy forearms'. 'My hot, sexy, gorgeous boyfriend'. The words were silly (and Mountain had to scribble over a mistake spelling 'gorgeous'), but every letter was electrifying his body. "Mount…" Mountain looked up at him and the ghoul's lips upturned into a knowing smile. It wasn't the first time this had happened. Cumulus, who's head had been laying on Mountain's lap, turned to look up at him when she heard the want in his voice.
The ghoulette trilled when she read the writing and rubbed against Mountain, taking the ballpoint pen from his hands. She added a small 'soft lover' with a little cloud, making Aether's breath hitch. One of Mountain's hands squeezed his inner thigh and Aether felt something in him break. The plea that fell from his lips sounded foreign to his own ears.
Mountain was quick to act, scooping Aether into his arms. "Cirrus' room? She has the mirror." Mountain growled in agreement with Cumulus' words. Aether grabbed a strong hold of the earth ghoul's shirt as a sob threatened to escape him, feeling Cumulus' lips on his shoulder as she ran a hand down his arm. "We got you darling, we'll make you feel so good, I promise. It okay if I tell the others?" Aether's eyes shut closed, the feeling of embarrassment coming over him, but he nodded either way. He heard the smile in Cumulus' voice as she cheerfully said, "I'll get my markers!"
Mountain's strong arms carried him to the other air ghoulette's room, who sat up at attention as soon as she saw and smelled the two. She looked at Mountain with a silent question as he laid Aether down, sitting besides him. "Show her, Aeth." Mountain's tone was gentle and caring as he ran a thumb over Aether's lips. His face hid against Mountain's thigh as he extended his arm to Cirrus, hearing a small oh from her soon enough as she ran her fingers over the ink.
"Mirror?" Mountain must have nodded because soon the bed was shifting as Cirrus stood above him to uncover the mirror on the ceiling. His ears twitched as he heard footsteps coming down the hall and gripped Mountain's leg tightly.
"Shh, it's alright Aeth." Aether stayed quiet as he heard Swiss inhale sharply and what sounded like Cumulus' markers knocking against each other. He jumped as he felt a cool hand on his forearm; it was Rain. "Speak up, are you 100% okay with this proceeding?"
Aether took a moment to regain his voice, feeling ghouls settling around him on the bed. "Yes, yes please." There were chirps and purrs coming from all around as he felt Rain's hands begin to slip under his shirt.
"Off, Aeth, please." He whined as Swiss pulled him away from Mountain, helping him sit up. As Swiss helped him get rid of his shirt, Aether noticed Cumulus letting the other's pick a marker, but Sunshine and Dewdrop were still missing. Swiss pushed him back down onto Mountain's lap who had situated himself right behind him. Rain carefully worked his bottoms off, leaving him bare. He instantly felt self conscious as their eyes took in his bare body but before he could attempt to hide, hands were holding him down.
Before he could complain, Sunshine and Dewdrop rushed in; the two were disheveled with hungry eyes that widened the instant they landed on him. Aether's heartbeat quickened as their gazes turned predatory, walking and climbing onto the bed slowly as if stalking a prey. They kneeled by his feet, claws tickling his shins. Before he could feel as if they were consuming him through gaze alone, Rain was quick to take back his attention as he settled at Aether's side.
The water ghoul leaned his weight onto him as he wrote along his collarbone. It took Aether a few moments to gain the courage to see what it said through the mirror above. 'Worthy'. Aether couldn't pull his eyes away from the long and curvy script's reflection. Not even when Rain leaned down to place a ghost of a kiss over it. Through the mirror he watched as Cirrus wrote into his bicep next. 'Strong' and 'beautiful'.
He couldn't see what Swiss was writing onto his unmarked hand as tears began to well in his eyes. Mountain's thumbs were rubbing his cheeks as Cirrus and Rain kissed his shoulders, Sunshine and Dewdrop kissing his ankles. His body began to shake with silent sobs as Swiss whispered, "desired" against his palm. Hands rubbed along his body comforting with whispered praises.
Sunshine and Dewdrop scribbled above his knees next. As his tears fell, Aether made word of their writing - 'the sweetest' 'like honey'. Suddenly, an overwhelming feeling hit him as hands glided towards his middle: covering his upper thighs, lower belly, and hips. His dick twitched, rapidly beginning to harden.
"May I?" Aether nodded.
Dewdrop spit onto his hand and took Aether's cock into his fist, bringing it to a fully hardened state. He moaned against Swiss' thumb attempting to push past his lips. He let it. The petting of his tongue soothed him as the stroking on his cock increased and mouths made their way onto his nipples. It was lulling him into a comfortable, safe, and mindless space as he felt more scribbles across his skin. 'Loved', 'cherished'.
"Aeth? Close your eyes, yeah? Wait to see these." A purr rose in Aether's chest in acknowledgement of the request. His ears twitched eagerly to catch sounds as he heard kissing above him. His hand reached up blindly to where the sounds were coming from, meeting a rough beard. Swiss. And Mountain. Swiss pulled his thumb from Aether's mouth and used the now free hand to hold Aeth's against his face. He could feel the way the multi ghoul's jaw moved with every kiss, hot breath grazing his fingers.
He whined with need and want for a kiss of his own. Luckily, a pair of lips were quick to plant themselves on his. Soft and plush, he tasted Cumulus' strawberry lip gloss on her lips as Dew took his cock into that hot fire ghoul mouth, his back arching beautifully. His free hand slide into Cumulus' curls as they fell over his chest, groaning into the kiss from the scribbles on his skin.
"Want him on his belly." 'Lus pulled away, leaving a hand on his cheek as the ghouls considered Sunshine's statement. They agreed, Dewdrop reluctantly popping off his dick, and Aether turned. He groaned as his cock was squished against the mattress and lightly grinded against it. Teeth were quick to nip at his ass with the intent to leave marks.
Sunshine sat over Aether's lower back, leaning forward to scribble between his shoulder blades and shook her ass for the two behind her. Dewdrop slapped her ass as he bit hard into Aether's thigh, pulling a pained groan out of him. Rain mewled as Aether's scent mixed with that of Sunshine's wet cunt. His hips couldn't help but hump against the quintessence ghoul's leg.
Aether noticed Cirrus and Swiss switch places as the ghoulette's hand caressed his horns, lightly adding pressure. She chirped happily when his eyelids fluttered. Aether strained to watch as Mountain hunched over to suck on her now exposed tits. Captivated by the earth ghoul's long tongue gently licking and sucking on Cirrus' firm and perky breast. His hips picked up the pace causing Rain to moan right along with him as Aether's leg jolted against his sex.
Feeling more scribbling along his shoulder blades and sides, he realized Sunshine was still writing alongside Cumulus and Swiss. With the gentle rubs into his skin and the careful movements of the markers, it was as if he could feel the love letters they left marked onto his skin.
Time went on with so, so many hands and claws all over his body. Touching, pulling, scratching, writing. He couldn't tell who was who anymore as hands groped his body and fingers traced ink, the sensations overwhelming.
Aether felt a hand lift his tail at the base as another maneuvered a marker on its sides. "What are you- 'enter here'? Hah! Good one Dewy. I sure fucking plan to." Aether whined at Swiss' words and the claws that dug into the flesh of his ass.
Sunshine giggled and leaned close to Aether's exposed ear. "Matches the 'sit here' I wrote on his thighs." A shiver ran down his whole body and she took her time licking along the length of his ear.
"Hmm, I think he's missing something around his mouth, dontcha think? Mounty?" Mountain rumbled in return and pet Aether's head.
"Turn for us, love?" Aether groaned and pulled his head up from Mountain's lap. He slowly shifted, feeling warm hands guiding him onto his back once again. The cool air of the room was quick to cool the wetness on his cock, drawing a sweet moan from him. "Stay still." Mountain grabbed a hold of his chin, keeping him in place as Swiss leaned over him to write. He flinched at the texture on his cheek. It wasn't a marker this time but rather… lipstick?
His cock kicked and he felt a large bead of precum roll down his length. Cumulus and Rain must have noticed based on the sing-song giggles that reached his ears and the hands rising up his inner thighs. Swiss patted his cheek and grinned down at him as he admired his work.
"Ready to take a look, baby?" Aether released a stuttering breath as his eyes squeezed closed and nodded. "Well you gotta open your eyes for that, tough guy." Swiss' laugh was light and carried his mind with it as his eyes opened, landing on the reflection of his face.
Of course. Swiss had written 'cum here' with three arrows pointing towards his mouth in bright red lipstick. Without having to be told, Aether let his mouth fall open, tongue rolling out. There was a chorus of lustful purrs and an eager Sunshine that Cirrus had to tell to stay put. With each heavy breath, he trembled under their gazes as his eyes lowered along the mirror, watching how his body shook.
There was a 'bite me' and 'suck me' in large letters on his tits which he carefully traced with his fingers, circling his nipples. Dewdrop growled and he noticed that the ghouls had begun to touch themselves too.
Aether whimpered as he noticed seven carefully written copies of 'mine' along his ribs. He could tell the difference of each ghoul's writing, some in different colors. Right in between his ribs read 'pack leader', the very words that Mountain whispered as he looked down at Aether tracing their script. A deep "ours" came from Rain's direction, precum embarrassingly pooling at his tip as he looked at how aroused the water ghoul was.
Aether's eyes snapped to where Cumulus was touching and saw a bubbly 'puppy' under her fingertips. "Such a good puppy boy aren't you, Aeth?" She pointed at the 'good boy' on the center of his abdomen, making his stomach flip.
"Y-yea… 'm good…"
"So good, Aeth. Our beautiful prince." And oh, there was 'prince' too - and below it, 'princess'. A high whimper left his lips as fingers pressed against the words. His body was becoming difficult to feel as he continued reading the words, ghouls pointing out the ones they wrote. 'Delicious'. 'Sir'. 'Daddy's little toy'. 'My daddy'. If his mind wasn't already broken, it sure was now with the whiplash he felt as he kept reading. Different notes from different ghouls and his dynamics with them. It was so much. Too fucking much.
At the bottom of his belly, above his cock, it said 'all aboard', slightly smeared from his precum. On his thighs he saw Sunshine's 'sit here'. Both comments brought an airy giggle from him that he was unaware was his own, earning him a snicker from Dew as Rain's knuckle trailed up his cock.
"More." Rain purred and complied, assisted by Cirrus who took his weeping cockhead in a firm grip. With the little might he had left, Aether rutted into her palm, precum coating her hand. He tried to speak, but all that came out was incoherent mumbles and cries of pleasure.
"Hey, hey, deep breaths big guy."
"We got you baby, what do you want?" His words came out in a gurgle.
"You can do it, my little prince. I know you can."
"Fu' me… peas."
"Oh we can definitely do that."
"Yeah? Ready for us to ravage you, daddy?"
Aether felt like he was in a blender. Every word slashing so beautifully across his skin, brain turning into a smoothie. He struggled to give a simple yes so he nodded instead, tears falling down his face once again.
That broke whatever dam that was holding back the arousal and need of his pack. Suddenly bodies were moving all around him and over him. Once again becoming overwhelmed from their touch, pulls, and words of praise as they situated themselves around him.
He laid there practically lifeless as they kept pointing out other script on his body as if appreciating a work of art. Hands were all over each others bodies, skin becoming bare and free of clothes. He could see the arousal clear on them all now.
A touch against his cheek brought him back into himself enough to acknowledge it. His mouth fell open as he saw Mountain's cock, ready to take it and whatever else his beloved pack decided he deserved. Aether was in for a long and glorious night.
