As many comparisons as there are between TK and Buck or Carlos and Eddie especially regarding general appearance and outward behavior when you focus on their deeper personalities Buck and Carlos have a lot in common and so do Eddie and TK.

Carlos and Buck are generally more free with their emotions, often considered soft by others. There is no one that will fight hard for their loved ones than them. Both have felt ignored and rejected by their parents resulting in bad decisions. The only time we see them close to violent is when they are in moments of emotional turmoil unlike any they had experienced before.

TK and Eddie are more emotionally guarded. It takes them both a long time to open up to people, especially about their pasts. Both have been afraid to be open to new relationships due to past heartache. They have a history of running towards danger rather than face difficulties in their personal lives, one towards drugs, the other to war. They also both put themselves in violent situations rather than dealing with emotional trauma.

The amount of research that clearly went into this fic is staggering for a worked tagged 'Medical Inaccuracies' in a fandom that's basically the medical inaccuracies show. hi all! I’ve been writing for buddie and tarlos for a while now, I’m enjoying it so much and I want to have all my fics with their links in one post to share all of them with fellow buddie and tarlos shippers, hence, this masterpost! it will be updated as the fics are updated and it would mean the literal universe to me if anyone decides to check any of my work out, I would really appreciate it! 

911 and 911 lone star crossover:

Austin Bound

summary: “I heard that a firefighter in Los Angeles had a piece of rebar go through his brain. And then he was back at work within a month,” Judd nonchalantly states.

“That’s impossible.”

“My buddy swears it's true,” Judd replies.

Where Eddie is Judd’s buddy and they've been keeping in touch since Eddie left for LA. After a couple of phone calls with Judd and some catching up, Judd realizes Eddie isn't quite as fine as he claims to be. Judd convinces Eddie to take some time off and to bring Christopher to visit Austin, to see him and meet the 126 crew. Eddie agrees and ends up bringing Buck along, too.

AKA where Buddie and Tarlos meet, friendships blossom and feelings are brought into perspective.

Catching Fire

summary: “Dispatch, we have a 10-33 at our location. Fire has ignited, we need Fire and Rescue, Medical and back up. Three individuals trapped, two officers and one civilian.” “Fire, Medical and back up is on route to you now,” comes the quick reply. “Officer Reyes, report.” Radio static. “Officer Reyes, report.” Silence. “Carlos!” Nothing. Where Carlos and his partner respond to a noise complaint that quickly escalates into a blazing fire, putting their lives in danger. The 126 are called to the scene and TK’s heart drops into his knees when he learns that Carlos is trapped inside the burning apartment. The 126 frantically work to save the officers, and they deal with the aftermath together, as a family.
