To Alice,
I just wanted to send you some love today on your birthday and let you know how thankful I am to have you in my life.
I feel like I've known you forever so its crazy to me that next month or so will be one year since we started talking. We have so much in common though so that must be why it feels like I've always known you.
You are genuinely one of the kindest, most welcoming people I know. I don't know if I can even put it into words. I just know that you are always there for me when I need to complain about something. You will advice me and encourage me whenever I need it and support me when I'm feeling low. You were even there when I was dealing with shitty roommates and was terrified they would argue with me.
You're hilarious and we have the exact same sense of humour. We're honestly on the same wave length about everything, from music to donuts! And you let me talk about Preston so much that you even became invested in them which means so much to me because it shows that you care.
You're a true romantic at heart and we have the same hopes for coffee shop meet cutes and fairytale endings. You see good in everything and you're like a golden ray of sunshine in my life.
You have crushes on all the boys you shouldn't and you send the FUNNIEST drunk videos of you stumbling down the street at 1am talking about "Lyan Redson" and how you're scared to tell your Scouser dad that you have a crush on an ex Evertonian. And you say all this but reject all his advances even though when it comes down to it he's just a boy standing in front of a girl asking her to love him.
You are such a force of happiness in my life and I don't think I could ever show my gratitude fully to you.
I can't wait for us to meet one day and to get to take you on the terraces of Deepdale.
I love you Alice,
sag sisters forever x

Frankie goes to Hollywood.
A fantastic performance from North End and a first win at Swansea for sixty years for FM`s Preston North End. A goal in added time, once again, was enough to see this workaholic North End side take all three points and make it a very happy Easter for North End fans after months of misery under the previous regime. The interim manager sent out a team to try and get at Swansea and win the game and how refreshing was that after continually trying to negate the opposition instead of playing to our strengths. North End were dominant in the first half, closing down quickly when not in possession and making Swansea wonder just what was going on. The home side upped the tempo early on in the second half but North End`s three centre backs defended solidy ably assisted by Van Den Berg and Barkhuizen playing in the wide positions. Evans and Riis really battled up front and Whiteman and Ledson just about kicked everything that moved in the middle of the Park.
Frank McAvoy made two changes to the side that grabbed a point on Good Friday against Norwich City with Ben Whiteman and Brad Potts coming in to replace Daniel Johnson and Scott Sinclair. North End lined up playing a 3-4-2-1 formation and were on the front foot right from the start. Our first chance came in the seventh minute when a Whiteman shot was blocked and North End continued to be solid in the first quarter. Storey then had a header saved and four minutes later Potts shot over the bar. After twenty five minutes Riis seemed to be fouled by the keeper when challenging but Mr Bankes waived play on. Potts then had another shot saved at the neat post after North Ends best move. Swansea`s first chance came ten minutes from the break but the shot was blocked by Lindsay. Right on half time Evans turned the final defender and was pulled back only to see the Swansea man get a yellow card when it looked like a red card offence. Potts unfortunately put the free kick wide but North End had been the domiant side in a good first half performance.
No changes for either side at half time as the Swans were in serious need of lifting their game after being dominated by North End in the first half. Swansea immediately tried to take the game to North End in the early stages of the second half but we had two breakaways to warn the home side that we hadnt just come for a point.. There was a shout for a penalty from a Potts shot as the game started to open up and become a little more end to end. Lowe was booked for simulation and a shot from the home side was well saved as the game evened out. Potts again shot over and immediately at the other end a Swansea effort went high, wide and handsome. Sinclair for Riis and Molumby for Potts were the North End subs later on but with the game heading for a draw things took a dramatic twist. In the ninety first minute Scott Sinclair`s close range shot was saved only for Swansea skipper Grimes to help the ball into his own net and give Frankie McAvoys men all three points at Swansea in a fantacstic winning perfromance.
So Frankie goes to Hollywood with a film star performance that was music to the ears of North End fans who have patiently sat at home and waited during this tough season for the club in the Championship. Whilst we are not yet safe you have to feel that one more win from the last six games will comfortably ensure that Championship football is once again on offer at Deepdale next season. McAvoy said he had the people in the right seats and that the last eight games of the season were about letting the players go out and express themselves. Well they did just that in the Principality on this sunny Easter Monday afternoon and I bet they could hear the cheers 250 miles away at the end of the game. I know that one Swallow doesn`t make a Summer but we have seen in the last four days how the squad can adapt when it has to and that the players clearly believe in what they are being told. Long may it continue.

Why Middlesbrough signing Lukas Nmecha makes perfect sense
According to BBC, Middlesbrough have secured the services of Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha on loan until the end of the season, with manager Jonathan Woodgate opting to add more firepower to his team’s attack during the January window.
The 21-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Wolfsburg in Germany but the Cityzens chose to terminate his loan spell after the youngster started only once in the Bundesliga and clocked up just 12 appearances across all competitions, failing to find the net in any of his outings.
Middlesbrough have now added Nmecha to their squad on a loan deal, thus completing their second raid on Man City in the ongoing transfer window. Patrick Roberts headed to the Riverside Stadium on loan yesterday after spending time at Norwich City and now Nmecha has come through the door as Boro’s second signing in the winter market.
Tumblr media

Born in Hamburg. Germany, Nmecha relocated to England at a young age and rose through the youth ranks of Man City before making his professional debut for the Citizens against Leicester City in an EFL Cup tie back in 2017.
The 21-year-old, who has represented both England and Germany at the U-21 level, was subsequently handed his Premier League debut as a late substitute against West Ham during the 2017-18 campaign.
Nmecha, thereafter, scored his first senior goal against Bayern Munich in City’s 2018-19 pre-season tour before heading out on loan to Preston North End in the Championship.
The highly-rated starlet went on to enjoy a decent loan spell at Deepdale, registering 4 goals and 5 assists in 41 appearances before joining Wolfsburg this past summer. Essentially a right-footed centre-forward by trade, Nmecha is also versatile enough to play out wide in an attacking role.
Man City already have promising prospects like Jack Harrison, Tosin Adarabioyo and Arijanet Muric on loan at respective Championship clubs and now the likes of Nmecha and Roberts have joined the boat.
Tumblr media

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough are currently on a roll after a disappointing first half of the campaign under Woodgate, having won each of their last four league fixtures ahead of an FA Cup home tie against Tottenham on Sunday.
The Teessiders have closed the gap on the top-six to just eight points following a string of impressive results but Woodgate will know that there is still a lot of work to be done if Boro are to mount an unlikely surge for the playoffs in the second half of the season.
Middlesbrough had been crying out for some inspiration in the final third during the first half of the campaign and the arrival of Lukas Nmecha after a loan deal for Roberts is expected to sound music to the ears of the club faithful.
Having scored just 26 goals in 26 games so far, bringing in attacking reinforcements in January was always going to be a priority for the club hierarchy, and the acquisition of Nmecha on loan means that Woodgate now has some quality depth in his attack to work with.
Verdict
The likes of Marcus Tavernier and Ashley Fletcher have risen to the occasion in the injury absence of Britt Assombalonga to inspire Boro to some impressive wins in recent weeks.
Tumblr media

However, with fixtures set to come thick and fast in the following months, Boro’s depth and quality in attack will surely be put to test and that is exactly where someone like Nmecha could prove to be a real asset to Woodgate’s system.
As evident from the impressive growth of Tavernier, Aynsley Pears, Hayden Coulson and Djed Spence at the Riverside Stadium this season, Woodgate has shown his proficiency in nurturing young talents and Lukas Nmecha should find it a lot easier to settle down in a squad that is currently bursting with some burgeoning academy talents.
Also, the 21-year-old’s versatility could come in handy for Boro while he already has some decent Championship experience under his belt from his previous loan spell at Preston last season.
More Middlesbrough News
Why Patrick Roberts could be a useful signing for Middlesbrough
Why Mitchell Curry could still have a future at Middlesbrough
Why Cameron John could be a good signing for Middlesbrough in January
With that in mind, Middlesbrough look to have completed a shrewd piece of business with a loan deal for Man City starlet Lukas Nmecha.

Sky Bet EFL Q&A: Preston sensation Alan Browne on his idol Steven Gerrard and his hardest opponent
Alan Browne, hidden away from sight, is the scoring midfielder that Preston does not want you to know.
Quietly speaking on and off the field, the 23-year-old from Cork has scored 20 goals in his last two seasons in Deepdale, eleven of which this season when Preston recovered from a disastrous start to date
He calls the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder Steven Nzonzi as his hardest opponent Jose Mourinho as the manager I would like to play for and reveal a surprisingly guilty TV pleasure.
Passionate. Energetic. Ambitious.
Describe yourself of the field in 3 words. Honest. Certainly
I was only just 20, I was quite young at the time and I did not do it until a few years later, he realized how big it was. Just when you do not realize it, especially at such a young age.
Normally I do not get nervous when I play games, but that one game I remember when the gaffer told me to warm up, I was warming up on the sidelines and looked around, took everything. And that did not touch the nerves.
Probably the score helped me, knowing that we had to lead to hold on. The game was pretty comfortable anyway.
Steven Nzonzi, the defensive midfielder from France
Who is the hardest opponent you faced? . I played against him in the summer, against France for the World Cup (a 2-0 win for France over the Republic of Ireland in Paris). I was really good that day. I just seemed to find room. I like to stand up against the defensive midfielder and make it hard for them, but wherever he was, the ball seemed to fall for him. It was clearly no coincidence. And his range of passing. I kept it simple when I thought I could get there and hit the ball.
I have not come across anyone with the quality of France's side in the championship, but I have to be spectacular, many players have agreements with him, so it was absolutely something I could learn from.
I ran back to my own goal and someone came in. I went to the head, but because I ran to my own goal, I led it to the net.
At that moment you think this is the worst ever, but when I look back on it now, I think it's pretty funny. I'm not sure if our fans liked it at the time, but it's a lesson that has been learned and these things are happening in football.
Which song do you get in the mood for a contest?
Many songs do it, but it changes. I do not have a specific number to which I listen every week.
I am very busy with music nowadays, but when I hear a song on the radio that gives me a good memory or something like that, I will listen to it for a few days and then on a competition day I will probably listen to because it brings me in a good mood.
Everything from the past that would be relevant to my life and that I can remember with good memories. One recent thing I've listened to is The River of Dreams & # 39; from Billy Joel. I will have heard it on the radio, downloaded it on my phone, and then played it again until I become sick again.
Probably a Chinese . I would like to have a good Chinese after a game. To be honest I do not have much that I like, but there is a new one opened in Preston that I really like, I've been there a few times shortly after games. If I had a dish, it would be chicken satay.
I do not eat too many bad things. Which player in history would you like to play next door – and why? Which player in history would you like to play next to?
I grew up with Steven Gerrard, so it would be for sure. He was my idol from an early age and I always liked playing with him or playing against him.
He had everything, defensive and offensive. He is the one who, if someone says he has come against him, becomes a little jealous and wish me the opportunity to do so. He was just as good as he and his reach was also excellent. He was the complete midfielder for me.
Jose Mourinho, only because I think he is a bit of a character and I would like to know how he is in an everyday scenario. The media portrays a different side of him, but it would be interesting to see how he looks from day to day.
You are a bad manager if you win so many titles. His record speaks for itself. What would you be if you were not a footballer? What would you do if you were not a footballer?
Just before I came to England, I would do a course in accounting. I'm not sure if I had saved it, but that was the plan before Preston approached me. I thought it was more for the money than it would be. If I chose now, it would be something that made me happy. It's not about money, because you're getting older, you think it's more important to be happy.
It would have been interesting to just see how accountancy was and if I had taken it. Maybe I had saved it and tried to arrange it with football. It's all a bit like, but it still worked out pretty well.
On my days off I play a lot of sport. Golf, darts, table tennis. I really like that.
I am actually quite feminine when it comes to watching movies or TV shows. Nobody would know that. I really love my & # 39; Desperate Housewives & # 39; and stuff like that, & # 39; 90210 & # 39 ;.

Championship: Who wants what to beat the drop, go up or make play-offs on ultimate day?
Championship: Who wants what to beat the drop, go up or make play-offs on ultimate day?
Championship: Who wants what to beat the drop, go up or make play-offs on ultimate day?
These Blackburn followers watched their facet go down on the ultimate day of 2016-17, regardless of successful – however their facet has since secured a return to the Championship
Sky Wager Championship – ultimate day of 2017-18 season Date: Sunday, 6 Might Kick-off: 12:30 BST Protection:Follow live text coverage on the BBC Sport website and app from 10:30 BST
The ultimate countdown. Survival Sunday. No matter you name it, the ultimate day of the Championship’s common season has thrown up some fascinating permutations.
Whereas Wolves have run away with the league title, the second promotion place stays a straight combat between Cardiff and Fulham, whereas Derby, Preston and Millwall are in competition for the final play-off berth.
However the least easy scenario comes on the backside of the desk, the place no fewer than 5 golf equipment are battling to keep away from filling the 2 remaining relegation spots. So as to add spice to the event, 4 of the 5 contenders are taking part in groups needing factors on the prime.
When the music stops, which two golf equipment will be a part of rock-bottom Sunderland within the backside three? This is how every crew can go down – or keep up…
Bolton Wanderers (23rd, 40 factors, objective distinction -36)
Who’re they taking part in? Regardless of being within the worst place of the 5 relegation contenders, Bolton are the one one whose opponents don’t have anything to play for – with mid-table Nottingham Forest the guests to the Macron Stadium.
How can they go down? Lose and they’re down. Realistically, even a draw relegates Bolton, as they would want Barnsley to lose by 15 or extra objectives to match Wanderers’ objective distinction.
Even when they win, the Trotters can be relegated if three of their 4 rivals end above them. Realistically, they can’t catch Studying as a 14-goal swing is required, so if Barnsley and Burton each win – or if a kind of two wins and Birmingham keep away from dropping (as Bolton can catch Birmingham with a four-goal swing), Bolton will make an instantaneous return to League One.
How can they keep up? It is rather a lot “win or bust” for Phil Parkinson’s facet. Even then, they would want to overhaul two of their rivals to retain their Championship standing, so they might require Barnsley and Burton to not win.
Or, if solely one of many Tykes or Brewers takes most factors, Bolton would want Birmingham to lose – and for Parkinson’s males to make up a four-goal swing in objective distinction. So, for instance, a 2-Zero Bolton win and a 2-Zero Birmingham defeat would suffice.
Burton Albion (22nd, 41 factors, GD -42)
Who’re they taking part in? The Brewers journey to seventh-placed Preston North Finish – who can sneak into the play-offs in the event that they win and Derby lose.
How can they go down? Burton’s objective distinction is the worst within the division, and could possibly be the issue which sends them down. Lose on Sunday and they are going to be relegated except Barnsley undergo an implausible 22-goal defeat.
If the Brewers draw at Deepdale, they are going to be relegated if Bolton win or Barnsley keep away from defeat. Due to that objective distinction, even a win is not going to realistically be sufficient for Burton if Studying and Birmingham keep away from defeat, and Barnsley win.
How can they keep up? Regardless of their objective distinction, a win for Burton will maintain them up if Barnsley fail to win, or if both Studying or Birmingham lose.
If the Brewers draw, they are going to be secure if Barnsley lose and Bolton fail to win.
Stage on factors, Barnsley and Burton’s followers might want to maintain observe of their rivals’ matches on Sunday
Barnsley (21st, 41 factors, GD -21)
Who’re they taking part in? The Tykes head down the M1 to sixth-placed Derby County, who will realistically e book their play-off place in the event that they keep away from defeat.
How can they go down? In distinction to Burton, Barnsley’s objective distinction is the perfect of the 5 relegation contenders, which works of their favour. In the event that they win, solely a Burton win within the realms of fantasy – by 22 or extra objectives – may threaten to ship the Tykes down.
Nevertheless, if the Yorkshire facet lose, they are going to be relegated if Burton keep away from defeat or Bolton win. A draw for Barnsley would ship them down if both Burton or Bolton win.
How can they keep up? As defined above, a win by any margin realistically retains Barnsley up. A draw is sufficient if Burton and Bolton each fail to win.
A defeat would depart the Tykes sweating on each of these different outcomes – and they’d require Burton to lose, and Bolton to not take most factors. Solely a Barnsley defeat by 15 or extra objectives would depart them weak to a Bolton draw.
Birmingham Metropolis (20th, 43 factors, GD -32)
Who’re they taking part in? Birmingham host promotion-chasing Fulham at St Andrew’s, with the London facet needing to higher Cardiff’s outcome to complete second.
How can they go down? Blues will know that their objective distinction may go away them weak to at the least one of many groups under them.
If Birmingham lose, they may go down if Barnsley and Burton each win – or if a kind of sides is victorious and Bolton win whereas making up a four-goal swing in objective distinction (for example, if Birmingham lose 2-Zero and Bolton win 2-0).
How can they keep up? A win can be sufficient to retain their Championship standing. A draw is realistically adequate for Birmingham, as solely a 10-goal Burton win may threaten them.
If Birmingham lose, they’re nonetheless secure if Barnsley and Burton fail to win – or, if solely a kind of groups wins and Bolton fail to win with a four-goal swing in objective distinction over Blues.
Studying (19th, 43 factors, GD -22)
Who’re they taking part in? Though they’re the least doubtless crew (on paper at the least) to be relegated, Studying have probably the most troublesome fixture in comparison with their rivals. They’re away to Cardiff Metropolis, who will take the second automated promotion place to the Premier League in the event that they win, or match Fulham’s outcome.
How can they go down? Boss Paul Clement apologised to Reading’s supporters for the truth that they’re nonetheless not secure from relegation as they enter their ultimate sport.
However realistically, their solely hazard of taking place is that if they lose and three different outcomes go towards them – if Barnsley and Burton each win, and Birmingham keep away from defeat. Bolton can solely threaten to overhaul the Royals in the event that they win with an implausible 14-goal swing in objective distinction.
How can they keep up? It’s comparatively easy – keep away from defeat at Cardiff. Even when Studying solely draw, Burton can solely catch them with a daft 20-goal win.
If the Royals lose, they’re secure if Birmingham additionally lose, or if Barnsley and Burton don’t each win. This reductions the aforementioned implausible state of affairs that Studying lose and Bolton win whereas making up a 14-goal swing in objective distinction.
Fulham and Cardiff are battling for promotion – however might also have a say within the relegation image as they play Birmingham and Studying respectively
And at last, on the prime…
Fortunately, the permutations on the prime are a lot simpler to checklist.
Cardiff Metropolis will take the second promotion place in the event that they win or match Fulham’s outcome. Fulham want to higher Cardiff’s outcome.
Derby County’s objective distinction means they may realistically take the ultimate play-off place in the event that they keep away from defeat. If the Rams lose, that permits Preston North Finish in the event that they win.
Millwall‘s very faint hopes relaxation on thrashing Aston Villa, whereas Derby lose badly sufficient for the Lions to make up at the least a nine-goal swing – in all probability 10 as a way to overtake them on objectives scored – and Preston don’t win.
