Now, I'd say I'm Translink's least favourite child, but that'd be forgetting their real least favourite child, the Doomben line. A line so forgettable, I almost forgot about it. It only ever departs every 30 minutes, even during rush hours. It's the only line that doesn't go anywhere after Roma Street. It's short. It's pathetic. It STILL got NGR trains before my line did.

Research
Northshore Hamilton exists within Turrbul and Jagera lands, being the two aboriginal communities that are custodians of the land. "Much of what is now the Northshore Hamilton area was known to the Turrbal and Jagera people as Yerrol or Yurrol, which referred to rainforest vine, used in hut-building and as a general fibre or rope. Nearby Doomben similarly referred to rainforest, meaning ‘a species of tree fern’ or ‘staghorn fern.' (https://northshorebrisbane.com.au/history/)
In 1896, it was recognised as a good location for a ferry terminal to surrounding suburbs such as Bulimba, and after the Brisbane river was dredged and widened, it became a key point for Brisbane's import/export economy through to the 1900's (https://northshorebrisbane.com.au/history/)
After many years of operation, the local government identified that Fishermen's Island, an area of Brisbane closer to the mouth of the river, was selected to be the main port for the city and operations at Hamilton ceased.
As it is currently, Hamilton is a more deserted area of the Brisbane river that has seen moderate growth from initiatives such as Eat Street that draw a reliable number of participants each week and also managed to adapt to large economic downturns like the recent Covid-19 pandemic.

Historic Background
In order to have a clear comprehension of what I want my concept to be and how to successfully navigate the idea, I needed to acknowledge the area's rich history and what must be respected throughout the project.
The Turrbal and Jagera people referred to much of what is now Northshore Hamilton as Yerrol or Yurrol, which referred to a rainforest vine used for hut construction and as a general fibre or fibre. Similarly, nearby Doomben referred to the rainforest as 'a species of tree fern' or'staghorn fern.'
The Northshore Hamilton Urban Development Area (UDA) was proclaimed on March 27, 2008. In February 2013, the Urban Land Development Act of 2007 was repealed and substituted by the Economic Development Act of 2012, and all UDAs (Urban Development Areas) under the previous law became PDAs (Priority Development Areas). (PDAS). Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) assumed charge of all PDAs, including Northshore. (EDQ, n.d.).
