We think that it’s motivating to study a certain place. In most cases, we study interesting places based on popularity and liveability. With that, it’s a good thing that the number of people studying history has increased intensely. Maybe, it’s because of the pandemic that activities that can be done at home are popular. At this time, studying about the history of Fallon, MO is exciting. O'Fallon was founded in 1856 by Nicholas Krekel. In addition, the community was named by Krekel's older brother, Judge Arnold Krekel, after John O'Fallon, the president of the North Missouri Railroad. A post office called O'Fallon has been in operation since 1859 with its first postmaster being Nicholas Krekel.

Pete Postlethwaite ended brassed off with a powerful speech about the devastation of unemployment. A few other movies about hard times.
Bicycle Thieves. Vittorio De Sica (1948). An unemployed man (Lamberto Maggiorani) in postwar Rome finally gets a job posting advertising bills that requires a bicycle. He sells valuable bedsheets to get his bike out of hock, but it is then stolen and he and his young son (Enzo Staiola) look for the thief through the impoverished neighborhoods  in this look at living-on-the-margins poverty which is usually (and justifiably) listed as one of the best movies ever made.
The Full Monty. D: Peter Cattaneo (1997). In a steel mill town ravaged by layoffs, a group of former workers try to make money by staging a male strip revue with the attraction of showing women “The full (frontal) monty,” in this touching film about redundancy and hope.
Up in the Air. D: Jason Reitman (2009). In a story about living mostly in airports, George Clooney is a “termination assistance adviser” who lays off people for a living. The movie allows Reitman to explore the detritus of the long recession which, when this movie came out we still hadn’t come out of yet. The pain of sudden unemployment had rarely been expressed more eloquently than in this drama/comedy.
99 Homes. D: Rahmin Bahrani (2014). You want to see a good villain? Try Michael Shannon as a real estate operator who gives recently evicted Andrew Garfield a job --- kicking other unemployed, evicted people out of their homes so they can buy the vacated properties cheap. Real estate has never looked so sleazy.
Two Days, One Night. D: Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne (2014). A Belgian factory worker (Marion Cotillard) returns from medical leave (for depression) learns that management offered a 1,000 euro bonus if they will help them eliminate her job by working extra shifts. Over the weekend she has to appeal to all of them to convince them to reconsider. Cotillard is excellent as a woman having to humiliate herself on a beancounter’s whim.

A, Dardenne M, Perdigón G, Perez-Cano F, Savino W, Slobodianik N, Solano L, Valdes R. The cast has had a few voice actors over the years, of the voices you remember, do you have your favourites/least favourites?
I do :D Generally, for the English cast, I prefer the Assault voice cast over all others (Jim Walker as Fox, Mike Madeoy as Falco, Alesia Glidewell as Krystal, Michael McAuliffeas Slippy, Henry Dardenneas Peppy and Grant Goodeve as Wolf). For my Least favorites, I generally thought every re-occurring SF character in Star Fox Adventures had a poor voice except Fox; Falco, Slippy’s and Peppy’s in that game were actually painful to my ears. Krystal’s Adventures voice wasn’t *bad*, but I preferred the later voice she gained in Assault.
Jay Ward and Jaz Adams also do a decent Wolf voice, but I disliked his original SF64 voice-over; it just didn’t fit him well, despite how iconic it was for many players. I’ve also never liked any version of Bill Grey’s English voice; the surfer-dude accent never fit the character well when comparing to the Japanese version. I honestly feel like that character in particular is represented so poorly in English due to the voice. It misses the entire point of the character.
For The Battle Begins anime short, I thought Falco’s English voice was just too high a resister, but I actually really liked Fox, Peppy and Slippy’s, who’s voices all fit the characters well. In fact, Peppy’s voice was a much better fit than the voice that’s used in Zero. As a whole, Peppy was the character who got saddled with a few not great renditions, particularly in Adventures, Smash and  something about Zero’s is a little flat.
For the Japanese version, a few of the cast switched voice actors when SF64-3D came out, and I think most of those replacement voices did just as well as the originals. I love both of Falco’s Japanese voices about equally, as example. I think I actually prefer Fox’s most recent one, at least the voice the Japanese language versions of Zero and The Battle Begins has for him.
