What if Luke took over Daenerys’ place, but make it HOTD?

****Like most of my stories/headcanons, this will be ABO!!!!

The Greens win the civil war, and all of the Blacks perish, except for three; Viserys II, Aegon III, and Lucerys. Unfortunately, they spend months trapped in the Red Keep, paraded around by the Greens for their own amusement and pride. Aemond had taken Luke’s dignity in front of the court in a mock bedding ceremony.

Lucerys gets pregnant, and long into his pregnancy, about five more weeks before the expected due date, he is attacked by guards under the orders of Aegon II, and lost the babe. Once again in front of the court, Luke is shamed and made fun for it with his brothers in his arms. Aemond, over and over for a year and a half, attempted to get the former prince of the Realm pregnant, but the stress and humiliation kept killing off the babes

However, Corlys was able to find a way to get them out, and directed them to a set of islands he once came across during his travels as a budding man, and advised them to escape and set a home for themselves there

Soon, the trio were able to flee to said abandoned archipelago far off from any other country, and take residence there. The islands were once great with ties to Old Valyria, and was a safe house - well, a castle carved deep into the island’s mountains - for dragon eggs and knowledge of Old Valyria which were all frozen and kept in (semi-)safe conditions by the ones who once guarded them

With Luke being a prodigy at Valyrian thanks for Rhaenyra and Daemon, he deciphers all he needs to know from the texts, and reads them as bedtime stories for his brothers. Thus, the siblings start to learn and conduct experiments from the books containing Old Valyria’s magic - the same magic Queen Visenya was said to have involved herself with before and in the reign of King Aegon Targaryen, First of His Name and even after his demise

Luke then finds three dragon eggs, and puts them over a fire in one of the many rooms in the castle carved within the island. Months have passed, and Luke was now nearing nineteen when the eggs hatched, with all three dragons immediately bonding with Lucerys.

Aegon the Younger, gonna call him Egg here to make it easier to tell which Aegon I’m talking about, and Viserys II, who I’m gonna call Vis for the same reason, aren’t jealous, and are rather ecstatic as it meant they had some protection.

The dragons consists of a silver-purple female named Silvermoon, another reddish female named Ruby, and a bronze scaled male named Ashe. While all three dragons are bonded with Lucerys, they do still find fondness over Egg and Vis. Egg and Ashe are close despite his initial distrust due to his witness of Sunfyre burning his mother. Vis and Ruby often nap and eat together, along with playing with one another to the joy of Lucerys. Silvermoon and Luke are each other’s anchors when their siblings are out playing or hunting.

As the years pass, the three surviving members of the Blacks continue to live in peace and happiness.

Back in Westeros, the Greens have found themselves in quite the predicament; With the dragon eggs soon going cold, their only living dragon being Vhagar, and with their increasing unpopularity with the townsfolk and pressure and claims of promises they must fulfill from the Lords of Houses who sided with them, they knew it was the start of their fall from grace. The Greens pretty much walked so the Lannisters from GOT could run.

About three or four years have passed since the Dance. And Luke is suddenly met with a fleet from House Greyjoy, led by the Red Kraken, Dalton Greyjoy himself.

The man was sailing his ships, raiding villages and taking treasure when he comes upon Luke and his brothers’ island home. When Luke comes to deal with him alone, Dalton threatens to finish what the Greens have started, before Luke calls for his dragons and brothers to spearhead a surprise attack on the Greyjoy Fleet.

Luke had seen the fleet from the horizon sailing for them, and immediately sprung himself, his brothers, and his dragons to action. With three medium sized dragons, not even fully done growing yet, and two extremely peeved and held back boys, who know Black Magic mind you, now allowed to go wild caused his men some arms and legs and even their lives, so Dalton halts his forces and attempts to broker a deal; If Luke lets the Greyjoy men safely go, he’ll make sure the island knows no suffering or pillaging or death.

Luke agrees, but when Dalton is about to board the ship, the former prince stops him, and says that the deal only secured the safety of the men under the Red Kraken’s command, and not the Kraken himself.

Amused by his trickery, Dalton surrenders to staying behind, but does make a small adjustment to allow him letters and occasional visits from his people to keep them in check.

A year passes, and the Red Kraken and Blue Dragon fall head over heels together, and marry in the ways of Old Valyria and of the Drowned God. They consummate their marriage in their own section of the castle, with the other sections lived in by the dragons, Egg, and Vis.

Nine months later, Luke pops out twins; an Omega girl named Rhaelys and an Alpha boy named Rhaemon.

The islands Luke had taken up residence over soon had a small port and villages containing wayward travelers, outcasts and those exiled start popping up, and the Greyjoy Fleet, and soon the Ironborn, named the place Dragonborne Islands - the Isles that Birthed Dragons.

House Stark and Arryn soon catches wind of Luke, Egg, and Vis’ existence, and secretly sail to meet with them. At first, the family of four, with the twins protected by Ruby, and two active dragons were prepared to burn the ships down, but it wasn’t long before they welcomed and brought inside for talks.

House Stark and Arryn still remember their oath to Rhaenyra Targaryen, and their promise to see a Black on the Iron Throne. They remember every slight against them by the Greens and their allies, and wish revenge for both their disgraced Houses and for Rhaenyra Targaryen and her line.

Lucerys, at first refuses, but after some prodding and convincing from Egg and Vis, who both do still feel bitter about their beloved mother’s harrowing and disgraceful death and the trauma the Greens inflicted on both them and their big brother, Lhke agrees to lead a charge to take back the Iron Throne.

Of course, his husband Dalton Greyjoy is most certainly happy to participate - the same could be said for House Stark and Arryn.

Corlys Velaryon hadn’t died yet, and was still living large, and when he was sent a letter by House Greyjoy, informing him of his grandson’s plans, he jumped to the chance to join them immediately. The man abandoned his Driftmark Throne, and sent his entire fleet to the aid of Prince Lucerys Velaryon of the Dragonborne Islands.

The same could be said for Nettles, whom sought revenge for the death of Daemon Targaryen by the hands of the cowardly and weak Greens.

Soon, the Greens are informed by Larys Strong of the uprising far off the shores of Westeros.

That Prince Lucerys Velaryon is alive and well, and is sailing and marching to take back his due.

With the support and backing of the great Houses of Velaryon, Greyjoy, Arryn, and Stark.

With the knowledge of old and ancient, powerful and dark, glorious magic and scriptures of Old Valyria.

And with the strength and might of three dangerous and prime dragons, whom laid an active clutch for Viserys II and the Twins of Lucerys, and the additional war-hardened dragon Sheepstealer with his bloodthirsty rider.

Across the seas and across the lands, in uncharted territory and in front of his people, surrounded by relics of a past great Kingdom,

Lucerys Velaryon of House Targaryen, First of His Name - the Velaryon Pearl, the Mother of Dragons, the Blue Targaryen, Lord of Dragonborne, Wife of the Red Kraken, the Unbroken - named himself King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm on his throne of Old Valyria.

Dalton has a huge crush on Luke but doesn't know how to show it in a healthy way, he replicates what he sees the men in his family doing with women, and well, Greyjoy men are a terrible example of how to treat women, In conclusion, Dalton is the type of boy who will pulls his crush's pigtails 🤭🤭

I— no, I didn’t know of it. I’m gonna be honest when I ship a pairing I like in ungodly levels, I become very exclusive with it skdjd. So I’m content with only shipping Lucerys with Aemond.

I did encounter people shipping Luke with Tommen for some reason??? I don’t see any of those, personally, but I encourage people going for whatever they like, I love when creativity thrives.

On the off chance of sounding contradictory, I do have my small exceptions like I’ve read a small bit of JaceLuke out of curiosity. And I like me some AegonAemond on the side sometimes!

Tanti gli spettacoli in scena sul territorio anche in questi ultimi due mesi (maggio e giugno). Ne abbiamo scelti alcuni emblematici. Iniziamo dalla ‘Notte bianca di Brescia‘ che concludeva “la più bella corsa del mondo”, come definita da Enzo Ferrari. Parliamo della celebre Mille Miglia. In Piazza Loggia a Brescia si è esibita Annalisa Scarrone. Proveniente da quel di Savona la cantante ligure, piazzatasi terza all’ultimo Festival di Sanremo, possiede una voce estremamente interessante per una gamma di belle canzoni. Successo pieno. Un vero ciclo­ne, poi, per ben sei serate, all’Arena di Verona, per un totale di 70mila persone, c’è stato Lorenzo Cherubini, in arte Jovanotti. Non è più il ragazzo lanciato da Claudio Cecchetto tanti anni fa, ma un uomo maturo che ancora sprigiona energia da vendere. Disegna lui gli splendidi lampadari che campeggiano sulla scena dell’Arena e si circonda di una band stratosferica. E che dire di Gino Paoli? Il canzoniere d’amore, al Teatro Romano di Verona stracolmo, ha incantato il pubblico presente sciorinando le sue più belle canzoni divenute ormai un vero cult.

In ambito più nostrano, invece, ricordiamo la presenza dei Legnanesi al castello di Desenzano, compagnia dialettale definita da Federico Fellini “assoluta­mente unica nel suo genere”. Una carrellata di gag sui bei tempi andati dei cortili lombardi dove si muove una variegata umanità. Bravissimi sia Antonio Provasio (Teresa), sia Luigi Campisi (Giovanni), sia Enrico Dalceri (Mabilia).

A Sirmione, per concludere la nostra carrellata di ricordi, nel mitico Bar Barracuda, testimone oculare dei bei tempi andati, com’è ormai consuetudine, una ubriacatura di jazz di alta qualità: Alberto Gurrisi alla tastiera, Laura Klain alla batteria, poi i due fantastici Emanuele Cisi e Daniele Scannapieco (vedi foto) con i loro magici sax. Spettacolo puro!

Dopo il terzo anno dalla sua inaugurazione, il centro eventi Il Maggiore di Verbania per il 2018 – 19, proporrà una stagione ricca di appuntamenti che vanno dalla prosa alla danza, dai musical alla lirica, fino alla commedia, con artisti come Giuseppe Fiorello, Simona Marchini, Paolo Calabresi, il Classic Russian Ballet, Claudio Insegno, Elio (delle Storie Tese), Gabriele Cirilli, Giampiero Ingrassia, EgriBiancoDanza, Michele Mirabella, l’orchestra cinese NINGBO Symphony Orchestra, l’Opera di Budapest, Roberto Ciufoli, Gianluca Gobbi, Alessio Boni, Enrico Bertolino.

Una novità di quest’anno saranno i progetti dedicati alle formazioni dei giovani, con produzioni che li vedranno coinvolti direttamente sul palcoscenico, oltre alla collaborazione con alcune realtà produttive importanti come il Teatro Nuovo di Milano, per la stagione Musical, e con la Compagnia degli Ipocriti/Melina Balsamo di Napoli, che per la prima volta al Teatro Maggiore terrà un debutto nazionale con lo spettacolo di Jasmine Reza Bella Figura, con Anna Foglietta, Anna Ferzetti, Simona Marchini, Paolo Calabresi, David Sebastiano e la regia di Roberto Andò, che debutterà il 16 ottobre.

Il 6 novembre ci sarà Penso che un sogno così, con Giuseppe Fiorello nel ruolo di Domenico Modugno, regia di Giampiero Solari, poi il 6 dicembre uno dei classici pirandelliani, Il berretto a sonagli con Sebastiano Lo Monaco e Marina Biondi.

Il 23 gennaio 2019 arriverà Alessio Boni in Don Chisciotte, tratto dal romanzo di Miguel de Cervantes, con la regia di Alessio Coni, Roberto Adorai e Marcello Prayer e il 15 febbraio 2019 il Don Giovanni di Molière, produzione del Teatro Stabile di Torino e la regia di Valerio Binasco, direttore artistico dello Stabile.

Per il 2018 – 19 il calendario della Prosa terminerà il 21 marzo 2019 con Regalo di Natale, tratto dal film di Pupi Avati, con Gigio Alberti, Gennaro Di Biase, Filippo Dini, Giovanni Esposito, Valerio Santoro, regia di Marcello Cotugno.

Una novità importante sono i quattro musical prodotti dal Teatro Nuovo di Milano, che partiranno il 23 ottobre con La febbre del sabato sera, con la regia di Claudio Insegno, seguirà il 28 novembre Spamalot, tratto da Monty Python e il sacro Graal, con nel ruolo di Re Artù, Elio Belisari, lo storico front-man delle Storie Tese.

Gabriele Cirilli, il 17 febbraio 2019, sarà Gomez, il capofamiglia della Famiglia Addams, mentre per il 12 marzo 2019 arriverà Hairspray grasso è bello, con Giampiero Ingrassia.

Per la danza la Compagnia EgrBiancoDanza proporrà un ricco calendario di spettacoli, con un programma d’incontri e conferenze tematiche dedicati al pubblico e spettacoli per le scuole.

In occasione dell’anno Rossiniano, la stagione del Maggiore verrà inaugurata il 5 ottobre con Tourdedanse a la Rossini, un mix di danza neoclassica e moderna dedicato al grande compositore, con l’Orchestra dal vivo Camerata Ducale.

Il 23 febbraio 2019 ci sarà Prometeo oltre il fuoco, dove quattro affermati coreografi di fama internazionale, con vari stili coreografici, racconteranno il mito di Prometeo paladino dell’umanità e il 30 marzo 2019 è previsto Apparizioni di Raphael Bianco, sul tema dell’apparizione e della percezione della realtà in tutte le sue forme.

Per concludere, il 25 maggio 2019, ci sarà il Sogno di una notte di mezz’estate, una performance itinerante nel Teatro il Maggiore, dove spazi e anfratti saranno la scenografia di una versione danzata del capolavoro Shakespeariano, in cui canto, prosa, danza e musica dal vivo s’intrecciano.

Per la danza classica, giovedì 17 gennaio 2019 ci sarà Lo schiaccianoci di Ciaikosvsky, con il Classic Russian Ballet.

Inoltre c’è un nuovo progetto per il Maggiore, Invito alla lirica, dove Michele Mirabella, grande esperto di musica e regista di opera, racconterà quattro opere significative del tempo in cui sono state create, musicate e cantate, con quattro cantanti lirici e accompagnato al pianoforte dal maestro Enzo Sartori.

Il 15 dicembre ci sarà Il barbiere di Siviglia di Gioacchino Rossini, il 26 gennaio 2019 Elisir d’amore di Gaetano Donizetti, il 2 marzo 2019 La Traviata di Giuseppe Verdi, il 6 aprile 2019 Madama Butterfly di Giacomo Puccini.

Per la formazione, il balletto La bella addormentata, tratto dall’omonimo balletto di Ciaikosvsky debutterà il 25 novembre al Teatro dal Verme di Milano con i giovani allievi delle scuole di danza del territorio, diretti da Raphael Bianco e accompagnati dall’orchestra dei Giovani Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, per poi essere replicato al Maggiore il 2 dicembre.

Il 12 maggio 2019 è previsto il progetto AIDA, con un centinaio di bambini delle scuole del territorio, che dopo un lavoro di preparazione musicale nel corso dell’anno scolastico e una decina di giorni di prove di regia, saranno il coro, i danzatori e le comparse della versione ridotta dell’opera, con la regia di Manu Lalli e l’Orchestra Talenti Musicali della Fondazione CRT.

Il 15 marzo 2019 ci sarà Le Nozze di Figaro di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, con l’Opera di Budapest e la regia di Mate Szabo, uno dei più noti rappresentanti della nuova generazione dell’Opera ungherese, direttore Sillo Istvan e l’orchestra delle Kodaly Philarmonic Orchestra.

Per il 17 aprile 2019 il Maggiore proporrà il Requiem di Mozart K626 in RE minore, con il Coro schola cantorum San Gregorio Magno di Trecate e l’Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, direttore Mauro Trombetta.

Inoltre, per festeggiare l’arrivo del nuovo anno, il 31 dicembre verrà rappresentato A Christmas Carol con Roberto Ciufoli, che sarà replicato il 1 gennaio 2019.

Per il teatro comico il 6 febbraio 2019 ci sarà Enrico Bertolino in Instant Theatre 2018, dove narrazione, attualità, umorismo, storia, costume, comicità, politica e satira si trovano sulle assi di un palcoscenico.

Il 15 maggio 2019 a Verbania tornano I Legnanesi con 70 anni di risate in dialetto, con Antonio Provasio, Enrico Dalceri, Luigi Campisi. Teresa, Mabilia e il Giovanni che festeggeranno i 70 anni dalla nascita della compagnia.

Il 24 marzo 2019 il teatro proporrà Potted Potter, scritto da Daniel Clarkson e Jefferson Turner, regia di Richar Hurst, dove i libri di Harry Potter saranno, in 70 minuti, condensati sul palco.

A luglio 2019, ci sarà a Il Maggiore di Verbania un evento internazionale, un concerto con l’orchestra cinese NINGBO Symphony Orchestra, con direttore il Professor Yu Feng, Presidente del Conservatorio Centrale di Musica.

Luke caresses his baby-bump as he walks alone in the corridors of his castle.

It was getting dark, and he and his family had decided to all halt their duties to join together as one during dinner. And all but one arrived on time, so Luke offered to go and find the missing one.

As he enters the war room, he sees it. White locks framing a face out of his view, dressed in blue, black and red.

“Viserys, I was wondering where you were. It is time for us to dine together with the rest of our family, we all agreed after all,” Luke gently whispers, though loud enough for the teenager to hear.

The adolescent turns to the brunette, one hand on the table in front of him, the table that resembles the Painted Table back in Dragonstone - their old home.

“Brother, I apologize. I must’ve been lost in my thoughts and didn’t take into account of the time passing by so quickly,” Viserys mutters, as Luke closes the distance between them.

He pushes his hand out towards the younger’s cheek, he knows better than to believe an excuse such as that. He’s used it much in his life after all.

“Vis, tell me what ails you, truly, and I shall do my best to guide you.”

Viserys turns his gaze away from his brother’s knowing eyes, and goes still and quiet.

Luke sighs, and gently grasps the silverette’s face to turn towards him, seeking his eyes to make contact with his own dark ones. When he gets what he wants, Luke opens his mouth, before Viserys beats him to it;

“I’m not like everyone else,” he whispers, as Luke’s thumb sways on his cheek, back and forth. “What do you mean?”

Viserys balls his hands, which Luke notes to be trembling. Again, the younger reaffirms, “I’m not like the rest of our family.”

“I’m not like Dalton, fierce and fearless.”

“I’m not like Egg, smart and your heir.”

“I’m not even like your twins, my nephew and niece, who are our people’s joy and pride.”

Luke frowns, as Viserys lifts his eyes to gaze upon the dark abyss of his older brother’s. He always found comfort in losing himself there.

“I’m not like you,” he mutters.

“I am not… perfect, like you,” he finally rasps out, eyes again finding its way far from Luke’s own.

The elder goes still. He’s seen a scenario like this before. He’s been in Vis’ shoes before.

“…My sweet boy,” Luke starts in a soft tone. “You are right, you are nothing like us.” As Luke says the final word, he sees and feels Viserys flinch, and hears his breath hitch.

anywho, enjoy luke having an existential crisis over a rehappening of what started the dance of dragons in the first place: the second son being in danger, and either killed or taken hostage:)

(very hard decision over whether I should kill little vivi off storm’s end style, or keep him alive but at the cost of ruby’s life - one of luke’s dragons, and whom vivi feels connected to the most out of the three dragons. SO I COMPROMISED AND DECIDED TO MAKE TWO SEPARATE FICS OF BOTH INSTANCES - IDK WHICH ONE WILL BE CANON, SO PICK WHICHEVER CANON AU YOU WANT TO BELIEVE:D)

a/n 2: this is the lead up fic to Vivi’s fate of arriving back to Luke safe, the other fic that ends with Vivi’s death will be Dalton not going with Little Vis to the Stepstones, and while he gets them to join his brother turned mother for the upcoming war, he gets killed on route back to the Isles by either Maelor or Jaehaerys or a son sired by Aemond I haven’t decided yet - this basically kickstarts the second civil war the same way as the first dance of dragons

“Love, Viserys will be alright. He will have Ruby with him, after all.” The words were whispered, though in the room devoid of anyone except for two, it echoed and bounced from the walls as Lucerys stared out into the sea, hands clasped tightly on the windowsill.

“I know he will have Ruby with him, I know Ruby is protective of our little Vis, but still… I can’t help this immense dread within my stomach,” clutching his abdomen swollen with babe, he turns to face his husband.

“Dalton, I fear a repeat of Storm’s End, I fear our little Viserys will be another instance of the wretched Greens taking everything from me. They already took mother, my fathers, my grandmother, Jace, Joffrey and Visenya - you know how much they wanted to rid my mother’s blood from this world, and if news of our heart being out there - all alone - spreads, he might-“ his words were choked back, as small sobs racked throughout his body.

His husband stood silent, arms crossed at his back, and eyes down to bring a sense of privacy to his grieving and distressed husband. As the Greyjoy hears the sobs die down, he slowly walks in front of his beloved, and brings his hands to clutch his sea dragon’s trembling palms. “I know it’s cold comfort, but our heart will be safe, whatever happened to you in the past will not be repeated today, and certainly never in the foreseeable future. He’s a stubborn boy who loves his brother turned mother, he’s determined to prove himself to you, he wants nothing more than for you to be proud of him.”

Luke lets out a shuddered breath, “that is precisely why I am afraid. He is exactly as I was with my mother, and I fear that sameness will be what breaks me apart again, and will be what kills him as it did my family.”

Dalton sighs defeatedly, he knew his husband was concerned, very much and understandably so. As such, he offers a bargain.

“If it makes your worry lessen, I will set sail with Viserys to the Stepstones, and I will accompany him in making a deal with the leaders of the Stepstones to your cause,” Dalton proclaims, in a near yelling tone of anger, though not directed to his dear Pearl of the Seas.

“You are no Targaryen nor Velaryon in the eyes of Westeros, the Greens made sure to publicize and spread that, and your humiliation and suffering will be what draws the Stepstones to you. They will see you as no Targaryen or Velaryon, but as Lucerys Greyjoy of House Dragonborne. And with some threats from my fleet, and from a dragon, I do believe it’ll make them more willing to fight for you - they want to stick whatever ironic victories they require with dragons in the arse of those Westerosi bitches and bastards.”

His soft consort was silent, staring at the wall behind the Greyjoy’s shoulder. After a few moments, Luke turns his dark eyes to his husband’s, and tilts his head. “…I trust you to bring our Viserys back safely - alive and well. The same with our dearest red princess, Ruby. The Stepstones will be under my command, but are free to raid and kill anything and anyone from and within Westeros.”

The Greyjoy smirks, leaning his forehead against Lucerys’, “and what else, my Lord of Dragonborne, eldest surviving son of the true Black Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, and rightful King of Westeros?”

“…Show no mercy. I grant you, your fleet, and our Viserys and Ruby my permission, to show no mercy.”

Loud laughs of excitement, pent up rage and bloodlust erupt from the older man, as he clamps his rough hands upon his lord’s cheeks, and brings him into a kiss.

Separating, Dalton whispers into Luke’s ears, “If I see that One-Eye in the skies, on the ground or at sea, I will shoot him and his dragon down, and bring to you their heads.”

“I will hold you to that promise, my husband.”

Uh… maybe?? My brain fries when it comes to writing the actual thing (even with easy to make fics of ships like Jaceluke, Dalcerys and obviously Lucemond), but I do have many ideas that pop in my head and I put into my notes app. I MIGHT - JUST MIGHT - make one Dalcerys fic (which will possibly be exploring their relationship that resembles Daemyra) this week or the next though that’s in the same au as Lucerys takes Daenerys’ Place in HOTD, so keep your eyes and ears out for that one just in case I do make and post it:)
