Warnings: homesickness

Something you always did with your mom before coming to Basgiath was watch the sunrise on special occasions. Your birthdays, favorite holidays, or just because it was Wednesday. You were feeling a little homesick and your boyfriend noticed.

Liam had been trying for days to cheer you up. He was running out of ideas and nothing seemed to be working. So he turned to your friends. Liam begged them to wrack their brains for something that you might’ve mentioned from home.

And Violet, of course, remembered your sunrises. Liam knew that’s what he had to do. He was going to take you to a nice, scenic spot and you were going to watch the sunrise together. He hopes this would work. Liam would do anything to see you genuinely smile right now.

You slowly stirred as Liam gently shook you awake. “Baby, baby, wake up.” You jolted up, your hands flying to Liam’s shoulders in a bone crushing grip. “What! What’s happening?” You practically screamed. He covered your mouth with his hand as she shushed you.

“You’re gunna wake up the floor.” He laughed out. You lick his palm and he quickly takes his hand away, rubbing your saliva on his pants. Now you’re fully awake laughing at your goofy boyfriend. Looking at the small clock on your bedside table which read 5:15 am.

“Why did you wake me up?” Liam smiled up at you from his kneeling position on your floor. “I have a surprise for you, come on.” He scrambles up, opening your armoire and throwing your flight jacket at you. “Hurry. We don’t have a lot of time.” You shrugged, throwing the covers off your body.

Once your dressed, Liam leads you down to the flight field. Deigh sits in the middle of the field waiting. “Where’s Dalinda?” You give him a skeptical look. Liam takes your hand tugging you towards the dragon. He lets you on, which surprised you, dragons rarely let other people but their riders on them.

Liam climbs on behind you. He holds onto your waist, pulling you flush to his chest, leaving a kiss on your cheek. “Let’s go Deigh!” The dragon takes off, soaring across the forest to a clearing you’d never seen before.

Deigh landed just on the edge of the clearing. The river ran past in slow rushes. Wildflowers were randomly scattered among the grass. You spotted a blanket near the river bank and gave Liam another look. “Ok lover boy, what are you up to?”

Liam wraps his arm around you walking you to the little spot he set up. The sky is starting to get lighter with first of the suns rays you can’t see yet. “I know you’ve been homesick. Your friends told me that you used to watch the sun rise with your mom so…I thought we could watch it together.” His tone turned nervous at the end.

He scratched the back of his neck waiting for your response. Now that he was thinking about it, he wasn’t sure if this would help or make your mood worse. All you could do was stare at the horizon. You slowly turned to Liam, throwing your arms around his torso.

“Thank you.” You whispered into his chest. Liam hugged you back tighter. “Of course, baby.” When you let go of him, Liam sits you on his lap on the blanket, holding you close.

The two of you sat there in a comfortable silence just enjoying each other’s company. As the sun rose you rested your head on Liam’s shoulder. “I love you,” he whispered into your hair, pressing his lips into the back of your head. “I love you too Li.”

Lee Yerim was born on April 24th,1997 in London.Her mother, Lee Obi, is a high school biology teacher (date of birth: 11/09/1970). Her father, Lee Eugene, is the director of a construction company (date of birth 01/23/1968).

Tenshi also has an older sister, Hwang Siyeon (date of birth: 02/16/1994), she works as an air traffic controller, she has a husband and daughter (currently living in New York).

And the younger brother is Lee Yongnam (date of birth: 08/01/2002). He is currently studying at Cambridge (Arts and Humanities).Tenshi tries to keep in touch with the family. They even have a group chat called "Lee Family" (Mom and Tenshi text there the most😋)

Oktay Sinanoğlu(25 Şubat 1935, Bari- 19 Nisan 2015, Miami), Türk kimya mühendisi ve

akademisyen. Kimya, molekülerbiyofizik, biyokimyave matematikalanlarında dersler vermiştir. 1975 yılında özel kanunla Oktay Sinanoğlu'na ilk ve tek Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Profesörü unvanı verilmiştir.[2]Türkiye'de akademik çalışmalarıyla olduğu kadar, Türkçeile ilgili politik görüşleriyle de tanınmaktadır.

25 Şubat 1935 yılında Babası Nüzhet Haşim Sinanoğlu'nun başkonsolos olarak görev yaptığı İtalya'nın Bari şehrinde doğdu. II. Dünya Savaşı'nın başlamasının ardından 1939'da ailesiyle Türkiye'ye döndü.

Oktay Sinanoğlu, 1953 yılında TED Ankara Yenişehir Lisesi'nden birincilikle mezun oldu. 1953 yılında okul bursu ile ABD'ye gitti. 1956'da Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde, Berkeley'deki Kaliforniya Üniversitesi'ndenkimya mühendisi olarak[3]mezun oldu. 1957'de Massachusetts Teknoloji Enstitüsündeyüksek lisansını tamamladı. Aynı yıl "Sloan Ödülü"nü kazandı.

Doçentlik tezini tamamlamasının (1958-1959) ardından Berkeley'de teorik kimyaalanında doktorasını tamamladı (1959-1960). Doktora danışmanı Kenneth Pitzer'dı.[4]

21 Aralık 1963 tarihinde Yale Üniversitesinde öğrenci olan Paula Armbruster ile evlendi. Evlilik töreni The Branford College Chapel of Yale'de yapıldı.[5]Bu evliliğin ardından, Dilek Sinanoğlu ile evlendi ve bu evliliğinden ikiz çocukları oldu.

19 Nisan 2015 tarihinde Amerika'nın Florida eyaletinde hayatını kaybetti.[6]Ünlü sanatçı Esin Afşar'ın ağabeyidir. Karacaahmet Mezarlığı'nda annesi Rüveyde Sinanoğlu ve kız kardeşi Esin Afşar Aral'ın yanına defnedilmiştir.

1960'ta Yale Üniversitesinde öğretim üyesi oldu. 1 Temmuz 1963 tarihinde kimya alanında tam profesörlük unvanı alarak, 20. yüzyılda Yale Üniversitesinde "tam profesörlük" unvanını en genç yaşta kazanan öğretim üyesi olduğu açıklandı.[8]İlerleyen zamanlarda, son yüzyılda tam profesörlük unvanını alan en genç ikinci öğretim üyesi olduğu ortaya çıktı. Yale Üniversitesinin son 300 yıllık tarihinde tam profesörlük unvanını alan üçüncü en genç öğretim üyesi olduğuna inanılmaktadır.[9]

1964 senesinde Yale Üniversitesinde teorik kimya bölümünü kurdu. Yale'deki görevi boyunca, atom ve moleküllerin çok-elektron teorisi (1961),[10]Çözgeniter teorisi (1964),[11]kimyasal tepkime mekanizmaları teorisi (1974),[12]mikrotermodinamik (1981) ve değerlik kabuğu etkileşim teorisi (1983)[13]çalışmalarını gerçekleştirdi. 1988 senesinde, laboratuvar ortamında birleştirilecek olan kimyasalların, birleştirmenin ardından nasıl tepki vereceklerini öngörebilmek amacıyla, kendi geliştirdiği matematik teorilerine dayanan devrimsel bir yöntem olan ve Sinanoğlu indirgemesi olarak adlandırılan yöntemini yayınladı. Yale'de 37 sene çalıştıktan sonra, 1997'de emekli oldu.

Yale'de çalıştığı süre boyunca, çeşitli Türk üniversitelerine, TÜBİTAK'a ve Japan Society for the Promotion of Science'a (JSPS) danışmanlık yaptı. 1962 yılında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi mütevelli heyeti Oktay Sinanoğlu'na danışman profesör unvanı verdi. 1975 yılında çıkartılan özel kanunla devlet tarafından kendisine "cumhuriyet profesörü" unvanı verildi. 1966'da kimya dalında "TÜBİTAK Bilim Ödülü"nü, 1973'te kimya dalında "Alexander von Humboldt Research Award"ı ve 1975'te "International Outstanding Scientist Award of Japan"i kazandı. 1973'te "fahri büyükelçi" olarak Japonya'ya gönderildi. Sinanoğlu ayrıca Nobel ödülü için iki defa aday gösterildiğini söylemiştir.

1997 yılında Yale'den emekli olmasının ardından Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesinde profesör olarak çalışmaya başladı ve 2002 senesine kadar Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi kimya bölümünde çalışmaya devam etti.

Sinanoğlu birçok bilimsel kitap ve makale yazdı ve birçoklarına da katkıda bulundu. Ayrıca Hedef Türkiye ve Bye Bye Türkçe (2005) gibi eserlere de imza attı.

Yaşamı boyunca kuantum mekaniğine birçok katkıda bulundu. Paul Dirac'ın da üzerinde uğraştığı ancak çözemediği kuantum mekaniğinde Hilbert uzayının topolojisi ve içerdiği yüksek simetrileri problemini çözdü.

TÜRKÇE İLE İLGİLİ GÖRÜŞLERİ VE ÇALIŞMALARI

Türkiye'de bulunduğu dönemde çalışmalarını daha çok toplumda bir Türkçe bilinci oluşturmaya adadı ve Türkçenin yabancı dillerin istilası altında olduğunu vurguladı. Eğitim dilinin Türkçe olması gerektiğini ve yabancı dilin takviyeli olarak öğretilmesinin gerektiğini savundu. Türkçede bulunan yabancı kökenli olduğunu söylediği bazı kelimelere çeşitli karşılıklar önerdi.

Uma história de ciúme e intriga, conflito e traição: Ariodante, a primeira obra de Handel para o então novíssimo Theatre Royal em Covent Garden, em 1735. Nessa época, o compositor estava muito envolvido em rivalidades, falido e acometido por uma doença. No entanto, rejuvenescido por um retiro, ele escreveu esta obra baseada no Orlando Furioso de Ariosto. E conseguiu criar uma partitura ricamente variada e colorida - incluindo a ária íntima "Scherza infida" - considerada uma joia entre as composições de Handel. Na década de 1970, esta ópera começou a ser revivida e passou a ser considerada uma das melhores óperas de Handel. Primeira vez de Ariodante na história da Wiener Staatsoper.

Ela rejeita as investidas amorosas do Duque de Albany, Polinesso, que engana cruelmente Ariodante e o pai de Ginevra, fazendo-os acreditar que Ginevra foi infiel. Ariodante tenta o suicídio e Ginevra é condenada, mas após ser desafiado para um duelo por Lurcanio, irmão de Ariodante, o moribundo Polinesso admite sua trama e os amantes se reencontram.

Sinopse

Ato 1 O gabinete real, no palácio

A princesa Ginevra, em frente ao espelho, está se enfeitando para ficar bonita para seu amado. (Ária: Vezze, lusinghe). Polinesso, Duque de Albany, irrompe na sala e, pensando que ter a filha do rei como sua namorada aumentaria suas perspectivas, declara seu amor por ela. Ginevra o rejeita indignada (Ária: Orrida a gl'occhi miei) e vai embora. Dalinda, que está secretamente apaixonada por Polinesso, o aconselha que seu rival é o príncipe Ariodante, mas também o aconselha que tudo o que ele precisa fazer é abrir os olhos para ver outra pessoa que o ama (Ária: Apri le luci). Deixado sozinho, Polinesso percebe que Dalinda está apaixonada por ele e planeja usá-la para frustrar seu rival e conquistar Ginevra para si (Ária: Coperta la frode).

Os jardins reais

Ariodante canta sobre como toda a natureza lhe fala de amor (Ária: Quì d'amor). Ginevra se junta a ele e eles juram seu amor (Dueto: Prendi, prendi da questa mano). O rei se junta aos amantes, dá-lhes sua bênção e ordena que seu cortesão Odoardo faça os preparativos para o casamento (Ária: Voli colla sua tromba). Sozinho, Ariodante jura ser fiel a Ginevra (Ária: Con l'ali di costanza). Polinesso trama seu plano - ele diz a Dalinda que, se ela se vestir como Ginevra naquela noite e convidá-lo para seus aposentos, ele será dela (Ária: Spero per voi). Lurcanio, irmão de Ariodante, aparece para Dalinda e declara seu amor por ela (Ária: Del mio sol vezzosi rai), mas ela perdeu totalmente seu coração para Polinesso (Ária: Il primo ardor).

Um vale encantador

Ariodante e Ginevra desfrutam das belezas da natureza e da companhia um do outro (Dueto: Se rinasce nel mio cor). Eles são acompanhados por pastores e pastoras (Dueto com coro: Si godete al vostro amor) que dançam para entretê-los (Balé).

Ato 2

Perto de ruínas antigas, à vista dos aposentos de Ginevra; à luz da lua

Polinesso e Ariodante se encontram; Polinesso finge espanto quando Ariodante lhe diz que está noivo de Ginevra, insistindo que Ginevra o ama. Ariodante se recusa a acreditar nisso. Tudo isso está sendo observado por Lurcanio, que está escondido. Polinesso diz a Ariodante para observar enquanto "Ginevra", na verdade Dalinda vestindo as roupas de Ginevra, admite Polinesso em seu quarto para passar a noite. Ariodante está desesperado e quer morrer (Ária: Tu preparati a morire), mas Lurcanio surge das sombras e aconselha Ariodante a viver e buscar vingança (Ária: Tu vivi). Ariodante lamenta tristemente a (suposta) infidelidade de sua amada (Ária: Scherza infida). Quando o dia amanhece, Polinesso e Dalinda saem do palácio. Polinesso promete que a recompensará, para seu deleite (Ária: Se tanto piace al cor) e, sozinho, Polinesso exulta com o bom andamento de sua trama (Ária: Se l'inganno).

Uma galeria no palácio

Enquanto o rei está fazendo os últimos preparativos para o casamento de sua filha, o cortesão Odoardo lhe traz más notícias - Ariodante foi visto cometendo suicídio ao pular no mar. O rei está com o coração partido (Ária: Invida sorte avara). Ginevra aparece, tendo uma premonição de alguma calamidade que se aproxima (Ária: Mi palpita il core). Quando seu pai lhe dá a terrível notícia, ela desmaia e é levada embora. Lurcanio aparece diante do rei, que tenta consolá-lo pela perda de seu irmão. O furioso Lurcanio, no entanto, entrega ao rei uma carta dizendo que viu Ginevra admitir Polinesso em seu quarto para passar a noite, o que fez com que seu irmão se matasse, e Lurcanio agora está determinado a se vingar (Ária: Il tuo sangue). O rei renega sua filha e a condena como prostituta. Quando Ginevra ouve isso, ela entra em delírio (Ária: Il mio crudel martoro) e todas as tentativas de Dalinda de consolá-la falham. Ginevra cai em um sono agitado e perturbado (Ballet of Good and Bad Dreams). Ela acorda aflita (Recitativo accompagnato: Che vidi? oh Dei! misera me!).

Ato 3

Um bosque próximo ao mar

Ariodante sobreviveu e agora repreende amargamente os deuses por condená-lo a viver (Arioso: Numi! lasciarmi vivere). Ao ouvir gritos, Ariodante encontra Dalinda, que está sendo mantida por bandidos contratados por Polinesso, com ordens de matá-la, pois ela é a única testemunha de sua trama para desacreditar Ginevra. Ariodante afasta os capangas de Polinesso e Dalinda lhe revela a verdade - foi ela, disfarçada de Ginevra, que deixou Polinesso entrar em seu quarto. Ariodante se revolta contra a traição que o levou a duvidar de sua amada (Ária: Cieca notte). Sozinha, Dalinda expressa seu remorso (Ária: Neghittosi or voi che fate?).

Os jardins reais

O rei anuncia que nunca mais verá sua filha, a menos que apareça um campeão para defender sua honra. Polinesso dá um passo à frente e se oferece para desafiar Lurcanio em um duelo (Ária: Dover, giustizia, amor). Ginevra, condenada à morte por irregularidade sexual, aparece diante de seu pai implorando para poder beijar sua mão (Ária: Io ti bacio). Seu pai a abraça em seu peito, dizendo que um campeão apareceu para defendê-la - Polinesso. Ela não gosta dessa ideia, mas ele insiste (Ária: Al sen ti stringo e parto). Ginevra prefere a morte à perda de sua honra (Ária: Sì, morrò). Lurcanio oferece novamente seu amor a Dalinda, e ela indica que agora está inclinada a aceitá-lo (Dueto: Dite spera, e son contento).

O campo de duelo, o rei em seu trono

Polinesso e Lurcanio lutam, Lurcanio fere mortalmente Polinesso, que é levado por Odoardo. Um novo campeão aparece com o visor abaixado. Ele se revela como Ariodante, para o espanto de todos, e declara Ginevra inocente. Dalinda admite sua participação na trama. Odoardo retorna com a notícia de que Polinesso, ao morrer, também admitiu sua culpa. O rei perdoa Dalinda e vai em busca de sua filha. Ariodante saúda com júbilo o amanhecer de um novo dia brilhante após noites de escuridão (Ária: Dopo notte).

A sala onde Ginevra está aprisionada

Ginevra olha a morte de frente (Arioso: Manca, oh Dei!). Mas seu pai e os outros aparecem e a declaram vingada. Ela se reencontra com seu amado Ariodante (Dueto: Bramo aver mille vite).

O grande salão do palácio. Uma grande escadaria sustentada por colunas; na parte superior da escada, músicos tocando instrumentos de sopro. O Rei, os Lordes e as Damas descem a escadaria. Ele começa o coro, enquanto os Lordes e as Damas dançam.
