More Lioden OCs! Hollyhock!

Hollyhock is my girl Moss's wife! And the bio mom of their daughter Angelonia <3

Hollyhock is a stoic, gruff and imposing lioness. She was one of the best huntresses in the pride when she was alive and she was an even better leader. She became the Chief Huntress and though she was known for leading with an iron paw, the pride was always well fed before her retirement.

Introducing My Lioden Pride!

I thought I should do a post like my Wolvden Pack intro post sooo, here's a post introducing all the lions i have in Lioden currently!

Despite the fact that you cant name your Pride in Lioden, just kno that the Pride's name is "The Flowering Pride" bec I think it fits!!!

For those who want to know who I am on Lioden: My King's name is "ManzanitaFlower" and my player name is ClownCryptids ! my user number is #428617

Some basic info on how I've been playing so far:

Ive decided on a flowers and plants theme for my lions' names, I like the idea that Kings and males have tree names and Lionesses have mostly flower names with a few other plants mixed in! Also I think it would be fun for all kings to get "Flower" added to the end of their names when they become king!

Like in Wolvden, I don't really care about how "rare" a lion's genetics are, I just like the ones that are pretty! Though Lioden has some pretty cool mutations sooo, I will probably be going after some pretty rare lions :P

Now onto the Lions!

This is the king I chose, I liked his red the most, he's very boring tho... But I finally got that male I really wanted and he's the heir now!

He's Malicious bec I always choose to fight ppl... In my defense I need the exp and money.

Here's the Heir!

Mangrove! A Primal and very cool lookin!! I love his mane color!!! Im also very happy I found a Primal male at such an affordable price!!

Onto the Lionesses!

This is Fuchsia! Her spots are so pretty!

And these three are Amaryllis, Orchid and Dahlia! SO Beautifull!!

This is my first lioness Foxglove... I will probably eventually get rid of her but she's at a pretty good level now soooo Im keeping her for now :P

This is Hyacinth! I bought her for an affordable price when I needed more lionesses! She's quite pretty too! She is also watching over my son <3 (should I name my little Serval son? if so what should his name be?? I kno he's just décor but I love himb)

Next up we have Honeysuckle! Beautiful Primal lady! who was gifted to me by @fen-of-fools <3

And last but not least is Dymondia! she has such cool markings!! and she was a gift from @gay-noodle-clan !

Yall are really showering me in gifts wth ... you are so nice T-T

Now onto the teens!

These are the sisters Nemesia and Iris, they are so gourgous!!! I bought them along with a male in the same trade, I sold the male for more space tho... still a bit salty abt that tho bec I forgot to take off his decor before selling him T-T

Also their trade was only 85 SB???? what was up with that?? are they really only worth that much? They r so pretty!!

Also also my albino serval hanging with Nemi <3 should I name my serval to?? (ps. he was also a gift! from @iamearthy !)

aaand Moss and Carnation! these two are cubs I got from the Giving Tree! I really love Moss.. she's evil and I really want to have a evil pose for her one day...

This is my only cub, Thyme (other than the one Foxglove had but im selling that as fodder lol), I also got her from the Giving Tree!

here's her as an adult to show off her markings a bit better! (she kinda reminds me of my Brindleface design hehe)

I saw this ask and I hugely agree with the sentiment. tho I do kinda like the simple aspect of the beetles. makes me wanna play something like this outside of lioden

it's different for everybody but I wish beetles had more aspects to them and could... search for herbs or something? Idk

Why is there a cryptid event in August instead of oh I don’t know…. October? Also is there anything to gain from it or is it just encounters and is it monthly, yearly? (I’m not playing rn, sorry)

Lioden already has a huge October event. (The most encounters out of any event) With two different micro events in it. A war with Heaven v Hell v Neutral (for Lions) and a Rabies mechanic/encounter system that triggers a third set of encounters under the right circumstances. It's Xy' favorite holiday, if I recall correctly. And always has a variety of art updates.

Knowing this, they probably wanted to space their very big holidays apart, to give their art and coding teams a month to work. This cryptid holiday with the three factions reminds me a lot of the October event. -HB

Once again turning my Lioden King into an OC, heres Flowering Wisteria!

I really like how this design turned out! I used a textured brush instead of my usual solid brush for coloring this time and I think it looks really good for this kind of complex design!!

This is my beloved Ra based king of my main account! I spent SO MUCH time saving for them, and I have finally filled up (almost) all their marking slots! I just need the thrashed face mark and their design will be complete!!

They've actually turned out to be a pretty good money maker bec I've gotten a lot of studs for them! Love that!

Just like with my Prev. King, when it comes to making my lions into OCs I choose to ignore a lot of in game stuff, like who their parents actually are and their exact ages. Which I did even more of for Wisteria's story lol

I wrote a lot for them so I don't want to add it to this post sooo if you wanna read their backstory I wrote and stuff like that you can see it on their Toyhouse page HERE!

More Lioden OCs! Here's Moss!

Moss was one of my first lionesses that I became attached to, she has passed at this point but I fully came up with a characterization and life for her ehehe

Moss is cocky and prideful but for a good reason, she was one of the best fighters in the Pride during her time. She has a short temper and is quick to start a fight but during her time as Guard Captain the Pride had been the safest it had ever been.

Moss's mate is the Chief Huntress of the pride Hollyhock (also deceased) they had one daughter together, Angelonia, who would eventually become a great guard herself as well as a powerful Priestess.

Anyways I love her, she is a bad bitch

Im turning my fave Lioden lions into ocs bec I can... here's my main's king <3

Here they are... my beloved purple and pink lion <333

Ive been obsessing over some of my faves from my pride and coming up with fun backstories for them, Willow is the first one who received this treatment... fair since I have spent just soooo much time and beetles on this fawkin cat. I still havent gotten all the markings I want for him oughhhhh T-T

I tried to stay as close as possible to his in game colors and markings though I added a few things, specifically some extra stripes to her face bec it looked boring... maybe I will get him a thrashed face marking .... some day.... its not on the top of the markings I want list....

Anywaysss below is the backstory I came up with for him! I am not at all following what happened in game bec saying "She was bought for 500 SB and I proceeded to replace my old king with them" is boringgggg

Flowering Willow is the 3rd King of the Flowering Pride!

Originally named Chalk, Flowering Willow originated from a much more desolate land, and was born to a pride with a kill or be killed kind of nentality, which Chalk had never bought into. As an adolescent they left to find a better life and pride for themselves. She eventually reached the Flowering Pridelands, an abundant land filled with wild flowering plants and plenty of prey, a place that was almost the complete opposite from his birth home. Chalk was found on the territory by the Flowering Pride's submale (and the king's mate) Birch, who, to Chalk's surprise, happily invited him to stay as long as she needed.

While staying with the pride, Chalk was shaken by the hospitality and kindness of the majority of the Pride members, and they felt that they had finally found others who shared their preference for kindness over violence, which had been a rare trait to come across in Chalk's old home. Chalk felt that she had finally found her home, but they worried that they would not be welcome forever as a king can only care for so many submales. However the King of the pride, a primal named Mangrove Flower, saw great leadership potential in Chalk, and Mangrove had been looking for the prefect heir as he knew he would not be able to lead forever. So Mangrove asked Chalk if he wished to stay in the pride permanently and become Mangrove's heir. Chalk was shocked at this not expecting to be allowed to stay let alone made a heir, but they excepted, happy to serve the pride for the rest of his life. As an official Flowering Pride member, their name was changed to a proper (plant themed) pride name, Willow!

Mangrove Flower sadly passed on early (in gameplay i retired him early lol) and so Willow became the King sooner than she had expected. During their Kinging ceremony, they were named Flowering Willow, a change from the previous kings' names receiving Flower after their original names. This was requested by Mangrove Flower before he died and he believed that Willow becoming king would be the beginning of a new peaceful and stable era for the pride, and he believed that the change to the naming tradition would be symbolic of this.

Overall Flowering Willow is a very kind and calm lion, he prioritizes kindness and fairness over all things and tries to make any lion he comes across (in his pride or not) feel safe and not threatened.... That is unless the lion (or any other creature for that matter) makes themself a threat, because then Willow will not hold back in fighting to protect his pride and territory. Willow though seeming soft and like not much of a fighter is actually every good at battle due to where he grew up and also thanks to Mangrove Flower and Birch's training.

Willow viewed Mangrove and Birch as surrogate fathers, and he was devastated by Mangrove's death. He is extremally close to Birch and deeply appreciates Birch's aid and advice when it comes to leadership.

I havent decided if he has any actual mates, of course he has sired cubs but I havent decided if he is romantically involved with anyone hmmm...

New Main Lioden King!!

Flowering Willow has passed, I almost just kept his look but I decided to change things up!!

Introducing Flowering Wisteria!

They are a G2 Ra, Clouded Pie!

They only have a few marks rn but I have plans!!! For now tho they are priced pretty cheep (125 SB) so if you have a breeding project that requires a Ra stud come check them out (#428617)!

... ya I love thrashed markings soooo just like my prev king Wisteria will have them as well!

Im quite proud of this design!! They require a lot of marks from November so wish me luck on grinding for piety LOL

Which cubs from them has the weirdest name you feel was given to a pretty lion?

Pretty much all cubs I keep from my kings are named after their parents so nothing weird there but sometimes I find hilarious ones when looking at cubs they have sired in other prides... my favorites are-

"Impulse is a crazy thing" a beautiful eyeless fiery colored lioness

"Dumbass" a gray-blue clouded piebald submale

And a series of lions who are all named with a star wars theme ... I love their owner for that
