This took like 3 weeks lol I love like everything about it though, it's so much better than the old version.

Matt is faded af, as he clearly was when he picked his font lol. A and B serving sibling energy. L is off in his own little world, cases on the brain, as you do. And Mello and Near are fighting (Mello "accidentally" elbowed Near in the face, Near called him a brute, arguing ensued.)

4. who’s your favorite underrated or obscure character?

A!!!!! I love A so much I can't explain it. Something avout a cannon promted OC is just so amazing to me. I love A HCs, I love examining the different variations of A across the fandom. There's so much potential.

24. Random HCs you'd like to share.

(These are just some of my favorites I have tehe, I have WAY too many HCs.)

Mello has a fear of dead bodies so he rarely killed people in the mafia, because if he was going to get rid of a body he'd do it himself but he didn't want to.

Beyond Birthday could kill people before they were set to die and take their remaining life spans because he was part shinigami. Similarly he could be killed at anytime and his super long lifespan would be given to the persons who killed him, only if they didn't use a death note of course (sorry Light.)

L started listening to rap and hip hop as a joke but then those became his unironic favorites after awhile.

Near has arthritis in his knees that started as minor pain when he was a teen but was in a wheelchair by the time he was 30.

Matt and A used to be bestfriends and Matt never knew A died because no one had the heart to tell him the truth.

L is really good at breaking and entering along with pickpocketing because of his days as a homeless orphan. After he arrived at Wammys House he used his powers to sneak into the kitchen at 3 am for snacks. This is how he met A and B, who also wanted snacks at 3 am.

Beyond is a certified forensic pathologist. He's always loved corpses.

Naomi had a "I'm not like other girls phase" that lasted 10 years. Ended in her trying and failing to convince herself she was bi, then moving to the U.S. to be an FBI agent.

B's favorite genre of anime is Shojo, A's is Shonen. They force the other to watch their shows and the other usually hates it. They both like InuYasha though.

Day 1:

Today is the first day of what I think will be a good thing. Today is the first day in seven years that I’ve actually been warm. I have more things than I did before. I’ve got a desk, a computer, and a very comfortable chair (I think it’s leather). I got new clothes and a new room with a door that I can lock. It’s a little cold, and I don’t have a bed or anything, but I think that if I ask him for those things I’ll get them. After all, he gave me this book because I asked. The only catch so far has been that I don’t get to leave my room yet; apparently, he wants to let the other kids here have some time to adjust to the idea of having someone come in my age. They’re used to younger kids, according to him. Other than that, though, and him not getting my name right– he keeps calling me A, even though I go by Lex– it feels like this is going to be a good thing. Better than before, even if that’s not the highest bar.

He left me food. I don’t really want to eat. I just want to sleep for a while. I’ll write in this again when I wake up.

Update: He gave me cake. I think it was to celebrate my being here, which was nice of him. It's good cake too; it even has strawberries on it, even though they are out of season right now. So far so good.

Death Note AU where hbomberguy makes a five hour long video about youtuber Light Yagami that's initially completely unrelated to the murders (Light would probably plagiarize or have really unhinged right-wing political takes if he was on youtube)

but halfway through he reveals that while researching he stumbled upon evidence that Light might be behind the Kira murders, and then spends like fourty minutes explaining the concept of a shinigami, an hour explaining how he thinks Light used one to commit murders, and then another hour explaining Light's ideology and why the concept of criminals being inherently evil is flawed

He finishes the video by addressing Light directly and telling him that he (Hbomberguy) had his name legally changed before uploading the video, to something that only he knows, making it impossible for Light to kill him
